I have bought several cars from CJ Prestman. They always take care of me. Working with Fernando and Tracy this time, and they by far exceeded my expectations. Would do business again in a heartbeat with them.
My husband and I have been looking for new cars for a while now specifically a Jeep because our family is growing and we wanted something with more room. I scheduled an appointment online for the following Saturday at 1. Saturday came, we show up the Jeep was waiting for us out front started and warm. (how ever it was filthy inside and out, I was really shocked they didn t have it cleaned knowing we were arriving and it was missing all floor mats.)
We test drive it around the block, it drive great in the end we liked it it was a fair price for a Jeep and everything it came with I felt I was t downgrading from my Lexus. Anyway, I m not new to the car buying process I know it takes a while but this took waaaaaay way way way to long. We were there for nearly 5 hours. (1-5:50pm.) It was ridiculous. I noticed people going in and getting new cars with in an hour or 2 so that was irritating.
(At least they had that sweet shop dog cooper to keep our son entertained majority of the time.)
We finally got everything done and over with
They washed the Jeep and at cleaned up the inside the best they could. I asked was if they could order floor mats for the Jeep for us since we were purchasing a vehicle, told us no which was annoying but what ever proceeded to tell me to look an amazon.
I also asked if they could fill Up the car with gas before they handed over the keys because when we got there the sales rep explained that the owner had been driving that particular Jeep for personal use so it was low on gas, they said yes they would fill it. put a quarter of a tank which was REALLLY suprising to me. Probably about $20 if that. (I ve never purchased a car from anywhere and had them not fill up the tank for me, it actually really bugged me.) when I mentioned something the sales rep then said well we have limits on what we can put on the card so I did what it would let me do I said okay....? Before we left I had questions with some of the features and he didn t really know about any of the features I had questions on soooo that was kinda frustrating also the Jeep needed an oil change I mentioned that they said yeah you can take it to a jiffy lube and get that taken care of. Hahaha at that point I was just over it and ready to leave.
At the end of the day the Jeep is fine. It s nice. It s a Jeep.
Our experience was subpar. Idk if We will ever buy another vehicle from them simply because the experience was not the best.

Trevor Durfey was absolutely remarkable in the way he aided my wife through the process and got her her dream car--2013 Lexus RX350. My experience was just great and I will definitely look to Prestman Auto for any future car purchase. We recommend this company 100%. We even got a T-shirt!!!!
Decent selection and nice place. Didnt really like the guy I spoke to in -person though. He was cool over text but cocky and super opinionated in person. They do have on-site service shop and fancy interior design.

Bought a 2015 Ford Explorer sport with about 26000 miles on it. I was asked to leave a review before leaving the dealership. I didn't want to leave a review until I had put some miles on it. I'll start with the pros. The staff was nice and did stay after closing to sale us our vehicle. It seemed like a great car until the weather warmed up. The Ac didn't work , has suspension problems and the transfer case is leaking from every seal possible. Less than 2 months after purchasing this vehicle we are already into it over 500 dollars with the crappy warranty. It's a pretty car but not worth the problems it's already had and now I'm worried about what else could be wrong with it. I get buying a previously wrecked vehicle comes with risks but I thought this dealership held themselves to a higher standard. Very disappointed
great customer service! Business was booming and so we had to wait for the finance officer longer than we had expected to - we were offered food, drink while we were waiting and free oil change coupons due to the wait.
After I worked through my initial terror of potentially buying a car with a 'branded' title and did the deed, I was very happy! Prestman was confident and straightforward, allowing me to do what I need to do to trust their business model. I find them to be of high integrity, providing a quality product and very intelligently filling a market niche that allows not-too-damaged cars to be repaired and put back into service.
Had a great experience buying my first new car here! James worked with me to help me get a rate, and price I felt good about. I had spoken to another dealership in town, and immediately got a terrible salesy vibe. Never felt like that with Prestman, and I will definitely be back someday when it's time to trade in or upgrade!

