Had lunch buffet here... Few selections. Lobster and crab is ok

The environment is first class, the location is on the foot, the service is good, you can patronize.

Staff were all great. Our host, Irene, went out of her way to make it a memorable stay. The rooms were stylish, well-equipped and homely. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hong Kong.

The food is quite rich, the environment is good, and the seafood is wrong.

The buffet seats are dense, the food and the price are somewhat disproportionate, the five-star hotel is poor, the food hygiene and the service are good.

The staff is very accommodating but the behavior and personality of the customers, the younger and mid-aged ones, leave much to be desired.

The hotel is very elegant and staff are courteous and efficient. The room is spacious, quiet and the views of the harbour splendid. A wonderful stay in Hong Kong.

Outstanding stay experience. The room was great, comfort and fascinating. I love to have a very welcoming chinese tea upon my arrival at my room. The staff were friendly. The breakfast were also nice, especially when I had my breakfast on the club lounge. The concierge was also very helpful by assisting me to contact car rental company upon check out time.

Overall experience is nice and pleasant. Thank you. Just one thing... the breakfast quality was not too good (we ordered the Chinese breakfast) . It would have been perfect if the standard of the breakfast could be higher.

I have been here for many years and noticed an apparent drop in food quality.

EVERYTHING was great. After here we went to Singapore & stayed at the Sands Marina Bay. They are nothing compared to you guys. Loved staying here & will stay at other Shangri-La places if / when we come across them.

A comfy place, great services. Restaurants, bar and shopping mall just next door. Very convenient place.

Im a frequent visitor at the Island Shangrila. I feel right at home. The Lounge staff are very warm and friendly, specially Theresa, Catrina and Cathy. I had a day when I was unwell and guest services called to check in on me, and offered congee and hot lemon water. I've been staying at the Island Shangrila for three years, and each stay gets better than the next.

The production and service are at least not good. I feel bad.

Great hotel with wonderfu view. Close to HK park where the oasis of office workers in HK and Central. Also directly connected to the admiralty station.

Beautiful hotel with amazing service and views of the harbor. Excellent breakfasts at both venues, nice outdoor pool. Highly recommended. More reasonable than other 5 star hotels in the area.

Our second stay here within the last year....one of the finest 5 Star hotels you will ever stay in. Of course, like all Shangri-la hotels, it has its own fragrance so which ever Shangri-la you visit in the world, they all have the same scent..makes it feel like home but with many more benefits.
We chose to upgrade to the Horizon Club with a room on the 55th floor ..the lounge and Petros restaurant look out to a stunning view of HK harbour....a fabulous moment whilst enjoying your perfectly served breakfast by an outstanding team who will make your stay an absolute dream.
Please don't forget to look after your room maids, the unsung heroes who make your stay a very restfull and very comfortable stay...we will be back on our next visit to Hong Kong....

One of the classic luxurious hotel on Hong Kong island. I have use the business lounge heavily for meetings and The staff there are friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating.

As I am on fasting diet and don't take breakfast until after 1pm, and breakfast is auto bundle to room charge, I asked Cafe Too staff if I can take out some pastry and yogurt for later use. I am a bit turn off when they stuff a small paper bag for all flaky pastries which got all crushed in . A box pack will be nicer. And I can tell she was not impressed by her expression about my take out request.

I stay in many 5-star hotels, and I think providing options for on the go customer is very important. Many of us don't have the time to sit down for a bite.

Located at Exit F of Admiralty Station, the elevator from Pacific Place can reach the hotel, even if it hits the rainy days from the airport to the hotel, it will not rain, very convenient location!
The hotel is a classic luxury style, the quaint design makes people pleasing to the eye, and soon after entering the room, there is a special person to serve hot tea, which makes people feel intimate! Bathing supplies are using L'Occitane, big! The pool on the 8th floor is also very clean, and many people spend a leisurely afternoon here.

Summer palace and lobby lounge lovely. Sweet girl served us at lounge. Even helped us celebrate my friend's birthday. Thank you!!

Our stay at Island Shangri-La was terrific from the time we arrives until our departure. The staff provided excellent service and the meals at Petrus were fabulous.

Our stay with you in Hong Kong was delightful! We enjoyed High Tea upon our arrival, and the Club room was comfortable, offering a good selection of refreshments. We had a beautiful, spacious room with an amazing view! Our only disappointment was that we were unable to stay longer...

Location, staff and facilities all get top marks. The only negative is the comfort of the beds. For a Harbor View room, I would expect a pillow top mattress, or the option to select that type of mattress. That was the only negative and I realize that your Asian clients might prefer the firmer mattress. Special kudos to Tiffany at the concierge desk for her help arranging transport and sightseeing excursions.

Fabulous hotel. Staff in Horizon Club lounge never forgot our name or our drink preferences during our stay. The chandeliers sparkled and so did the hotel!

fantastic service and great location.
Unfortunately I was staying during renovation so I had to escape the room during the day time.
One thing to improve is cleaning quality on Carpet and AC. I am allergic to dust and I had to take a pill during the stay.

My favourite hotel in the world by far. Pure magic, every time!

This hotel has a distinct charm of its own, in many ways more subtle I guess. It's not about individual components as in the rooms and the lobby and the bars but the overall structure in itself even though it's not a heritage precinct. Yes, I may sound a bit confusing here but all I am trying to express is that the experience is greater than the glam sham when it's Shangri-La in central. I loved it even with just two options available for a vegetarian to eat in the entire menu. Worth a stay.

