We had lunch at the Heat. Ambience remains classy and comfortable for small and/or big groups. My friends and i particularly enjoyed their sushi bar and laksa and servings of fresh seafood. However, the other choices were not as good in quality. Early on they did not replenish the peking duck, chicken galantina was a bit dry to my taste.
Love this hotel ..... The food is exuberant ..... You will get variety from chinese, Japanese, Filipino , Indian and many other .... Plenty of sea food. Rooms are comfortable, cozy and well maintained ..... Staff very friendly, hospitable and helpful ....... it's luxurious at the same time very homely ......
There was confusion over the request for approval of photography and video. The front desk guys apparently forgot to endorse my handwritten letter of request to Mr. Dumos. But, it all ends well.
The switches in lighting the room were confusing. They were in different directions of the room.

An ideal hotel within the city. Comfortable, secured, close to mall, and with a nice pool. The breakfast in Heat has a wide variety of international cuisine to choose from.

it was nice staying in the room and front desk were so nice and accommodating. I want to give credits to Sir joseph in front desk for good assistance and able to solved minor issues in billing.He was able to assist us to our room since bellboys were not available that time.
But we do have concerns in Heat restaurant personnel. We decided to have dinner in Heat. But they positioned us in an uncomfortable area. Very cold knowing we have kids with us and far from the food. Then they assumed that we were walk-in guests even if we kept on saying we are checked in the hotel.But they still insisted we are walk-in guests. There's no problem if they'd assumed us as walk-in guests but we are offended by the way they treated us and for not believing us that we are checked in guests. And same problem occur while having breakfast.They asked us if we want some coffee or chocolate drinks but nothing arrive.Though we manage to asked the waiter to have water instead.I hope management will address this to the restaurants and avoid future instances again. But over all we enjoyed everything and planning to go back on February but probably not dine in Heat restaurant anymore.
My first time to stay in EDSA Shangri-La. The room is clean and the food is great. However, I hope the employees will be more attentive to the guests needs. We end up opening the glass door with all our luggages when my car was brought from the valet parking because the attendant was chatting with the other employee at the main entrance. Nevertheless, the guards and Heat crew were admirable. Thank you EDSA Sharing-La.
The gym and the spa were great amenities to this place.
How I wish you have a discount for locals like me. Congratulations for keeping the hotel as it was when it opened, and until now, excellent!
As usual Edsa Shangrila is wonderful for staycation and convention alike. My only gripe is when I lost a sentimental trinket in the form of a tungsten gold magnetic health men's bracelet in room 948 of garden wing. I initially noticed it missing night of Thursday April 25 but thought it will just turn up when I pack up and check out on April 28 Sunday but couldn't find it. I reported this to front desk and Concierge upon check out but there was nothing they could do except declare it lost or stolen. Sad that this would happen to me after decades of loyalty to Edsa Shangrila. Another thing is the long breakfast queue. I missed breakfast totally the first time because I wanted to attend juicy topics of PSN convention. Second day I had to have late breakfast at 10am. It's only on third day when they opened extension on second floor that I could get hassle-free breakfast.

1. Double charged us & complicated reimbursement process; 2. Upgrade was worse as it was next to elevator and no quiet signs in the hallways; 3. Over charged for iinner, and delayed considerably; 4. Duty Manager has great difficulty relaying simple messages.
Far better than going to Megamall. Not too crowded.

Always excellent service. Its our anniversary trip and our stay experience was indeed became memorable. I really appreciate the anniversary set up in room, I love those couple bear which my kids really enjoyed, especially those sweets! I'd like to say thank you to Benjamin for the smooth check in. And also to Edlyn of Front Office who look after our needs, from arrival to departure. Also, thank you to pool bar team who took care of our food. My kids was very happy and really enjoy the pool facilities. Kudos to life guards! It's was a great experience and pleasure stay and will definitely come back again.

The hotel staff is great! They always treat me very well and everyone is very nice. I especially want to thank the hotel doctor and nurse who helped me with an acute medical issue. They were very attentive and followed up several times to make sure I was doing better.
The thing that keeps me from rating my experience higher is that I was never happy with the room. The carpets are dirty and there is wall damage - among other things. I just kept thinking - I m here for a month? I began counting down one day at a time, everyday. I also noticed some daily service details that the hotel used to provide but seems not to any longer. I shared some of that detail with hotel management.

Always a wonderful experience in EDSA shangrila. Service is nice and the location is great. Being in between 2 malls is a big plus. Would definitely go back again. Only 4 stars because of the ongoing outside construction during our stay. There was some sound but the hotel sent a letter on the day of our stay. I do wish they indicated that on their website too.

One of the best resort hotels in the metropolis. Ideally located with 3 shopping malls as neighbors. Aside from taxis, grab cars, buses and jeepney, it could be accessed via MRT3 but taxis and grab vehicles are the ones which could drop you off on its doorstep. Their food outlets serve a variety of cuisines. The pool area is very nice. Excellent service is rendered by its staff who are always ready to serve and help you.

