This hotel is the dream of dreams!

This hotel is the dream of dreams!
From the first second, we were taken care of personally (Antoine). The waiter (Randolph) learned that I had my birthday and started a "happy birthday" like a musical star. It was extremely touching! We got in touch with him through his attention and smile. I have never experienced anything like it! From Monique of the pool bar we got the most delicious cocktails. And in the evening at the hotel bar was such a great atmosphere with the pianists. We got into conversation with so many hotel guests. The rooms are clean, big and with a big minibar. We did not make it. The little hummingbird in front of our balcony showed us every day his good mood in this national park-like atmosphere. I have no words for a Sandals! A sandal is the benchmark for the resort hotel series! Please open a hotel in Asia next year!
Thanks to all unnamed Sandals in the Bahamas!

It s always great to be greeted by Club Manager Sa...

It s always great to be greeted by Club Manager Sandra. We had somewhat hoped to move into the Villas because they offer ceiling fans. Sandra and Jasmine hooked us up with a standing fan and that worked just as well.
As for our room, we tried three different times to secure an extra pillow over the course of multiple days. We finally caught someone in the hallway delivering pillows and took those. We also called room service for a cheese platter on our first night there. We receive a phone call about an hour later saying it was on its way. Another hour later, we finally hung out the do not disturb sign and went to bed.
Beverly in the Loyalty Department was very helpful in explaining some new procedures within their Loyalty programs. It was enough for us to decide to try the on-site booking again. Here s hoping that the ability to transfer our stay to a local travel agent for final arrangements really works!
My thoughts about the room itself are likely colored by the fact we spent the first and last nights on the island at the Holiday Inn Express. I m betting that Sandals considers itself a step up from there. But, they had TV channels that actually worked. If IHG can figure out how to let my husband watch football and provide me with movie options while I m in Nassau, I would think Sandals could as well. Ditto for the internet service.
We were happy to see Momo there from Snapshots. We prefer her for our photo session, because she is willing to think outside the norm.
Along those lines whomever added the bug spray dispenser to the resort pier is a genius. Now, can we be greedy and ask for several of those to be placed around the island?

We were thrilled to see that Arizona had been promoted to a manager at Spices. She always steps up to fill voids that she sees. I just think there were too many voids and not enough people.
We really missed seeing Fluffy, and his special reserve, in the piano bar. This year we were able to interact more with Sophia. For the record, she makes the best Buttery Nipple of any of the resort s bartenders.
As for the dive team, we are thrilled they are still there. That crew provides a service to us all year long. They provide advice when we re looking at equipment and just generally keep in touch. I really would feel like I was cheating on them if I ever went to another resort. It was great to get to know Leslie and Capt. Naren better this year. We look forward to seeing him and Capt. Hall pilot their new boat next year. Capt. Hall is always great about helping us learn more about the ocean and weather. He s also pretty handy helping me get back into the boat!
But, for us, the whole trip really comes down to Wenzel, Nelson, Sammy, Sonny, Ramon, Brian and Damien. Those guys literally keep us alive. We re putt-putt divers, and these guys keep us safe. They take a lot of flak from people us included. The weather was not their friend this year, but they just took it all in stride even though it meant much more work for them. We had our own personal struggles this year fighting a cold and getting our ears to clear. They were incredibly patient with us, so we were still able to have a great experience. Alfred has done a great job of keeping this team together and working as a group. I m really looking forward to seeing how things evolve under his leadership.

My wife and I stayed for three nights in the Balmoral oceanview grandluxe - OB suite. We were picked up in the airport without any issues. Had to wait for about 15 minutes while we were waiting for another group. On arrival in the resort, Champagne and cold face cloth were served. The registration process took about 20 minutes and we were escorted to the room. Deep in my mind, I was worried about selecting this resort because of various negative reviews here. When we arrived in the room, my worry seemed real because of two issues. I could smell pee as soon as I entered and there was no alcohol (only soft drinks were in stock) in the room. Also, I informed the staff in advance that we were celebrating anniversary and that it would be nice to arrange something special in the room. Christina explained that the suite I booked does not have the option of alcohol in the room. She also apologized for lack of any decoration for the anniversary. After a few minutes delay, we were taken to another room in a higher floor which was perfect. Christina personally arranged beer in the room and by evening, the room was decorated nicely for our anniversary with a nice bottle of California Pinot Noir as well and chocolate covered strawberries. Gerard, the manager, personally took care of the entire situation and we appreciated this very much.