Went in to Prestman not really knowing what to accept. Carlos Cardenas was our sales associate and from the very beginning super nice guy! He made everything really easy and stress free. He wasn't there to sell us a car he wanted to make sure that we saw what we wanted without the pressure of buying right then and there.
After we chose the car we wanted Debbie with finance helped us get all of our paper work together and being firstime buyers she wanted to make sure that we knew what we were paying for.
Over all our experience with Prestman was great my husband and I plan on going with them again.
Purchased a great vehicle at a great price from 1000 miles away. Working with Brad (sales) and Tracy (financing) was incredible. Trying to organize all the information required and they're willingness to stay in contact with me after working hours comes with a very high dose of gratitude. Was able to fly in, get picked up by the dealership, and drive off with no hassles in 2 hours after being picked up. Only dealer across all states willing to back their vehicles with an incredible warranty. Would highly suggest and will go back for our next vehicle.

I have been looking for a vehicle for a long time and found Prestman Auto online. I would use one word... AMAZING, the whole experience was amazing. Our salesman Jeremy was amazing, he was friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions timely and put not only my mind at ease but my wife as well. He never pushed us or made us feel like just another number he made the experience outstanding! He did such a good job my brother wanted his number for their next car! I checked the inventory that prestman had on their Website. From the first interpretation, to walking out the door with a new CTS V. They couldn't have been more professional. I hadn't bought a new car from a dealer in many years and so I was expecting the same old dirty salesman tricks. Not the case here, I looked at this car for more than a week and after many phone calls to Trevor he answered every question that I had. Trevor made my experience flawless, I would recommend everyone look into prestman auto when purchasing a vehicle.

The point is I would recommend friends and on to anyone looking for a vehicle to try Prestman Auto out and see for yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Had an amazing experience here buying my car. After being treated so poorly at another dealer the week before I was a little wary to try again but these guys were great. Chris and Colin helped me buy the perfect car and treated me so well even though it was pretty busy. I would definitely recommend this place!
While I had initially reviewed these guys 5 stars, I have to change it and this is why: During my sale these guys were so great to work with, however once I was out the door I had issues with the battery to our vehicle. It needed a jump start during our test drive and I was assured if there were issues to bring it in to get replaced. Not thinking anything about it I completed the sale, with the purchase of the warranty, and I was gone.
A couple weeks later the battery was not consistently starting the car, it would sputter 3 or 4 times, then start. I had it on the charger, needed to jumpstart a couple times, the battery was definitely dying. After attempting to contact our salesman for a few weeks, we had to purchased our own battery.
Other than this issue, the car has been great, but I would make sure everything attached to your sale is in writing! Do NOT let these guys over promise you too.

I am not one that trades-in or swaps my cars often, so I want a nice/reliable vehicle that will last a long time. You will not find better VALUE anywhere else. When purchasing my new car (Cadillac CTS), I had a couple of things they agreed to accommodate. None of it was in writing and they followed through with everything I asked, without any hastle. And in response to vapers perry s comment about knowing the salesman s names: It is not uncommon to remember someone s name when they are a pleasure to work with. I enjoyed working with Sales Manager Pete and salesmen Alex and Alec. You want to make sure and mention them by name in a review. This helps others know who to ask for when they go in so that they can have the same experience. That is the purpose of a review. I came here looking for a specific car, and I couldn't be any happier with it. I looked up the vin on Google and saw the pictures of the crash that originally totaled the car and they did a great job bringing it back. It drives like new and the mechanic could barely tell it had been in a accident. Got it at a great price, however, they do not budge on their prices, and never felt any pressure while being there. I also traded in my old car and they gave me a great price for it. Trevor, Todd, and everyone else there I talked to made everything extremely pleasant and easy.
Prestman Auto was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Cliff answered several phone calls and showed me many different car options. They are very upfront and honest and show you the CarFax on any car you ask about. The process of finding the exact car I was looking for was enjoyable and not once did I feel pressured at all. I came in on a Monday and returned Thursday because I felt like Prestman had a huge selection and hands down the best prices around. Getting financed was quick and easy and they offered a competitive price for my trade in. I'm in LOVE with our Ford Flex! There was no complaints here at all and we will go to Prestman auto for future car purchases.
They were so thoughtful and caring about my needs and with my concerns. Not only was the process easy and quick it was mire than I expected. I walked away with so much. Everyone listened to me and they made me feel appreciated.

