Just got bought a used Dodge Charge and had a great experience. Got the car at a great price and the service was as good as it can get. No hassle short negotiation took care of all my requests. Cant get any better. I had the car shipped to the house and even the shipper was great. Woke - up and the car was in the drive way, signed the papers and that was it. If you get a chance ask for Alex. Definitely my next Dodge will come from Poway. The car came as promised in perfect shape not a scratch.

I bought my 2015 1500 Dodge Ram in April of 2018 . My battery gave out .Really ? This dealership did me dirty . Bunch of thieves ! I barely had my truck for 4 months and my battery gave out and got it tested through autozone and they also couldn t believe that this dealership sold me a bad battery. Buyers beware test you re battery before buying off a vehicle from POWAY Chrysler/DODGE!
All my questions get answered, Silvia was patient over the 3 and half hour decision making, Scott the manager was straight forward,... So far so good. Leaving with a Dodge Ram on lease instead of our original intention of purchasing a Durango, which would not be ideal to haul a 23ft travel trailer
Tried to purchase vehicle as out of state purchase. Basically leaving dealer and driving back to another state same day. Chris B. was unhelpful and unprofessional. Does not know how to facilitate out of state sale so that the buyer doesn't pay CA sales tax and then tax in their state when registering. Your typical sales manager attitude! Very disappointing experience!

We got a great certified pre-owned Journey at a great price. Everyone on their team here took great care of my wife and I. Dean our sales representative was awesome and helpful. Luis and Shea the sales managers were awesome and Harry in finance. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. If you are looking for great deal and a great buying experience come to Poway, you'll find the vehicle you want, with some of the best customer service in the business. We even had a small customer discrepancy between the vehicle we bought and another one we were looking at. Came back the next day it everything was made right. This dealership is the best hands down. Come to Poway Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
Update: This dealership's service department is deplorable. They padded their service ticket with a BS cabin air filter like a bunch of money grubbing trolls. The cabin air filter is a 20k mile maintenance item and when we bought our "Certified" pre owned car meaning these items were supposed to be inspected and replaced. It was not replaced. But now $115.00 for a $12.00 cabin air filter which is translated to a full hour of labor being charged for something that takes maybe 5 to 10 minutes. If you buy a car from this place make sure to check all those items they are supposed to check during their "Certifying inspection" Then take your car somewhere for service because this place is an obvious rip off.

Although we had this lack luster experience at Poway, Mike Stevens and another gentlemen from Poway Chrysler have reached out to me and apologized for the incident and even gave went the extra mile and provided a credit for the service. I feel more like a valued customer and would gladly bring my vehicle to them for service.
The service guys, Thinh, Jeremy and service manager, Chris are awesome to work with. I bought my 1st Dodge 6 yrs ago had all my service done at Dodge Poway and just bought my 2nd truck from there. They are nice friendly and help with any question and dont force unneeded work.
Mike Jensen was great. He was a straight shooter and helped me get a kickass deal on a used Mustang. I would definitely go back if I was ever to get a Jeep or Dodge.

Horrible never do business with this dealer I bought a a Toyota Camry there and they sold me an engine with chords hanging on by a thread and the battery could not be held in place by the chords. A very Jerry rigged used car. They refuse to fix the chords or do anything.
Just traded in my 2014 Chrysler 300s. Explained my situation and this crew took it from there. No head lock type negotiations. Simply let me see what I can do. Received rebates and internet price. Overall great stress free buying experience. Thanks Silvia and Scott for your efforts. #Grateful

I would not recommend this dealership to purchase an auto. I would go to any other Dodge dealer before I would go to Poway Dodge even if I had to drive 50 miles. The sales department will only rip you off and is very untrustworthy and I regret my purchase. If Scott tries to help you run the other way.