We enjoyed the different restaurants, option to go snorkeling twice a day and the fire place set up in the evenings. We were surprised one evening with a Rolls Royce ride to the Bahamar casino. Thanks Gerard. That was truly special. Naren was another person that took special care of us on the snorkeling trip by personally escorting us in the waters to see special areas under the water.

Of all the restaurants, we particularly enjoyed the Kimonos (need prior reservation) and Gordons. We did not eat at Baccarat. Schooners in the private island was a disappointment. Overall, we enjoyed our trip very much and we will be back.

First time at Sandles, went with another couple that went to sandles in Jamaica. Disappointed to say the least, we are travelers and they are not a 5 star resort. Can you go anywhere and find a complaint? Sure , but to be a 5 star resort and have 3 star issues is wrong,
The pools were freezing cold all but one day out of 6, also very dirty.
Room keys stopped working 3 times ,
Refrigerator stopped working 2 times .
Made reservations at Japanese restaurant on Monday couldn't get in till 9pm and when we got there they said we weren't on the list , after calling the manager and friends loosing there minds we did get in , what I didn't understand when we walked in there where 4 tables/cooking stations empty.

Went to orientation Monday morning when we were told to and no one was there , which screwed our whole week up for planning and knowing what to do,

There really isn't much night time entertainment, piano bar was nice , had a live dj , and saxophonist but no shows of any sorts .
Really don't think I'll be going back!

Food was pretty good , but menus didn't have too much on them , lots of burgers on most menus .

Sandals was an amazing experience. The Nassau location was especially fun because they have a private island off the shore. The island had many fun items as well as many private little spots to hang out. They also had these little cute beach crabs on the island as well. There was excellent food and the staff is incredible. The views from the rooms were all excellent.

This was a 7 day vacation, 1st ever. And it was our 30th wedding anniversary. We kind of went over the top with a butler suite. All 3 butlers where fantastic! Nichola, Denver and DeAnndrea they where over the top. We where given a phone so we could be in contact with them for any needs. The food was awesome at all the restaurants. The waiters all where great, especially Marcian at Gordens really enjoyed talking to him. We also did the dinner by the beach, Owen did a wonderful job also. The dive instructors where fanstic, Sam and Sone. Sone dove with us and took great videos and pictures of us. The guys on the boat where also great. The only down side was, that I thought paying for the resort class that we would be able to dive more than once. All the guys in the shop wanted to do is sale us another class for 200 a piece and who wants to do home work on vacation. And when I question them about another dive they said only if they had an extra instructor. And of course the didn't. Disappointed, would had liked one more dive.

Everything was great except for our return trip home. Sandals booked us on the cheapest and latest flight they could find, We had to stay in the airport for 10 hours. our ticket was so cheap we couldn't fly standby on earlier flights. Advice don't let Sandals book your travel.

My husband and I just visited the Royal Bahamian f...

My husband and I just visited the Royal Bahamian for our "babymoon", and it was unfortunately a terrible experience. The worst part of the trip was the theft from our room safe. A diamond cross necklace was stolen from the in room safe. The hotel management essentially accused us of lying. When we demanded an investigation, the hotel never followed up with us. We had to chase around management after 36 hours of not getting a response. Again, we were not taken seriously. We asked that the police be called so we could make a proper theft report since the hotel was not being accommodating at all. After doing some online research, it became obvious we were not the first victims to have a theft from our room safe.

In addition, we were not able to use our balcony all week. This was apparently the time chosen to repaint the outside of the resort. There were painters on our balcony everyday and the fumes were obnoxious (not great for a pregnant lady). We called the concierge desk on more than one occasion to ask that the painting be postponed until after we leave, but the call went unanswered. After letting the phone ring for over a minute with no one answering, we gave up.

Lastly, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon and apparently that is too late to make reservations for the week. We were either not able to get reservations at all, or we had to wait until 930p for a table. Once we were finally able to have dinner, we were very disappointed with the quality of food. We actually walked across the street to get a Dominos pizza just so we could have a decent dinner.

Given the cost of the vacation, I expected the rooms to be safe without having to worry about theft from our safe. The way the theft was handled was very inappropriate and disappointing. Aside from offending us, they did absolutely nothing to resolve our complaint. The lack of service and poor quality of food was not acceptable. Needless to say, we will never return to a Sandals again. Spend your money somewhere else!

