Great customer service, both on-line and over the phone. My wheel was shipped out after a rebuild on time from when they told me they would be sending it back! Hopefully, it's better than ever!! I'll add to my review once my wheel is back on my bike and the Power Tap is up and running again!

I own and use a variety of Saris Products daily, and can't say enough great things about the performance of their products AND their top notch customer service. I own a SuperClamp EX 4-bike rack, several wheels with Powertap G3 Hubs (including an HED Jet+ Disc for Time Trials) , and I have a Powertap C1 Chainring on my race bike.

The SuperClamp Rack is bombproof, but surprisingly light considering it holds FOUR bikes. It was easy to install, and I have confidence that my bikes are held securely. The added security feature of integrated cable locks gives me a bit of extra piece of mind when I have to make a quick stop with bikes on the car.

All of my PowerTap G3 hubs perform flawlessly, (as long as I keep the firmware up to date, and don't let my batteries die ;-) ). Updating the firmware is a cinch and even though I have trouble with all things electronic or technology-based, I've never had trouble updating my firmware, as the steps are clear and easy to follow. I can always count on my PMs to give me accurate readings regardless of weather conditions/temperature. The reliability and consistency of my training tools, and ultimately my HED Jet+ Disc wheel with PowerTap Hub powered me to the USAC Master's National TT Championship title this year!

As for their customer service - it absolutely can't be beat. Their customer service staff is knowledgeable about the product, and the few times that I've had to call in with a problem, they've patiently walked me through the steps needed to resolve it (usually due to user error!). The one time that I did have a failure with a product, after troubleshooting it and determining that it was not something that I could fix, they shipped me out a replacement the very next day. You sure can't beat that!

Saris racks are in my opinion one of the best on the market, built strong and very user friendly. They seem to have trunk mount and hitch mounted version with several configuration depending on the size of the family. Well worth the look and worth buying because you won't be disappointed.

Saris Cycling Group makes solid, quality products....

Saris Cycling Group makes solid, quality products. I have used their PowerTap hubs for cycling since 2003...They are reliable and accurate and super easy to use. Their customer service is excellent. I also own one of their hitch bike racks, it's over 10 years old and still going strong. Recently, I purchased a set of the P1 pedals. Another great product from PowerTap. Can highly recommend their products with confidence.

Therefore I need trainers & carriers that are quick & easy to assemble & use! These fit the bill perfectly! Get one! You'll be absolutely pleased!!

The Saris products are the best in the industry. If a rare issue arises, Saris sets the standard for customer service. If there is a problem, they address it and get it resolved very quickly. I never look elsewhere for racks, trainers or power products.

Called about lifetime warranty on 6to7 year old liquid cyclops and wanted to charge me $99 to repair it as it leaks oil all over. I have to also pay shipping to send in . My reply:No thanks I can get a Kurt kinetic new for $239 with a lifetime warranty. Obviously no lifetime warranty on the cyclops trainers and sadly I purchased a cyclops liquid 2 this past weekend. On to another company other than cyclops

Awful customer service experience so far, maybe this will actually get a response. Bought the M2 trainer last Tuesday which was sent out the same day (got a call from someone at Saris to confirm my address) which arrived with a faulty yellow knob (used to tighten the wheel to the trainer)! The knob did not stop as it was supposed to at the right tension and bent/pulled the L bar out of the trainer! After doing a little research MULTIPLE people have had the exact same issue (amazon reviews) with this same trainer. Almost a week after purchasing (very speedy invoicing and shipping) and multiple emails/calls there has been ZERO communication from the company other than a woman I spoke to who couldn t help me for some reason and wouldn t pass the message along to the correct department. You would think, especially in times like this, a company would want to do everything possible to retain customers and protect its brand. Bad customer service (so far) and a really faulty product. I wouldn t recommend buying from them. Hopefully this gets a response.

I did a dumb thing this week. Was not thinking and drove through the car wash with my saris bike rack on the car(hitch mount). It held up pretty well. Thought it was going to be a very expensive mistake. I called Saris and spoke with Lauren. So pleasant and kind. Acted like this was an everyday occurrence. She found the right parts and had in the mail almost immediately. So helpful. I love my bile rack but love it even more now knowing how great their customer service is.

Saris (Cycleops, PowerTap and Saris) is my top choice for Bike trainer, bike rack and power meters. I have 3 trainers, 3 sets of power hub wheels (including a HED disk), P1 pedals and Joule GPS. The quality is best in class. The ease of use and connectivity is best; and their Customer Service is best in class. Absolutely top recommended brand.