There service department is awesome. It's the only place I will take my 2016 Jeep Wrangler for routine service. Friendly staff, no BS estimates and they haven't once tried to pull a fast one. The guys are awesome!
Showed up at this dealership without making an appointment after a catastrophic supercharger belt failure. I was checked in quickly by a very helpful service advisor Thinh, and my car was back on the road in no-time. Overall I'm very happy with my service experience, and will definitely return back for all future service needs.
My experience with poway Dodge has alway been fantastic, Thinh was able to get work done on my 2017 that another deal in my town couldn't and wouldn't do. Thinh is extremely helpful.
Just bought a Town and Country from this dealer. We had called and visited other dealers to get a price similar to the best price we had found on the internet, but to no avail. Over the phone, the salesman and manager at the Poway dealer promised to "make us happy" if we would come over. We were skeptical, but thought it was worth a try, so we went, and were amazed that they even beat the deal we were looking for! And they were very nice about it, and honest that they are trying to establish a good customer base in the area. The service, from top to bottom, was excellent, they really made sure we were satisfied. They even gave us an additional discount AFTER we signed all the papers. I would recommend this dealer to anyone.
Great sales staff and overall good experience. My wife and I visited several dealerships in the San Diego county area and decided to return to Poway solely based off of the great costumer service we received during our initial visit. We will be returning to this dealership in the future.
Brought my Ram 1500 in for routine service and a recall on the tailgate. Mr. Nguyen greeted me coming in to service and had all the work completed promptly.
Everyone was really nice, no pressure at all. We came came in late after work and still these guys were the best. All I can say is that we walk away with a new Jeep that night ! Didn't think that was going to happen.
My dodge truck did not pass the smog, something to do with a "missfire". I was told to just drive it. After 3,000+ miles it still is not passing. According to Band B there is a warrantee fix TSB 18-003-11. I gave this info to the repair dept and they said I needed to go to Escondido. Escondido never returns my calls. I need this repair done so I can smog my truck but all I get is the run around. Note very happy!!!!

Update 1/23/19 Went to Jack Powell in Escondido, they found the problem within a few days... Diagnosed and repaired in about 7 business days. As for any response from Poway, just their "special project manager" trying to get everyone's side of the story. Haven't heard from him a few but he keeps pushing this survey via email. I don't think he wants us to really answer that. BAR is aware of the repairs, so only time will tell.
1/3/19- My car was "ready". I HAD TO JUMPSTART MY OWN VEHICLE WITH THEIR COMPANY VEHICLE! That doesn't seem ready to me. Then they had the audacity to call me and say that they won't take my car in unless I remove this review. They would CONSIDER fixing my car if I did. BAR has been notified BBB is next.
1/2/19- Where do I start? If you're a female I highly suggest you go to another dealership for service. They are the biggest condescending sexist men I've ever witnessed. I've called to talk to a manager, they send me to voicemail and never respond. I'll be going to whoever is above these men to make sure I'm heard. The way they treated my wife is beyond ridiculous. For a second I thought we were back in the old days, so much disrespect. It's 2019... Only person you should deal with is Jason, the only decent human being in the service department. Stay clear of Dennis and Dan unless you want to be in tears.
As of actual service Lie like no other. Anything to get that extra dollar. I definitely won't be coming back. Taking my two vehicles to another Dodge dealership. No customer skills what so ever.

