ordered a part from them and it didn't work, tried several times to return it and every time I contacted them or went to the link to return my item for a refund it didn't work and got nothing but the run around. It is a shame that they won't do anything to make the customer happy. The number one rule in a business is customers is always right no matter what and to always have happy customers but yet they are starting to fail at that.

Excellent place to buy parts! I ordered 2 hub assemblies for the price of 1, had I bought from my local parts store. My parts were expected to be delivered on the 5th, but came in on the 2nd, and are exactly what I needed. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase, and will definitely be ordering all my parts here.

Every time I need a part for my car they have the right part at great prices. Good parts not knockoff and 2 nds all name brand such as gates belts and hoses Denson sparkplugs . I could go on and on but you get the picture. So try them out you will not be disappointed.

bought a $200 muffler they sent me the wrong one . . . . tried for hours to return the item they will not accept the muffler. I will report it to my credit card company. DO NO BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER.

Poor customer service. Had identity stolen and wanted some assistance when thief purchased from their store. They refused to help. You can also only communicate via email.

Not sure what happened with the people who posted poor ratings but my experience was 5 stars all the way. Not only did they send the correct parts for an absolute blow out of the price quoted to me by the other local stores, I ordered my stuff after 4 pm on a Tuesday and they were waiting for me when I got home from work on Wednesday. I was floored by that. I will always recommend them.

Their simple, easy to navigate (once you get used to it) web interface is easily my favorite of all the auto-parts websites. They have a huge number of parts at great prices, and always ship promptly.

Everything I've ordered has always arrived in tact, and the one time they sent me the wrong item, they immediately sent out the correct item once i informed them of the error.

Order blower motor for a 2000 Astro part was the cheapest I could find came in fast but the plug was a little off I had to trim it to make it fit.

RockAuto is a reliable supplier of auto parts for the Toyota and Lexus vehicles in the family. When I was forced to look to other online vendors for Porsche parts I found the bird a great deal less reliable than RockAuto.

As a customer in Ontario I rely on the Kinek outlet near the Thousand Islands Bridge for pickups. I have found direct shipping to my residence is a no-go because of absurd brokerage fees, especially in the case of Fed-Ex.

RockAuto provides a range of very reasonable price levels in auto parts for the online buyer and the business appears to be well run.

Been very happy ordering my parts thru Rockauto, always get what I ordered and pretty quickly too. Really like the fact I can order stuff that's being discontinued at even cheaper prices. I bought top shelf brake pads, with shipping at less than half of what I would have paid for the second best ones at local parts store. And no lines!

I have been getting parts from ROCKAUTO for several years for 7 vehicles. I have been pleased with the speed, quality and reliability of sources and ethics of the company. When mistakes happen they back up the purchase and get it right. Mistakes have been very rare.

I've ordered parts from RockAuto since 1999. Most of my friends who are car guys use RockAuto. The information provided for each part is complete, and it ensures the correct part will be ordered. I appreciate the options available, Economy, Premium, Heavy Duty, etc. There is no other parts source that comes close to RockAuto in my experience.

Don't order from.here if you actually need the part. They never send everything in the 3 days they say. They might send a piece within the 3 days but then you'll wait a week for the rest. I ordered parts last sun a piece came weds now they're saying Mon for the rest which would be 8 days not 3. My.mechanic orders from.them and this always happens or they send wrong part. I will never waste a cent with them again.And I.told my mechanic not to either. It's worth it to spend a little extra to get your needed car parts right away.

I live out in the sticks. 25 miles from the closest Auto Parts store. I ordered a transfer case shifter motor on Wednesday and it arrived on Saturday morning. No core, no 50 mile drive, and quite the savings.

Started by shopping around for a quality parts and reputable service auto parts dealer for my own vehicle. Now my friends are asking me to find them parts for their vehicles ie. Toyota RAV4 driveshaft - $2500 from the dealer here / $648 with taxes and delivery from RockAuto. Canada is a great place to live just don't shop here for car parts!!!! RockAuto Rocks!!!

Rockauto did not add my apartment number so i had to fight with fedex to get my parts and ended up losing parts in transit and now rockauto is telling me its my fault!! Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grest prices..I have 5 vehicles in the family to keep running. ..one stop shopping and I have it with in days. .

