Lovely hotel in an excellent location. The staff were attentive and warm when welcoming us and checking us in. The room was impeccably clean and well maintained, the toiletries were very high quality and the bed and linens were so comfy! We appreciate the welcome tea, and enjoyed the facilities; the gym was well equipped and modern, and the buffet breakfast at Cafe Too was amazing, one of the best we've had in all our travels (the french toast, pancakes and huge pastry selection were in particular a highlight) and the service was excellent in spite of it being very busy when we visited. Overall a fantastic stay and we hope to return soon!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The service, the room and the food were excellent. The only problem I have is with the portable wifi. It didn't charge properly. I later realised it was the socket. Once I used my own socket, the charging was fine.

All of the hotel staff were lovely to work with and made this stay very pleasant.

Nice hotel, good hotel, nice view, good service! Luxury and comfort, everything is there, I recommend with your eyes closed.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, excellent facilities and atttentive staff

The hotel offers a consistently high level of service. I have been staying for many years and always get a warm welcome and enjoy a superb stay. It is my "home from home" in Hong Kong.

Due to the HK stike we had to walk with our luggages and 2 kids to the in town checkin as the road were blocked.
no anticipation from the hotel to make sure the guest can leave the hotel nor solution provided on the spot when we checked out at 6pm..we were left to oursleves to get out of the trouble. really bad feeling i must say

Excellent hotel. Always reliable. The lobster bar /restaurant is more casual than the others but a nice atmosphere and good music, decent food. I brought my own wine and they decanted it for me, $400 corkage which is OK

so nice to be welcome whenyou check-in 5AM just after a 5 hours delayed flight from China!

Their restaurant is very clean and the dim sum there is delicious. My family and I enjoyed our meal there and we treated very hospitably. They also serve tea, coffee, and have a dessert menu. This is my second time here for a meal and it did not disappoint

Hotel service is great. However, rooms are a bit dated. Smelled kind of mouldy. For the price I would choose another hotel in the same area

We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute at the hotel. It's been such a pleasure. Thank for the outstanding service and lovely breakfast. We loved it and will come back every year.

Everything went smoothly during the short stay. Pleasant experience as always.

The staff were amazing and added a very personal touch to the stay. The room was great, clean and spacious with a nice view of the peak.

I was slightly disappointed by the breakfast seating. A number of the tables in the dining area were occupied by only one person so that we had to sit in the executive lounge. As a result of this my partner and I had to make trips between the rooms for our breakfast or get staff to bring it to us. I would recommend being more aware of seating capacity more in the future and possibly putting single diners in the lounge, or having breakfast stations in both places.

The staff in the hotel are very efficient but at the same time very friendly. They are very good at predicting the needs of guests and acting accordingly. The staff are really wonderful and make a stay in the hotel a really enjoyable experience. During our stay we never met any member of staff who did not appear to be doing their best for the guests. Our thanks in particular to the staff in the Horizon Club.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the food excellent. We loved the food in the Lobster Bar!
This is our 3rd stay at the Island Shangri-la and we look forward to returning soon.

The seafood week display is made here this week, with the background of Tai O seafood. There are fish cakes, fried rice and fish, siu-flavored sushi, fresh fruit, roasted chicken wings, fried pork ribs, pudding jelly chocolate desserts, and Thailand There are ready-to-boil seafood and frozen seafood. The main seafood is lobster, mussels, dongfeng snails, shrimps, vegetables, lazy crabs, lobsters and mussels. All the food is very fresh. Including seafood, and the service is good, clean and hygienic

Great Service and Great Food. I would stay there again!

We felt that during our stay we were taken cared of very well and all those who attended to us were very good and served us very well. The eggs benedict though that we always ordered can be improved. The eggs are a bit dry and could be more runny but aside from that, room service was excellent and fast.

Amazing staff that will go out of their way to please you. For instance, I showed up late for breakfast one day and noticed that there weren't any almond croissant. The pastry chef ran out to the kitchen as there were just a few left and found me amongst all the tables and delivered the croissant. I thought that was so nice.

Stylish and comfortable hotel in the heart of Hong Kong's Central District.

hotel is upscale. however their breakfast is nothing but disappointing. i had better breakky at Novotel. serioisly crowded with bunch of tourists... if you need refined breakky go to Mandarin Oriental

Cafe too's buffet style is quite a lot. The environment is not bad

The staff is very kind, the house keeping staff is also very intimate, very moving and very comfortable service.

The staff in the chicken counter mr Eric was very kind and took us to our room as soon as we reached the hotel
Miss Nicole went out of her usual duties to arrange dinner for us in the restaurant and guided us for our shopping

tried the buffet...it was very good the cake section, live cooking okay but, the so called parma ham were just an unseasoned raw bacon.Clean at least, price are quite high,view are very nice.
I would however not recommend the place on the basis of choosing a good restaurant

The rooms were damp and smelled very musty. While we were given a dehumidifier, it too was mouldy and had to be emptied every few hours. The staff was lovely but the damp room ruined my presentation papers and the smell in the room was very unpleasant.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Island Shangri-La again. After a long flight there is nothing better than to be met at the airport and every detail taken care of for you, all we had to do was sit back and relax. From the moment we were met at the airport till we were delivered back to the departure gate we were made to feel special and cared for. Any request was met with friendly, prompt professionalism. Our beautiful room was spacious and quiet. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the Lobster Bar & Grill and on our last night had an elegant and beautifully served dinner in the wonderful Restaurant Petrus. Breakfast is probably my favourite meal and your breakfast and service is outstanding. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so complete, we look forward to staying with your hotel again one day.

Good service, very central with sheltered walk to MTR and shopping centre and excellent atmosphere.

The best Hotel in HK for location, quality, food and views

I specifically asked for a non smoking room. Despite that, I was given a smoking room and was told that service staff have ensured there is no smell. When I entered, the smell was bad and it was too late for me to change the room. I can t sleep well for the two nights.

I visited because of the conference and it was okay.

Room bit old but besides that, hotel is faultless. Friendly staff, attentive service. A hotel that seems to be in sync between all departments. Location is fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at the Island Shangri-La Hong Kong, the room was great and the little touches such as fresh fruit in the room each day was a nice touch.

The hotel is conveniently located near Central, close to the subway station. There is a commercial plaza downstairs for shopping. The hotel rooms are located on the upper floors of the building and the outside view can be seen inside the hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and provided a good service for my family. The hotel environment is very comfortable.

One of the best city hotels I have ever been to with an exceptional service, unmatched in Hong Kong.

Even places like the famous Peninsula or Grand Hyatt can learn from the Shangri-La customer service and management.

The buffet has to be seen to be believe. The work to produce so many different dishes must take many hours. Spectacular.

At the Shangrila lobby lounge, they serve the best cheese cake and mille Feuille in town. So flaky and refreshing. Their coffee and teas are impressive too. For a relaxing Sunday, just chill with a cuppa on hand and cakes, with a tropical drop in the background, behind high glassed walls. Hmmm... Nice