I purchased a new 2017 Jeep Cherokee and I ve had multiple issues with it, unfortunately. My current issue is, I had a leak around the inside of the cabin which created a musty smell and led to me needing to replace the cabin filter. The cabin filter cover broke off after the first time the filter was replaced. Chrysler told me twice it was under warranty but Dennis from Poway Jeep told me it wasn t. I ve gone back and forth with Dennis and had to follow up with him multiple times. This current issue has been going on two weeks with no resolve. Once he just text me an told me it wasn t covered without even calling to tell me how much the replacement would be. I m unhappy with this American made vehicle and the service team, specifically Dennis.
Do not purchase a vehicle from this place!! I came in on March 8, 2016 with a pre-approval from my credit union....the salesmen still ran my credit and tried to get me financed through one of their lenders even after speaking with a representative from my credit union explaining to me that it was policy to run my credit even if I was approved for a loan through my bank. After finding a vehicle (2015 Chrysler Town & Country touring) my credit union sent over the approval letter and I was on my way....But when I drove off of the lot I took a different route home down the backside of poway on to the 67 freeway and while traveling downhill I noticed shaking and grinding when braking....I called the dealership and they scheduled an appointment for me to bring it in...well during that waiting process not even 30 days after purchasing the vehicle the car caught on fire underneath the hood...I had it towed to them and assumed that they would diagnose the other issue (in addition to the fire underneath my hood) that I was having with the brakes since my appointment was scheduled around that time....but they didn't! I had to reschedule another appointment and bring it back a couple of days later. And when I did they told me that the brake pads were fine but the rotors were bad! How in the world is that even possible?! But then to add insult to injury they accused me and said it was my fault and told me that I would have to pay!! So now last week after having the vehicle serviced regularly the engine light came on and is flashing so now I am unable to drive my vehicle again!! I called last week and they said that no one would be able to look at it until this week...I called this week and now they're saying that no one will be able to look at it until next week!!! I am a single "WORKING" mother of 4 minor children one who has autism and I cannot afford to be without a car!! These people have NO integrity and sold me a lemon! I will never buy from them again!!!
As a Sams Club member we thought we would be getting money off from the listed price but no. They expected us to purchase this vehicle as is plus the rear leather seats had a huge scorched mark on it. Then they were charging us $4,000 tax when it should have been a bit over $2,000 and they were charging us for registration even though in 3 months we'd have to pay for registration again. Wow now would anybody in their right mind complete this purchase? But don't take my word for it go see what kind of deal they offer you. Im sure it was just me.
The service was outstanding. I had a problem with a sensor for the brakes. Thinh identified the initial problem and let me know what part required replacement. The part needed to be ordered and would be there the next day. He got a loaner vehicle. I wasn't sure if it would be ready so I stopped by the dealer to get a few things from my truck, and the part had arrived early and was installed. They washed my truck and I took it home. What a great experience. Thanks Thinh for the quick turnaround.
I normally would bring my car to service it at the dealership where I purchased it. I ended up taking the opportunity to bring it to a different dealership because I didn't have the time to drive 20 miles and wait for the service to be completed on a Saturday. I'm so glad I did. What a difference in the level of service and the extra mile the advisor took to handle my car. I'm definitely coming back for all of my service needs to this dealership.
I came here with my Jeep GC for a recall, after I have been repeatedly mistreated by Jack Powell in Escondido (see separate review). The guys at Poway CJDR are great! It is a smaller dealership but they really try to make you happy. In my case they succeeded. I shall return here for my service and my next Jeep.
Best car dealership I've dealt with. They had a Wrangler I was interested in and they gave me a really good deal on it. They will help you find what you're looking for without being pushy. Time effective, professional, and fair. Shoutout to Jorge for helping me find my dream car!
Rip off...dropped my chrysler coz my air bag indicators lights on... they told me that $135 charge for labor so i go for it..then they called that theres a problem on wiring and asking for$500 for parts..i declined but stll have to pay the $135 labor...and the air bag lights indicator still on...unfair price for no work done..im very much willing to pay within $30 to let say $50 for the diagnostic but man $135...come on...have a heart
Service department is great it's always above and beyond and they always wash the truck after, I've stopped by a few times just to air up the tires and they have someone come out and do it for me which is helpful. Kristen was very patient at finding the right truck and which one is best for our family. On a separate trip Silvia again was very patient and put up with the whole family and test drives both Silvia and kristen were very knowledgeable with Ram trucks and would recommend seeing them if you need a truck