We were a little nervous buying a branded titled car but we were able to see the car before it was repaired to know exactly what the damage had been. Since their niche is buying high end cars and restoring them, you can get a luxury at a much lower price.
The process of buying a car is usually frustrating and tiring. But the experience we had at Prestman with Trevor was wonderful. And we love our new car!
Got a decent deal on a F250. It only came with one set of keys and they didn't know the door key code and would not reset the code. They also would not put fuel in the vehicle. I bought a vehicle and they wouldn't let me have a full tank of gas, it had less than 1/4 of a tank.
A well operated business. Will be using again and Debbie is a class act.

We bought a new suv a few weeks ago from Prestman Auto. We got there and they were changing the oil and replacing the tires so we had to wait while they finished. The car has been great no issues at all. Jeremy was great to work with and the service staff did a great job fixing an issues with the car. It did take two days to get the parts and service done, but they were more than happy to deliver the car 200 miles from the dealership. Overall great buying experience and will definitely go back next time we re in the market.

We had purchased a car at the Prestman Lindon location in January, so when we needed another car we looked at Prestman first. We went to the SLC location and bought the second car we looked at, and Fernando took really good care of us. I have recommended Prestman to several of our friends, and I will continue to do so.
OK, so check this out - if you're afraid of branded titles then this is not going to be the place for you. This is what Prestman Auto does for a business - they sell branded title vehicles. OK cool, with that out of the way let's move on. My experience at Prestman was nothing short of rock star status on a Friday night. Except it was a Thursday, but that's not their fault.
Before ever going in, I was able to chat online with them straight from the KSL website about the car. Hooray for technology! My sales associate, Trevor, was as chill and polite as could be. He never once pushed on me, and he took the time to answer every tiny little question I had, even though it meant staying way late after closing.
The car I was buying was a Subaru WRX, and I've owned a couple in the past. Pretty rad, right? Well one of them I owned for about 7 years. So I know a lot about these cars... With that in mind, the one I test drove at Prestman responded and behaved exactly as it should. It passed with 100% on my inspection of the engine bay, exterior and interior.
The first thing Prestman did was show me the car fax report and all the details on why the car had a branded title. In my case, this included minor body work, but no airbag deployment and no engine or structure/frame damage. Given this info, I felt good about seriously considering the car.
They offered me a 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty for a very fair price. This showed me they have confidence in what they're selling. Let's face it, a lot of used car places won't do that. I actually declined the warranty though because I am confident enough in the car.
When I told them I wouldn't buy it without a full tank of gas, Trevor pulled $40 out of his wallet like a ninja-champion-warrior and gave it to me to make sure I had fuel. He also threw in several free detail services, extra shirts, etc.
Now... I my case I knew a lot about the WRX before ever buying it. Like I said, I've owned two in the past. I know how to drive them and work on them and I know about common problems that exist with them. I'm happy to say the WRX at Prestman was no worse off than a non-branded one, and possibly better in a number of ways. So in the end I felt really good about buying a branded title because I knew what I was buying is actually a great car and I'm getting every bit of the same thing sitting over at Nate Wade's lot downtown - but for much less money.
If I had been buying a car I wasn't so familiar with, you can bet I would have taken it to a mechanic or even to a dealership to have it looked over and approved. Needless to say, Trevor welcomed this, but I didn't feel the need to do it with the WRX.
So folks, let's be honest here. You're buying a car that for all intents and purposes has had something happen to it. It's up to YOU to make sure what happened isn't something drastic and that you're not going to have excessive problems. Take it to a mechanic if you don't know the car, just to be sure. However, I sincerely believe Prestman Auto attempts to pick cars that won't give you excessive problems. If they didn't, they'd be out of business by now trying to fix all the lemon cars they sold in order to honor the warranties they offer. Which brings me to my last point - get the warranty if it makes you feel a ton better. It's a fair value.