We were married at SRB on 6/15/19 and everything exceeded our expectations. Dealing with the phone planners prior to arriving was very frustrating due to lack of responsiveness and knowledge. Once we met with the on site wedding planner, my worries were eliminated. They made it easy from selection of location to cake and decor. All done in less than 1 hour (including last minute spa session).
We had a welcome celebration that I combined with the rum and game night offered. Amazing sit down dinner with 13 of our family and friends. My son had recorded music and we rented a speaker for during dinner. Shanun was our host for rum and game and we had karaoke and dancing. He did a phenomenal job with entertainment and I haven't laughed that hard in years. Shanun actually attended our wedding and took pictures for the group. Special employee that Sandals has with Shanun.
While it rained the wedding day, we had a fabulous indoor location and still were able to have dinner outside in a covered area. Opted for the steel pan drum during cocktail hour and followed dinner with cigar bar. After the festivities, we were escorted back to our room and found a bottle of champagne, balloons, bed decorations and snacks. More than what I would have expected and beautifully done.
Butler service was more attentive then recently received at Secrets. Dinner reservations, special requests, pool service were all handled without a hitch. Shout out to Rohan (hope I spelled correctly) who was the butler most frequently in attendance during our stay. He even helped with dinner reservations that another butler couple could not secure.
The staff at this resort certainly made the difference for us during our wedding celebration.

This was out second year in a row to visit this Sandals resort. We were a little disappointed as the level of service seemed to have slipped from last year. Our last night there, we had to ask twice to get our room cleaned before we went to bed. Also, they were terrible about restocking our room with waters, coffee, etc. We will more than likely not visit this resort again.

My wife and I went on our honeymoon in late June at Sandals Royal Bahamian and it was absolutely perfect. We booked a butler swim up honeymoon suite which was remarkable! Our great experience started at the airport, where we got picked up by Marky Mark! He was funny, energetic and very knowledgeable about the island. He made us feel right at home while we were going to the resort. We were lucky and actually had 3 butlers that took care of us (Dan, Kevin and Adryn). We met Dan on the first day while we were waiting for our room and while he wasnt "assigned" to us, he still made it a point to speak to us when he saw us and ask us how everything was. Kevin and Adryn were AMAZING! Every restaurant we ate at was delicious, breakfast/lunch/dinner, although both the Crystal Room and Baccarat were a step ahead of the others. Marcian was our favorite server and we were lucky enough to get him at a few different restaurants! Erika is THE BEST BARTENDER! She works on the pier and makes the best drinks! I dont understand why people have any complaints about this establishment. I could go on and on about how amazing it is. If you are considering booking a trip, quit thinking about and just do it. You wont regret it!

It wasn't worth the cost we paid. The check-in procedure was lame and took over an hour! The supposed 10 restaurants are not what they describe. One of them, Gordon's on the pier costs an additional $140. The american grill closes at 11 am, there are 3 you have to have reservations for and good luck getting a good time slot for those. We ate at 9pm every night with servers who don't get tips so they're not very friendly. The italian restaurant is very beautiful setting but the food was awful. Spices, the bahamian restaurant was same way. The other "restaurant" is a pizza place that closes early and takes 30 mins to make a mini pizza. The food at this resort is not very good at all. I will challenge anyone in the country of USA to make a worse sup of coffee than this resort. You couldn't do it if you tried. It was the most awful tasting coffee we've ever encountered. The breakfasts were terrible unless you enjoy fruit and even then it was just average fruit. You can get better fruit at your local grocery store. The beaches are small and believe it or not you can "reserve" a beach chair/lounge chair. Most people do it but never show up and the chairs sit empty a majority of the time. They never tell you this in their brochure or at any time during your stay. The offshore island is very cool and was our favorite but it closes at 5:50 even though the sun doesn't set for another 3 hours. This resort is a grand example of socialism at it's finest. You pay up front so servers and employees get no tips so they're unmotivated to provide the best service. The food is awful but since you've already paid you can't complain to the manager or get your money back. We signed up a month in advance for the "dinner on the beach" with white glove individual service (for an additional $170) and got bumped from our prime time spot of 7pm to a 9pm slot. The "free drinks" are watered down and served in small cups causing you to return to the bar continually. They won't come onto the beach and ask for drinks because there's no incentive in it for them. To sum it up, it was a beautiful place but we will not return. There are too many places you can spend your money and have a better time.

