I had incredible service at Prestman Auto. As I looked at cars on the lot I was not quickly approached and did not feel any high pressure sales. However I did get all my questions answered and help that I needed. I worked with Marshall and had great service. He pulled all the reports, car fax etc on the cars that I was interested in and did explain each car. I have to say I was not an easy customer, but I was cheerfully accommodated. They made some concessions for me which was really going the extra mile. They did an extra car detailing, helped me Bluetooth connect my technology and much much more. Besides service, they also have some great cars. I looked up all blue book and consumer reports on the cars I liked, and they had the top models and the prices were incredible, like the 2012 Infiniti G37x at 14,232 miles for $21, 997 below the reports price suggestions. Anyway it was a great experience. Ask for Marshal Bellm

It s like they don t even want to sell their cars.

Let s start with the website
1. The website itself has almost a different number on every page you look at. I counted 5 different numbers to contact them. Then found the correct number for the lehi location on google.
2. They have this chat/text feature that connects you with a third party chat company that can t really do anything for you but tell you what the site says.
Ex: I asked if they had a couple vehicles available and all they said was i see them on the site inventory but to confirm i will have a sales rep contact you. Then they proceed to ask you for the info you already filled out when opening the chat.



Now here is my experience two days ago i used the following features to get someone to call me.
1. Chat multiple times
2. Text feature
3. Schedule a test drive
4. Contact form
5. I even filled out a finance application
Not even one call

***Some of this is lindon location only, however with the site and communication i do not recommend a company like this***

After waiting most of the day since i was working to get a call. I decided to try calling one of the numbers on the site to get ahold of the Lindon location and no answer. At this point I just decided to give it until the next day.

So next day I googled the number and called and finally got a sales rep. Told him i wanted to come today to test drive the car.. so i arrive at the shop and everyone was siting in the waiting room apparently bored af. So i take the vehicle for a test drive and i already know i want it because I ve been car shopping for weeks. So we come back to the dealership and go in to talk about financing. We can t do anything because the banks are now closed. So he tells me he will call me first thing in the morning after he hears back from the bank. So now we are on day three of trying to buy a car.. it gets to noon and i still haven t heard from him so i call him to see what the status is.. he tells me he will call me right back.. about 15 min later he asks if i have my last two paystubs and i say yes i can email them to you. And ask if they need the full social on them or not..almost 2hrs goes by and no response so i just email them anyways. And still not a response after another hour. So i finally responded asking if i needed to come in he says no I m waiting on the bank. By this time it s 3 in the afternoon... 5 runs around and he tells me an offer i then send a response and I m still waiting from hearing back from him.

Not only are their cars salvaged titles but theirs salesmen must be too.

Wanted to add an update to this: Its been over a week and a half and still no response ( i mean even if their was I wouldn't move forward anyways )

I just bought my 3rd car from CJ Prestman auto and I will never go anywhere else to purchase a car. My experience with Marshall Bellm was great! We started out by emailing so that I could narrow down the cars and then when I went in to meet Marshall and buy a car the process was painless, not like other car dealerships.

If you search for cars for sell with low miles on Autotrader, you'll see that most of the cars with the lowest miles and best prices are at CJ Prestman! Thanks guys! I couldn't be happier.

Really great costumer service before you sign any ...

Really great costumer service before you sign any paper work and buy a car. After you purchase the vehicle they absolutely don t show any type of gratitude towards one or atleast in my case. It has been 4 months since I ve bought my car and it broke down after a month and a half (1,300 miles) of using I ask for records that they have not yet provided. They also have not sent the title to my credit union which needs it because it s a breach of contract. Have not yet received my license plates or registration from them. (Once again it has been four months) my car is in their shop getting fixed through the warranty I bought for it and somehow the warranty has better costumer service than this place. Sometimes I call and they transfer me to a discontinued line which frustrates me!!! I call back and they take my number and say they will email the person I need to talk to to call me back later... they never do. Take your money elsewhere this business just don t know how to take care of their costumers after purchase.

