American Airlines cancelled my flight. So they put us in this hotel. To be honest it was over the top for a 1 night stay. Really fancy cant complain about anything. I was only there for a few hours so the night stay was great that's all I did. Just stayed there for the night and it was good.

Who will believe to what happened with us!!

Who will believe to what happened with us!!
My husband kept his luggage in the room, came back from dinner to know that his two bags are not in the room anymore.
We filed a complaint, cops came. They did not show the cctv footage to us or the cops and thus no result.
The bags had all our expensive gadgets.
We lost it and what we hear from them is an apology?
There had to be an access card to reach the floor! When you book rooms at these expensive hotels, do you really expect this?
Not even in our bad dreams we thought that this could happen. We lost our passport too.
We had such a terrible experience where we literally received no help from the hotel. Nothing! How can a hotel like this be so unsafe? What if a kid had gone missing from the room?
We had to go through such hurdles man. Never ever staying at this hotel. And just can't believe what happened.
The worst experience ever.
I don't blame anyone here, but who else has access to the floors, to the rooms? We lost so much and I will never forgive hotel for this. I want everyone who books room here to be alert.

Great hotel, great service. Very close to the airport. Nice bar and restaurant. Rooms are very spacious and cosy, large bathroom and good storage. It has a Starbucks on the first floor and a lounge on 16th. Pool, Sauna and gym with most of the common machines. There is an airport shuttle and the personal is very friendly

It was a really fancy hotel but not for people with kids. And they charge an insane amount for parking in their parking garage while their shuttle is free it s not worth the parking expense. They don t put that on their website either.

Great hotel, had an office suite and def enjoyed my stay. Came here for my girlfriend graduation. The lady down stairs EXTREMELY rude and catty to another woman and couldn't think 3 feet in front of her but didn't spoil our time. Oh yeah, they have REAL weights. No chicken bones.

Room was immaculate and the service was excellent. Platinum premier club on floor 16 was nice and the staff delightful - although it was irritating to see a dozen people having a very loud and rowdy Cubs game party (though it was somewhat understandable as it is Chicago, and the Cubs were playing the Dodgers for a shot at the World Series.)

Our stay was very pleasant except the check out.
What happened:
when we arrived to the front desk there was no one to talk to ...after a few minutes
Dalia ,the front desk manager arrived but she did not acknowledge us neither asked if she can help us, very disappointing. She was busy talking to her coworker. I thought the guests come first. After I asked her to help us she finally turned to us and took our keys back and gave us the final recipe. Overall all employees who I interacted during check in and during our short stay seams not happy to be there except the gentleman at the front door who asked me if he can help with my luggage during check in.

The entire hotel's interior design looked like brand new. I liked the wall papers, the carpet looked like was very fresh and clean also the front hallway fireplace very dramatic view. I just wish to have more time to enjoy the bar and the restaurant.

Otherwise our room was large , nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing, the sheets on our bed were clean . The bathroom was large with very spacious shower, we had enough clean towels in the room. We had just one bottle of water in the room for two people, it was nice to have a small refrigerator in the room.
The Bonvoy Marriott app is actually behind and late with responds. An hour after I checked in I got a message on the app that my room was ready for check in. You need to work to figure out how to get the updates to the client's account on the app faster.
I think the fee for the parking was too expensive especially for the Marriott members.

The Hotel barely speaking English driver from o'hare singled us out of fifteen individuals to ask for Reservation number. We were the only ones asked that, and I had to phonetically spell my name three times. We are/were Marriott Elite members. Manager didn't even care when I pointed this out. My entire company is no longer booking with Marriott!

This is a beautiful hotel targeting business travelers, conferences, and airline-stranded passengers. The two-room suites are designed with murals that make them seem extra spacious. Bath amenities are high-quality Aveda products but given in grudging quantities. There are no outside restaurants that are easy to walk to, which is frustrating given that in-hotel dining is pricey with limited hours. The airport shuttle comes reliably every half hour, and 24-hour transit is available with the Blue Line just steps away.

The location next to the airport was convenient and it wasn't too far from downtown either. Chicago traffic isn't ideal (from a large town, not a large city, so this was new), but we made the best of it. Good, clean, modern room. Ours was a king bed with a pull-out couch. The time between asking for more towels, pillows, etc. via phone and them actually arriving took longer than expected more often than not (had to call again 45 minutes later once). Service overall was good besides one curmudgeon at the front desk who was downright dismissive of our questions. I was not expecting to be charged for parking or for breakfast, especially so much, but Chicago appeared to be like this in general. Again, I'm probably just not used to how things work in such a large city. Overall, nice, modern, clean hotel. No real complaints besides what seemed like extraneous charges.

Hotel was adequately located near CTA and O'Hare. Rooms were updated a little with new textiles. Starbucks was a great addition with the Asado Grill. Staff was courteous and prompt even with the busy nature of the hotel. Thanks for a great stay.

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend for a single night. We had requested a room with two beds and they messed up and instead we ended up with a single queen size and a couch the pulled out into a bed. Needless to say it was uncomfortable to sleep on.

The other thing I hated about this hotel is that charge you for all the amenities other hotels usually offer free. Furthermore there were no signs about parking but we were forced to pay to park in there garage which was 24 bucks or your car would be towed.

Free Wifi? Nope, 12.95 a night or 16.95 for two nights etc.

Free continental breakfast? Nope. You're looking at 12 bucks for a breakfast panini or 18.95 for the buffet.

You will be better off staying elsewhere and will be saving some cash by doing so.

Stranded in Chicago after Winter Storm Grayson prevented us from getting home after family vacation to California. I stay at quite a few Marriott properties and this one fell a little short.

