Bought an O2 sensor and they sent the wrong part. After sending them pictures comparing both parts they approved my return but I had to pay shipping to return the wrong part they sent. Horrible customer service if you ask me. Just because of that I will no longer buy their parts.

I was aware that the part would fit, but I wanted what I ordered....not what they chose to send me even if it does fit. I've been a loyal customer for years with Rock Auto... they just ended that relationship....and it was all over an $11.00 part, shame on you for deceiving the customer Rock Auto!

Received my instrument cluster fairly quickly and return the core the same day and have not received any notice or refund after 2 weeks. FedEx had no record of it and I have nobody to talk to. I guess I'm out $300. Should have paid the doubled price at the dealer. Will never use RockAuto again!!!!!!!!!

Update: Did receive my refund. I guess I wasn't patient enough.

I see that you folks think this is funny. I dont blame you I enjoy a good laugh once in a while myself. Unfortunately for me I took two days off work to install this reman steering gear in my daughters jeep so I could give it to her for Christmas. It arrived with the box soaked in fluid on a supposedly checked for leaks and all seals replaced unit. What a dissapointment. Now I cant give her the Jeep for Christmas cause not safe to drive. So I contact you folks and you send me a return label that cannot be reprinted. that was real funny, So now I will find a new box to return unit If I can get you to mail me a return label. Was refered to you by a friend. Sorry but sooooo pissed right now. from what ive seen im guessing im out $200.00

Parts were correct and fit perfectly
Everything was perfect.

I ordered two entire headlight assemblies and 2 entire turn signal assemblies that were both at the top of the list. For the two different products, rock auto shipped all at the one in the same box. Had pretty quick shipping and it was just standard. Would love a Rockauto decal to promote this business. Please send me yalls window decal.

I never really rave about a business, but Rock Auto is a exception. The prices are usually 20-60% less than my local parts store for the same part numbers. The shipping is fast at a reasonable cost too. The only reason I go to my local parts store is if I need something in a pinch. As for customer service which I've only had to use once in the last 10 years, is fantastic! Other company's should watch and take note of how Rock Auto treats its customers! Thanks Again!

We returned the items we did not use for my son's BMW. When we sent you the merchandise back you refused to give our money back using the excuse that there was "markings" on the box but, I personally took pictures of the boxes sent and there was NO MARKINGS on the boxes. I am going to contact someone higher up regarding this matter. You can't take someones money and make up a lie saying "markings was on the box". I also took pictures of the parts. I know these parts were not used because we took the car to a mechanic who didnt even need the parts.
Thats why we sent the parts back. The parts were not used and not defective. We want our money back for the parts that we did not use.

I couldn't be more impressed. I have an 1988 Saab 900 Turbo convertible, limited funds and a wife who doesn't support my habit. The car needed shocks and Rock Auto offered a wide selection at a broad range of price points. I bought Monroe for a fraction of what I would otherwise have paid online in Canada and they arrived on my doorstep before I even had a chance to think about it. Thank you and Rock on!

Rockauto is my new favourite place for ordering parts. Great selection of OEM parts cheaper than the dealership. Also very reasonable prices on aftermarket parts too. I live in Canada and they make ordering a breeze, no surprise fees or duties when my parts arrive and very fast shipping. I ll definitely continue to shop at Rockauto

For a supposed "mom & pops store", this company is a rip off. Ordered a part, didn't fit, returned it, which that shipping came out of the "return". Then they stated that it wasn't returned in the unmarked manufacturers packaging, which we shipped it back in the EXACT same packing we received it in. Then they claim the unmarked packaging has the barcode and part number on it (not sure how a once unmarked can now have marks) so it makes it to where they can't resell it. Sent me a picture of how they received it and I can see the barcode on the part. Which I told them this, with no response. Told me I'd have to pay $12 more to have it shipped back or they'd throw the part away. Sent 3 emails asking for how to speak to management and only ever received one email back. TERRIBLE customer service, TERRIBLE company. STAY AWAY!!!! Much better, more respectful companies to get parts from.

My husband and I heard about Rock Auto on the tv. My husband insist on doing all the work on our truck himself, and went to OReilly to get a price on a part a while back and was shocked at the price they quoted him. we discussed Rock Auto at which time I went on line to their site and looked up the price of the part just to compare prices. We were so shocked at the savings. OReillys had told us $216.00 for the part and we ended up getting it from Rock Auto for only $94.00 after the shipping cost.. I kid you not. We got it for less than half the price. Needless to say we have been faithful Rock Auto Customers ever since.

Terrible company with horrible customer service. The delivery dates are rarely right, and they will charge you fraudulent made up fees if you return something for virtually any reason even if thier warehouse got it wrong. There is a reason so many people report negative reviews for this company. Avoid doing business with these crooks all costs!!!

Disappointed. I ordered a part and on their website they had it mislabeled (compared pictures from all other brands selling the same part) for the wrong side of the car. They offered a refund if I shipped it back but then I would be paying $20 for return shipping for a $30 part - plus they would only give me online credit meaning I would need to pay shipping yet again if I ordered another part.

I ordered a wrong part as well as receiving a wrong part. The return process was easy and the situation quickly rectified. I saved 1500 dollars by ordering parts from rockauto. This makes me happy and I wish I had heard of them before I replaced my suspension.