I own a Super Magneto Pro, a PowerTap G3, and multiple accessories from Saris Cycling Group (speed/cadence sensors, wheel bags, tshirts, water bottles, etc.) and they have all been of great quality, accuracy and functionality. But what differentiates this brand from most is the customer support. For any problem you may encounter there will always be a solution that requires none to minimal expense from your end. They have re-calibrated my powertap hub at no cost and answered my questions very politely. Thumbs up for this brand that supports USA made products!

Great products made with parts sourced locally and amazing customer service! I've had several of their products over the years and anytime I've had an issue with something, a quick call to a live person in WI and the issue is usually resolved on the first call. Highly recommend their products!

After having my bone 3 bike rack for a week or so, the mold of the rack broke off and dropped my brand new bike into oncoming traffic very nearly causing an accident and scratching my car. This company is not following up for resolution. I would not do business with them!!!

I cant tell people enough how much I love my Bike rack from Saris. I have the Superclamp EX-2. It is so wasy to load and un load, Plus when not in use i dont even know its there. Anyone who has a bike needs some way to transport them and this is the best way I have found. It doesnt damage the bike and it stays compleatly secure. I love it!

I've had my Freedom SuperClamp Spare Tire rack for 2 years and absolutely love it! It is so easy to load! I can take both my mountain bike and road bike with me wherever I travel and still have easy access to the back of my jeep for loading luggage & gear. I also own the Freedom Superclamp 4-bike hitch rack which has been perfect when I've needed to carry my bikes plus those of family & friends. Love the no frame contact design on both!!

Saris did right by me. The tie straps that prevent my bike from swaying have broken off three times. After the first two, Saris made me pay. I complained that i should enjoy the published "Lifetime Warranty". They just shipped me two new straps free of charge. Thanks Saris!

Not happy . Paid over 550 for a single bike tray style for my daughters bike to take to college. First it came with loose hardware I had to tighten . She was gone for about 2 weeks traveling and on the last 10 miles thanks god the tray hardware broke and the tray fell off dropping the bike, a older man saw it happen and had a bungee cord and was able to help her get it held up to get it home. Contacted the online seller who said it was a saris issue. I understand covid deal but no response to email for a week then called ,another week and I got a response sending hardware for me to fix. I did receive it but not everything needed to fix so still waiting. I do like the simple ness of use is the main reason I went with it. They need to make things about 5 times stronger than needed the country s highways and roads are brutal.

Terrible experience. Dishonest customer service.
When I ordered the Hitch bike rack MTR2 (July 11th,2020) Saris website said that the product was in stock. They indicated that during COVID19, the delivery time would be two weeks maximum for in stock products. We waited a month, and every time that we asked customer service they gave us the run around. When they finally sent it, somehow Fedex was given the wrong address. This delayed our delivery two more days as we had to clear up this issue with Saris and Fedex. Arrived with broken parts. Finally ,today August 12th, we have installed the rack. I think this problem could had been avoided with REAL time information about the product, and more honest customer service.
If anyone is thinking of buying a bike rack go for 1Up!

Saris has the worst customer service ever. They told me my repaired Cycleops Hammer trainer was shipping on January 4th. Today, January 10th, I receive an email that it has shipped. Six days later! I spent $1200 on this trainer as a gift for my wife, it broke after six weeks, and they made me pay for shipping to have it repaired. That cost $130!

Don't buy their products.

Since there are no Saris photo's or videos showing bikes (with fenders) on the Superclamp ex2 rack I emailed their customer service and asked how the rack secured an e-bike with fenders. The answer, lifted from their website, said the rack fits almost any bike, including those with fenders. Thanks for the help. Saris.

bought a hammer trainer, worked well until the new app came out and then it all went south. i can't connect to the trainer, can't download the firmware update, nothing. then i find out that i can't download firmware updates via WIN10 with native bluetooth. WHAT?!?!?! we're 17 years into the 21st century and here's a machine that can't communicate with WIN10? obviously this is a company that isn't ready to compete in the real world. and for what passes as customer service, all i get is the run around...send us a screen grab, you should contact the rouvy support team, etc, etc.

I am a very proud owner of a Saris bike rack. My first rack was a Bones 2 Trunk Rack (purchased in 2000). I still have it and I loan it out to new cyclist who don't have a rack. This year I purchased a 2 Bike Hitch rack. I love it! It makes traveling with my bike a lot easier. I also bought the lock kit (for bike and rack). Saris offers racks in all price points, and they don't sacrifice quality in doing so. You can't beat the quality of a Saris rack!

