Just had my new power steering control valve installed on my 64 Mustang, and it works flawlessly! I had no idea how hard it had become to wrestle the car around my curvy Virginia mountain roads! Now it's a one finger effort---the sensitivity is awesome----almost too much so! Took some getting used to.
The part arrived in a timely manner, and was packed well as to keep it from damage in transport.
Thanks guys for a job well done, and the cost was reasonable.
Will return if I need further parts.
Any suggestions what to do with the old one??

Have had excellent luck and have gotten some parts that the local parts store has said to be dealer part only. The pictures of the parts help and there is a lot of selection. Shipping has been excellent.

I've been using rockauto for years. Except when time is critical. I've returned parts easily and never had a problem. Great for old hard to find parts. Thou I have learned never to buy their cheapest. Such as the cheapest water pump lasted two years.

I wish I had found this site years ago. I have saved significant sums over local prices, and returns or corrections are fast and more than fair. Shipping is priced reasonably and usually arrives sooner than expected. I have told all friends and family about it. I have six vehicles in my profile and have never once been unable to find a reasonable range of choices and prices. It is hard in this era to find fast and efficient service and Rock Auto is right up there on top.

Warrantie polices are terrible and no customer service over the telephone. What's the point of a cheap price if you get a defective parts . After you have to pay the shipping and return shipping you could of got it at the local parts store.

Very cheap price on a lot off car parts. I'm making a list of things I need for my 1994 geo tracker lsi 1.6 motor 8 v.. On 3/3/17 I'm going to make a order. I'm having a hard time finding a very cheap egr. If you can help me find one (very cheap) that will make my car better then it is. BIG MISTAKE,I ORDERED A FUEL PUMP OVER A WEEK AGO AND STILL NO PUMP AND WHEN I CHECKED TRACKING NUMBER I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE DELIVERED TODAY IN CALF.BUT PROBLEM IS I LIVE IN B.R. LA. ALSO I LIVE 2.5. MILES FROM AUTO ZONE! NEVER AGAIN!

Living in Germany it is quite difficult to obtain spare parts for my 73 Buick Riviera. So I have ordered parts from Rockauto many times and the quality of the parts was always superior. But what counts most for me is service quality. Delivery is lightning-fast, emails are answered within one day, and problems solved the next day. What more can you ask for? Absolutely recommendable.

The website, prices and delivery were OK. I wish I had been able to determine fitment by talking to a real, live person but they apparently don't take phone calls. I've shopped for parts on other websites and most of them have made mistakes, so it does happen. Now the only way I have to check fitment is to install the injector and see how the car runs.

I have used RockAuto for years and have ordered a variety of parts from them. I have never gotten the wrong part and all the parts I have used from them are cheaper and work just as good as from the local auto store. AND, they even send me a discount code every once in awhile! Can't beat that!

I have been buying from Rock Auto for several years now. Pay close attention to the parts you are attempting to buy and plan for approx 7 days to ship and you will be able to maintain your vehicle for about 1/2 the cost in parts per year. I actually stock parts ahead of time and make a large order once a year for consumables. Total cost is around $150 a year for maint per car @ 35,000 miles a year. That's one trip to the shop...

Purchase rt side mirror for 91 Chevrolet Cavalier. They sent the mirror and it was wrong. The part number was the same , but the mirror was wrong. They said it was what the manufactured assured them was correct. I could return with a pickup slip but I would only get credit for the part, Or I could ship back at my expense and they would credit me for part and 1/2 of shipping cost. What a rip off. They advertise the wrong part and I have to absorb the shipping. They would just put it in stock for some other unsuspecting buyer . I will just trash it. The box is marked Skyhawk and Sunbird not a Cavalier in site

A Great source for auto parts and a Great price . I bought a power steering line for my Kia , $165 locally and I had to go get it , $ 93.71 delivered to the door by Rock Auto , AND it was an Original Factory Kia Part exact fit . Customer service completely uninterested in losing an order..pushed me to FedEx, then when it was obvious that something was wrong, they waited another 48 hours for a Trace..no offer to re-ship or take the burden off of me...they did refund the money but having to reorder from someone else made my time to get Tune Up parts over 4 weeks...unbelievable..I have ordered Thousands of $$$ from these people since they started and never had this happen...too bad...they lost me as a customer and I will never recommend them to anyone.

Awesome!!!! lots of communication, great tracking and shipping info. most parts I have ordered arrived within in two days or three days of my order. Plus there system will pull up parts with cross referenced part numbers.

I paid over $20 for overnight FedEx. Didn t ship as promised. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Delivery date changed by 3 days (week end). Can t even get my shipping cost back, because there is no email, no phone number, no customer service. Won t buy from them again.

I've shopped at RockAuto for rmany years only because of the good choices and good prices. However, even a simple or of general maintenance parts will result in parts being shipped from multiple warehouses and it's an extreme hassle if you want to consolidate them to a one or two shipping locations to reduce shipping charges. There's no indication in the catalog where the part will come from and when the quantity of a part is increased, they may also come from multiple places. This is a very frustrating customer experience.

Always getting orders wrong. Today my struts showed up bent and severely damaged.

No customer service, no phone number. If they screw up they expect you to pay to mail it back. Here s how they mailed my oil filters.

