Mazzaro - Italian Restaurant Review

Sure has changed since it was GREAT.. not so much anymore to over the top ..prices crazy high! I sure miss the Mazzaro's I grow up with my Nana and Moma

Love this place! We introduced our neighbor to Mazzaro's today and he loved it too!

Place is absolutely amazing and worth the drive from anywhere. Extremely busy on Saturday but the hustle and bustle is part of the experience.

Fantastic Italian store and authentic Italian deli.

Great food at the restaurant and great choices in the market.

This place has a little bit of everything. There are a lot of homemade things to choose from, and they're all delicious.

I love the market, so many things to choose from and of excellent quality. The exquisite sandwich for all tastes, the tasty and fresh bakery, a place that is certainly pleasant to visit and be surprised with the variety and quality of its products.

Great, fun place to visit. They offer just about everything Italian. Food quality as good as it gets. Avoid at traditional last minute holiday shopping times- it is CROWDED

I had the panini of the week and I am not joking it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in the last couple years. Everything is fresh and hand made. Perfection.

The ONLY true Italian market that is anything close to the ones in NY and NJ. We drive 2 hours each way at least once a month to stock up.

It should be on a visitor attraction flyer. Authentic Italian market. But very busy

You have to at least visit this place once. They have great sandwiches and a great bakery. That does not even include the wine section and other items in store. Could spend a couple hours here.

OMG... despite the ever-present crowds, still the best deli in west central Florida. The CHEESE... wine selection, pastries and sweets, not to mention the deli itself. A true destination!

So much to chose and delicious is an understatement! A mouth watering bakery plus market to bring a little home! Come on!

Super busy but worth the wait. Amazing desserts, cheeses, frozen lasagna and so much more. Ps. Don't forget to get the regular Cannolis. Best I've ever had.

I love this Italian market. I wish there was one closer to home. But, the wine selection they offer is huge. If you want to try a different wine, they would be the spot to check out. The gentlemen that manages the wine side is so so helpful. He helped us find a wine that we fell in love with. My new wine I love is Brachetto. It s a sweet red wine with a little bit of bubbles. I ll be going back for more. It s a huge store with a deli and bakery. You got to check it out.

Nice place to get spices coffee lunch and no dogs are aloud but service are aloud

Being from Boston I am spoiled by good meats,cold cuts,pastry, homemade pasta... .since I found Mazzaro's I make the drive to stalk up on things I can't find the quality of the stores locally. Prices are resonable. Definitely worth shopping there! Treat yourself to a Gelato too!

Great place! It is almost always crowded which makes it hard to shop around. Great selection of foods, Boar's head, condiments, coffee and desserts. Charming store when you can get in!

Real Italian products, meats and cheeses. A little pricey but worth it

I ve been coming here for years and they have a supply of Italian food that I haven t seen anywhere else! Their hot Italian sandwich is amazing and super cheap, and don t forget to stop by the desserts area because they are to die for. The German chocolate cake and the cannolis are my go-to. They also have pre-prepped meals that are great to have in the fridge for when you need a Mazzaro s fix.

The place is PACKED on Saturdays, so if you can manage, just go on a week day. Great service. Great food. My wife and I love this place. If you want to go to an Italian market, go to this one.

OMG the best sandwiches, a perfect latte, and a basket full of delicacies. The only problem it is packed even on a Monday afternoon.

Wonderful market. Very busy during lunch times. But this place is worth it. The sandwiches are great. The desert area will make you drool. Try the chocolate bacon!

Love this place, it's a much smaller scale Philly Italian market. You can get fresh or frozen Pastas, fresh baked breads and pastries. They also have a cheese shop, huge wine selection, spice section and a butcher. Great coffee selections, awesome coffee bar. You can get pre made food by pound that looks amazing. My only problem is that my dog ate all my aged pepperoni I purchased.. I will make this a permanent stop when in St Pete.

I ordered the hot Italian sub. It was the best Italian I've ever had. This place is great. It's very casual and a nice spot to take the family. Very reasonable prices!

Just fabulous. Ate lunch, tea was excellent. Going back for dessert and coffee.

Wife is an Italian aficionado and adores this establishment for its selections and variety.

Extremely friendly atmosphere. Good food and reasonable prices at food counters.

This is a wonderful experience with many specialty foods, homemade/handmade on premises.
A cheese room to awe the finest chefs, a wine cellar to excite the connoisseur, a bakery, a surprisingly enormous selection of pastas all made on premises,
a butchers market, fresh veggies, deli, coffee bar, Novelties, a real Italian market with many pathways and hidden rooms to explore. I promise
you will come back. It's awesome!!
PS They close early on Saturdays like 2pm and are closed Sunday

Great selection of Italian groceries. Lovely produce. Quality meats with prices comparable to Publix. Huge wine selection. Nice selection of cheese, imported, and domestic, including local fresh hand made mozzarella. Prepared sandwiches and deli dishes are great. So are the prepared entrees (pricey but delicious) PLUS the bakery counter and coffee bar should not be missed.

Ok foodies this place is awesome! It's old school and modern all in one perfect Italian market. Awesome selections of wines, cheeses, meats, fresh pastas, chocolates, and coffees. I bought the Italian wedding soup and babka and both were awesome! They have a bakery and a butcher and a place to order food to eat right there. I give Mazzaro's 5 stars and an A+ for their selection of specialty items you can't find anywhere else!

My aunt and uncle owns buon appetitos in Bayonne NJ..will deliver anywhere in U.S...they are right off the boat from Sicily..I don't want to say who is better but I can say both are Italian food at its finest..I see the pride in Mazzaros like that of aunt sue and uncle Joe in Jersey..Joe was in the kitchen 4am the morning he married aunt sue.real dedication and pride so rarely found .. Wonderful..and was surprisingly calm..not the usual chaos

Philly Cheese Steak at a great price & yummy. I purchased several unique grocery items. Staff at the coffee bar gladly got us water. Glad that they added the extra seating in that back corner. Means we can often get a seat inside.

Enjoyed lunch while on vacation. If I lived in the area, I would shop there all the time. Impressive butcher shop, deli, imports from Italy.

So much more than a shopping experience. This reminds me of some of the old markets in Pittsburgh and Buffalo. It's got an old world feel. Taste some wine. Try some cheese. Get an espresso at the coffee bar. Buy [a few] pounds of fresh pasta. You can find so many niche foods here. Its a fun little food adventure!

The deli bar is the only reason I go. Great food. Strict hours because the staff would never get home to see their family. I recommend it to anyone coming to town (The Hot Italian sandwich is worth it)