Very disappointed with the customer service. I had a question on the compatibility of the rack with our vehicle. The package does not include info include for recent model years. I asked an employee at Target and he could not answer the question. I sent an email to Saris as they are not allowing you to leave a voice mail message with the Saris customer dept. I received an email saying they received my email and have had no other correspondence since. I sent two follow up emails and no response. I bought the rack as part of a mother's day present for my wife. Have not used it. I think I will have to return it and look will for a company that values and embraces customer service.

June 22 tried to call during business hours. Sat on hold for over an hour, no on picked up.

June 22 Sent an email to check to see if shipping times were correct since web site stated 10-14 days.

June 24 when I had not received a response I placed the order to make sure that it was going to be to me in time to go on vacation at the end of July.

July 6th sent a Facebook message inquiring about my order since I had noticed that the charge had dropped from my credit card. Received a message a few hours later that it dropped off because it was a temp charge. "as far as your order is concerned, it looks like the order is set up to ship on 7/9/20 which is the 12th business day since your order date" promised shipping info would be sent as soon as it shipped

July 7th received an email back from my June 22 (10 business days later) email stating that " the estimated ship date is 7-9-20 which is the 12 business day"

July 10th Sent Facebook message because I had not see the charge on my card or shipping information.

July 13th received reply from July 10th message "Unfortunately it was delayed but the item is being processed. The team usually gets things out the door within 2 or 3 business days once it is being processed so that hopefully should leave our facility sometime this week."

July 13th sent Facebook message about my disappointment in the delays and the lack of forward contact (i had to ask for updates, not them telling me about delays). Especially frustrating because they had confirmed shipping date twice.

July 14th received a reply. "doing our best" blah blah blah " with only so many hands and thousands of orders" blah blah blah shipping still showing as 7/9 "sorry that's all the information I have"

July 15th credit card charged

July 20th sent a Facebook message stating that my card was charged but I had not seen tracking information.

July 21st received a response. "That order has unfortunately not shipped out at this time" "I believe the charge was a re-authorization to ensure the card # or expiration has not changed since entered" "My shipping manager notified me that the estimated ship date is 7/28/2020 which is next Tuesday. She is waiting on paint supplies but believes there are enough coming in this weekend to complete your rack"

SuperClamp EX 4-Bike rack that I ordered shows as in stock and "Available to ship in 10-14 business days." Which is deceitful. They are not in stock. I am on business day 19 and it might ship by business day 23.

You have my contact information. I would fully expect a phone call from a manager to discuss how this is going to be rectified and there should be some kind of discount due to the lack of communication and delays.

Very disappointed with the follow-up on this. If they don't care about taking care of customer issues, just say so!

I guess like the other reviews the only way to get a response is to post here. Somehow you can respond to a bad review but not a customer whose placed an order with you over 10 days ago. Mind you, I placed my order without ever have my support question answered. That email was 4 weeks ago. Thank you to Etrailer for answering my question. I don't know how COVID19 prevents you from communicating with your customers??!!!

Truly exceptional products and customer service to match. I have been a Saris customer for a number of years and own several products, including a number of power meters, a rack and a trainer. All are bombproof and their performance makes them best in class. When service does need to be performed (as is the case time to time with power meters) their customer service makes the process effortless and the turnaround is superb. I can highly recommend all of their products.

I recently ordered a replacement part for my indoor cycling trainer. The part should have been under warranty and replaced at no charge, but instead I was told over the phone that the part would cost $40. I agreed to pay $40. The part arrived approximately 1 week later and when I received my credit card statement, I was actually charged $84. I called Saris, and the customer service rep I spoke to told me that the shipping charge was $44. Granted, I live in Hawaii, but the part was small and would have easily fit in a USPS Priority Mail box for $5.95. The representative refused to accommodate my request for at least a partial shipping credit even though I did not authorize to pay anything above $40. Worst. Customer Service. Ever.

I am so disappointed in this company. I have a Cyclops 400 Pro indoor cycle which is no longer supported by Saris. Although it never worked that great, the bike does not function at all without the discontinued Joule 3.0 (mine was lost in a move). Saris has provided me with no clear alternative other than "check Amazon or E-bay", or try to find alternative technology at Apple or Best Buy. Very frustrating to say the least. Apparently they've realized they aren't very good at indoor cycles as I learned today they are no longer making them. Although they seem to have some available on their website, I won't be buying my next indoor cycle or any other equipment from a company that doesn't support what they sell.

