Buying a new car can be stressful but if you go in with what you want, knowing what you want to pay and it can be a great experience. I am a faithful Ford owner I knew I wanted to go to a little bit of a bigger car and the Ford edge seem to be the right fit for me. I used their Internet site and with in less than an hour I received an email from Jose I always walking with my own financing through my credit union and I feel that I was given a fair trade in value.

During my entire visit, Erick & Dawin had been amiable, direct, & efficient. Though I primarily dealt with Dawin (I had met him before on a prior visit; he wasn t immediately available when I had arrived as he was understandably with another client), Erick assisted exceptionally well, immediately helping me find the vehicle I had researched and providing me with information on other options. When I requested the car for a test drive, it was brought expeditiously, & upon my return, Dawin was available. After continued discussion, I determined that a more current model was better suited for my needs. Dawin provided a clear & concise rundown of all of the unique safety & luxury features of the vehicle, and sent me on my way for a test drive. I was a bit concerned about the low amount of gas in the tank of the vehicle; Dawin explained that it was a precaution, but with no prompting he gladly provided me with a bit more (I greatly appreciated his insight & immediate action). Driving the car with the additional safety package he had recommended left me thoroughly impressed, & after securing as many discounts as I could apply for, I placed my down payment.

Dawin either knew the answer to any question I had, or quickly found it out; in both cases, he always presented the information without the least bit of ambiguity. He was fast, knowledgeable, & a pleasure to work with, & I would be more than comfortable recommending him or Erick to anyone I know that is looking for a car.

We shopped other car dealerships but ultimately chose Five Star as we were impressed with the way we were treated and all the time spent discussing our options. We purchased a 2018 Explorer Sport and couldn't be more happier.

We have a 2017 Ford Explorer Limited. We use it for road trips and for hauling most of the things we buy locally. We drove to Vermont and back last fall to look at leaves. A 6000 mile trip. Seats in the car are more comfortable than any of chairs we have in the house. 3.5 V6 engine has good performance for anything I want to do. Fuel economy on freeways on our trip was around 26 at 70 mph . Electronics work great for everything we want to use them for.
Our service needs are all managed by Clay young (service advisor ) at Five Star Ford in Carrollton TX. Any concerns on this vehicle have always ben taken care of for this vehicle and the other Fords we have. I also use the service depart for tire needs. I have found tires there are usually slightly less than the other major tire outlets plus they balance the tires when in for service and fix any flats as part of the purchase price. Plan to continue getting all service needs taken care of at Five Star Ford Carrollton TX.

My husband & I have been saving for a long while for just the right car for me. I drive 1 hour to work & home every day, so I need a good, dependable, comfortable & economical car. I had my heart set on a 2008 Acura, but to my horror the ones available were all wrong for us. Melanie Lucero was the young lady helping us, and after consulting with her colleagues, she drove us to where a 2008 Ford Fusion SEL had just been traded in.

This car is beautiful!!! It has new tires, a powerful engine, it's roomy & has comfortable seats, plus it's got all the bells & whistles I was looking for! Now I am able to drive to & from work in comfort & security, in a beautiful new car that I love! Me & my husband have started back to saving again, and when we're ready to buy his new car, we're gonna go back to see Mel again. She's good.

No one likes to take their car in for repair, so it helps when you have a group that gives you personal attention to you and your vehicle's needs. Their persistent effort and quality of service got me back on the road. If you have a Ford, these guys can help. Would definitely recommend. If going for quick service you can sit inside with fresh coffee while you wait.

Bought a Raptor out of state from these guys after shopping for a few months; price we agreed on was unbelievably fair - to the point that I kept waiting for there to be a catch and there never was one. Worked with Jason Acker and Mike May - both guys were very friendly, great communicators (which you want when you guy out of state), open, honest and no shenanigans at all. They followed through on every little detail they said they would... it felt like buying a car from your favorite uncle or something like that.

I hired my own shipping to bring the truck to me and Mike saved me a lot of heart ache when the wrong shipper showed up that morning to pick the truck up telling him HE was the guy meant to deliver it. Turns out (After a lot of phone calls) that someone was scabbing and saw the job out for bid and snuck in there trying to grab the truck out from under the shipper I actually did hire.