The good-

Free shuttle from airport.
Restaurant food good.
Pool area and hot tub good.
Starbucks in lobby (not my favorite but people sure love overpriced coffee)

Need Improvement

Lobby could be so much better. Fake fire pits that looked like tv screens. Huge mural of people on the wall above that just did not go with the decor. The entry ways not laid out well as the doors would remain open when people coming in and the lobby was always freezing.

Water pressure was non existent and could not take a shower.

Toilet clogged and took several calls and eventually going to the front desk to get a plunger to fix.

Was put on top floor that was supposed to come with an executive lounge with coffee and continental breakfast and was told it was closed for the week when we got there. That would have been a plus if it were open.

Front desk seemed confused at times and not very knowledgeable about the surrounding area when we asked about things to do on several occasions.

Would probably not stay here if in Chicago again and not sure I would book a Renaissance again as well as this was my first experience with that brand!

Everything is nice about this hotel. Beautiful upgrades. Room is clean and spacious. The only negative part of this hotel is that they rake (rape) you on the parking. Makes no sense to charge so much for a room and not including parking.

The hotel was clean. There's a Starbucks in the lobby and it's a short walk to the Cumberland blue line. However, they charge $30 per night for parking, which we did not see listed on their website and no continental breakfast. Next time, we'll stay at the Holiday Inn about 5 or 10 minute walk further with free parking and breakfast.

For whatever reason our reservation did not include the last day on our itinerary, so we were required to check out and check back in, which while was not overly inconvenient - caused a housekeeping issue where our room was not cleaned for that day. We had television issues/remote issues and had to deal with the inconvenience of the elevators not working for part of an afternoon. We also had housekeeping wake us up to deliver towels and pillows that we never requested.Otherwise a nice room and decent hotel for the most part...they did "correct" the situation by awarding my wife's loyalty account 10k points. I'm not sure what that's worth, but a hotel of this quality is not expected to have Motel 6 gaffs like we had...either way, it is what it is...That was our experience...

The hotel is a very nice facility! As far as the desk customer service, it was outright terrible. No sympathy for a customer's issue. I was locked outside of my room and one of the ladies at the desk didn't show any sympathy or compunction to help resolve my issue. She seemingly didn't care to help me in any shape or form. It took one of the maintenance guys to come up and help me resolve this issue. He got me into my room and was extremely helpful! I certainly don't plan to ever spend a night in this hotel again!

Spacious and comfortable suite! We ended up in Chicago overnight due to a flight delay. A shuttle runs to and from the airport every 20 minutes. The concierge was helpful and friendly, and the food from the bar was excellent (we had burgers and subbed fries/chips for potatoes au'gratin). The bed was comfy too, much appreciated during our unplanned stop!

Attended a wedding here. I have to give high marks to the staff. They were very courteous and kind. We had a few challenges that were unexpected. The staff really took good care of us, even though we were just attendees at the wedding. The space itself was lovely. I do think some things could have ran more smoothly, but all in all, the staff was instrumental in making it a memorable night.

Close to the airport, but right on the transit line with direct access to downtown. Shuttle service from airport. Rooms are well-appointed, with fridges and microwaves. There is a pantry off the lobby with good selection of fresh foods and snacks. The restaurant has a good menu, and reasonable prices.

Really the only knock on this hotel is the lack of easy access to outside food options. Rooms are very spacious with a nice work desk in the main area. Bedroom is a little small, but there is plenty of space in the bathroom and main area to compensate. The restaurant is very good, but of course, chargers hotel restaurant prices. Bonus, there is a Starbucks in the lobby, right next to the front desk. The blue line stain is literally a two minute walk from the front doors. Very convenient!

Rooms were nice, location was close to the airport and transit options. Executive lounge was closed during the weekend, which seems to be the norm in North America. Staff were.friendly and breakfast was above par.

Terrible management and high charges of parking takes you surprise while you can park for 11 dollar they charge 30 dollar overnight parking. They also take you ride saying they will not charge but they actually charge it regarless. This hotel must have financial probelmes and looking for hotel guest to take care of it. Terrible if you find a space near by stay there do not book as plenty of othrer options in the same area is available. Staff is not professional and treat you badly . Around the world I stay amny hotels and yet have never seen staff demanding charges and telling you this what it is. Look at all your options in the same area before booking on this one . you do not want a staff misguiding you. You are athe guest not hostage.

The room was over priced for the size the toilet was noisy the air conditioner kept turning on every minute ( we timed it ) there was no complementary water bottle or wi-fi and,we had to pay for the parking full price for the entire stay I wanted to cancel they said I could but would lose most of my money so I was forced to stay and to top it off we had noisy people next to us..
I will not go back or recommend the Renaissance Chicago O'hare not wort it..

The rooms are very modern & comfortable; can use extra attention to cleanliness and in room safety i.e. dust, linens, door locks and in room safes. There is a lounge for reward members it is closed on Saturdays and Fridays closes after breakfas 10:30am. The bathrooms are spacious. The lobby is inviting and there is a Starbucks too. Transportation is complimentary 24 hrs from O'Hare Airport. Gym is small but workable located downstairs. Majority of staff very friendly and hard workers. Relaxing.

Really nice hotel. Great location to Rosemont offices and ideal if a quick trip, as it's so close to the airport. The Front Desk person was super unfriendly and acted as if I was taking her from another task. It was very off putting. The brightside is, there is a Starbucks so that was very convenient.

I was extremely happy with the room, the price, and the service. This room was one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever had. Awesome shampoo, thick killer towels, sweet glass shower. Really a nice looking room, clean and smelled nice.