UPDATE 6/2018: I have been in touch with Saris since my post and it seems that they do in fact want to help me find a solve. Will advise when and if the solution works.

Saris comes to mind when I think of products that I can buy and rely on. I've had the same Bones rack for a decade, and it's still proudly doing it's job. Couple that with them being such a cool company anyhow...and you've got a winner. Five stars at least.

I purchased a Saris Freedom Superclamp about one year ago. In the mean time, I purchased a Trek Farley fat bike. I thought I had a problem, due to the size of the tires, but Saris had a solution. They make fat tire wheel holders. They work great, and they have a grove down the center so that I can still load my road bike in the same wheel tray.

This is as good as it gets. I spend my winters and interval training days on a trainer from Saris' CycleOps brand and I have a power meter from Saris's power meter brand (PowerTap) on my bike at all times to keep me honest. Both are absolutely amazing and have proven themselves to be wonderfully reliable. Pair that with the fact that everything from Saris is designed, made and even largely sourced in America? You really can't ask for much more.

I placed an order June 1. At the time the website says that orders delayed 7-10 days. No problem, I understand things are bit disrupted. Repeated followup attempts. The last call was a circular conversation trying to placate me without any information. They send me review request for products I still haven't received. I would just like to know if the order will ever ship. A little transparency as to the true shipping dates and status would be nice. Your customers will appreciate you more if you communicated honestly about issues you are facing in filling orders, most will be forgiving in these trying times.

I was so excited to be able to support Madison, and American company when I bought my hitch mounted bike rack. It was so much lighter than anything I ever found. However, the design and quality of the product are so bad I through it out into my front lawn hoping someone would take it. Free bike rack. 3 days later nobody has taken it. I wasted so much money on this product and has only caused pain. My Yakima bike rack is heavier but has never disappointed me once.

Their customer service department is one of the best in the industry! They also source most of their raw materials in a small radius from Madison WI where they build their amazing products with employees from the area keeping the brands roots Made In the USA! Saris Cycling Group is a front runner in the Cycling Industry!

Bad customer service or should I say NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered a bike rack over 6 weeks ago and have no idea when and if it is being shipped. They were quick to charge my credit card but did not deliver my product or contact me. I sent several emails and all I get is a general automated response. I understand Covid effected delivery times but what is the excuse for not getting back to you.

I recently received the cadence sensor and I love it. It is small and light and easily placed on my crank. While I use it on the road I mainly use it when I am riding the trainer so I can do cadence intervals. I used to just do them with my power meter but this is so much more accurate. It is so much easier to maintain a steady cadence rather than constantly adjust to bad numbers.

Absolutely horrible customer service.
I ordered a new part on 6/7/2020 and immediately received an email confirming my order. It also stated I would receive another email when my part shipped.
On 6/14/2020, I still had not received any confirmation on shipment and I emailed customer service. I immediately received an auto email that a representative would be addressing my concern.
Low and behold, it it 6/22/2020 and I have yet to receive any update on my order or any response to my inquiry.
Saris has not in the least tried to reach out and addressed any of this, although I m sure they will respond to this review that they have.
They have $125 of my hard earned money and will not even respond to a simple email. This is completely unprofessional and piss poor business. Fifteen days and no responses is a damn shame.

Ordered the Bones EX 3-Bike rack and took a while to get due to the pandemic but every person I talked to at customer service was helpful.
the 5 stars is not just for the customer service but mainly for the actual rack
is fantastic. sits perfectly on my car and the bikes are always safe.

THIS PRODUCT IS GARBAGE!!! If I could give you a minus 10 I would!!!
Don't buy this product if you have any interest in RVing because it can't handle ANY vibration. I had a top of the line bike rack that broke off with 2 road bikes weighing less than 25lbs on it. LITERALLY BROKE OFF LIKE IT WAS CHEAP PLASTIC. After the fact, I found Saris states this in the "fine print" but the Dealers don't because they need sales! If Saris was a legitimate company they would have clearly stated it on any packages for consumers SAFETY!!!
There ARE competitors product at the same price points that are built well and can handle anything you put it through!! Saris is just cutting corners and making terrible products at large price points!!!

Great customer service from Lauren! I left a VM, and my call was returned in about 30 minutes. She knew exactly what I needed, set me up, emailed everything to me, even waived the shipping fee! All I had to do was fill out the order and place it - so easy! Great experience and a product that I really like.