I ordered a radiator and the petcock was broke so I called to get a replacement. I was told that they would notify me when it would be shipped. I waited 24 hours with no reply. So when I called back they said thay had to send a new one so I expected a new radiator but I did not recive one.

Their shipping charges can fluctuate hourly by as much as $50, plus they use the old ebay tactic of screwing you on shipping.

By the time you factor in their shipping (which is ridiculous if you order more than 1 part) you can get whatever part you want cheaper from amazon, ebay, advance auto )with 20% off coupon) or summit racing.

I was going to place a second order with them until they changed the shipping charges not 1 hour after placing items in my cart, I removed a few items to compensate for the increased shipping, placed my order and ordered , I then hopped on summiit racing and figured out that I could have gotten everything i Ordered cheaper through them, their prices are a few dollars more up front but they don't charge you $75 for shipping so you will still probably come out ahead

Their parts with shipping are very often, if not always cheaper than the Bensons, Car Quests and NAPAs of the world. The only down side is when they list a part on their web site that is just plain wrong and will not fit your vehicle. No telephone support and you end up paying for shipping back to the original warehouse. Bring back telephone support!!

RA's customer service is terrible. Oh wait, they don't have any customer service. Had to return a defective item(brake caliper assembly). Which means brake job had to wait. Wanted to return the other one because I am unsure of the quality of the brake calipers, and exchange for a higher quality set. No way to do that unless you risk paying shipping both ways. No way to ask questions on best course of action. There are too many other online suppliers that offer a live person to answer these types of questions and free shipping or a simple return policy. I hope the replacement part arrives soon and works. Then I get to spend my time arranging the core returns. I also ordered a power steering gear and hope to do that job when I have the from wheels off for the brake job. I'm a little nervous ( with the quality of the part and possible return, not the job.)but keeping my fingers crossed. I will be using other supplies from now on. I tried but way too may hoops to go through to get an answer to a question. They (the recording) say it is to save money but they are sure making up for it on return shipping. I'd complain but there's no one to complain to. The concept seems simple enough until it's not.

I ordered the wrong part my fault. since I took it out of the package to check fitting they will not return part. Will not order from them again.
prices are always good just don't ever have to return to them. The process takes forever and they wont return it anyway. I would have gladly paid return shipping.

A few years back I bought the car I had been looking at for a while. A 2003 saab arc. Spent a lot of money getting it looking the way I wanted it. Rims, stereo,coil overs,interior trims,exhaust and paint. The car was sharp looking for sure but then my clutch went out so being short on cash I heard rockauto was the place to go. I ordered my parts and got them installed only to hear a lound rattling noise that goes away when the clutch pedal is pushed in. Thinking the mechanic that installed it was at fault I brought it to another shop. They said it was the throw out bearing and it would have been faulty from the factory and they have seen it before. I contacted rockauto the best I could but they were no help. After spending all my money on towing and shop fees I was broke hoping the company would work with me but nope. They said order a new one take the old one out send it in and if they find it was defective they would cover it. Well that's fine and dandy if you have the $1000 to spend on it but I didn't. So rock auto I want you to know that you 100% ripped
me off and screwed me over and i wish you nothing but the worst.

I obtained info about Rock Auto from someone replying to my thread on ClubSciontC about my front end replacement (hard or easy?)
After comparing prices with a ton of other websites, Rock Auto had EVERYTHING I needed AND were definitely the cheapest!
Toyota: roughly $1200.00 (parts only)
From a mechanic: $646.00 (parts only)
Other sites: ranged from $500-$600
Rock Auto: $199.37 + $19.88 for shipping
(I added so many other estimates for you to actually realize how big the difference was.)
I was truly amazed at how much the parts were.
My total cost went from $2,771.01 (1st mechanic for parts and labor) to roughly $500 (once I get my front bumper) because the work was so easy and I did it myself.
Rock Auto saved my pockets and I am truly greatful.
Also, the parts came in within the week of ordering them so my car is now fixed and runs even better than before the deer! I will definitely be going to Rock Auto for most, if not all, of my future car needs and I am going to tell everyone to always check here first!