Sent us the wrong part and will not reimburse the total shipping UNLESS it is FEDEX. We do not have a FEDEX near our house. It will be a 40 mile round trip to return a product that was in the wrong box. They will not send the correct ORDERED part either until their WRONG part is in transit even though they have our credit card information. We have our car scheduled to be worked on tomorrow and now have to reschedule that too. And the wait to get the part we ordered. Do you think they will expedite it? I hope so, but don't think they will because it will cost them money. They do not care that about the gas money I will have to spend to correct their error. I cannot talk to a supervisor either. I called three times and once (first guy's name Michael) gave my name and number for a supervisor to contact me. It might be Monday when they decide to call! The second time (talked to Chris) I called and asked to talk to a supervisor I was told they were was close to closing time (A lie - they close at 10 eastern time and it was 6:45pm) so I would not here from the supervisor until then. I tried a third time and was told that is their POLICY. You cannot just ask to talk to a supervisor. The supervisor will call you. Then Ben decided to hang up on me when I asked him to take my information again and send it again to a supervisor. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN"T EXIST AT THIS BUSINESS

Bad parts arrive. I bought 2 times 4 parts. 8 in total and 6 went bad in the end I did not return shipping.

1 order buy 4 pieces of the Ultrapower brand.
4 I arrived defective. the bushing moved with his hand.

days after purchase other 4 Mevotech brand.
2 became defective. the bushing moved with his hand.
Only 2 are fine.

The problem was when I return.
the order of the 4 defective only returned me the money of the parties and not money shipping.

in the 2-order only returned my money party .... that's okay because I went 2 good.

customer service is not bad but not sending back the 1 order.

I THINK NOT WORTH BUYING IN THIS PLACE.

The order of the 4 defective only returned the money of the parts and not the money of the shipment.

In the 2nd order, only the money from the parties returned to me ... that's fine because I got 2 good ones.

Customer service is not bad but they did not return the shipment of the 1 order.

I BELIEVE THAT THE PENALTY IS NOT VALID TO BUY IN THIS PLACE.

Added a part to cart. Went to check out. Upon checking out it asked me to add my email. Upon adding email the part price increased a few dollars! Totally unacceptable and a classic bait and switch scam. Sure pricing may fluctuate but absolutely not after I put it in my cart two minutes later. I will never buy from this crooked supplier! Emailed customer service twice and they do not care at all. I also got the part at local O'Reilly parts store for less as they beat them on price.

You save money, you get an option on manufacture of parts, choice between delivery times, and tracking of your package. What's great is every time I have ordered just using the standard delivery I get my parts sooner than they list. It could be my location but I'm not going to complain. This last order got my vehicle up and running two days before I thought. Way to go Rock Auto !

The pair of Rock Auto and RL Carrier abused my money badly.
RL failed to delivery the item during the time-frame it committed itself. Then thick-faced claimed that I refused the delivery.
Rockauto decided to listen to its carrier rather than its customer once it took the customer's money.
Will never buy from Rockauto nor will use RL carrier. Once either of them takes your money, you are at their mercy. They care money only, not you or me, the customer.

After searching high and low online, a disgusted reviewer of another supplier mentioned, "Why not just go to the best, ROCKAUTO!" So I did just that and so far, have not been disappointed. I had a great choice of both new and reconditioned alternators for my 1999 Subaru Impreza at prices far below any others online and once ordered, the new one I chose got here so fast, I was speechless. The site is extremely easy to use, you can look almost anything up on it, it gives you different classes of parts IE economy, daily driver, heavy duty, and performance.(not sure if those are all of them but that's just what I could remember) It also lists parts by price so you don't have to scrounge around to find the best, and the cheapest, and then you can open an info tab to make sure that everything checks out. I really only have one complaint and that's the shipping costs, it's a bit much but I do understand why it's so much, that's all I've got. Hope this helps someone because this site had really helped me.

Fast delivery? Yes! Solution-oriented service after a shaft shaft incorrectly specified in the catalog and supplied for the RAM? Nope! An exchange is absolutely impossible. Only when the wrong goods have survived the transport from GER to USA undamaged (!), You can really wait a very long time for his return transfer and then order the replacement part again. The answers by mail are stereotypical and repetitive meaningless.

Rockauto was good for the first few purchases but after awhile their service has seemed to drop really bad. I have been sent wrong and broken parts too many times. I have not had a car for a month thanks to rockauto and their low quality parts and very slow shipping. I ordered 3-4 day shipping and it took them 4 days to actually ship my last package.

Prices and delivery are very good. The online catalog can be a bit confusing at times. Trying to contact customer service gave me the same feeling as going to the DMV - painful; no live person on the other end of the phone, and the email responses were equally unhelpful. Apparently the customer service people do not know what they are selling. If the item you are looking for in the online catalog is confusing, you can bet it is confusing to the customer service person too. Just buy that part from someone else (unless you don't mind the hassle of return shipping). All things considered I will recommend, and have recommended Rock auto to others. I will continue to shop with them.

Everything was such low quality that I may as well have just left the old broken parts on. 2 of them were the wrong part, and one order I tried to cancel, but they wouldn't process it until after the part shipped, so I had to pay for return shipping. I'll just pay a little extra for the right parts at AutoZone/O'Reilly's/Advanced Auto Parts. They actually stand behind their parts, instead of distributing for every Chinese junk dealer. Never using RockAuto again.

You should be aware of their 30 day return policy before you place an order. I totalled the car I was going to install the parts in and with all the dealing with the insurance etc. I missed the deadline. I requested an extension but that was denied. I will never do business with RockAuto again!!

BEWARE!!!!!!! if you get a shipment from this company and need to return the part. It does state on the print out that when you send part back that it needs to be in original part box. So be sure they sent it to you in a part box. It does not state that any where on their web page. So if you do like I did and send the part box back just as it was sent to you then they will not issue you a refund. Plus you will have to pay 6 dollars and some change to send it to them out of your own money which I can expect, but if they do not issue you a refund then they will keep the part or charge you another 13 dollars to have it sent back to you. Just frustrating. Customer service sucks.