the ambiance of the place is expected for the people who stayed in this hotel/resort to have a peaceful and quite. I enjoyed the night peace of mind I slept safe and sound. Despite the challenges of the Pandemic, EDSA Shangri-La has ensured measures to prevent possible spread of the virus among their guests. You can still enjoy the amenities of the hotel and it is still the Urban Oasis that the hotel is known for.
Our room had a cigarette smoke smell when we checked in, but they were quick to suggest remedies and help for us.
Officers at the front desk and check out desk were very helpful. I am very impressed. If I have a chance in the future, EDSA Shangri-La will be the first in my mind.
The experience at Edsa Shangri la was, as always exceptional. My third long term stay, it was as great as ever.
The breakfast service remained my highlight. Apart from the almost ridiculously-diverse spread, it was a couple of particularly friendly staff that made it for me and my colleagues - Rico the omelette guy made me my favourite each morning before I even approached, and Lawrence who attentively waited our table most days, already eager and smiling. I hope both are there next time I stay.
The gym is similarly memorable, with an incredibly well-considered design, catering for all gym tastes and needs. The staff there were quietly helpful and the classes were great.
The Lobby bar was an equally civilised place to relax or quietly complete work, although the staffing here were inattentive making ordering a very timely and frustrating ordeal.
The overall feel of the place is one of calm, an oasis completely divorced from the huddle-bustle of Manila outside.

We attended the PC SUMMIT under Unilab LRI Therapharma last Nov. 29, 2018.Usually, We were given the privilege to stay overnight.I have son and my maid who came in to join us in our Breakfast. I declared it upon entering the Heat Restaurant last Nov. 30, 2018 that I have 2 guests.But when we were still at the Mid of our breakfast.The Manager of the Heat Restaurant came to give us our Bill.We kept it, thinking we can settle later after our meal.But after few minutes, she came back again."You need to settle it NOW.Can it be after our meal"." NO, YOU NEED TO PAY NOW".Seems, that we will not pay our bill.For ettiquette REASON. Please teach that woman to please behave. We will not run ...We are fat especially my son.Aside, we are still in our 24 hours stay.And need to check out also afterwards.Hope this matter may be resolved and will not happen to anyone else.Thank you.

Our stay was a last minute booking due to weather in our intended destination. The staff and beauty of the resort took the sting out of our disappointment.
Excellent service. The staff are helpful, courteous and friendly.
Fast Service. Even if we are already the next guest waiting in line to check in and check out, they opened up another lane to accommodate us. The Cubs and Cubbies program is an added bonus for kids to enjoy aside from the pool.

No luggage assistance on departure. Not offered by anyone. Very limited seating for grab/taxi departures. Its ridiculous to tell someone who just checked out and spent considerably money in your hotel they are not allowed to sit in the cafe unless they are buying something. THEY JUST DID BUY SOMETHING. The room and room service wasn't free. Especially if there is no seating in the "waiting area". Please stand and wait for your grab sir is what you are telling me. Bad smell by gym. The consistent Shangri-La scent was broken there. The first time that has ever happened. Walls paper thin in my room. Bathroom is very dated with fixtures not fully secured to wall and mold on the fixtures.
The hotel room is great and the hotel itself is very beautiful. The gym is world class. It connects to the mall so there's a lot of options for dining. Overall great hotel and value for money.
Everything is soo perfect - people, staff, food, ambience and our room view! It was a lovely experience. Only thing though, I hope there s a separate bidet as I find it unhygienic for toilet bowl with bidet inside.

The staff was very helpful always. Parking was simple, although payment at the teller was a bit different.
The food was good, there is some outdoor seating and indoor seating depending on the Cafe or restaurant you choose.
Pool was very kid friendly and family friendly. The pool also has a "lap lane" dedicated for those who want to him get their swimming pool exercise in.
I didn't personally go to the gym or the spa. However I know the gym has a sauna, and hot and cold tubs available.
Direct access to the Shangri la mall and them access to the LRT. Just a few steps from Mega mall.

For a five star hotel, the room was very bare. There were no hand or face towels in the room. At its barest, there was one bath towel for each guest. Breakfast was crowded, loud, very harassed. Food was at best mediocre.
Wonderful design with well kept amenities. The gym was very nice and clean while the HEAT restaurant offered a good amount of options. Staff was very friendly as well. Awesome stay and definitely recommended.

This place always feels like home. Shangri-la hotels always live up to its name. I'm never disappointed in this magical place and they have excellent services and food.

Very nice, very clean and very helpful and friendly staff.
On our third stay in three weeks we did not book online and were unfortunately unable to get our normal room of corner room premiere suite so were given a smaller room in the garden wing, as i did not like the room as much as the normal room we get the lovely lady Lui took care of us and moved a few people around and actually got my wife and i into our normal room and made our stay even more pleasant still.
Could not ask for more, pool is great as is the pool bar.

Everything was good in this hotel. The staff were pleasant and very accomodating.
Hotel staff, room service is excellent. I have given 4 instead of 5 due to following reasons:
when booked room it was supposed to cover BF in the morning and when I checked in on 24th around 7AM hotel guys charged me 1/2 a day but no BF on that day was covered. In addition the staff in the front desk are not aware how the system works.
Nice hotel with Garden Restaurant by the pool that has the best stone Owen baked pizzas...
Swimming pool and fitness areas of top class. High security cameras and guards that follow every move makes it a bit creepy but I guess safe experience.
Nextdoor is the SM MEGA Mall and also recommend the Wagu Restaurant.
The Edsa Shangri-La-La is a wonderful Oasis in Manila. My room was spotlessly clean, quiet, my bed was very comfortable and the rain shower was lovely. There is a good choice of restaurants and the pool is sublime. The staff are friendly and very helpful without exception. I will definitely come back and stay.

Stayed for 3 weeks this time. The rooms, unfortunately, are getting old and downright smelly and dirty. Especially the Garden Wing rooms. Honestly, they are not worth the cost you are charging. I asked several times to give me a better rate but had always been denied. I probably won t go back there.