Review for wedding and stay:

Review for wedding and stay:

In the Bahamas right now by the pool enjoying my after wedding bliss! We highly recommend LATORA as your wedding consultant if you re coming here to get married. She s been absolutely wonderful for us and really heard us when we told her we wanted a low key wedding.

If you want to do photos you can, but that service isn t free and it really shouldn t be since the photographer is professional and the photos were worth more than what we paid for. Honestly, they were some of the best photos we have seen and Travis was so friendly.
The rest of our cake was in our room when we returned with a bottle of champagne and a bunch of little gifts. LATORA reserved us a candle light dinner (extra but it s also our honeymoon so duh). She reserved our breakfast in bed and my husbands foot massage- both included.
Honestly, this was one of the best experiences of my life. I m writing this at the pool as I lie on a reserved bed next to my sleeping husband. We will be recommending the Royal Bahamian and Latora to everyone who will listen. If you re looking for a mostly stress free wedding - ask for latora when you get here. And remember, it s not the end of the world. It s one day, and hopefully you get to marry your best friend. Thanks to Sandals, I married the man of my dreams in paradise with no stress. Thanks, sandals!

All inclusive resort in Nassau. Great service from the staff, be it the restaurant waiters, hotel lobby staff or pool side entertainment staff. We stayed in the tower, hotel room was very nice and seemed recently renovated. This location also has a semi private island, a few minutes ferry ride away also included in the overnight price. In terms of pools, there are two main ones, a more quiet one and a "party" one with a DJ and entertainment staff. Both pools have a swim up bar where you can order drinks all day. Drinks were great and you can order classics, or off their tropical or frozen cocktails menu. Overall had a lot of fun and would recommend.

**please note this is a review of the Day Pass pro...

**please note this is a review of the Day Pass process only as we did not get to experience the resort itself. To start off with, we came in on a cruise ship to relax in an adult only environment and enjoy the resort. We called about a month in advance to pre-purchase tickets but were advised we could only purchase the day of at the resort as long as there was availability and that the cost was $115 as stated on the resort website (under the FAQ). So we arrived at the front gate in the morning only to be stopped by security who told us day passes were not available. We said we called and were told otherwise. After about 30 min of back and forth with security, they finally agreed to call the front desk to verify. The front desk told them yes, day passes are available. Finally we arrived at the front desk ready to purchase only to be told by the two young ladies working there that passes are $200 dollars per person. We attempted to correct them, showed them the website info which clearly states $115. The staff then proceeded to tell us that the rates have "gone up" but website has not been updated. Hmm...this seems odd for a five star resort not to update their MAIN website used for booking in over a month?!!! Not to mention the almost 100% mark up... Regardless they should honor the advertised rate since no one told us about the price change in advance nor was it documented anywhere but no, they could not adjust the price and supposedly there was no manager on duty since it was a Sunday. Now at this point we only had 3 hours before we had to return to the ship and at $200 per person that seemed a bit steep. All I have to say is that I have never felt so unwelcomed and discriminated against in my whole entire life and we have travelled to many different resorts and hotels. I honestly cannot believe a resort of this caliber would treat any potential customer this way. Maybe there needs to be better communication between management and employees regarding changes? I'm not sure what's going on over there. Also more empowerment and motivation as they did not seem to care about our situation one way or another. Our day was completely ruined as there was no time to do much else after this. We were all so excited to check out the property and come back in the future for an extended stay but now, not so sure. We notified customer service who is "looking into this." I definitely expected better from a high-class business.

Our first time at a Sandals resort. Week of May 18...

Our first time at a Sandals resort. Week of May 18, 2016. Very disappointed. Purchased the Club level as this was supposed to give extra perks. For a resort that says luxury is included and boasts about premium liquor, its a joke! Do they have premium liquor, yes, one or two bottles and when its gone its gone. When the one bottle of Bombay Sapphire is gone, everyone runs to the next bar before they run out. Going to the island? Don't expect the bar to open before 12 (supposed to be 1130) and don't expect premium liquor. Our extra money for club bought us nothing here. We didn't have robes in our room, room service ran an hour or more late, and we did not get preferential treatment at check in.

