Cool hotel within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. Rooms are either on the city side or in the inner lobby area. A huge aquarium is installed in the lobby area which unfortunately was just renovated during our stay.
With luck in the allocation of rooms (we had it by accident), there are also rooms with a view of the television tower.
Staff friendly and courteous.
At breakfast nothing was missing.
Price / performance for Berlin standards absolutely fine.

Great hotel I had a room directly overlooking the cathedral. Very central location good breakfast. Really recommended.

For a hotel of this category I think the rooms need a proper makeover. The remains of countless bottles or whatsoever visible on several surfaces though cleaned. Bathroom is not recommended for people with problems of movement as you need to shower in a deep bathtub. Nice bar and very friendly and welcoming staff. Proper located for a trip to Berlin anyway.

The aquarium they have in the center is impressive, but it's too expensive for a pocket like mine

I was very disappointed with this hotel. It has a huge fish tank in the middle but it is really the only thing that is nice and clean, besides that you can not visit it inside, only if you go to the sealife that is next to the hotel and you pay the corresponding entrance. We go a huge tube of water in the middle of the hall that you can only observe its beauty, ok. But the worst was not this, but sleeping there my son, husband and I, we woke up with flea bites all over the body. We ask for room changes, but they are not very clean! Being the hotel that it is, it is very dirty.

The hotel is placed very close to the Spree River and all sorts of transport hubs making it convenient for all our touristic explorations. The interior is fantastic, there is a massive fishtank dominating the internal area with a choice of balconies on that side. The rooms are clean and very quiet. Room services a bit of a hit and miss but overall I would definitely recommend.

The best here is not the unbeatable location next to the beautiful Berlin Cathedral, but the hotel bar! Although I live in Berlin but really like to come with my friends for a cocktail in the atrium bar. The team at the bar is just great and creates the cocktails with so much passion and creativity. From season to season, there are always new variations. The bar managers seem to have a taste for it!

At check-in on 08/28/2020 around 11 p.m., we were treated by a Radisson employee in an absolutely untenable and unprofessional way that I had never experienced before and never imagined. In the aftermath of the incidents, management was inadequate.

The hall with the central aquarium is very special. Rooms with beautiful views of the Duomo.

The staff, hotel and location is 5 star quality, nothing is too much like late check outs and rooms are clean and spotless. Even wee things like ordering a drink at the bar they give you a selection of olives, nuts and just generally make you feel special. The aquarium inside is something else. Great for a romantic getaway and guarnetted to impress.

The lounge asthetic was phenomenal but the tiramisu was very underwhelming

Reception was more in the cold and special way (all Berlin style).
Room for clean and with the AquaDom in the middle already with special flair.
Breakfast was extensive and the service was also friendly and attentive.

We are currently still here, the hotel in general is brilliant and the staff are very good just a few niggles that could be addressed though, that I feel the staff or management haven't maybe tried their hardest. The main problem being the pillows. The pillows are too soft the second your head hits them they go as flat as pancakes. Even with 3 I'm waking up with a sore neck and tossing and turning all night. We were told that's the only type of pillows they have, the staff member we spoke too wasn't too interested in my concerns. I suggested they buy firmer pillows, as I'm sure we are not the only guests that are having this issue. I'm currently using the bath towels under the pillow to give it some hieght. It's a shame as I have no other issues. I'm adding to my review and knocking it down a few stars. The pillow issue was rediculous. I had the 4 worst nights sleep in my life due to the pillows. They compress as flat as pan cakes my neck is now really stiff and to be honest ruined the holiday. I won't be going back to this hotel. Myself and my friend are pretty disappointed at the lack of customer service when we suggested the hotel purchase firmer pillows, it's clear from other reviews the pillows have been a long standing issue.

The only let down was the terrible air conditioning in the room. It is 34 degrees outside and the air con has been st in max in the room and left running all day but yet it is still warm inside the room. What a disaster. Everything else was great. Room is spot on and clean. Breakfast location was great to be able to sit alongside the river but the breakfast options were ok, have had better.

Beautiful hotel with a lovely bar on floor level. Staff are attentive and friendly.

Everything was great except that the cleaning staff kept trying to enter the room. We put a do not disturb sign outside and they came in anyway multiple times (we double checked it wasn t the please clean now card).

Class ambience. Despite the high rooms, the Entre causes by the huge aquarium a touch of coziness. One is encouraged to linger. Nice service, good food and very good rooms. Just a great hotel.

All in all I would have expected more from a 5 star hotel. The huge aquarium in the middle is cool but the rooms are nothing special and the breakfast decent. The 'SPA' is rather small.

In its hall you can enjoy an immense aquarium while you have a beer. Attentive and pleasant staff. Definitely worth a visit !!!

We were 7 nights and we were fine. Maybe the details should be more careful. For example: they forgot twice to load the coffees with milk etc ... and some more unimportant little thing. The very correct cleaning the very correct attention too and although they say they speak Spanish this is not quite true. There is a waitress who speaks Spanish but has to be on duty if you have any problems. The views are beautiful. We asked for a room overlooking the Spree and they gave it to us. The bed very comfortable but of course, this is going to taste. Breakfast very varied hot and cold dishes and in summer that breakfast in front of the cathedral overlooking the river is fantastic. I recommend it.

Overall excellent, therefore I will only mention two negatives I have encountered:

-On entry a certain amount will be booked on your credit card to pay the city tax and services that are liable to payment on exit. This was unknown to me before my arrival and should be communicated more clearly online.
-The indoor pool lacks an attendant. Especially with children in the pool during all times of day this is a safety hazard!

Otherwise I can only recommend.

High quality building with amazing aquarium lift. Directly next to many sightseeing places, especially the Berliner Dom and Berlin TV tower. Public transportation is a plus too. Food court next also a plus. Sight to the spree river is very nice.

