The sales people at this dealership are courtesy and helpful. And most important, they sold a car to me at a good price no other dealers can match. I have purchased a total of five new cars in my life time so far, my experience at Poway Honda is the best.

Services 1245B on my Honda Accord were done in a timely fashion. Service Advisor was courteous and made sure I understood the scope of the service being performed.
The dealer sent two employees to pick up and drop off the car at my residence, following all necessary precautions for COVI-19.
Cost was reasonable. .
Highly recommend this service center.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional when it comes to their business. I was helped immediately by Raj. I informed him what I was looking for and gave me options and comparisons of the type of vehicles I was interested in. Afterwards I was introduced to the manager and greeted. The atmosphere the dealership had was awesome! The customer service was absolutely impeccable! Highly recommend this dealership.

Service was fantastic! I took my new Honda Civic in for its 1st service and they were very personable, like I'd been going there for years. I didn't have an appt and I was in and out in about an hour. They offered me cold water when I got there and washed my car too.

Finance manager told me that if I bought the warranty after driving my new car off the lot, they would charge a higher rate. You can buy a warranty on a new car up to 3 years or 36k miles after purchasing that car. Shop around and you'll get a better deal on Honda extended warranty than this place.

I have been getting my 2017 Honda Civic touring and 2008 Honda Pilot EXL service at Poway Honda. The team that work at the service department have been very helpful and friendly since I can remember.

I highly recommend Al Rodriguez, he is very friendly and knowledgeable service advisor, he will take good care of you. Always update you when your car is being service. Also, he can do a price match to a different Honda location just show him the quote or a coupon.

As a first time car buyer, I could not have asked for a better car buying experience than the service Rhodel provided. Upon entering Poway Honda, I had only planned to test drive the 2018 HR-V. Rhodel took me straight to the Honda HR-V LX model and told me all the features. When I asked him about a feature not standard with the LX model, Rhodel then showed me the HR-V EX and we took a test drive. During our test drive, he told me more about the safety and technical features of the car. I was sold. When we sat down to negotiate price, he went above and beyond to make sure I got a monthly payment within my budget. Rhodel made this experience absolutely seamless. I not only left as the owner of a beautiful new car, but a happy customer.

I had a wonderful car buying experience at Poway Honda. Specifically, Doc Marmor and Ryan Kruetz were the most professional and helpful individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with in buying a car. I came into the process very stressed out because my car had suddenly died and I was on my 3rd week of rentals which was getting very expensive. But I really wanted to feel good about such a large purchase so I just kept looking. I am so thankful I didn't buy from an independent or online dealer. This place is reputable and from the moment I walked in I knew I was going to get my car here. You want a solid, reputable business when you are shelling out thousands of dollars! They explained everything; answered my many questions; showed me ALL my options, not just the options that make them money. They didn't pressure me AT ALL. They were straight and honest and trustworthy and that's who I choose to do business with. I got a great deal, I am very happy with my car and the process.

I went with the intention of only looking for a new car and figuring out whether a Civic or an Accord suited me best. Henry Campos, the salesperson, came out to meet us. He was friendly, sincere (important in a car salesman) and very knowledgeable about each of the cars and their specifications. I took both cars out for a test drive, and was still undecided. We went in to talk about financing for both cars, which would settle the matter for me. As this was my first car buying experience, I was quite nervous. Henry and his manager were very flexible with the negotiations and a couple of hours later I was driving off with a new 2016 Honda Accord. Let's just say the deal was too good to pass up.

