Great greeting attitude when enter into lobby and nice service in the reception employees with smiling faces, nice room, equipment, comfortable bed and fantastic harbor view.

We had a wonderful wedding anniversary thanks to the top-notch service and professionalism of the hotel staff. Korean guests in Horizon club rooms should ask Juna for help. She is an excellent and quite diligent manager with superb attention to details.

Leaking ceiling during my stay on the washroom and high noises due to renovations at the hotel, by far the worst hotel I ever stay. How do you dare to call this hotel an exclusive high-end experience?

Location is good and is very convenient for sightseeing in the city. Also, the hotel was clean and I could spend my time safely and safely. There was also a Japanese staff, and there was a phone call that led to a Japanese-only front desk service, which helped me to reserve a restaurant in the hotel.

The service is very attentive, and I remember your hobbies, and the hotel environment is elegant, especially the giant painting has always been a favorite of children, the swimming pool is not bad.

Island Shangri-La is an amazing hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and considerate.

The food is truly mind-blowing and our taste buds have been completely satisfied.

There are absolutely no negatives to the Island Shangri-La. This is only the second day of our stay and looking forward to the next few days.

We had our annual dinner in their opulent ballroom and everyone enjoyed the food and service.

Instant attention of our needs was what impress us the most.
Great improvements from last stay.

I know I was on the horizon floor but it was excellent and catered to my every need. I enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon snacks and the room was perfect. There was a door knob of the closet that kept falling off but that was the only issue I had. I like the safe size which was big and even to the point of slippers and scissors and everything you could ask for. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating. The weekends in the lounge was a bit crowded, but it was still lovely. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows!

Good services but the room and facilities quite old

Great service and the room is quite comfortable.
If the subway construction in front of the hotel finish, the view and noise would be much better.

I love it because the person I like the most in the world lives in Hong Kong.

Buffet lunch food selection is not much but delicious

Our family has never had a staycation before, but when Charlotte Travel Ltd. suggested Island Shangri-La, we decided to give it a try. We can't wait to do it again!!
We were made to feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment we pulled up in our family car. I must say that Nicole was the most outstanding part of the hospitality team. She truly went out of her way to help us celebrate both my husband's belated birthday and our Easter Sunday. (She even remembered *my* birthday as we were leaving on Sunday and I mentioned that I wanted to come back to celebrate.) Some of the highlights of our stay: the hand-made Happy Easter banner in our room; the remarkable service in the Lobster Bar; and the birthday cake!
Thank you SO MUCH for treating us like we were family. It's a rare feeling in Hong Kong due to the fast pace of everyone's lives. And we feel truly thankful that we were able to visit your hotel, even if only for 2 nights. Your staff were the friendliest, warmest and most genuinely lovely hotel staff we've ever experienced in Hong Kong.

My stay at your hotel may have been one of my best hotel experiences ever. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff was courteous and attentive to all of my requests. Great stay!

Sorry to say but changing my review - really don t let yourself be ripped off by paying extra for a Harbour View room

Paid extra for a harbour view room. Not really out of choice but no Peak rooms available

I am not sure how they can sell that room with the claim of a view. Basically you stare out, looking into other tower blocks and the Conrad hotel

Generally very disappointing and feel they are ripping people off with the extra charge

New room they moved me to (eventually, with no apology) smelt very badly of damp. Gave up at this point

Will look to stay else where from now on sadly

The staff has don't care poor attitude especially the young frontdesk girls. Rooms need renovation and has old stuffy smell.
Shang Palace food was HORRIBLE! Definitely do not deserve any Michelin star. How disappointing...

Everything amazing...the communication with the concierge before my trip was not as speedy as I would have hoped for but once I got to the hotel everything was great.

Special mention to the most amazing breakfast I have ever seen (...and eaten) in a hotel in my whole life.

We had a fantastic time and really appreciated the professional yet very friendly and attentive staff. Everyone was really lovely and made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We loved lazing in the garden by the pool and our room was incredible. Thanks for the chocolates and balloons! Breakfast buffet was amazing too. All the extra little touches were perfect and we really enjoyed our stay with you. We will be back for sure.

