The Marriott Northwest is a very nice hotel, in walking distance to Suntrust Park, and slightly less comfortably, to the Cobb Galleria Center. Room was very clean; I opted out of cleaning for a couple nights to get extra points. My only real complaint would be the noise. Location was definitely a factor, I was on the lower floor directly across from an elevator, and I heard many guests come through after the Brave's game ended. It was loud enough to bother me, but not enough to inhibit sleep once I feel asleep, and I have very sensitive hearing. The event night was also a factor, as I'd guess people don't usually come in waves at such a late time unless there is an event such as that going on. I would recommend this hotel for the price and area, but be mindful of your noise tolerance.

On a positive note, I had to talk to the front desk a few time for unrelated reasons, and the clerks were very kind, helpful, and courteous. Very easy to approach them. Would rate them 5/5.

booked a room through Priceline, was not 4 star as guaranteed the rest of the property may have been, but our room was sub par to 3 properties I've stayed in. we had problems with a server and food quality, when we complained they wouldn't take responsibility because we paid cash, and hotel wanted us to go back to the restaurant and eat free, the same one that was rude and made my sister sick! then they told us since we booked with Priceline it wasn't their problem! Priceline couldn't resolve the issue either. they said there was no compensation offered. I never asked for any compensation, it was basically telling me they don't give a f$! after all of our problems we should have at least gotten an apology from management who never came out or called to follow up. The guaranteed 4 room had full sized beds, no fridge, charger near the bed, microwave, nothing, it was not an updated room, there was rotten baseboards in the bathrooms i should have stayed 3 ... it was also $12 to park all the way in the back and vallet rubbed it in that we're gonna have to walk... I do not recommend this hotel! This is also the first time I've ever complained about a property Priceline had referred me to or been treated sub par for using them... Times are changing! service industry is shot!

Very outdated hotel with tiny rooms. Ridiculous parking, not only expensive but confusing, AND a very long walk back to the hotel and to your room. Terrible hotel layout, looks nice when you enter near the restaurant then you hit the terrible corridor to the rooms and it goes downhill from there. I'm never staying here again, worst hotel experience I've had in the area (I travel here for work). I'd have given it a 1 star, which it was based on expectations but honestly there are some real dives too I guess and this isn't that bad - but I certainly would never recommend it.

Great hotel with a great location, within walking distance of Sun Trust Stadium. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We love to catch their shuttle over to our favorite restaurant, and no problems having our favorite wine because they always come when we call at the end of the evening!

A lovely hotel for a business trip. But once the business is over and I want to watch something as simple as the news... There's no signal. Early morning, Luke-warm shower, housekeeper came to my room twice within an hour time frame. Overall, hospitality is great! Staff are friendly and the morning breakfast is pleasing to the tastebuds... The eggs are pretty questionable.

We celebrated our honeymoon in Atl, at this hotel and loved it! The staff was very pleasant and made sure to always greet us. All questions were promptly answered by the front staff. We had asked for a specific room and it was reserved for us. The first day our sliding glass door was stuck and wouldn t open. Management sent security to look at it and the next morning as promised, it was fixed. We were comped breakfast because of it. The room was plain, but was nice and clean. We waited for the shuttle to the game, but decided to walk instead. Next time we are in the Atlanta area, I would love to stay here again.

Service was wonderful, the loud guests next door we're not. Not really the hotels fault they we're loud and they were removed after refusing to quiet down but I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep after the Cubs game and celebrating so I had to knock a star off. Sorry.

Clean and adequately furnished. Two minor irritants; $12 each night for parking and $5 for a bottle of water in the room. Whatever happened to complimentary items in hotel rooms? Seems they are now a thing of the past! Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Love the hotel, great location. The ac is loud, But it kept me cool. :) The Front Desk staff is the best, helped me print out items and even punched holes. Was there for a Family Reunion, great food and the food staff was good. Clean room, nice guy brought us some towels. Great place to stay.

Great service. Great atmosphere. Some of the conference rooms tend to get hot(even in winter) but other than that cool atmosphere. I'd say it's an mid-upscale hotel not necessarily a luxurious one but still nice.

I always enjoy my stay! top notch service from the front desk, attention to detail and close proximity to major interstates and Downtown Atl. Now that construction has been completed, the bar and restaurant area are finally proper hang out spots during my stay....

This hotel had a highway and construction on two sides which made it difficult to get to. The place didn't look that nice, especially for a "4 star" hotel. The room wasn't restocked fully from the last guests, no fridge, microwave or coffee maker, and the room we reserved was out so they asked us to settle for a different one. We got out money back and enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt

The front desk staff here is exceptionally pleasant to deal with; always wearing a nice, warm smile. The facility itself itself is immaculate, and gorgeous, and the rooms are just as nice. I would definitely recommend this Marriott location to everyone.

Clean, friendly, overall fine. Room clean, staff friendly. Slightly overpriced room but there was a baseball game that night and the hotel is walking distance to the park.

Hotel bar was packed after the game. Service was not good, but they were understaffed for the amount of patrons.

Coworker has Marriott status so we got free breakfast. Would have been disappointed if I had paid for it.

During my 6-8 December 2019 stay at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria, one associate went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Her name is Keyana.

Thank you Keyana!

Nice, clean, quiet, with large free parking and valet. Has outdoor pool but didn't use it so can't rate it. Flatscreen TVs with netflix, hulu, youtube, pandora, cable channels too. Need personal accounts to access services. Big lobby with very nice personnel. Free WiFi. Has bar and restaurant. Room service available. I would recommend this hotel for their quality to price ratio in that particular area. Paid 117 with tax for 2 doubles at time of this review.

Nice hotel will stay here again. Great proximity to SunTrust park and the shuttle to the stadium is a nice plus. You can easily walk to and from the stadium and in the crowd you can make it within 15 minutes. Nice location in a nice part of town. Very friendly staff

Booked a double and got a king, came here for a convention and was told we needed to buy breakfast vouchers? I booked well in advance and they did this to other people. No microwave or fridge in the room and get charged over 20$ for a burnt burger. Never again.

First I d like to say that the rooms are comfortable, the amenities lovely, and the service was good. But, this is not the place to go if you have concerns about COVID. Last evening there were three different groups hosting events in the foyer/lobby, just opposite the check-in. There were approximately 15-20 people in all. No one was wearing a mask. One group was playing a game of cards, the others were simply visiting. These same groups were still present two hours later when we came down to retrieve a blanket. The elevators have signs outside the elevators to inform people to maintain a 6ft distance. No one pays attention to the signs. We wound up in the back of an elevator that kept filling with people. There are no signs inside the elevators themselves. The elevators are such that only four people should be in the elevator to be able to maintain the 6ft requirement; a sign or four inside the elevators would be much appreciated. Being an enclosed and small space, a mask requirement would also be super helpful.