We really liked the car- but our car advisor was 40 minutes late to our appointment, and we were in somewhat of a timeframe. He was irritated that we had to leave, and said he just needed about 45 more minutes to process things. We didn't have time. If he would've been on time to our appointment we set up with him we would've had enough time.
Not really impressed with the employees that sat around on their computers eating lunch that didn't bother to help us either. I have no desire to go back to Prestman Auto.

We went in intending to just take a look, not seriously considering a purchase immediately. There was absolutely ZERO pressure, they worked really hard, genuinely, to just find a way that things could work but remained non aggressive or pushy at all. The staff was simply fantastic. Additionally after looking at several of their vehicles, many of which had branded titles, all of them were in exceptional condition and they gladly showed pictures of the cars before and after repair if they had them, gave details about everything they could, and had detailed inspections with photos of them all so you know exactly what you are getting into. They even offered a three year bumper to bumper warranty on a branded title car for us. Hands down they were the best car buying experience I've had at a dealership.

We purchased our first car from CJ Prestman five years ago, and it's been one of the best cars we've owned. We've had zero mechanical issues, and the price of the car was several thousand dollars less than we would have spent for a clean title. We are now ready to purchase our next car, and CJ Prestman is the first stop we made. They have no haggle prices which I love, and super friendly sales staff. I was thrilled to see Tracy was still working there, as he sold us our first car, and made us feel welcome as soon as we stepped in the door. Highly recommend!

after seeing some of prestmans listings on KSL, i went to their website. i called on a 2011 camry that was about $4000 cheaper than anyone else's.i called prestmans and spoke with jorgen, who informed me about the dealership and the camry. i drove from wendover the next day to test drive the car and drove it home that night. i took it back the following week to have a rear suspension link replaced, four new tires put on(at cost), and am now a proud owner of one of the safest and most reliable cars on the road....my 2011 toyota camry.i've already mentioned prestman to some friends and co-workers and plan to purchase a truck with them in two years, if not sooner.this was, by far, the best buying experience i've had.

We drove down form Elko this weekend to Prestman Auto to look at a car we found on the internet a Ford Edge, before they had opened we drove through many different car lots looking at the same car, price, miles, and year but didn't find what we had seen listed at Prestman Auto. As we were looking at this car Trevor came out and assisted us. Trevor gave us the full report and history on the vehicle we were looking at, allowed us to test drive the car anywhere, and take it to any mechanic for inspection if we needed to. Trevor allowed us to decide if this was the car for me without giving me any pressure. We had done a lot or research prior to looking at this car, with low miles and great price you couldn't beat it. The loan process went very smoothly as well. Not only was Trevor great to work with but their entire crew was, they were very straight forward and honest from start to end. I would definitely buy another vehicle from this dealership again and recommend them to anyone. Trevor did a great job and what a good experience it was. If you are looking for a great deal, a company that stands behind their word and are professionals, call these guys up. I live in Alaska and found a smoking deal at Prestman Auto in SLC. Mario and Jeremey made this transaction smooth over the phone and via email. I flew out to SLC, got the keys and drove it home. There were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed and they stood by their word and fixed them. Daniel in service was professional and on point. We did a lot of research online before deciding on our new GMC Terrain from Prestman Auto. Alec answered all of our questions about the title and the SUV providing full disclosure on its' history. Although he wasn't able to finish with us, Tracy stepped in and helped us get our new SUV. Their customer service was great; they didn't pressure us or try to push the sale before we were convinced this was the one! The price, including the 3 year warranty was extremely competitive. I am confident we purchased an awesome car....we WILL be back this summer for my husband's new car! They had me to do a great review at first while I and my wife were buying the car. Little did I know 3 months down the road our car would turn into a lemon. We bought the warranty from them, so they could fix the vehicle when things go wrong. We had a leaky seal with the transmission & had been trying to get it fixed with our warranty. (which they said was covered) When we call they'll tell us how to get right back to us but they never do. We have called three times and have never gotten a call back. Very shady people. Avoid dealership at all costs.

