Prestman contacted me. They offered to pay for the new belt. My salesman actually came to my house and took the Pilot to Salt Lake so they could go over the vehicle again. I definitely didn't expect that. It is still unclear what the root cause was/is. But that's where we are now.

My family and i drove 9 hours to get the car that we wanted. After arriving, we were welcomed by the finance manager and the general manager. They were very nice and even were accomodating to my 120lb family dog. All in all a very nice experience.
Great working with Prestman on our car purchase this week. They were fast, no pressure on the sell, and we appreciated all the services they offered. Plus we got a nice massage while we waited (massage chairs).
The one thing we weren't as happy about is the "detailing" of the car they said they would do after purchase of the vehicle. Though they called it "detailing" it didn't actually look any different than when we test drove it that same day before we purchased it. We were disappointed in all the details that were clearly missed.
They have nice cars, great prices, and was super friendly with no pressure or hassles.
I just bought a 2013 GTI at Prestman Auto. The experience was a good one, had great service from Trevor Durfey who mad the process as stress free as possible answered all the questions I had. Recently bought a Truck from Prestman, never been unhappier in buying a vehicle. Do not trust the Bluestar inspection services they use, flew in from out of state to find the truck windows did not work, parking brake did not work, batteries were faulty. I was very fortunate to get the vehicle back to my home state, during the drive home many, many more issues reared their ugly head, frame was bent and was told there was no frame damage, the back panel of the cab was caulked together and came apart during the drive home, they gave partial refund for this but not nearly enough to cover frame replacement let alone fix the cab. Since i have found that the truck was pieced together(wire harnesses in doors butt spliced and falling apart, fuel lines kinked and not repaired, missing brackets on fender wells) after the accident just get it sold and i was the loser in this hole ordeal, so disappointed. Use extreme caution with this dealer!!!!!!!!!!

It would have been nice to know before we purchased the car that there was only 1 key and there was no manual in the car....it was good though that we didnt have salesmen harrassing us to buy.
I've been searching for a particular vehicle for quite some time and in a wide radius and came across one at Prestman and called to inquire. My first question to Alec was why so low a price and he immediately explained the branded meaning, etc. I did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions and Alec was great about answering any I had for him (Trevor too!). I decided to go check it out and since I was flying in from another state, Alec came and picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership where I inspected and test drove the vehicle which was not just "pretty" but "sound". I liken buying a car to having oral surgery... very painful! This was, by far, the best car buying experience I've ever had. Thank you goes to Trevor, Tracy, David and Dave for being so helpful, but most of all... THANK YOU ALEC! Even as busy as he was, he made sure that I was comfortable and even checked on me to make sure I made it home ok. How many dealerships do that?

2014 Hyundai santefe. Just this week we test drove this car and asked for a out the door price. No calls back no nothing. Called them 2 times made sure they had my name and number still nothing. Guess they don't want to sell me a vehicle! Terrible service...

But I'm disappointed that I didn't get 1000 for the trade in car so that's why I gave this review 5 stars! ;) Travis was patient and kind he apologized a million times because it took 3 hours till we walked out with my new car, but that's okay they were super busy. I'm glad I got a good deal with my basically new 2013 Honda civic, it was in fantastic condition and only had 2300 miles! I'm still sad I was not able to get the ILX I wanted but I'll definitely come back in like 5 years if you guys end up getting a different ILX that doesn't have scratches from fake nails. :) Thank you a bunch!

As someone who has purchased more than a few cars (and worked with plenty of car sales people) I can say that working with Prestman was a great experience. Trevor Durfey was a consummate professional while still maintaining a sense of humor. He helped us get the vehicle we were after and worked to make all the pieces line up to make it a smooth transaction. All of the staff I met were friendly and professional. No stereotypical "Used Car Salesmen" there, which was very refreshing.