The Island Shangri-La is fantastic with classic deco and room design. It is also recommended for good service and frinedly front desk. The staff Irene impressed me the most with her hospitality and kindness.

The staff and service was excellent, but the rooms were dated and the lifts were an absolute nightmare. For the price charged I was expecting luxury, I got a very dated room, which did not appear to have faired as well as other hotels that i have stayed in (especially the bathroom).

The food is of a good standard and it is good to say hello, but the salted chicken that was booked this time has lost its standard. It seems that there are more fried chickens because there is no salt and smell!

Just want to say Thank you to all of you. My mom really happy when she received her birthday card and cake in to our room. It became her special belated 60's birthday celebration. We will difernetally come back to your hotel. Much much better service than KSL.

Love this places, great location and amazing service. Joan Long gives me the biggest smile when I get there and the staff bend over backwards to make you happy.

The pool and breakfast were outstanding. I had to put in a special request to have the room cooked to 17.5 degrees at night but the request was honored.

Truly an engaging experience at a fantastic hotel. Service was impeccable. Food was fantastic. Although value is not often discussed in this level of hotel, this was a fantastic value for a high-end luxury hotel. Small issue with the plumbing leak was promptly resolved.

Excellent service and great hospitality. Breakfast offer at Petrus is absolutely fantastic. While the hotel is a bit aged, everything is maintained very well. Maybe the aircon is a bit loud.

Cannot fault Island Shangri-La, a magical hotel largely due to the wonderful staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the suite was very nice. Service was excellent and they had every amenity possible. We took advantage of the afternoon tea and some drinks in the horizon club and we enjoyed the staff and the view. Charis was very helpful. My husband wanted to explore around and the concierge took extra time to print out places he should go. Every part of this hotel was perfect from the check in, to the fragrance they have through out the hotel, every employee we came in contact with and our drive to the airport. Top Notch hotel in a great location.

Island Shangri-La hotel for me is home away from home. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Hong Kong. So despite the protest rallies prior to my stay last June 20-23, I still decided to stay at ISL rather than move to another hotel outside Central.
Nicole Tang is the one who looks after my booking and ensures I get my favorite room (Harbour view) on high floor. Juna, Hailey, Rain, Karely, Irene and Nana always ensure I have a very pleasant stay. The lovely people at Cafe Too (May, Charlotte, Katie, & Frankie) and Summer Palace (Joyce, Jenny, Tony and Miu) give me no reason to dine elsewhere!

The staff in this hotel are excellent, especially Bernadette Guevarra who always makes our visits feel so special.

Best service excellence we have received in a very long time.

We enjoyed our stay and will come back on our next trip.

From the minute I was greeted by the limousine driver, the unrivalled Shangri-La experience was well underway. Very professional and the driver displayed excellent driving skills and manners. Car also had wifi. In room Check in with Hailey Chan was seamless. Hailey was very knowledgeable and informative. She gave me a full run down on the hotel facilities and my benefits as a diamond member. She had ample ideas on things to do during my short stay. Always welcoming with a friendly smile on her face, she was clearly a loyal and proud employee of Shangri La. I look forward to returning to the hotel when i am next in Hong Kong. Couldn't fault the room, cleanliness, features and an amazing Harbour View. Overall it was an amazing experience.

We had an executive suite facing the harbour. The room had an on call butter which was pretty cool. The views were amazing from the room as well the lounge and too floor resturant. The food was great, loved the variety at breakfast. Everything was fresh and well prepared

The horizon lounge was great to grab a refreshment any time of the day. The pool was pretty good as well. Loved their health club. My favourite part of it was the Jacuzzi, just what you need after a tiring day of walking all around Hong Kong.

The only disappointment was the the coincerige broke our brand new umbrella that we picked up from the tea museum while staying there. It was the only piece and we didn't realise they broke it till a few hours after we checked out. I would hope that the hotel would be more careful with the guest's belongings.

Steven was extremely helpful. We chanced upon him last Thursday while figuring out some walking directions and he did the most wonderful thing - he not only explained to us the directions but he actually walked with us. With this singular act of kindness, we fell in love with Island Shangrila again.

Offers excellent views of the harbour from Admiralty, next door to Conrad and a stone's throw from Hong Kong Park, the Victoria peak tram station

Great hotel, great service, well located, it could not be better.

An excellent stay, all staff were excellent, Maggie, and the trainee from Japan at reception, gave great advice on the city and the Lobster Bar was excellent for pre and post dinner drinks.

Very pleasant experience. The staff and facilities were top notch. Special mention to Hayden in the Horizon Club Lounge, he was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely attentive and helpful in every regard, and a genuine person at that. I will look back on my experience at Shangri-La with fond memories.

Dining Experience is unprecedented. Favorable restaurants in Island Shangri-la include: Lobby Lounge, Cafe TOO and Restaurant Petrus. Each with its own unique and distinctive flavors. Very warm reception when entering the hotel and a vast and substantiated mall beside it.

I travel a lot and the stay at your hotel was one of the best I have ever experienced. service and excellence in all departments.

Yes a five star hotel but we were there for dim sum in Chinese restaurant. I think it is very good place to eat Chinese food. Great