I went in for a simple 6 month/3500 mile service check, as I ve always done since buying my car at Poway Honda in 2008. Once they had my car, the Service assistant called me and told me he recommended additional maintenance services for around another additional $2,000 or so, your brakes, your rear strut is blown. So what do you want to do? My car is actually in very good condition. I take good care of it. So, when I asked what each maintenance action was and for how much (because I didn't know what struts were, or why I needed new brakes when I d had them serviced at my last appt not too long ago), he replied, I just told you, you need to replace them . But what are they? Again, I just told you they need to be replaced! Getting nowhere, I asked what the total bill would be if I decided to have them proceed with some, but not all of the recommended repairs and he said, I can t tell you that. I responded, You can t tell me what I ll owe you? I don t understand, how can that be? He said, I can t tell you that, the computer tells me what you ll owe after the repairs. He was very rude. Because he refused (or simply couldn t out of ignorance) to answer any of my questions and his tone and behavior was so rude and made me entirely uncomfortable, I declined the recommendations and asked if he d call me when my car was ready. He said he would call. He never did. I ended up taking an uber to the shop about an hour after the call to pick up my vehicle.
In my opinion, Poway Honda Service representatives should be able to explain the services they recommend to their clients, and be equipped to convey the costs associated with them. They should also be trained to treat their clientele with courtesy and professionalism. Leadership and service staff should emulate the friendly, competent service the posters on their walls promise to their customers.
I ve never been treated so inexplicably rudely. I left a voicemail for both the Service Manager and General Manager and still haven t heard back. So disappointed over how I was treated. There are lots of choices out there. I ll never go back to Poway Honda again.

My appointment was for 11:20am for an oil change and the guy told us it will take an hour to hour 1/2. We waited until 2hrs and when I asked what happened to my car and they couldn't find my car from their system. To make long story short, it took almost 3hrs to get my oil changed. They waived the charges but I still wondered if they really did a good job since they are in a hurry to finished. I am dissapointed.

After months of research into purchasing a new 2016 Honda Civic I finally visited Honda Poway for a test drive.

A friendly salesman (Hong Jian) quickly approached and after some introductions let my girlfriend and I go for a test drive. He wasn't pushy and we parted ways after I explained I wouldn't be purchasing for a couple of months.

After a few weeks I returned with a change of heart, unfortunately they didn't have the model and color I wanted. While there Hong let me see if my road bicycle fit in the Civic (it did!) which basically sold me on buying the car from him.

He said he'd find the car I wanted and 3 days later I drove it home.

No buckshot. Easy to make a good deal with. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience. My tires wore much faster than they should have. Chris took great care of me. They contacted the tire company and arranged for them to be replaced at very little cost to me. I will definitely continue to bring my car to Poway Honda.

I drive 35 mile to get my cars service here I love the service team and techs. I have been customer for about 10yrs now, Marco and Al take theIr time to listen to my concerns and go beyond to help me and each customers. I know this is a fact because there are times I need to wait my turn. (All worth it)Nothing is left rushed. I have been to two other dealerships and non compare.

FYI - All 6 of my hondas where purchased at other dealers but I will give Poway the next opportunity.

The service department stood behind their battery 100% since I purchased it from them 1 year ago.

Reserving was quick and easy and the service was completed within 1.5 hours for an oil check and check up. Facility was clean but I would ask that there are more desks to accommodate social distancing and allow for guests to work. Someone was nice enough to offer a desk space for me to utilize in the meantime but I'd like to see the waiting area expanded more.

Sales manager Jim Breen gave me a deal on 2015 Accord Sport I couldn't say no to. Finance manger Samantha was professional and efficient, singing documents took less then 20 min. I was in a terrible mood after picking up a massive nail in one of my tires and all I can say is that I left with a smile on my face. I really appreciated being able to have a little free snack (popcorn) while I was waiting. Alvaro Rodriguez was my service advisor and he was super friendly and super helpful. He really helped turn my day around with the entire experience. The fact that they threw in a complimentary car wash just sealed the deal - definitely the best experience I've had in a car dealership in any way.

The salesman John Abel was the most pleasant salesman I have ever encountered in my 63 years of age, and Brittany Escobedo in finance was absolutely the nicest person to ever get my money and me be happy about it. Really like the car and the deal I got and I didn't have to go all over the county to get, just here in my own town, and even within walking distance from my home.