Mike knew something was up and called me right away, we took care of it and the truck was in my driveway a few days later.

A very easy recommendation to shop here and specifically reach out to Jason or Mike - these guys aren't out to gouge a commission out of anyone and just like doing their job and moving cars.

First, I had been shopping for an F-250 for a month +. Nothing felt right at the other dealerships I visit. A friend recommended I visit Five Star Ford (Carrolton) and pointed me to Melanie. From the start, found the truck I wanted that fit into my budget. Actually, Melanie went the extra mile and made this fit into my budget. There was no back and forth. I told her what I was looking for, she made it happen. Dennis met with me and quickly approved all the numbers and we were out the door. Once I was in Finance, Michael took care of the paper work and got me out the door under 30 min (if I remember correctly). Truck was washed and ready for me to drive off the lot

I have purchased many cars in my life time. This was the best experience I have had with a dealership. My youngest daughter will be in a market for a car soon and I will be starting our car search at Five Star Ford.

Freaking TERRIBLE SLOW service!!!!! I can't emphasize this enough. not only is every single person there rude (Except for the one person in front who was the only person in the entire store that said hello and offered to help) but service has gotten worse since they re-designed the dealership...Bigger shop, bigger service bays, more service employees...yet service gets worse? People use to get fired for this. I'm only giving it one stare because I have to in order to post this.

How car buying should be! Jose Garcia was excellent to work with. Recently bought a Mustang GT Roush from Five Star in Carrollton. The new incentive deals came out and I emailed Jose on the fly the about a specific model. within minutes he had emailed me back and was very straight forward about the vehicle and pricing. He did not pressure me or engage in the typical dealership sales tactics that you so often deal with. Working with Jose was like talking to car enthusiast who also happens to sell cars. Excellent service and he went out of the way to get the vehicle upgrade complete. Alex the aftermarket manager was great too, she did a fantastic job explaining the options and took the time to make sure I got what I needed.

My husband and I drive our cars until they die! Part of the reason why is because I hate the sneaky, slimy car salesmen that give you a price to get you to come in the dealership and then tack on extra fees other than just tt&l! So, I found the car I wanted at several dealerships in the Dallas area and was calling around to get the best price! I was already in the back and forth pricing with the typical car salesmen type that I described above, at North Central Ford (whom I would give 0 Stars)!

Then, Jesse Myers, from Sam Pack Five Star Ford in Carrollton called me and asked simply, What is your Rock Bottom price that would get you to come in today and buy the car? I told him the price I wanted to pay (which was $2500 less than where I was at with north central Ford's sneaky slimy car salesman)! He texted me a little while later and asked me to call him, that he had good news! I called, he gave me the price I wanted and 0% financing, and we drove down there and purchased the vehicle! No Back and Forth, No Sneaky Sales Tactics, No Added Fees!!!!
I then found out that Jesse was a Veteran which was the Icing on the Cake for me!!!

I would buy another car from Jesse in a heartbeat!

The service department has the worst customer service. They see you walk in and do not even acknowledge that you are there. They try to rip you off whenever possible. Use another Ford location for your own peace of mind.

I do not often write reviews or give much weight to those written online but this place seems to be the exception. I work for a large construction company with national accounts with another local dealership and there is a reason I ended up buying my car from Sam Pack. I saw a vehicle I liked online and decided to go in and take a look. The sales staff was nothing but professional and even employees I was not dealing with were treating me like a respected repeat customer. Peter Cummings while new was a great help in the buying process and did a great job making me feel comfortable in the buying process. I have not bought a vehicle in over 11 years but I deal with hundreds of dealers and service shops every year and was very impressed throughout this process. I cannot speak to their service center experience yet but I will soon know as I will be returning to this dealership in the future for any needs.

