From start to finish Poway Honda were spectacular to say the least. My sales person Cortney and my Finance Manager, Brittany were OUTSTANDING!!!!! I have never felt so comfortable buying a new car in my life. They were very attentive to my needs and wants and found me the best car I could have wished for. CONGRATULATIONS Poway Honda, you are number one in my book and I would recommend you to anyone!!

I was helped by Kem this time and last time when I brought my car in for oil change back in April. With the pandemic going on still I felt the process was very easy and safe. I was surprised to see so many cars lined up before they even opened, but it was a Saturday so I guess it s to be expected. Kem guesstimated it would take about 1 hr and 30 min. Which I expected during a pandemic but somehow I only waited 30 min. SWEET! Thank you to Kem and the rest of the Honda team for keeping my Honda Civic in top shape.

I just recently bought a CRV and loved the customer service provided by Mickey Perez. He didnt mind that we didnt want to buy that day and did his best. He didnt treat us like a typical seller and was straight forward (not shady). This led us to buy the car the same day even though we weren't planing to.
This is the first service of my 2020 CRV. Easy to make appointment , service is good with reasonable waiting time .

Over all it was a good experience. They treated us good and were not to pushy. I even had to take my new car back to have some things looked at a few days after I bought it and they set me up with a rental right away. My only complaint was there was a very minor scratch on the trunk that I asked to have removed since it was brand new and there when I bought it. Even my sales rep took a picture of it before we left the lot the day of the purchase. They tried to tell me it was gone when I came back to return the rental...but it was not!! It was still there and I didn't appreciate being lied to. It was barely noticeable but I could still see it and I know they could to. I would have rather they been honest and just say we couldn't completely remove it and what do you think? Anything but lie and think that I wouldn't have seen it. I don't take lying lightly and I was offended they thought I was blind or to dumb to see it.
We bought a 2019 Odyssey and had a great experience at Poway Honda with Timothy. We got a great deal on our new car and also for our trade in and the whole process was pleasant.
I bought both of my cars here. Both times the process was quick and fair. We had a battery issue with our CR-Z we bought. They took care of it no questions asked. Also I called in to service but hung up because it was taking to long to get some on the phone. They called me back even though I did not leave a message.

Customer service is amaizing here! I live in Escondido and customer service is what keeps me going back to Poway Honda, since we got our Pilot there. For car sales I recommend Gary or Vincent. My last service person was Mike and I really liked him. He did not try to sell me something I did not need. I went in for a balding tire. Mike adviced me the tire did not need to be replaced. They rotated and balanced all tires to help the problem. Gary is their top car sales person. He is a book of information. We learned alot and he helped us decide on what to purchase based on our lifestyle. Vincent fed me part of his lunch while I waited!! I recommend you visit Poway Honda before visiting other Honda dealers.

Bought a Honda crv. The sales person Jason ,said that the wheel locks were 200 dollars "mandatory" found them in the glove compartment. Couldn't negotiate lower then price offerd on the Honda 2016 crv.
Bonus points for letting us use a rental car for the day. Bad for the fact that I left my handicapped card in the car and haven't gotten a return call.

I couldn't have had a more positive car buying experience. And I credit that to Mickey Perez. I had originally been referred to Poway Honda through the Costco Auto program in late summer. Mickey contacted me, got to know my car wants, and immediately got to work looking for my car. I wanted a very specific model, trim, and color (which turned out to be a bit more difficult to find than we had anticipated). But that didn t deter Mickey. We worked together from about late August to Nov 9th. And every week he would call to update me: tell me if he had gotten anything in that was close to my wants, let me know if he was working on any trades, and just let me know he was still looking for me.
Fast forward to Nov 9th, I finally had the car I wanted and the deal I wanted. I originally came in through Costco, and Mickey was actually able to beat Costco pricing! I had done my research and knew exactly how much I wanted to pay. I wrote everything down including how much I would expect to pay in tax, license, and fees, expecting to have to do some haggling. But they were actually very close to my expected price, and no haggling was necessary. Also unlike other dealerships that like to add "accessories" or packages on the car and charge you extra, Poway was honest and upfront without any hidden fees which I value very much. From the Finance portion of it, Mark was very helpful, and made me feel totally comfortable with the whole process
That morning, Mickey had everything set up for me, and even did a full car tutorial with me before I left. I drove of feeling very comfortable with all the buttons, features, and settings. I have bought many new and used cars, and never have I had a salesman take that kind of time to go over every detail with me. I also came in with my daughter and my parents, and Mickey did everything possible to accommodate them and make their time there comfortable.
So in the end, I got the SUV I wanted for less than I expected, and I had a great experience with all of it. Mickey was excellent to me and my family! Mickey Perez is an honest, hardworking, friendly, upfront kind of guy; who I would definitely buy my next car from. 5 stars all around!