We bought a used Honda at the Poway dealership. Gary Lobel showed us the car and assured us that, although it wasn t a certified used car, we shouldn t worry about anything because of the worry free principle the dealership applies to all used cars. This means that all cars get inspected and that condition of the car is clearly communicated to the customer. In our case Gary showed a complete maintenance record and that the car passed all inspections without any issue. A fantastic deal

By the time we got home, we discovered that the transmission was leaking. OK, the dealership took care of it. But that made us doubt how well those worry free inspections had been done. An independent third party assessment learned us that the car was full of hidden defects : worn out breaks and pads, bended drive shaft, steering hydraulics leaking... All in all, more than 5k USD of repairs that needed to be done. Not exactly what we call worry free .

When trying to contact Gary Lobel about this, he ignored us. When escalating further up, we first got the blunt answer that the car was sold as is . We continued to insist and got in contact with JR and ultimately the GM, Jakki Mafi. Both pretended to listen and to care about our customer experience, but all they did was talking a lot to gain time without any intension to solve this case nor to come up with a compromise that was acceptable for both parties. Their only goal was to make us go away and to protect the values for the dealership.

Bottom line : this dealership claims to be customer centric, but is in reality no better than any other and is only out to maximize its profits. Very friendly when you're in to buy, but extremely cold and arrogant when there is a problem.

Purchased a new Honda Pilot this weekend from Poway Honda and had a great experience with Jose and their team. I had attempted to purchase a Pilot the previous evening at another dealership in Lemon Grove, had a HORRIBLE experience there, and ended up leaving frustrated. I called Poway Honda the next morning. They were professional, knowledgable, and eager to earn my business without sales gimmicks. Plus, I saved thousands of dollars on my purchase. Will definitely be back for my next vehicle purchase.

As he was checking me in he noticed I needed front tires. Marco was personable, efficient and it was noticeable that he likes his job. Went in to look at a car and had a great buying experience. The salesman Mickey was super friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us look at different models and knew all the features. Introduced me to Jim the manager who was a really nice guy as well. We were able to work out a deal and get the car we wanted for the best price. We had talked to other dealerships but Mickey and Jim did a great job finding the right car and giving us the best price. Very happy with every part of the process and would send friends or family here with no hesitation.

We worked with Niki through the Costco auto buying program throughout our experience. She was able to give us great information and was very transparent about all pricing and options questions we had throughout the experience. The color we wanted was not in stock, so we had to do a custom order. While something happened during the order process and we did not get the 2020 model, an equivalent 2019 came in instead and Niki made sure that we were taken care of due to the ordering mishap. Working with Niki made our car buying experience excellent, and I would happily recommend anyone looking for a Honda to work with her. If we are in the market for a new Honda in the future, we will definitely be coming back and working with her again.

Most of the staff there is professional. But I'm very disappointed with the service. For three oil changes in a row they overfilled the engine to a full inch above the full mark, despite my repeated request not to do that the last couple of times. Last time it happened, I took the car back to have the excess oil drained. One service magener outright denied facts and acted unprofessionally. But another manager gaciously offered me a free oil change. A couple days ago I had an oil change there and found out they overfilled it again! Now what do I do, take the car back to face unprofessional treatment?

In comparison, I never had this problem even once at the Nissan dealership down the road where we had our other vehicle serviced.

Although I had been told the first availability wasn't until 11:00 am, I got a call before 9:00 advising me the van was ready to be picked up. Shady dealership. Bait and Hook - Watch out - This might happen to you. This dealership listed a car that I test drove and signed the paperwork to hold. We negotiated a pick up in three days to allow smog. Tiffany called me and said the car had problems and was no longer available. The repair cost must have been higher than expected. They said the deal we made was no longer good BUT they had another car $3,000 higher and the same model. Can you believe that! I said no and now I am warning people to stay away. This might happen to you. Manager was Jim Breen and Salesperson was Tiffany Huynh. Stay away from this team. The Honda Civic is still listed.
