Well the moment we walked in and the time we left , the service and interaction with all the staff was excellent.
Staff was very courteous , attentive and responded to all requests.
Will definitely stay at Shangri-La if I am back in Hongkong.
The breakfast buffet is five stars-lot of choices and courteous service.
At the banquet, the service is very good, it is really a five-star hotel.

We stayed with many 5 stars luxury hotels in Hong Kong. Island Shangri-la's service is the best in Hong Kong. Always smiling, helpful and caring staff welcome us from the moment we walk into the hotel. Your Horizon Lounge I find is the best of all hotel lounges in Hong Kong and Petras for the breakfast is so lovely for the first thing every morning. We have stayed with you for 8 days and it was like our warm and wonderful home in Hong Kong. Thank you very much!
Awesome hotel. Spacious room , immediately responding staffs and world class amenities.. I suggest to look include few more Indian and south Asian cuisine. Massage also needs bit of improvement

We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. The customer service is exceptional. I want to commend the people behind this institution from front desk, concierge, housekeeping, the horizon concierge, The bell desk. Everybody went out of their way to make our stay hassle free. The rooms are immaculate and they have sumptuous array of food. We also enjoyed the cocktails at the Horizon Club.
Overall an extremely good stay. Everyone - from the front desk to wait staff at Cafe Too to staff at the pool facilities - have been nothing less than exceptional and have made our stay a comfortable and memorable one. In particular, we really appreciated:
1. The extra attention and lengths that Nicole and the Guest Relations team went to in order to prepare a room with an extra large bed so our family would sleep more comfortably,
2. The thoughtful birthday decorations in the room, cake and hand written card really made the stay a very special occasion for our son as we celebrated his 5th birthday (he's already asked multiple times when we're going to stay at the Shangri-la again!)
3. Extending the early check-in and later check-out allowed us to enjoy the pool facilitates just that little bit longer and we didn't feel a need to rush during our day of checkout
Overall, it was a short but excellent break and we look forward to experiencing the Shangri-la hospitality again very soon, especially once the current lockdown restrictions are lifted and we can experience more fully all the facilitates, restaurants and services that your great hotel has on offer.
Service was excellent from the moment we stepped out of our cab. We were ably assisted by the service manager, Bernadette Guevarra, who briefed us on the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions. the room service was great, as were the facilities. This is definitely one of your better properties.

Checking out took about 20 minutes in the queue alone among the checked in guests. No check out counters were available.
Love the location and service of the hotel, it was my first time and definitely not my last.

Staff are helpful and warm, and willing to resolve the guest's problems. Breakfast is really good, even the small dim sum are delicious.
Generally excellent. Lovely hotel with great staff. Service in Lobster Bar was rather variable. Italian barman was superb, but some others less so... Also confusion amongst staff as to whether or not breakfast was included in our bookings.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious, the food is delicious and the location is super convenient.
Beautiful hotel and in my opinion one of the top two in the city, the other being the Intercontinental in TST. Shangri-la is beautiful, especially live the lobster bar and their cocktails. Good place to stop by for a quick cigar and cocktails one the way home from work. Love it. Remember to book if you want afternoon tea as the lobby gets pretty full.

Highly recommended. Gorgeous part of town near Victoria peak and just above Pacific Place Mall. The hotel itself is beautiful with amazing service. The staff is increidibly kind and helpful, the restaurant is great. It is the only place I would ever stay in Hong Kong. Perfect location for taking a walk, very close to Central.

Exquisite and considerate service, the sea view room has a wide view, the curtains are automatically stored and the intimate room service, fruit and welcome refreshments make people feel comfortable on vacation! The pool is also divided into 2M to 1M, suitable for family fun, sauna and gym! There are Thai food and cocktails by the pool. The restaurants in the hotel are also very high-grade. The breakfast is especially rich and delicious!
My wife was well attended in the ladies sauna and gym are by FE who was amazlingly helpful and attentive in the Spa. Reception was great, helpful and the concierge ppl had wonderful recommendations. The musis at the lobster bar was the great way to end the night in hong kong.