My finance person was also named Michael, although I do not recall his last name. He was also respectful and wasn't too pushy on additions. I would definitely recommend him and this dealership to others.
Called the day before and they got me in at 10am last Friday. Had both airbags replaced and a free safety inspection including recommended work i was not pressured to have completed. A professional experience from start to finish.

This is my family's 2nd time buying a car from Poway Honda, and my first. I made my appointment with Poway Honda through the Costco Auto Program. The entire experience from starting my appointment to my car walk through to talking about finances was a pleasant experience that felt that there were no shady sales pitches involved. I feel that the staff at Poway Honda is especially aware that buying a car can be a daunting experience, so they do their best to be transparent about the whole process.
I luckily was able to get a 2017 Honda Accord LX well below the MSRP at Honda's special 0.9% APR. If you are a recent graduate, look into that program from Honda because you may qualify for credit towards your down payment.
Lastly, I would like to give a shoutout to Nathan. He was a bright spot during the entire experience. His hospitality and overall knowledge of the Accord really made the experience easier for me. 5/5 would recommend Poway Honda!

I got referral to this dealer from Costco Auto. the initial Sales, Brian something, contract and setting up appointment. But when I showed up at them dealership He was busy taking care of other customer.
But Michael Fein took care of us. I took test drive the CRV. Michael gave us the quotes. I did not buying car then just need time to sorting out the deals.
Brian e-mail me couple days later. On Saturday I setting up appointment with Brian again. When I showed up at the dealership not too surprised he took care of other customer.
So, Michale Fein stepped in. He took us to the upper lot to let us pick out the CR-V I want. Get back to the dealership took care of our old lease and paperwork for new car. Three hours that he put in his labor on this sale. And he did a ver great job.
Sales associate Raj performed an excellent service during the transaction. I am very happy with his service. Only thing i want to mentioned is originally he said my lease payment will be $211 a month but he later told me price was increased to $221.00 a month. May be the management could honor the original commitment price which would make me more happy and comfortable.
This delearship always provides great service whenever I bring my cars for service. Alvaro is great and always delivers superb great service to my car needs. The dealership always honor my coupons for oil changes as well.
Poway Honda Sales Team has allows provided me with flexible options when I need to get a new car on short notice. Recently, I had to "break" my lease within a year. Tess, a sales rep assisted me in getting a New Lease for a 2020 HR V AWD EX. And she advised the Financing Rep. that no "frills" were to be added. Since I set a MAX payment for the lease.
Tess and past sales rep. such as Rhodel, Jose that helped me in the past. I wish them well.

Very unsatisfied, unhappy customer. First my husband and I were told on the phone that when we return the leased vehicle that had very low mileage; they would pay us for those miles. That was a big LIE we found out when we went to this dealership. So did NOT want to purchase or lease another vehicle from this dealer so we decided to return this vehicle. When my husband return the vehicle, he spoke to a finance manager and she said we would not have any more payments. That was the deal when he left the dealership. Now we have a settlement letter from Honda Financial services requesting to pay our last car payment!!!! So my husband call the dealer, and gave him a run about from person to person and NEVER called him back. When I called today to follow up, I was told the manager is no longer working there and left a message for a another manager.
UPDATE:
I spoke to a General Manager regarding this matter. She told me what the car was appraised at and I don't believe how this car was appraised. I believe they appraised this car to make it even, so we would not get any money for having low mileage.
What we were told before the vehicle was brought in to what actually happened is completely different. Seems like this is a complete manipulation to get customer's money.