I bought a truck from this place last year and still have yet to get some items that were promised to me. They claim to be "on order" but havent even received a phone call back or response to my emails. before i took delivery, it was in the shop for pre delivery inspections and now i am having to replace a transmission after i clearly told the sales manager there was an issue when we drove the truck together to see if there were anymore issues . I will NEVER do business with 5starford again and encourage anyone else to steer clear of them. 1 STAR

So I came back to give these guys a 2nd chance and let me begin by saying HUGE mistake. 1st I called in to make an appointment for an oil change and asked if I can come in and out with an appointment. I was assured that I could. Once, I got to there though it was a different story. They told me that it would take about 2 hours for an oil change. When I asked what was the purpose of making an appointment the representative got smart and said appointment are only so we can drop the car off. He followed that by telling me to move to the side if I had an issue with the wait time since I wanted to speak to the supervisor. I waited almost an hour and half before the supervisor came into the building. The supervisor didn t even know I was waiting for him since the staff never pager him or checked back with me. All-in-all this will be the LAST time I ever use these guys. If you want better service I m sure you can head anywhere and get it.

The buying experience was great, but there service department is a joke. Im sure us bringing our car in for warranty work is why the quality of work was so low. But we had them perform the recall on the door panels on our explorer and they used industrial Staples which is fine because that's what Ford said to do, but they ran the Staples through the top of the panels and had the Staples poking out the top and rubbing against the window. They replaced the door panels after I complained enough. Then they replaced both sway bar links under warranty and 2 days after we got it back we thought we heard a noise but ignored it. Well I got under it yesterday and found the driver sway bar link busted. It was new but they impacted both nuts on.... This has plastic parts inside and they had them so tight that I had to get a cheater bar on both nuts. Pure laziness on both repairs done to our vehicle. Never will I or any of my family return here.

UPDATE: We spoke with Drew, the service manager, and he took responsibility for incorrectly scheduling the service date for my SUV. He was extremely professional, apologetic, and has completely rectified the situation - really provided us with outstanding service. They even picked up my car, left me a loaner for the day, and washed/ detailed my car before dropping it back off to me. Oscar, has also apologized profusely and we are looking forward to working with both of them in the future.

Horrible experience... my husband called and scheduled an appointment with Oscar in service. I brought my car in at 8:53am for the routine check and oil change. I was told it would take an hour, max an hour and a half. At 10:35 I had heard nothing so I went to check and see what was going on. My car has just been pulled back and NO work had even been started. They told me that it would be at least another hour. Extremely disappointed. Had I known that they didn t do appointments and it was a first come, first serve basis I would have had my car in first thing in the morning. I will be going elsewhere.

Fantastic!! I purchased a new 2020 F150 Platinum and couldn't be happier! This is my third F150 Platinum in the last 10 years. Sales Consultant (Alex) was great and Sales Manager (Justin) was awesome!! I have purchase 10 different vehicles in the last 10 years for my family and have been exclusive to Autonation. Not this time! When Autonation failed to get the deal I wanted, Sam Pack's Five Star Ford stepped up and got exactly what I asked for. I will definitely come back again and start referring customer here rather than Autonation. Great experience all around!!

I am new to Dallas, TX area, just relocated within the pst month from Louisiana. So I know very few people in the area (all coworkers), and have no experience with any dealerships. When I first reached out, I spoke with Clay and he offered me all the assistance I could have hoped for with a recall and warranty concerns. My experiences with this dealership have been pleasant, from answering questions and courtesy shuttles to meeting deadlines they have far exceeded my expectations.

Bad customer service. I went in to get my door fixed and get an oil change and also get pricing on a part that I need it. Why my car was being serviced I cannot find the advisor who was helping me and when I asked another advisor where was he located or was there any update on my car after it has been in service for over an hour the guy told me I'm not your advisor you have to find him. By the time I actually did find him my car was done and ready for me. When I asked him about the pricing for the park he told me it will be cheaper for me to go to a pick and pull and get the part. All they told me is that he forgot to get pricing. When I get into my car there's the old oil sticker and I had to call back to see when do I get a new oil change. On July 1st my change oil message was coming on....I went in for service on 05/26 why is this message coming on! this just leads me to believe they didn't even do an oil change! I ended up going to the Ford dealership in Plano and getting an oil change from them. I should have just went to the Ford in Plano like I always do and get great customer service but I was trying to go to the one that was closer to my house. When I called today to talk to someone about it all I got was attitude. And that is the reason why I'm making this post. Because I wasn't going to say anything but there was no one trying to help me.

