We have stayed here 3 times...very well centered in Chandler. Great service, super clean rooms. Excellent staff. Always fast room service. Great clean pools. Cannot say enough about this hotel.

What an absolute joke of a business. We were supposed to have our wedding ceremony here and booked pre-Covid. When Covid hit, we tried canceling our ceremony and they told us if we canceled then we would receive no refund, but if waited until October, we could get a refund. When we contacted them at the beginning of October, they said we were past our refund window (so they lied and played games to get us this no refund point). They later insulted us and got very rude. We eventually had to quit communicating with them over the phone because of how rude and insulting they were and had to communicate only via email. Our contract clearly states we could cancel without penalty because of a major event (a global pandemic) but they decided to receive tons in relief from the government AND keep our money at the same time. If you're thinking of holding your wedding here, save yourself the trouble and find a reputable business because this place is nothing but a scam.

I had a poor experience at this hotel and my review will be skewed in that direction. I was given a hotel room with broken AC which I later realized after a poor nights' sleep and returning after a long workday to a 80 degree room. I was quickly switched to another room. The next morning I was woken up at 7 AM by a tree trimming crew right outside my window. The property claims to be a resort and willingly charges you for it but is yet to be seen. It's basically in a parking lot with all the rooms being publicly accessible. Location is ideal in the heart of Chandler. However I will not be staying at the hotel again. With some conversation I was lightly compensated for my troubles but definitely had to ask for it. It's too soon to tell if management followed through what they promised me at checkout.

Quiet and clean. Nice buildings with outside entrances and balconies. No room safes, though. A cut above most places I've stayed and worth the price. They even have limited in room late night dining between 10 PM and 6 AM.

Beautiful room, good for families. Has a heated pool. Staff is wonderful, Danielle at the front desk was very helpful. She gave us some great advice for where things were around town.

Lupe was an excellent server in the cafe. We got the complimentary breakfast package. I got the California breakfast burrito. It was delicious. My wife tried the buffet, it was also great.

We have two kids and they were very prepared and handled them very well.

If you want an upscale experience with an affordable price this is the place to go.

It's like they dont care how the property looks. I know its summer but this place looks like know one cares! The pool is green with 30 kids swimming, parents are just sitting on the side watching the craziness

I wish I could give 1/2 a star. This place has been dishonest and rude. They have taken advantage of people in this horrible time. Do not go here or use them.
Added note because of reply.
Dont use Covid for the excuse for your poor customer service. Your lies are not covids fault. You have ruined a wedding because of your lies. That is NOT covids fault!!!

Three night stay in July, very disappointed. Hair in the bathroom, could not find a cup of coffee in the hotel anywhere, had to find our own coffee in restaurant, hotel definitely understaffed, elevators were HOT and dirty getting to our room, grounds were ugly. We really expected much better for a 3-1/2 star hotel. Only plus is location. Never again.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Chandler, AZ. I absolutely love it here. This visit in August 2020 is in the midst of COVID and one of the hottest summers on record. The staff is very accommodating, as always, despite the restrictions currently in place. Some may not "like" that the rooms are somewhat outdated (though many are currently under remodel) but the rooms are always very clean and the beds are very comfortable. They have their own bar & restaurant, but there are plenty of other places within walking distance. The grounds are simply spectacular.

Check in and check out was very easy and staff was very friendly. But there were a lot of stains on the floor, the pull out couch had stains all over it and food/old french fries inside of it from a previous guest...extra sheets in closet were dirty also. Had to get assistance twice to get all clean sheets and dirty sheets taken away.

Where should I start? Even with construction going on, I hardly noticed it. The resort is beautiful! My husband and I love the room, the restaurant/bar (their cooking is amazing!) , their pool (so relaxing), the location ( middle of Downtown Chandler), their employees (super helpful and friendly), and what else...... There were two big events we got to watch from our table outside, a wedding party and a bridle shower. The setting was just gorgeous!! The price is very reasonable, not overpriced. We had free breakfasts the entire time (5 days). I would definitely go back, highly recommended.

The resort is very well located to allow walking to dozens of great restaurants and several local spots for entertainment. The hotel is nice, spacious, and clean. There was a significant number of families staying when I visited in March. Overall nice and friendly, but nothing standout.

The hotel is in a good location, but it is tired and is in need of a serious makeover.
Also service is poor. We were gone all day and returned at 8:30pm to a dirty room. When I called the front desk I was told I must of had the do not disturb sign on. We did not. Coming back to Chandler in a few weeks and will find a different hotel.