The car I bought had the tiniest scratch on it and Doc offered to come get my car on his day off (Thursday) and bring it to the dealership to get fixed then drop it back off at my office. great people here. had a great time working with Tim on getting the best deal with no pressure or anything. The first day I asked about insight and when figured out they have sold all available ones, I requested a test drive on one of the Accords. Tim was so helpful and never put me under any pressure to sign contract, run my credit history or anything else. I asked a lot of question and he answered them all even though he knew I wasn't there to shop on the first day. After visiting a few other dealerships I ended up coming back to Tim and got the best deal.
Bought car from lot in 03. Moved in 09, moved back in 21. Got car serviced - they had no record of my car. Maybe system change over the years, who knows.
Car AC and heat stopped working within 2 weeks of servicing. Schedule another apt online to come fix, even spoke on phone to rep regarding apt. No mention that diagnostics not done on saturdays. You would think their customer service would know this. Love the car but frustrating company to deal with.

Aug 2020 - Our battery was not holding a charge on our 2006 CR-V, so I took it to Poway Honda, as that was where the battery was originally purchased. I also wanted the KARR alarm disconnected. My service advisor was Mr. Nyphon Vue and he did an outstanding job getting my car serviced. He understood perfectly what I wanted, and kept me informed of the progress. He determined that the battery was under warranty, and so he had it replaced at no charge, and had the KARR alarm removed as well. Superb service all around at Poway Honda!
We have four Hondas and have been working with these people since 2006. We get good service and reliable work. Christopher and Mike were there to get my Civic Hybrid in on-time. Took down all of the info right there, checked for possible recalls and drove off to the service bay. A shuttle dropped me at work 15 minutes later. Called me when it was done. Thank you Poway Honda.
This was the worst car service experience I've ever had. They took 3 hours for an oil change, and didn't check out something on my car that I asked to be looked at. There was a half-hearted "Gee sorry" response when the service guy finally brought my car around, which translated into "too bad, I'm really not sorry."
Former loyal Honda customer. I took my Pilot in for routine service and to fix a broken tail light. I'm not going to throw the service guy who helped me under the bus because he was very professional and I don't blame him for the tactics this place uses to try and rip you off. This is a racket. Long story short: they tried to charge me $150 - $250 for each fluid they touched, about $400 for the taillight for a total of about $1,200. Instead I just had them change the oil, rotate the tires, do a recall, and other routine services for $95. I took the vehicle to an honest mechanic who did everything else for about $350. In other words, this place wanted to charge about 3x as much for service as an honest mechanic does.
I just had a service completed by Poway Honda. The service was very good and done on time. Service Line Manager Mike Deason did an excellent job managing the service.

I bought my first brand new car here and it was a terrible experience. Aside from that I got my first flat tire in my new car tonight and went to go change it and when I opened the spare tire compartment it had trash in it and the jack kit was missing pieces!! I m so upset someone at Honda clearly used the tools before they sold me the car and didn t put them back and left their garbage for me to find. Now I have to call for road side assistance and wait because of their neglect.

My car needed new tires after a spinout on the freeway during a storm. I contacted Poway Honda, and they got me in the next day. It took longer than expected, so I was shuttled home and picked up the next morning to pick up my car. I really appreciated feeling safe again with my new tires.

But after check this car we realised that tire and wheel were not original stuff, and they don't care of their car when they want to sell it, which means they only want to sell it, that's it, and also the tire and wheels were damaged, and the other important thing is about their manager, he was not friendly

the customer service agent never give total dollar amount when I ask him to change my oil and replaced my windshield, last month they charge me only 49.00 $ but this time 78.00 $ I think they should be honest not to hide the price every time they give me different price, also I did call the service department earlier they said we only charge you for part only for your windshield wiper when I got there they told me different story, also 6 month ago the mechanic the one perform my van oil change he left the engine cover open I drove the van for 5 month until I discover they left my lid open, I'm really sad about all this issue.