I went to them and told them what I was needed and what I was able to afford payment wise. Most car dealers will go back and forth negotiating. I hate that. They didn t do that with me since I was upfront of what I could do. I have purchased a few cars thru Sam packs in the past and my parents also have since 1983. We are Sam Pack customers for life. They ran my credit said that they tried multiple companies to get me approved. They told me I had a repo on my credit so I could only be approved for their 2nd chance car finance company. Which would only approve me for up to $9000. I didn't recall a repo on my credit when I checked it previously. So I asked them could I see the report. I was told that the sales/finance managers do not allow them to see what's on report but just advised them of it. I left discouraged and disappointed because I really needed a car for myself and kids due to our car braking down a day prior. The following day I was referred the Westway Ford. Come to find out Sam Pack only sent my app to one finance company and I didn't have a repo on my credit. I walked out of Westway Ford with a brand new 2016 Ford Fusion.

There is so much to say and so little room here. The facilities are nice, but I want to be in-and-out, not longue around all day to be hostage to the many solicitors selling "add ons". Yes, you repaired the damage to vehicle I pointed out, but it should have been repaired before it was put up for sale. Yes the sales man was helpful, but he also did not make good on a verbal contract he made with me. Customer Service is great until you've already made the purchase, then good luck reaching someone. Finance was another beast entirely. Three weeks later and my contact, after MULTIPLE attempts, is STILL not correct. Bottom line: Over priced / Stereotypical used car sales people - AVOID IF POSSIBLE

Bravo! Sam Pack Five Star, You brought the buying experience to a new level. Excellent service from everybody we came in contact to from the sales man to the detail guy.

We tried Grapevine Ford... Ill save you time, do not try Grapevine ford out, I would have rather had hemorrhoids removed with no pain killers than go there again..

My wife and I searched the vehicles on line and found one we wanted to look at. We walked in to the dealership and let them know what we were there for. The Sales man greeted us with a smile and said " all right no problem", spoke to the porter, and Immediately the porter was grabbing the keys to the vehicle we were inquiring about and pulled it up, while the salesman was getting our info. The sales man walked us to the Expedition and showed us the "ins and outs"of the options. Within 5 mins of stepping foot on the show room we were test driving the vehicle we asked to look at. The Expedition was great, we got down to the price and agreed quickly and 45 mins later we drove it home for a overnight test drive. We came back today 09/30/2016 sign papers, and happily drove it home.

This was a 2015 used Expedition XLT, there was zero pressure to buy a new, the finance guy was not pushy with the up sales of gap insurance and extended warranty. He let us know about the products and if we declined he nicely tried again and then moved on. These Guys went out of their way to accommodate our needs and came in under our original budget by almost $100 dollars on the monthly payment. It was detailed, filled with Gas and ready to rock by the time all the papers were signed!

Thank you! Sales man Valentino Valles, David Martin III and Evelyn ( for the pens and paper to keep my kids busy) also the porter and detail guys that I failed to get their name for the excellent service.

Many other dealers and car sales people SHOULD take pointers about service and how it NEEDS be from Sam Pack Five Star Ford.

I would not recommend this dealership whatsoever. I d love to tell you why with my bad experience.

In late Nov. 2018, I bought a certified prepared 2014 Ford Focus. I started to have issues with it just weeks later. The transmission and it would hesriraye, stall, stutter when you go from 0 to accelerate. Come to find out, the car had a national safety recall from Ford. Yet they still sold me the car. Even as certified pre owned. While it was in their service department, it was discovered after I brought it to their attention, that my front strut was leaking. Certified pre owned huh? What exactly did they check for to make it certified pre owned? I had to pay out of pocket $450 to have the strut, strut mount, and a new alignment done. Apparently it s not covered under any warranty. Mind you this is not a customer caused issue. I will give kudos to the management team for telling me at least they will reimburse me that cost. Almost 3 weeks after this charge it has not happened yet, but I will fairly note they have told me I will be reimbursed. The car still has issues when I go to accelerate from 0. It stutters and hestitates when I go to accelerate. I spoke with the service manager and he told me flat out that Ford is legally allowed to sell a car even knowing the car has a Ford safety recall on it. He also flatly admitted to me that even if they were doing a certified pre owned inspection and noticed a leaking strut, they would not worry about replacing it. It s not considered a safety item and thus would knowingly leave it alone. Would you want to buy a car from a dealership who practices like this? This deceptive? I surely never will again.