Not your typical used car company & definitely not your typical "used car salesman!" Trevor Durfey will be my car guy as long as he's in the business.
Very few people look forward to being sold & that was my biggest fear in shopping for a car. From my very first contact with Trevor & Prestman Auto, I was impressed. I was treated more like a client instead of just some customer. Trevor did exactly what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it & his followup was impeccable. Even walking into the showroom was a different experience. It was clean, bright, well decorated & didn't reek of used car lies. I had very specific questions, particularly because of their unique niche in the market. Trevor took the time to answer them thoroughly & made sure I was comfortable with their product. Never did I feel pressured or goaded into making a decision. They even stayed a little late (during a big basketball game!) to get me the car I wanted.

I took the day off work to go test drive a Viper for an appointment I had. I was instead greeted by a man named Cliffton, who proceeded to give me the worst car-sales experience of my life. I simply wanted to inspect the condition of the car and make sure I'm even interested in it. A simple process, except that it took 25 minutes to see the car. I asked questions about how they do business (whether they mark the price up and negotiate or have solidified pricing, how the inspection process works here, etc.) and was responded to with absolutely asinine levels of smart-ass remarks and snobbishness. Halfway through our conversation, he threw a keyboard to me and told me to do a hard-pull credit check before I even got to look at the car. I told him I wasn't interested and that I simply want to see the car.
Long story short, I was treated as if I were a child for the entire duration and he seemed to doubt that I was even financially capable of buying a $32,000 Viper. I drove a 911 earlier the same morning which was selling for well over $48,000 and they didn't ask for anything except an ID. They told me it was policy to run credit checks before any vehicles are test driven, which I know is not policy at all.
I was ready to purchase this Viper today, I came prepared with insurance quotes and yearly vehicle maintenance estimates. I knew full and well the pricing of the journey I was willing to embark on, but was treated like such a child that I'm no longer interested in even dealing with this location whatsoever.
Don't tell me to "come by for a test drive", have me go through the effort of making an appointment and taking the day off of work to visit your location and then tell me that you need to hard check my credit before I even see the vehicle. Completely wasted my morning.

Prestman auto was a great place to buy a car from. I can honestly say I've never had such a relaxed car buying experience. They gave me the keys for a test drive and I brought it back 2 hours later.

This is the second car our family has bought from Prestman Auto. I like that I don't have to haggle over prices. The prices are fair and the quality of workmanship is excellent. I took this car to my mechanic and they could barely tell there had been any work done on it. They said the car was in excellent shape. The bottom line is I don't want to pay too much and I trust these guys.

Be cautious - I bought a branded auto on line. I was told it was in excellent shape. It was not. It was a $30,000 auto I had to spend over $4000 to get in original shape. Now 6 months old I have another $2500 because the car was improperly wired when it was repaired so it shorted out and took out the cooling fan. None on of this cover by the expensive third party warranty I purchased. In addition it took over 10 calls and emails to get the title. Be Cautious !!!!!

It has taken me 6 MONTHS to resolve payment issues with the car.
They will not call you back. Ever. You will need to constantly call/text them asking for status updates.
They will not answer their voicemails. Please don't ever leave a voicemail for this company. They go into a black hole and nobody will answer unless you say you're interested in buying a car.
Customer service is worthless. After you walk out the door with your car, they'll treat you like garbage. Disappointed in my ENTIRE experience with them.

They'll push you to buy a car and make empty promises, then drop you so fast once they've got your money. My car had multiple issues that was preexisting to buying that they promised they'd fix and that the car would be issue free. And even after multiple service appointments, the issues have either not been resolved or have come back. But NOPE they won't do a damn thing cuz they have your money. Also, beware of their warranty, they won't tell you about the deductible until after you're in.