Don't even think about booking a reservation at one of the restaurants. You won't get in unless you have butler service! We asked about Gordon's on a Wednesday and was told we would get a call and were on a waiting list...for three days. Never received a call. When we asked about it, they said we could go at 6:00 pm. There were at least 5 tables empty at 6 and when we left at 7:30, there were still empty tables!!! Oh and BTW, dress code doesn't apply. We were all snazzied up and people were there in shorts and t-shirts!

I talked to people while waiting for our luggage on the US side and they said they were told they couldn't get a reservation the entire 4 days they were there and had to go off site to eat. That's pathetic.

Bottom line at this particular resort -- 90% of the staff act like they don't want to be there. Entertainment is non existent. You won't get a drink at the swim up bar unless you get out and go to the walk up side. If you don't get the butler service, you won't get into a restaurant. If you like premium liquor, there may not be any in your location. If you're hungry after the restaurants are closed, tough luck, nothing, not even a pizza is available! If you don't like to be told areas are off limits due to a wedding or wedding reception, you won't be happy.

The water in the Bahamas is absolutely beautiful!!!! If you go, stay somewhere else.

I have just returned from Royal Bahamas resort in Naussa.
I would like to call out the staff that went "above and beyond" my expectations.

In the mornings we were the first ones on the beach and when we found our spot to camp out. "Ford" came over and set up our (2) flip tents. This was really nice of him as I was have trouble doing it for the first time.

At breakfast time we went to Casanova. Every morning Shantieker had a smiling face and was more than happy to take my omelette order. The omelette was made to perfection and I enjoyed talking to her each morning.

During the day when we were thristy we went to the bar. The best bar on the grounds was in the theater, the bartender named "Deran" was extremely friendly, always smiling and like to laugh. After a day or so Deran remembered my order (4 strawberry daiquiris). All I had to do is make eye contact and show four fingers...lol. then the drinks were in the making.

In our room our bed was made in the morning and turned down at night. This was a really nice touch from our maid Andrea was very respectful of our personal stuff, thank you.

We spend alot of time in the Loyalty office. The first person that I met was Allanya and she asked how my stay was, I told her that the bed was to hard and I didn't get a good night sleep. She replied with "no problem, we have foam topers for the bed, let me call housekeeping on your behalf". This conversation took place at 945pm and by the time we went to our room to turn in and housekeeping was already installing the "topper". The fast execution regarding this matter was excellent. Allanya should get 5 stars in my book.

Finally Beverly from the Loyalty office made myself and my guests feel really special, it must be the Jamaican charm that she has brought to her work environment and she would be one of the main reasons alone with everyone mentioned above I will rebook at Royal Bahamas resort in Naussa again.

Thanks for listening.

Vacation @ the resort was from 8/27/15 thru 8/31/15.

Dive shop was great. The people are VERY nice and if you ask for something, they try to get it for you. The room was nice and the beach and private island are fantastic. The service was generally very good, with only one exception we can think of.

We didn't like the food. Generally, it was very unremarkable. Don't even think of getting into those restaurants that you have to make reservations for. We called as soon as we got there and everything was booked through Saturday. They weren't taking for reservations for Sunday until the next morning and told me to call back. I did - as soon as we got back from our dives - they'd already booked up! How frustrating! Definitely not as advertised.

They also had no organized activities. We went to a Couples resort and we're having fun with their organized activities every day. Sandals didn't even have any sort of tours of the Island. You won't see anything but the resort unless you go out in your own. It was a bit frustrating, but on the flipside, it forced us to relax and read some books. We really would have liked to have learned something about the history of the island.

Generally, this Sandals ranks just "okay" overall.

If you are a diver, the dive operator is great! The boat is roomy and dive masters are awesome. The reef system is very healthy and the dive sites we saw were beautiful. We plan to go diving in the Bahamas again and will stay at more of a dive resort or hotel close to a dive operator and handle our own entertainment at probably much less expense than Sandals.

We got the feeling they may be having financial difficulty. The resort is NOT as they advertise and absolutely done on a budget. For their prices, it should be first class.

This is our second Sandal's experience and like the first time we really enjoyed it. This resort is a lot smaller compared to La Toc - St. Lucia, but I thought the property is very well kept and our ocean front room was very cute.
The reason why I didn't give this resort 5 stars are that the extremely high air condition in the majority of restaurants, particularly at Baccarat. Second, I wish that they offered a healthier variety of foods and drinks. It's nice to be in an all inclusive resort but it's hard not to put on weight in these places.
Having said that the Grouper and the lobster tails are always excellent.
The ocean is turquoise as it can be and scuba diving and snorkeling were very enjoyable.