My only suggestion for Prestman Auto is to fill up the tank with gas when you hand the car over. It's a big purchase for a lot of people and that would just be a nice touch that wouldn't be too much extra cost.

I normally do not write reviews, and if I do I only write good reviews, not bad reviews. However, the salesman Tracy asked us to write a review, so here I go. I probably should have walked away from the deal, but both my husband and I liked the vehicle and thought the sticker price was reasonable (not a deal by any means but at least reasonable). They state on their website and office that they have "no haggle" and "no dicker" prices. This is not true. They would not budge on the price for us; however, when Tracy sent us into the finance director (even though we still had questions we didn't get a chance to ask) THEY HAVE EXTRA HIDDEN FEES. The finance director had us signing the paperwork before he went over all the fees and total price so we stopped him and started asking. Then when we questioned a couple of his fees, he told us that he was very busy and if we wanted to rethink this we could go out and wait (after we had already waited OVER 40 minutes to talk to our salesman Tracy who just then sent us into see him). This meant we would have probable waited another 40 min and we had already been there since 10 AM and it was now 4:40 PM. They said they were busy but I didn't see many other people there.
Now for the fees: They charged us $299 for their "safety feature" which is a VIN number etched into all the windows. He told us how there was some theft on THEIR lot, so they have it done and now we pay it. We would NOT have needed this and just because THEY needed it done, doesn't mean we should have to pay for it. Pay for your own security system. Don't make us pay. When we argued with this (and the next one I will refer to) the finance guy said "it's all on our website". Made us feel dumb for not knowing we were going to be charged this. Well, I just looked on there website for over 30 min and can't find it. The only thing I can find is their "no dicker" slogan meaning what price you see is what you get. Well that's simply untrue and inaccurate. The other fee is the "destination fee" (do not confuse with the docking fee, which we expected to pay). The destination fee was explained to us as the fee that they have to pay when they buy the car from out of state and bring it to Utah. Well, that price was a price they paid for the car, and should be in the sticker price of the car. However, it was slipped in at the end. I am not complaining about the tax, registration, or even the docking or dealer fee. In total, with those two fees we paid an extra $669. That's not "no dicker".
Also, when we were signing things, they were all in my name. However, this is supposed to be my husbands car. I commented about this not being right, and the finance guy never offered to change the names, but kept shoving papers in my hand. No one ever asked us before they printed the papers, whose name should be first, but then he acted like it was our fault that they were in my name and was in too much of a hurry to even bothering offering to change it. They made a wrong assumption... and well, we all know that saying.
Next, we had questions for our salesman before we wanted to sign, but after we told him we'd buy the car via phone, we never got a chance to ask more questions. Via phone we did ask him if we could get the damage report from the car. He handed us a carfax report AFTER we got done talking with the finance guy. This does not have the damage report for any one who was wondering. Then, they only had one set of keys, did NOT even have an owner's manual, and never gave us the damage report. And did not help us set up the bluetooth on our new car (which is somewhat difficult to do without the owner's manual). We still haven't tried to get the right time on the clock.
Lastly. The wait was ridiculous. The couch we sat on was awesome, but no one offered us anything while we waited... and we waited MULTIPLE times. The last one was 40 min. I didn't even time the others.

Dealing with Bret Bond (sales) and Jeremy (Finance) exceeded my expectations. I did significant research on branded titles and had many questions, all which were answered in an honest and straight forward way. Buying a vehicle is one of the least favorite things to do but these gentlemen made it an easy and painless experience. Bret took the low pressure approach which was appreciated as I am also in the sales field and Jeremy put together a very satisfactory finance package.

They may have some good cars here but the sales people are dishonest. Alex lied to my face about the CARFAX report. Claimed to have pictures of the car at auction but it just googled pictures of the same model that had been in a wreck. Watch out for this trick.