I previously went to a competitor for a radiator fan i needed for my 2012 Chevy Sonic. The part took several weeks to arrive and it was the wrong part! I tried calling customer service to see about a return. But they took forever to even answer me and now they are completely ignoring my attempts. I went to Rock Auto, ordered Monday and part arrived Thursday. It was exactly what i need. Install was a breeze. I will definitely be returning to Rock Auto.

i purchased 7 quarts of motorcraft5/30, full synthetic and on first shipment,
i received 10/30 semi synthetic , but invoice read 5/30 full syn.
i sent the 10/30 back to R/A with your shipping label but 2 days later i recieved both the oil i wanted plus the 10/30 that i had returned.
dont know why that happened but would like to return the 10/30 i did not
want.

Easy and just what I need at a price I can deal with.

I was frustrated with the service. No real human to talk to. Delivery is not reliable, no definite time frame!! If a person really needs their part to come in a timely manner, I would suggest they don't order from rockauto. What the delivery of parts says is not true. Furthermore; I had to pay for the delivery and it's not worth it.

Sent wrong parts in December. I called in February and no return call, emailed in March and was told couldn't return parts. 2 different struts and one looks used. Not the right struts for my vehicle, out original price and $80 to a mechanic. Invoice75538623 price $56.67. This is the second time I have ordered and got the wrong parts!

The quality of bumper cover the online catalog sold & what we received were not even close it was not paint ready. It would of took another day in prep & supplies cost on top of the cost of bumper. When I contacted RockAuto. They stated policy was to refund part but not the shipping. just under $200.00 to ship back do to size. They would not talk to us about the quality or the shipping. From the treatment my shop received from RockAuto, made it clear we were only a number to them & it was not important if I ever did business with them again.

They do not have customer care phone service but do have a great web site ordering system right down to the smallest part for your car. Great email response time with questions if unable to find it in the Q&A pop-up box. I can say first hand it will be very hard to find anyplace that can or will beat their price. All Stars from me! I will be back for more and tell all my buds about their service and prices on top of the line products not bottom line economy stuff which they do have as well for even greater pricing. I recently ordered under the promotions link, wiper blades which did NOT state left or right side but LEFT SIDE, RIGHT SIDE which tells me i am getting both, but when the order arrived i only received one, so i called Rock auto about the blade and they wouldn't hear of it !!!

Never Ever order parts with this lousy and bad customer service company.

They provide false and misleading shipping information to their customer on their website, at the time of order placement it says Expedited DHL service with 3-4 business days delivery but it is taking way longer than that 2 weeks to get the order.

Placed the order on 05/14 and the expected delivery was mentioned 05/23 at the time of order placement. But a day later it says 05/28 like it is coming form other continent or Timbuktu. Very disappointed with Rock auto and their service they should have mentioned up front on their website the realistic and correct transit/shipping times so that customer can choose different courier or do not buy from them at all.

They are providing wrong delivery time at the time of order placement just to get customer's business this is wrong business practice and won't last long we live in 21st century not in stone age .

Recently installed a Beck/ Arnley transmission mount on my 04 TDI Jetta wagon and was surprised when it became necessary to clean up the misaligned steel plate where it meets the car fender.This company needs to take a closer look at quality control of it,s Chinese plant, where this came from. I have used many other automotive products from this company and had no problems.

Sent me a damaged part that someone else had already returned as damaged. Tape on it saying the headlight was cracked. PITA to get it sent back to them and they want me to pay $13.67 in return fees! Last time I deal with them!

This company made a fraudulent charge on my husband's debit card. We have called several times and this company does not talk to people on the phone. Therefore, we stopped the debit card from processing and will be suing this company.

Second return to these guys within a month, both of which went horrible. Cant talk to a live person and they end your e-mail concordance whenever they decide they don't want to respond anymore. They sent me a defective part, I sent it back using the return label their website provided and now they are telling me I sent it to the wrong place and I have to pay shipping charges to correct this. I had no say in the matter, they are deducting the shipping from what's left of my refund for the defective part THEY sent me. I am a residential customer, I have no way to create my own shipping label, so it's quite obvious their system has a problem, yet I have to pay for it! Never buying from these guys again. Used to be great to deal with the past 20 years I have used them, now not so much, really went down hill. What a shame, a once great company now steals from their loyal customers.

I see all the reviews about bad experience with customer service. My one and only call just now was answered quickly and correctly and accurately.

They shipped fast and the price is good . So glad a friend at work told me about this great place. I'm usually somewhat skeptical when using an unfamiliar online vendor, but my skepticism disappeared on this one. RockAuto had the parts I needed and the prices were right. Shipping was extremely fast and packaging was excellent to protect my order. I'll be looking to RockAuto again in the future for my auto parts orders.

I purchased a Expansion Valve for my AC unit. It came with an aluminum adaptor to fit the truck. This adaptor would never hold pressure after 3 attempts to repair the leak. Needlessly after having to remove the dashboard 3 times I finally ordered another unit that did not include the adaptor. The worst problem was RockAuto would not/could not return the worthless unit. RockAuto return procedure is the worse and they except no phone calls on return items. Be careful when ordering from RockAuto if you have a problem they do not have a system for returns that works.