Worst car buying experience ever. They will lie just to sell a car and then once they get their money you are stuck with all of the problems. They flat out lied about financing & things they would fix on the car. They also messed up the paper work with the title and because they had been paid wouldn't help fix it. I probably spent a total of 8-10 hours trying to work out problems they created. Wouldn't want my enemy to go through this hassle! 7 months later and I am still trying to fix the headlight with wiring problems they assured me they fixed. SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND SANITY - DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!!

some people treat their car like the Mona Lisa, or will pay big $ for the perception of ultimate security. I don't think either are realistic, or healthy. As a senior mechanical engineer in a $30B company, I treat cars like machines. At the end of the day, ALL mechanical systems will eventually break down, including all cars. In other words, I look at cars like investments to be used. I just bought the 'luxury' model of a car at a very significant discount to a new one. To put it in perspective, with the savings I received, I could replace the entire engine on my new car. But the probability of me needing that new engine is very low (but cannot be eliminated for used cars - or even for new cars). Some people won't touch a branded car because of their extreme need for a perception of security. I'm more of a cost/benefit kind of guy. While it's very difficult to trust a car salesman, I do think they are fairly honest with you here. I do think, relatively speaking, that their buyers are good at filtering out cars that won't have major issues (frame, etc).They'll tell you exactly what you are getting and aim for pleasing the customer in an old fashioned business model of making sure they provide a product of equal or greater value that what you paid for.
I've put ~1000 miles on my car and it still drives like a new one.
Easiest car buying experience I've ever had! Nate was fantastic about helping me find the perfect CLA 45 AMG and being available for any questions I might've had. The entire process, start-to-finish, was seamless - from walking in and test driving the car, to financing, and walking out the door to my new car. I wouldn't recommend buying anywhere else.

They have a wide selection of vehicles and will get you in the vehicle for a test drive. The offer complimentary drinks which is nice and have a nice waiting area.

I asked for information on a specific car. A salesperson responded via text. They didn't have it anymore. They asked what I was lookin for in a car so they could find one like it. I stated"Unless it's what I am looking for, I don't want it. So it will be a waste of our time. They proceeded to send me links to 2 different cars that were not what I was looking for. When I asked for their name they refused to provide it. These guys are shady af.

You re buying a polished turd when you buy from Prestman Auto. As long as you know what you re buying it is what it is but after you drive around you quickly find out that the polish wears off and you re just driving a turd.
We bought a CRV in 2015. We thought it looked and drove nice. We ve been driving with a loud rattle noise in the back cargo area ever since and the paint has oxidized to the point that it would make a 1974 AMC Gremlin green with envy.
I will never buy from here again nor would I recommend Prestman Auto to anybody. I don t believe the value they try to sell is there.

I bought a car from Prestman in February of 2014. As I drove it off the lot, I noticed an airbag light was on. They had me bring the car back. They kept the car for a day and said it was fixed. The light was still on. They told me to bring it back. That time they kept it for 2 days. The light was still on. Frustrated with not being able to drive my new car, I waited until September to bring it back. As of right now, it has been 5 days and I still don't have my car. I haven't gotten a call back from them in 4 days. I've called every day to see where my car was at. Yesterday I learned that at 3:30 PM, they dropped it off at another dealership for repair. I spoke to the service manager, who promised a call back. I still have not received the return call. They won't give me a time when my car will be done, or even a day. I just called the other dealership. They've made multiple calls to Prestman to get an authorization and can't do anything until Prestman gets back to them. This place is a joke. If you want a great deal on a car, I can't fault them there. Understand, though, that with salvaged titles you will most likely need work done and, if so, DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
By the way - I'll bet most of these reviews are BS. They offered me free services if I would review them positively online when I bought my car.
UPDATE: a few days later and still don't have the car. I can't get a call back from them, so my wife called and has been speaking with Marshall. Today they told my wife that the problem has been diagnosed and should be fixed. They also brought up this review and asked us to take it down. My wife brought up the fact they aren't reaching out to us with updates. Marshall told her that they can't be taking time every two hours to call us for an update. My wife let them know that she wasn't looking for that - one call a day would do just fine. I called the dealership they sent the car to in order to find out what the problem was. They mentioned that they don't know what the problem was yet. Due to the miscommunication somewhere along the way, I told them just to get my car back to Prestman so I can get it back. After speaking with Marshall, he told me I could come get my car and 'vacate the premises' and gave a thinly veiled legal threat.

Great deals on almost new cars due to branded titles. They happily will show you why the title was branded and what was done to fix it. Travis was an excellent salesman.

Good experience overall. I purchased an Acura TL in December and was not met with any sales pressure when I wanted to look at their cars. I got a great car and paid a lot less than I would for a non-branded title. I took the car to the Honda dealer and had it inspected and they said the repairs were very well done and they could barely tell that it had been in an accident thanks to the quality of the repairs. Be aware that you may not get floor mats, a second key, or an owner's manual since these vehicles go through and auction lot where these things are sometimes taken. But with the money you save, this is well worth it.
My only complaint is with their key maker, Matt McCaskell from High Tech Locksmiths. The guy is a total flake, will not call you back or respond to messages if you want to get a an extra key made for your vehicle. After a month of trying, I finally got an appointment by working around his schedule and he skipped the appointment without any notice. If you need a key made, you are better off going to the oem dealer.