A lot of times, I would like to order multiple items, and they would be shipped from multiple locations. The shipping cost is killing me. Since time is usually not critical to me, it would be nice if these can be centralized as 1 shipping to save me the shipping cost. Thanks

Never again. 12 days no parts. $40.00 shipping and no response from Rock Auto except sending me to website for no new info on where my order is and when it may show up. No phone number to call them, all online with no help. Never again. Not worth saving a few bucks as you might not get parts when expected ad well as don not promote this bad, non caring business model

Ordered several parts from Rock Auto recently for several of my 6 autos. Great prices and quick shipping. All parts fit perfectly and so far no issues. All seemed to be of good to great quality. I WILL be using them again and have already recommended them to family, friends and co-workers.

Open you delivery immediately. I got someone elses order. No phone number or Email support to call. Can only return or reorder part(s). Now Im desperate and need these parts quickly. I will have to pay for expedited shipping to satisfy my timeframe of completion. Posted a review on their website, but of course they're not going to post it because its negative. If they would only pick up the cost of making the order correct and expedite, that would be fine. Because of their screwup, I have to pay .41 and a trip to the post office too. Thats not a big deal compared to the fustration...BEWARE, but great prices...See, I am fair....

Great place for parts. Stop here first for your comparison shopping. Prices are very reasonable as is the shipping costs. If you have to return a part it couldn't be simpler. Four stars as they are somewhat limited on '04 Suzuki Grand Vitara parts, mostly as the parts are very hard to find in the U.S., even from the dealer. Outside of that, it's a great place to shop.

I've been dealing with Rock Auto for over 15 years. You just can't beat their comprehensive inventory, sensible pricing, and quick delivery. Their vehicle specific flow chart parts catalog makes it difficult to order the wrong part. I am a customer forever!

Never a problem when I buy from Rock Auto. Parts always received before anticipated delivery date!!!!

Unsatisfied with condition of shipped body parts. Parts recieved were as bad as parts j was trying to replace. Shipper took my info but after 6 + months I have had no luck recooping any money for the hood. $90 plus dollars to buy the hood on Rock auto and $100 plus for shipping. I would have been better off going to a body shop and paying for it to be fixed or going to a junk yard.

I go to Rock Auto for most of my online auto parts. Decent quality and great prices. I can find what I need easily.

Thumbs down Rock Auto for your call center agent. Going back to local part stores only. They do not require EVERY part to be shipped. That equates to waiting for your part. If the part you receive is incorrect, MORE WAITING to return part and then receive new part. Hopefully that one is correct. If you can actually find a number to speak with someone about a question/ problem you have you will be asked to submit a request and you will be contacted at a later time. If you happen to wait on the call you will be then informed you can speak with someone. The person I spoke to was neither friendly nor helpful. You guys need a more user friendly site.

I like the prices, the OEM parts and my order it was here a day earlier than I was originally told. Rock's Auto Rocks again.

I am a Rockauto parts customer since 2011. I never have any problem with this place. Great parts, great price, great customer service, on time delivery without hassle. The best online auto parts ever. My favorite.

Ordered red power coated calipers (whole Brake kit including rotors, pads, and calipers) and received the calipers that were packaged poorly resulting in a chip in the powder coat. They say it will still function, and only solution is a $10 refund or I can buy another set, and then return one set. Sorry I'm not wealthy and can't afford to buy unnecessary purchases. All for something that was their fault for their poor packaging. I think they may have gotten too big and their service is being compromised. The brake kit is a $350 brake kit, which this isn't my first purchase. I'm obviously a paying customer. Thanks for a chipped caliper.

I ordered a keyless entry remote w/ transponder for my vehicle and it never worked!! I tried to program it several times and the remote never responded. I even took it to a dealership just to see if they could program it and they said the remote does not even work! Not to mention it's past the 30 days since purchased so needless to say I am out of my money. I don't even want another one from this company and I feel totally ripped off...I will NEVER order from Rock Auto again!!!! And it would not let me give 0 stars!

Terrible company, had to get BBB involved to resolve issue. They could care less about providing good customer service. Refused to accept any responsibility. Will never shop at RockAuto again, I would rather pay more than take my chances.