As far as resorts go it was very nice. A large inviting seating area in the lobby, a well laid-out area for groups\socials with a bar in the right place and spread out seating for everyone. The resort is located in downtown Chandler and there is a lot to do outside of the resort. If I were to compare, having visited numerous resorts in Scottsdale and then attending the Chandler location, it is difficult to call this a five star resort compared to higher-end Resorts in Scottsdale and North Phoenix. It's a good runner up to the Scottsdale resorts so I decided to give it a four. Still a good place for everyone to visit with lots of fun things to do around it. Clean and inviting but if you're looking for high-end luxury, I was not, the experience was nice.

The rooms here are great, the physical location is nice, the staff is helpful. What sucks is the management. We booked here for a wedding. There were lots of hotels we looked into but chose Crowne Plaza for one reason: the bride was told that as part of the package the bar would remain open until 2 am during their stay (2 nights) as a place for everyone to see eachother before the wedding and then as a place for the guests to settle down and hang out for a bit after the reception. The first night, the lobby was all lit up so we went there but no one was working the bar. It wasn't a huge deal, but a bit disappointing. She talked to a manager and he assured her it would be open tomorrow for the night of the wedding. Trying not to get stressed out on her wedding day, she asked one other person for confirmation and they also said yes. Wedding comes the next day, guests walk back the short distance to the hotel and surprise: the bar/lobby is not only closed like the night before but locked too now so lounging together isn't even an option. There were other more minor issues that also made this a poor choice for the wedding guests but the blatant lies was what really upset me. Everyone makes mistakes, accidents happen so the other things I can forgive.

I loved my stay here! Nice area, be warned currently being updated but nice!

My only question, why did one single bed room have a stand up shower AND a bathtub/shower right next to it? No it wasn't a handicapped room, I think 174? Funny though!

Nice view and not a lot of noise when the patio door was closed. Comfy beds, water, and towels. Cool outside lounge areas!

In order to be a resort and charge a daily fee for it, the hotel must have working fitness equipment. Two bikes. One with an out of order sign. The other does not work even though the screen lights up. it asks to end or resume workout every 90 seconds and it is not tracking the speed nor do the resistance gears work. The rooms are okay. To charge a room rate plus $25 daily Resort fee, there should be other amenities that are working and available. Money needs to be spent an updating the fitness center. The staff are great.

Front desk staff said months in advance that we could have late check out for our wedding. Day came by & front desk woman was incredibly rude and did not honor the request. Why lie in the first place?

Very beautiful hotel. They offer wonderful quiet Casas, as well as traditional suites. The staff were nice and very cordial, and the report's location was set in a beautiful part of Chandler, right near local Chandler attractions.

Killed multiple bugs in the room. Put us where apparently every one on East elevator end working crew leaves their carts going KuKlunck KaKlunck every crack starting at 6am for us. Bathroom was tiled, never sealed, and can tell not ever cleaned regularly. Black mold in grout in shower. Tub had rust holes going through it. Shampoo and conditioner were clearly previously used and near empty. No bar soap for the sink. 2 stars just for convienence to the area.

Have been coming here for years staff is extremely helpful and friendly very comfortable rooms and clean, reasonable rates, nice restaurants close by as well as within the hotel bartenders are always friendly. Real history here being I believe oldest hotel in Arizona. Rooms and other areas are in need of repairs though. Cracked tiles in certain areas. Some outlets in rooms do not work. Still a great place in all. Don't miss it.

What a beautiful hotel! When I was visiting there was a wedding and I think all of the kids from the parents who were attending the wedding were in the hot tub after dusk..about 15 kids, so unfortunately I did not get to enjoy that, but the rooms are nice and the hotel has a great classy feel. I loved that there was a bar poolside and you're withing walking distance of downtown Chandler!

My wife and I had a conference in Gilbert and stayed here for a romantic getaway. Let me start with the cons:

At check in we were directed the LONG way to our room, with all of our luggage with us to lug along. No recognition for being a Priority Club Member. TV is Analog, horrible channels. The sheets weren't put all the way down, so we had to remake the bed. Closet door was broken & completely off the tracks. We had to wedge it into the tracks so it wouldn't fall on us. Water was forgotten one day. Ice bucket plastic sleeve was forgotten another day. Our shower curtain hooks were never closed for our 4 day stay.

And the pros:
The hotel was gorgeous. There are tall palm trees in the courtyards, balcony access to all rooms and the grounds were well kept. You can walk to and around downtown Chandler (several restaurants, shoe stores and specialty shops) from the hotel. The room decor reminded me of a 60's luxury hotel (not that I'm from the 60's but I watch movies). I would say I felt like Cary Grant about 40% of the time. Parking was good and we never had trouble finding a spot near the elevator by our room.

And the neutrals:
Breakfast was good but it reminded me of a quiet Shoney's (remember that place?).

Overall, our visit was really good. One star off for some of the quirky cons above. We will, however, stay here again if we are in the area. By the way, the shoe store in the downtown shopping area is fantastic.

Very accommodating.