My wife hated car shopping until the experience with Dub and the low key and how much he respected your space. She has a great respect for this dealership. We love our new car!!

This is our second car that we bought from Prestman the first one being from the owner. The first car buying experience was great so we were expecting the same the second time around.
It is hard because I would say a five star with Alec but with the financing mgr and the salesman that jumped in and misguided us so i would maybe give a 0.5!!! because one of the salesmen jumped in in the middle of the deal and ruined our experience!!! We had been working with Alec who was great very knowledgeable and helpful. We had been working with him for about a week. We had decided on a car and went in to pick it up we were waiting for Alec to finish up with someone when another salesman came over and he said that he could take care of us, that they were all on the same team and he could work the same deal as Alec could we told him we would rather wait for Alec and he still pushed the issue!
we informed him that this was our second purchase and that we were told that there would be a returning customer discount and he told us to talk to the financing mgr he told us that any deals that needed to be made would have to be with the financing mgr... which is a different story then what he had originally told us! I HATE DECEITFUL car sales men!! Which is one of the reasons I liked Prestman Auto because they were honest and STRAIGHT UP!! however this situation was not. The sales man and the financing mgr were rude! We were told there would be no discount! We were told that there would be no warranty unless we paid for it! Our last car warranty was given to us! I thought we were getting the 100,000 mike warrant however after the fact is was only a 50,000 mi warranty.they did give us a small break in price on the later. When we asked for our second set of keys to the car we were told only one! NOT HAPPY! We left with a horrible feeling i called and talked to Alec about the situation and he had no idea what had happened!! They did not even tell him we were upset!!! He then tried to smooth things over with us and take time to help us and try to make us more comfortable! he advised that he would get the dash board burn taken care of (it was missed in repairs) and do what he could to help us! We also noticed that on the back bumper above the muffler that the car was all scraped up!!! Needless to say that that we have mixed feeling about this deal! Again this review is for the second sales man and the financing mgr!!!! NOT ALEC! There will be another review for Alec!

I did a lot of research online before going out shopping so I already knew which vehicle I wanted and that it had a branded title before picking up the phone. Todd Palmer was the agent who took my call and handled the sale. I was very impressed with the "zero-pressure" attitude. He only took the time to make sure I understood what it meant to have a branded title and to answer my concerns about the extent of the previous damage. I was even more impressed that for the test drive he simply handed me the keys and said, "Have fun!" I kicked the tires, so to speak, for nearly 1/2 hour before taking the test drive and wasn't interrupted even once. He also didn't even blink when I asked if I could have the car inspected by a mechanic.
Only two things were less than ideal. First, the final fees included a couple of surprises. One was the vehicle protection etching fee (for security engraving on the car parts) and the other was the transportation fee (for bringing the vehicle from California where it had been wrecked and repaired).
Second, my previous two auto purchases were made much simpler by the fact that the dealers participated in a Credit Union network and could pull up my pre-authorization with my CU and complete the financing on the spot. Prestman doesn't do that so I had to spend the additional time to wait for the CU to cut the check, go pick it up and then finally complete the sale.
All in all, it was a positive experience and I will certainly consider them again for my next purchase.

Maurissa was amazing to work with. I appreciate the way she went out of her way to make sure that the car I had called for was ready and available for me to test drive. My wife and I have a growing family and it's important for us to make sure we have a second, reliable, large vehicle. Maurissa's help was absolutely necessary in making sure we were properly taken care of.

I just bought my new car from Prestman Auto. The team there was fantastic. They were more than willing to help me with everything I needed, no matter what time of day it was!! Not to mention that I love my new car! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new vehicle!!
The sales reps at Prestman were great to work with and informative and overall I'm happy with my car purchase. I am however, disappointed in how my financing was handled. I let them know right away that I already had an application with Mountain America and did not want my credit pulled again. I left that day with the understanding that they used my original loan application, did not refill my credit, and that is how I got my loan. Come to find out they pulled another application with Mountain America and repulled my credit. Just got a call today that my original application was still open. Quite frustrating that my credit was re-dinged when it didn't need to be. The entire financing process was misleading and I suggest being clearer with customers in the future. I will also be submitting the report to Mountain America and the CFPB.