The staff is friendly here but keep in mind they are trying to sell you cars. Look behind the facade and take heade to my warning and my bad experience and steer clear from this dealership. You will thank me later.

Update: The dealership management has worked with me regarding my issues and has bent over backwards to make me a satisfied customer.

I ve bought many cars, and never have I had my car returned with out a car wash.(Had my truck for 3 hours) They had the audacity to tell me the car was washed when there was still mud stains and bugs on my windshield. Extra star because of time they saved on my driving. Don t take FORDs fuel pass rewards either.

I drive a 2010 F150 that I purchased brand new from Sam Pack 5 Star Ford. I ve never taken my truck for service, not even for a simple oil change, to any place else but Sam Pack 5 Star Ford Carrollton, TX. Their service is impeccable; from the time I pull in, my stay while I wait, until the time I leave. My service rep is Clay Young since day 1, and it has been 10 yrs and Clay has been the only person I ask for to check my truck in for service. Nothing against the other service reps there, it just that I believe that if one person is treating you with good service, why change. Talk about longevity! My truck has +120 miles on it and still runs like a charm. I know that if I purchase new F150, it will be from this dealership and I will bring it to Clay Young to check it in for its scheduled maintenance.

Then we ended up making an appt both times with the Carrollton location, and when I made an appt (to get a loaner), they magically cannot find the appt, leaving me stranded with either the problem, or stuck there with a toddler for hours on end. We will never buy from Sam Pack again.

Best car buying experience yet. Eric and Chris took great care of my needs during my shopping at Five Star Ford. I knew what I was interested in when I walked in the door, and they were very quick, courteous, and professional in getting me into the car for a test drive. As a personal touch, it even had my name hanging from the mirror when we got in the vehicle. Financing was a breeze and they got me a great deal. We will definitely be coming back for future needs in hopes of the same great treatment.

Otilio Hernandez was and still is very hard working towards me and my spouse purchasing a new vehicle at five star ford! Every question we had or problem we had I knew Otilio didn't mind helping us, we noticed Otilios effort towards me as a 19 year old trying to purchase an SUV was a little complicated for him but he did not mind at all every bump that came along he would fix it without any bother towards him. To this day after 3 weeks of purchasing the car he has contacted us for an inspection and to check up how the car has been treating us. Big thank you and appreciation to him!

Imagine a car buying scenario where you knew, before you ever left your house, exactly what a dealer was willing to give you (fair and honest trade-in) on your trade and what they were asking for their vehicle (fair and honest price) and that you were actually excited about going there...now imagine that when you get to the dealership, there's no "we didn't say that" bs, no sort of shell game bs, no sort of add-on expenses, no sort of delay tactics used on you just because you're at the dealership and you're now willing to pay any price bs, and finally, that you and your 2 year old daughter (yea, that's how confident I was in making my deal, I took my 2-year old) you're out of the dealership, full tank and all, within 90 minutes. I've purchased over 100 vehicle in my life and to date, not ONE experience has been like this, except for Sam Pack's Five Star Ford, Carrollton, TX.., Jason Acker as the salesman. This is my 4th auto with them and I am now looking into a 5th purchase. This IS the way car-buying is supposed to happen and I've had my share of ALL the snakes and rats in other dealerships, but not here. Great, they've earned their 5-Star name from me. KSW

Excellent experience. This is the second vehicle I've purchased from this location. This time it was an F-150 for my business. I needed a specific configuration that is not incredibly common and Corbin and the rest of the team there made it happen.
To be honest, there were a couple of hiccups in the process, but what stands out is the extraordinary lengths they went to ensuring everything was made right and I was taken care of. Anyone can have a bump or two in the buying process. Not everyone would handle then as professionally as the sales and finance team here did.
You can bet I will be back for my next Ford!

Still having same problem and tech did not attempt to replicate accurately so they didn't see a problem. End the end, I disconnected/reconnected the battery which resolved the issue with difficult starting in cold weather.