I'm only posting this because I want to. Another skeptic going in to learn about a Branded Title on a 2017 Subaru Legacy. And I thought I knew it all. My wife and I met with Jeremy and to our surprise Jeremy was full of knowledge and all the information to help us understand everything we needed to know. Jeremy went with us for a test drive to show us how all the cars features work. You would think he owned the car with his knowledge. We were very impressed! We went to only look and learn, and we left buying the car. I had been to another dealership and they couldn't warranty their vehicles like Prestman auto. All they had was a 30 day warranty. So if your one of those people who need to feel good buying a warranty just like a new dealership offers especially buying a Branded Title vehicle. This dealership is the one to go to. Very friendly and personable and not pushy at all. We highly recommend Prestman Auto !!! And if your lucky enough to deal with Jeremy he's the Man!!! Thanks Jeremy and Brad Clark who helped us spend all of our Money !
Car shopping is scary when dealing with your first time everything. Chase and Debbie were some of the greatest people I've ever had to sign my life away to. They don't bully you, they don't belittle you. They gave me all the info I wanted and needed and were extremely honest through our three day process of my decision making. I went to another dealership after Prestman to see what my options were and immediately felt broke and overwhelmed. Going back to prestman was the best adult decision I have made. They treat you with respect and have earned their place on Google.
Update- I've just purchased my second vehicle through the family at Prestman. The service is unbeatable, prices are amazing and the salesmen are gentlemen . Matt took exceptional care to upgrade my ride and get me into something even better suited to my needs than my previous, awesome purchase. I wasn't under pressure to purchase even though I went in for "a special event" . The team was easy going and more than willing to allow me to process and take my time deciding if I even wanted a different car. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the car I'd driven off the lot three years prior. Drop your defenses here and they will help you make a sound decision rather than stealing your wallet. No regrets. Highly recommend. Will come back next time .
My wife and I just picked up a 2009 Toyota Tacoma tonight from Tracy here at Prestman Auto. We got home, picked up our kids and took them out to eat in our new truck. They were so excited and so are we. We bought a great truck at a great price and to make things better it was a no pressure environment while shopping and buying! Thanks to Tracy and the other staff who were very helpful in getting us into the perfect truck for our family! I will definitely share my experience with friends and family.

Simply, "fantastic". Choosing the car was difficult as they did have a wide assortment of styles and manufactures to choose from. The high point of the process was from the Finance department. In all my car buying years, (and yes, there have been many) I have never seen someone like Ms Francis work so tirelessly, even on her day off, to find me the lowest possible rate for my loan. My husband and I drove from Rock Springs, Wyoming to buy an SUV we saw online. We called a couple days ahead and couldn't reach anybody so we requested a call back and never received one. When we got to Prestman,we found out they sell Branded Titles, which caused a bit of a hiccup with the Credit Union we got pre-approved with, so it would have been nice if somebody would have called us to let us know before we drove all that way. However, Prestman works with all sorts of Credit Unions so we were able to do our loan through Mountain America without even leaving the Dealership, which saved a lot of back and forth nonsense. Our Sales Associate, Marshall Bellm, was spectacular to work with (although I don't believe I really got the $74 off ;)). The whole staff was very personal, friendly and attentive. We definitely recommend Prestman Auto and will continue buying vehicles here in the future.

BMW x6. I bought the car over the phone from Arizona. I flew into Utah and Trevor Durfey was my sales rep. I bought the car without seeing it in person based off the phone call I had with Trevor. He was genuine and truthful and the main reason I made the decision to fly to Utah from Arizona and buy this car. Couldn't of done it without him.
I am updating my review. They get you to write a review when you complete the transaction so your still happy about the purchase. Thats why they have such high reviews. Now that its been almost a year and I'm still finding issues, I wanted to rewrite the review.
Dealt with Tracy. He is a nice guy but a typical used car salesman. Not the worst I have dealt with but definitely not the best.
I missed multiple items on the car I bought. Headlight mount is broken, missing bolts and screws all over the place, horribly scratched window tint, and there is not a straight line on the car. Tracy agreed to take care of it but the window tint is scractched again because the door is pinched from an accident. They replaced most of the missing bolts but every line on the car is still crooked and the headlight was never fixed. I have taken it back to them 3 times but I'm sick of it.
Overall, the price was not terribly high (other than the fees they charge, those are rediculous) and the car drives fine but whoever did the rebuild did a horrible job. Absolutely sloppy work. If you must buy here, be very thorough and take it to YOUR mechanic to have it looked over. It's easy to miss the sloppiness and poor quality.

Buying a car is not always easy but my experience with Prestman Auto was. Salesman was very helpful and non pressuring. You can test drive the car without dealer sitting in back seat and have the freedom to see how it handles on highway. Once we made a decision everything was expedited to get us on our way. No waiting around. I'm very happy with my car and would highly recommend Prestman Auto