If I could give a negative star I would. The water is absolutely breath taking. And the views are amazing. As far as customer service- absolutely terrible. I had $100 stolen, Ray bands sunglasses, and a bathing suit. This was all in my room. The people working at the resort was not helpful or welcoming in any way. I have been out of the county numerous time and have never ever been so discouraged and felt so unwelcomed. They also charged my card on file two times ($1000) as well as charging me another $915 after checkout. They then told me that the other charges would get refunded within 15 days of the checkout. I am extremely disappointed in this resort.

Completely not worth the price! Sure, the rooms are nice and the food is good, but what you pay is not even close to all the other things you'd expect: 1) Rarely were there towels available at the pool, 2) Most staff were not friendly at all (witht he exception of the Japanese steakhouse and Engligh Pub) and in no rush to help, 3) reservations are reserved by those higher priced rooms with butlers - whether they use them or not, 4) chairs saved all day for those same guests - whether they use them or not.

Basically, you are a 2nd rate guest there if oyu aren't in one of their higher end rooms.

Very disappointed with Sandals Resorts handling of the COVID-19 situation. Had a trip planned for this month and had still planned on going up until the resorts were closed. Received a call asking for a date we would like to reschedule to and I asked to speak to a manager so I could discuss options about getting a refund and was told I would receive a call within 72 hours. Never received a call. Called back a week later and again asked to speak to a manager. Was told I would receive a call within 24 hours. Never received a call. Finally called again and gave dates to re-schedule because I had no other choice. Have no idea if I will even be able to go for the dates I gave. Basically, the resort is keeping my money and it is my problem if I can't make the new dates work it seems. The planned trip will be my first and last time I visit a Sandals resort. And I will also recommend to everyone I know to never visit one of these resorts. I was able to receive refunds from my airline (even though the tickets were non-refundable). So they now have a customer for life. Sandals has lost a customer for life. And I do hope that I sway others to never visit one of their resorts.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. Staff is RUDE. You, the guest are an inconvenience. We got here early. Our room was not available for us until AFTER CHECK IN. Front desk staff are like robots. Sitting there for an hour I heard the same b.s. excuse with multiple guests. Food sucks. Go down the road to a newer resort.
We've been here over 24 hours and the bar is supposed to be stocked with your choice of alcohol, everyday. Still waiting for what should have been here yesterday and the same b.s. excuse I've heard every time I've called. The witnessed a bartender have water in with ice. Put his hand over the top and flipped cup to drain ice.

Now I'm waiting on a blow dryer that works.

UNBELIEVABLE. SO FRUSTRATING. NO ONE CARES. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Did I say NO ONE THAT WORKS HERE CARES?

Update: 1045 PM and have been told 3 times today they were making their rounds to restock fridges.

We stayed at Atlantis two years ago and then stayed at Sandals Royal Bahamian a few months ago. The service and experience at Sandals was better. Plus, Sandals is for adults only -- no screaming kids!

We had a fabulous stay. Our room in the Balmoral Tower was nice. View great. Service, was friendly and attentive and food was great, except for Casanovas. The private island was gorgeous and relaxing. Highly recommend. We've been to 3 Sandals and 2 Beaches. Sandals Royal Bahamian does not disappoint.

Very nice place! Excellent staff. Restaurants had some amazing food choices. The buffets could have been more diverse. The Buffett food was very basic and bland. Not a lot of Bahemian option foods at the buffets. Breakfast buffet was basic, nothing exciting. Rest if the place was amazing. I highly recommend checking out the view from.the gym. Entertainment staff was fun.

We just got back from our daughters wedding that was held there. It was 6 beautiful days. The wedding planners did great. Wedding was beautiful. The extra days to relax were wonderful. The staff was super friendly, though bar tenders seemed a little overwhelmed. Beaches were pretty. Food was good. We will definitely be back.

Never again. Had such high expectations of this place from reviews and the fact that it was pricey and I could not have been more disappointed. Majority of the staff were not friendly. In fact, it appeared as if they were being bothered. The place was near capacity which made it difficult to get reservations to the restaurants that required a reservation; however, when we were in the restaurant, there were empty tables that could have easily accommodated additional guests. Multiple times, the bars ran out of liquor by the end of the night. While at the theatre for the night time DJ, the employees began cleaning with strong cleaning solutions and no ventilation with guests still being there.

