I obtained info about Rock Auto from someone replying to my thread on ClubSciontC about my front end replacement (hard or easy?)
After comparing prices with a ton of other websites, Rock Auto had EVERYTHING I needed AND were definitely the cheapest!
Toyota: roughly $1200.00 (parts only)
From a mechanic: $646.00 (parts only)
Other sites: ranged from $500-$600
Rock Auto: $199.37 + $19.88 for shipping
(I added so many other estimates for you to actually realize how big the difference was.)
I was truly amazed at how much the parts were.
My total cost went from $2,771.01 (1st mechanic for parts and labor) to roughly $500 (once I get my front bumper) because the work was so easy and I did it myself.
Rock Auto saved my pockets and I am truly greatful.
Also, the parts came in within the week of ordering them so my car is now fixed and runs even better than before the deer! I will definitely be going to Rock Auto for most, if not all, of my future car needs and I am going to tell everyone to always check here first!