The view to the aquarium was amazing. I couldn't forget that experience. Definitely want to be there once more. One issue was that the lobby was really noisy during an event. But if you want to watch the fish all night you should accept that.. Noise-isolating windows worked somehow fine.

Have been here with 5 nights. Fine cleaning however lacked small towels and hand soap one day but 5 minutes after we had said it was a brand new set and toiletries supplied. The hotel is very central. We didn't use public transport at all. A pair of good walking shoes is recommended. Was here New Year's Eve. Noise from the road is minimal. You don't hear others in the hotel. Great holiday :-)

The room was clean and tidy. We really have enjoyed the spa services. It's location is really convenient for many of the things we are doing. House keeping is kind but sadly we had to wait over an hour and a half and make a second call when we ran out of TP in our room.

Why didn't I give five stars? First of all, it seems to me that just visiting Berlin, when the hotel is basically only for overnight stay, is not worth overpaying. There are tons of hotels in the area - some of them half the price offer really very similar Standard rooms. The location is quite good indeed, very close to the river cruise and various museums and the TV tower. The rooms themselves are not very big, I have come across a cheaper hotel where they are bigger. In the era of the coronavirus, the swimming pool was also open for limited hours from 1pm to 8pm. This is the time when you cool down around the city in the summer, visitors stay in cafes. In hotels, I usually go to the swimming pool in the morning or late in the evening. Therefore, in this case, I consider the opening hours of the SPA very misplaced. As for the interior of the hotel, it is very interesting mainly due to the large aquarium which is part of a larger exhibition of underwater life that begins at the end of the building. However, the whole hotel is a bit depressing. It is similar at the pool, it looks a bit like we are sitting in a dark basement, not very pleasant. Therefore, if you are looking for a hotel where you will spend a lot of time, I would seriously consider whether to use the Radisson's offer. There are many hotels in the city with much nicer interiors. When it comes to moving around the hotel, the problem is with elevators, especially in the era of coronavirus, where a maximum of two people can move the elevator. We used the fire escapes frequently so it took a long time to get the elevator. The parking lot is under the hotel, you have to look for a place on it yourself. There is an elevator from the car park to the reception and rooms. In the rooms, apart from the standard equipment, there is a coffee machine and capsules are refilled every day, you can also call the Service and ask for a coffee or milk supply, everything is included in the price. The plan that took our luggage from reception to our room informed us that the drinking water was not refilled, but apparently I was wrong because we got new bottles of water every day. The beds and linen in the rooms are of very high quality. Would I stay at this hotel when coming to Berlin as a tourist? Definitely not, for half the price you can find very nice locations, very good hotels that will be a great base.

Nice views from the balcony, basic hotel, but I expected more. Some of the houseburners had not been replaced by the previous one when they opened, there was some hair in the bathtub and the previous one had apparently moved the beds together while one was still on our arrival and the other from the bedside tables in the middle of the room. We booked a room with a jacuzzi and a double bed, got single beds and a normal bath (apparently due to our late arrival time at 8pm, had given the room to another if I understood it correctly).

really lovely hotel and quite the special place due to the amazing 1.000.000 litre 16.000.000$ aquarium in the lobby. We had a room on the outside with a view on the dome which is really nice but next time i would request aquarium side. I expected to like it when booking but I was truly amazed everytime i got to see it. The rest of the hotel is also good. great breakfast, nice rooms with really good insulation (closing the balcony door shut out all city sounds and hotel sounds are also almost non existing). only thing that was not 100% were the beds, i slept well but they moved too easily on the carpet and a bit small 2x single beds. all in all would sure recommend it and would come again.

The hotel is greatly located for tourism (although too touristy in my opinion). The lobby is too white and cold, although people seem to be amazed by the fishtank. Rooms are old and furniture looks damaged. For a top hotel it lacks the high end feeling.

Pretty good hotel. But I left something in the room and they didn't return it to me. (Thanks for replying. It's only a tooth brush charger. I called reception twice when I was still in Germany, but got hang up twice right after I said that I didn't remember my room number. I was about to say my name, but didn't have the chance...)

The bar has really delicious cakes, I already came here twice just to try new ones. I recommend to take advantage of the special offer: 6.50 for cake + coffee. As a bonus, you also get to enjoy the sight of the aquarium

Very nice hotel with a huge aquarium in the middle of the lobby. 25m high and 1000 cbm of water. The rooms are available either with a view of the lobby / aquarium or outside. The cocktails are very well prepared and are between 10-15 euros.
From the hotel (which is located directly on the Spree) you can quickly reach the Alex, the Museum Island and many boat docks.

As you should consider when booking, if you are not better served with a different accommodation. The booking process was questionable, the service at check in / out amazingly unmotivated, the bar staff with the order overwhelmed, the room not properly equipped and dirty. Conclusion: it seems like you do not need new guests.

The best after the meal were the beds. One sleeps like on cloud 7. In the evening one can comfortably take a drink at the bar and talk easily with the Berlin employees and get some tips about the city. A lift ride through the aquarium is only with the visit of the Berlin Sealife but definitely worth it.

Stayed in this hotel for one night during a city break in Berlin. The location is excellent and is perfect for exploring the city by foot. We booked this particular hotel because of the enormous indoor fish task. Our room had a small balcony which overlooked the fish tank. At night when the lights are dimmed you can see the fish swimming in circles around the tank as you lie in bed, it felt as if the room was underwater.
The room was clean and of a good size. We were impressed by the service and by how polite and knowledgeable the staff were.

People pay money to visit the aquarium in the lobby of this hotel. You'll be able to admire it every time you take a glass-wall elevator to your room. Breakfast was excellent!