This resort needs an overall facelift. It is outdated and needs everything from new carpet to new tiles in the pool. Poor customer service was the most disappointing overall for me. I have been to other Sandals locations and this resort doesn't represent Sandals or a 5 star property by any means. Its was also overpriced!

Desario & Preston are the best bartenders on the island! The service of the Hostess at Spices was abysmal and she was very mean/aggressive. The catamaran tour was excellent. The pools/hot tubs could have been cleaned more and take off the top scum.

My only other wish was that servers/waitresses come to you at the pool or in the poolside chairs for drinks or food rather than you getting up and walking to a crowded bar every time to even get some water.

Bahamas was absolutely stunning. We were a bit disappointed with the rooms Sandles had amazing pictures but the rooms were dated- we purchased the Honeymoon Swim up- where the pool was always dirty- saw floating food while swimming in our private Windsor area. We lacked privacy and heard construction during the week. Having a Butler was a new experience and at times felt we were bothersome and TOTALLY recommend making reservations with the restaurants as there were many we didn't get to taste due to availability to experience. You can always order room service we were looking for the ambiance and companionship. Talk to your fellow Sandles participates while there- they are very helpful on guiding you and providing tips to make your trip more successful. I would try it again- just not the room we initially picked. Heard other Sandle Resorts were more updated and found paying more didn't mean getting the better experience.

Just got back from vacation at this resort and my wife and I had a very relaxing time. The only con I had was the room wasn't quite what we were expecting after looking at the pictures when we booked. We asked about switching but they didn't have any other rooms available.

**AVOID**This place has terrible service. It's shameful how you can spend $$$$ for a luxury experience and instead feel like you are burden.

My wife and I went there to celebrate our honeymoon. It missed the mark... By the second night, we were considering leaving and staying at the Baha Mar. The service here was an absolute joke. It's hard to figure out where to begin. We did the Club Level. We were greeted by someone that said she was going to make sure we had an excellent honeymoon. It was a lovely greeting; however, when we saw her again two hours later, she had no idea who we were. And she sure made it difficult to get us dinner reservations. OK, that happens.

Later on we are eating at one of the cafes for an all inclusive meal, we got a few drinks while we stayed dry. We asked for more drinks, and the server said she couldn't get them for us because it was raining. I asked what the rain had to do with it because we were given a first round, and she said the other server must have been OK with getting wet. She was not getting wet for her job. Therefore, we weren't getting the drinks that we paid for with the all inclusive package.

I could write more and more... but the bottom line, this place is trash. Stay at the Baha Mar or the Meila for less money. I don't know if you will get bad service, but you'll at least won't pay nearly as much.

Loved my stay here this past week! Already booked another trip for next winter. The management and staff are so helpful and sweet, Sandals is really unlike any other place. Food is lovely, property is well kept, and there are plenty of activities and entertainment. Favorite part is the off shore island.....beautiful!!!!

Service was terrible. Employees seemed more interested in talking to each other than even acknowledging guests presence. Most scheduled events (like orientation and other group activities) either started late or never happened at all. Because we didn't have an orientation (or even a map) we had no idea what we were doing, and had to kind of learn as we went. Room was clean, but overlooked guest break area, and they were noisy most of the evening. Food was terrible at most locations, only good food we had there was at the Hibachi grill and Spices. Most fun we had was off of the resort at Dolphin Encounters.

We were not impressed with much here, and are disappointed in the amount of money we spent on a poor experience. We could have had a much better time somewhere else for the amount of money we spent.

My wife and I came to Sandals Royal Bahamian to renew our vows for our twenty-fifth anniversary. The resort was beautiful, our butler, Lallu, was not only an amazing person, but a perfect butler. She anticipated our desires and was personable, charming and very efficient. Our villa was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffets were mundane; powdered eggs are not what we expected and not acceptable for a five star resort. One restaurant that we wanted to experience, was closed when we arrived, and never opened while we were there. Your advertisement as "all inclusive" is misleading. While you include scuba diving, water sports, hobie cats, and paddle boards, you are charging $150 per day. The most frustrating part of the trip, was trying to get to your private island. At first a sign said island was closed, then the last day of our trip we found out we could take a taxi to town, then a boat to the island, then management kept canceling the trips to town to catch the boat.