We have been choosing Shangri-La hotels for our most family trip destinations around the world, while it s our first time to visit Island Shangri-La (ISL) to celebrate my mother s birthday under the staycation package. ISL is one of the iconic buildings in the city. We had been there for the friends wedding, business seminars etc. The feeling was that it s a top-notched and luxury hotel. This time, it s my staycation holiday, we re in the casual wear but I could feel the attentive and warm welcome from the ISL staffs from the first check-in till our check out. The staffs answered our inquiries patiently and professionally, offered the best available conditions to our package. The room is very clean and cozy, which is important for us. My office is nearby, hence, during the holiday, we prefer to stay in-house for some relaxation and room dining services. We should say the meals here are excellent and must-have. In the morning, we have the breakfast at 56/F restaurant Petrus, which offers semi-buffet and sets. Besides the flavours fit our taste perfectly, overlooking the picturesque Victoria Harbour with my beloved family, I should say this is simple happiness of the moment no matter what s happening outside and thank you to the ISL team who are endeavouring for the achievements on every details. 2020 is a special year, however the future should be bright for every hardworking person. It was a great experience to spend the night before my wedding at the Island Shangri-la Hotel. The check-in procedure was efficient, while the flower bouquet and other desserts prepared by your staff were truly sweet surprises. The Harbour View Suite has a stunning view and its interior is spacious and comfortable. The room service is of high quality, while your staff members are polite and helpful. The only drawback was the very salty Chinese breakfast (congee and nooldes) we ordered in the room, but the hotel kitchen had soon replaced another bowl of food for us. My family members praised the quality breakfast in other restaurant on 56/F.
Last but not least, your housekeeping staff are honest and helpful because they notified me a valuable item left in my room by mistakes. I was so grateful for being able to retrieve the memorable gift. With all these great experiences, I will certainly recommend Shangri-la Hotel to friends and return to enjoy different kinds of services on special occasions.
it was my first experience at Shangri-la and everything was great. Room was bigger than other hotel twin rooms and all of the staffs were friendly. Especially, I would like to say thank to the door men that they were so attentive and helpful for taxi and carry all the luggages. Their attitude were so fit for 5 stars rating luxurious hotel's fame. good job! Really looking forward to visit Island Shangri-la for the next year of Art Basel HongKong and of course, I would love to come back there if I need to visit HongKong for other reasons.

Fantastic customer service and very friendly staff.
I stayed during the business trip, but the service and room conditions were very good except the hotel is old. It's a bit unfortunate that it's not a station directly connected to the airport railroad, but there were a lot of friendly staff like writing down the taxi number every time you took a taxi from the hotel lobby. Breakfast was especially good, the fruits were so varied and delicious !!

Watching the light show from the pool was a highlight. Amazing views of Victoria Peak and superlative service. Well worth the money.
Horizon club lounge staffs are kind and attentive. Ronsa helped for our check-in, Joyce is so kind to serve while we're staying at the lounge. Teresa arranged our check-out and for our next visit. One request to improve at the horizon club is, we really love "island ale" beer but it was quickly out of stock at the lounge. Hope the hotel prepare enough bottles for next time.
Outdoor area of the Horizon club is very special and our overall stay was fantastic. We'll visit again next week.
We had a great experience at Cafe Too for buffet lunch. Most of the food are up to standard and the environment is pleasant. Needs some improvement at the Chinese cruise section especially for the soup.
Staying with kid for celebration of son's first birthday. From pre-stay greeting email to check-in, to check-out and post-stay email, there is a full package of warm and nice service. Got a kid's bath tub and a crib in the room, and nice gifts for kid upon check-out, all very thoughtful.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I was given the window seats, which I have asked for when I made the reservation. The staffs were keen to serve us. She explained us the seasonal desserts and helped us to sort out our umbrellas. Excellent service from a 5 star hotel.
The food overall was good. The scone was buttery and not too sweet. There was nothing particularly stood out in the bottom savoury tier, but all sandwiches were yum.
The top tier desserts were very delicate. They are not too sweet. The seasonal flavour is summer, so expect berries and tropical fruits to be used!

Hosted an event here before and I would say the Library area is a great place to host a cosy event with a private area for refreshments. The staff were also very helpful in assisting a successful event, for the set up and testing, indeed very professional. Would come back again.

Shangri-la Island hotel it's truly one of a kind! It's such a gorgeous property with stunning lobby, beautiful hallways, amazing rooms and fabulous Horizon Club! Loved the elegant deco throughout (the chandeliers are magnificent and so is the flower centerpiece !)
Our room on 55th floor was just so beautifully furnished and the view onto Hong Kong park ,Bank of China and other skyscrapers was the best view ever! Could sit by the window literally All day

I had called in to inform that my wife will be checking in on my behalf but when my wife arrived at the hotel, she was turned down for not having a credit card to put down the deposit. For a hotel that is supposedly 5-star, I would have expected the staff to have a little more flexibility to be able to give her the room while she waited for my arrival in less than 2hrs.