Excellent treatment. Guest satisfaction is supreme here. Staff was very cordial to me and my family and accepted our requests to our comfort level.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we could not have felt more impressed. On our arrival my wife got flowers and the manager arranged the band to play our favorite bossa-nova song.

Best service of any 5-star hotel, Hong Kong doesn't have to work hard to get guests, but the Shangri-La tries.

Always a great stay. Rooms are spacious, decor is traditional (it goes either way, really), but everything is generally well maintained. The staff are attentive and friendly, and try their best to help with any queries. It s close to the Admiralty MTR, but I ve found it just much more convenient to walk to Central if need be.

I would like to express my gratitude to Nicole and John for the warm welcoming and the special arrangement in making the check in so efficient. John specially offered a habour-view suite on an upper floor with a more spectacular view, knowing that the next morning was my wedding day. Nicole helped sort out the room key and reminded us about the in-room breakfast arrangement while we wait at the lounge enjoying our afternoon tea, that helped ease any worries the bride might have the day before her big day and I do appreciate that. Most importantly, I appreciate Bernadette's assistance in booking the room on the day I walked in seeking advices and her initiation in showing me the harbour view suite. That kind act did make the decision making easy in choosing Shangri-La for the stay before my wedding day.

It was my first experience with you. My impression exceed my expectations!! Next time defenetly will stay with you!

When we visit family and friends in Hong Kong we always choose to stay at the Island Shangri-la. We truly feel it is a home away from home. THE SERVICE AND PROPERTY is exceptional. It is truly a luxurious 5 star property with matching all round services. We will definitely make this our permanent choice when ever we are visiting H.K. Mid stay report: we booked for a six night stay and this has been our third night. Service has been excellent so far from reception to housekeeping. We stayed on the 45th floor with a stunning harbourview. Initially, they didn t have the room and view we wanted but the request to switch was very smooth. Kudos to all the staff. Hope it continues to be the case for the rest of our stay. Janet Sun

The environment service is good, but the coffee and drinks are not good, even the basic coffee taste is not (failed), the fish and seafood taste and quality are the best in food, other foods are generally, the desserts are not surprised, 7 1 buffet dinner is just The median hunter!

When visiting Hong Kong always make the effort to have a buffet lunch. Definitely one of the best buffets in Hong Kong. Quality and variety of food is excellent. You can get a discount if you have certain Bank cards.

the facility is a bit old, but nice and helpful staffs make the stay a wonderful trip. like the warm welcome Chines tea especially.

Excellent stay. Staff were especially friendly and efficient. Everyone from the doormen to housekeeping. Special thanks to Michelle on the front desk for helping to extend my stay during the night of the protests as I couldn t get to the airport. She ensured I was kept updated in what was happening outside. Booked the private airport transfer for my return and the gentleman (sorry didn t catch his name) was also very friendly. I was met at the airport by Tracy. Tracy was fantastic and stayed with me until I went thru to security. She was knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. This was my first time with Island Shangri-La and I will be booking again for any future HK stays.

We just love the Shangri-La. The whole experience is always impressive. We enjoy the Club Level experience - our stay in Hong Kong was no exception. Everyone is very warm, welcoming, and helpful. In HK at the Club Level Lounge, we were especially pleased with Shirley and with Marco - they looked after our needs so wonderfully. Please give them some special recognition for their great work.

I am writing here to appraise all staff that help me along.

Especially house keeping manager Eddie chau whom set up the room one night in advance on 27jan and show me pics after seating at 1100pm. Before that he closely keep me post the progress. Amazing.

Nicole present me the flowerupon check in and allow me to change the buffet breakfast to 2 order breakfast at room service. Really appreciate.

The tea in the lobby is good, and there are discounts on the afternoon tea online~ I like to eat more salty food~ I sigh cake and enjoy live performance for half an hour~ It is a comfortable afternoon to enjoy~