After 15 orders, I can honestly say I am extremely pleased. I read a number of 1 star reviews from people who obviously do not know how to make sure the part is correct, blame others for their mistakes, or have trouble doing a simple search.

I have had to return a defective part, and also deal with the people behind the web page. (real old school humans!) when I realized I ordered the wrong part after the order was processed. They have always been reasonable and fair.

The prices just cant be beat.

i ordered a part on feb 13 tracking showed i wound get it on the 16 but fedex delivered it to the wrong place rockauto said i have to wait till the 24 now i dont have nothing to drive for 8 day never buy from them again

I have ordered twenty four times(I just checked orders on their website and was astounded with my shade tree mechanic purchasing) and have been satisfied with the cost and shipping of parts. I have had to substitute parts after ordering on two occasions when they turned out to have none in inventory. It was smooth and different parts were shipped. I have returned parts on two occasions because I ordered some I didn't need. I have called about a broken piece and received a complete new assembly at no cost as a result. I can't recall any problems I had that weren't resolved quickly and in my favor. I have found cheaper prices a couple of times on Amazon and ordered their since I pay for Prime shipping. Rockauto is the first place I go to check for prices. I suggest that you study the pictures carefully and call their customer service if you have doubts about your application. You won't be disappointed.

Clutch spline diameter advertised as 1 3/8 inch, in reality is much bigger, close to 1 7/16 inch. As the item took time to arrive due to the crisis and fitting was not done right away, then there is no warranty. Also customer support said they cannot guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been modified and are no longer stock and closed the ticket on that note.

Rock Auto doesn't honor their warranty we bought a compressor and it didn't work when we installed it and instead of giving us our money back they wanted us to buy other parts before getting our refund. I would not recommend using them.

I purchased a 300.00 piece of electronics from Rock, it came in damaged, tried calling, they have no live customer service representative and I also couldn't send back because they want it to be returned in the box it came in. They don't tell you this prior to ordering. Do yourself a favor "DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH ROCK AUTO"

so ordered new muffler two weeks ago going to save couple buck they sent the wrong one then they tryed to tell me i ordered it wrong I HAD TO CALL THEM TO STRAITEN IT OUT they told me that they will send the right part out and there is some one there to make sure that the same part would not get shiped out Well today the same part came in the mail right side muffler not the left like I ordered

Ordering parts is great and easy. the prices are great. the quality sucks, and the customer service is nonexistent. my part broke just 58 days in so the 30 day return policy is way to short. manufacturer warranty? sure that covers the part, but I have to buy the part again, then hopefully wait for a refund, not to mention that I have to pay for the shipping. and since its the family car I would have to overnight it at a cost of hundreds of dollars! so where did my savings go?
Never again, will I use rock auto.

Absolutely terrible customer service, RUTHLESS NO WARRANTY OR RETURN POLICY FULL OF GOTCHAS TO PREVENT YOU FROM RETURNING BAD PARTS. They will happily guarantee you part fitments but DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PARTS AND SUGGESTIONS. My 2013 Subaru Forester is UNDRIVABLE due to bad suggestions for 4X Monroe QuickStruts that DO NOT WORK ON MY VEHICLE. The spring rate is so badly off by DESIGN it should not be offered at all!!!!

I have ZERO RECOURSE EXCEPT BUYING NEW PARTS AGAIN and attempting to claw my money back. NEVER HAVE I BEEN TOLD I HAVE TO PROVE WITH PAPERWORK THAT THE WRONG PARTS ARE IN FACT WRONG. Most REPUTABLE COMPANIES do not fight with customers who spend THOUSANDS $$ at their business. I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN DO BUSINESS WITH ROCK AUTO OR RECOMMEND THEM.

This parts company is the worst one I have dealt with. I ordered the wrong part when I sent the part back to the company with everything. They said it was scratched and missing the hardware. They refused to even try for an exchange or refund of any kind. So I had to send the $40.00 to send the part back to me. When it only cost $28.00 to send it back to them. And when I did recieve the item back the box wasn't even sealed on either end and yes it now was missing the hardware. And there was not a scratch on the parts. I would not suggest this Company to anyone.