Seemingly nice people - however not impressive customer service. After meeting on the lot with a salesman, I scheduled a follow up appointment to go over some vehicle pricing details (I let him pick the time to ensure I didn't waste a trip to the lot when he was busy). When I showed up, the salesman was working with another customer. Despite seeing me in the lobby, he ignored me for 20 minutes, and finally when another employee asked if I needed help, he shouted from his desk, 'yeah, go ahead and help him out.' The 2nd employee took down my info and said he would get back to me with some numbers that night. He didn't. When I called the next day he apologized and promised me the numbers before leaving work. He didn't call again. When I called the third day in a row, another salesman told me they were too busy to call back potential customers. The ironic part is I wanted to buy a truck from them and had the cash in hand to it. I'm not sure if this is just an isolated event or the norm - but from my perspective, you can probably do better somewhere else.
Dennis in the service department did a great job with my vehicle. All the recall items were quickly fixed and he advised me on other repairs which were too costly based on the current value of the vehicle. I will definitely bring my other Chrysler's back here for service. They are honest and trustworthy.
Thank you Dennis! Taking a car to the service department at a dealership is usually as enjoyable as a rectal exam, but Dennis was pleasant and helpful enough to make the experience enjoyable! Ask for him when you drop off your car. Managers at Poway Dodge, do what you can to keep Dennis working for you; he alone is the reason I am 100% confident and comfortable bringing my vehicle back to your service department.
I've never had service this good before. Normally when I drop my truck off I figure I'll be picking it up either the next day or at the end of the day. Not only was the service staff SUPER friendly and helpful, but they went above and beyond by filling my boyfriend's car tires up (he wasn't getting service) and my truck was ready for pick up within a hour of dropping it off. HIGHLY recommend!

This dealership is very relaxed, unlike most whom bombard you when you're just trying to shop around. They will come and say hello, but don't worry if you just tell them you need some time to look around they will let you do so in peace. Bought my durango here and it was pretty quick process.
Everything about my service was top notch. The only difficulty I had was making an online appointment. Next time I will call for an appointment like I usually do.
Took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for oil change, 5 tire rotation, and steering damper recall. Arrived at my 9:30 appointment on a Saturday morning and taken care of by SA Thinh Nguyen who was so accomodating with all my questions. My washed Jeep was all done at 11 am. I am fully satisfied with the service.
Had plenty of appointments available. Got my truck drive shaft and exhaust fixed and done within 24 hours. 2013 truck is driving like new! My service writer Thinh was fantastic and kept me updated on the process. In the past I ve also had Dennis as a service writer and he was also very helpful and nice. I have another Ram dealer 5 minutes from my house, but I drive 30 minutes to go to Poway CJDR because of the service.
I wouldn't buy another vehicle here, but their service department is thirty times better than their sales floor. The couple of service techs and advisors I've interacted with have been top notch.

Just like a previous review everyone was nice when i took delivery of the car and even brought it in from another dealer. But after numerous issues they claim they'd no longer be servicing my vehicle because they didnt like my survey responses. But sorry poway Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram im not going to LIE on your be-have if services weren't completed or completed to standards unless the standard at ypur establishment is to half@$$ service then sorry. But to everyone else save yourself the hassle and go down to Poway Toyota or Honda next door. You'll be glad you did. Service like this is exactly why Chrysler is in the fix its in. #justsaying
I found a car through an online listing and went to look at/purchase it. The car was exactly as described and we purchased. The salesmen were nice and patient with us and the fact that we had our kids with us. They also provided a free 1200 mile check up. That's the good things and why the 3 stars- the -2 stars are for as follows:
The bad things: 1. They didn't have the dealer plates on and my husband got pulled over during a test drive by the police. That was awkward.
2. They tried to low ball my trade in (I fought/got what I wanted).
3. They forgot to have us sign an important DMV paper and contacted us while on vacation in a different state a week later asking to come in that day. We had to add over an hour driving time to our journey home (when already tired from all day travel) to stop by the dealership and sign the paper. There was no gas/time compensation and they didn't offer to drive to our house to correct THEIR mistake. I felt that was handled poorly.
All in all nice selection of cars, just go in being prepared and make sure you know what your stuff is worth as well as have time to sign and double check ALL paperwork is completed before you leave.
I had a short email exchange with Cristian Irey in Poway Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram's Internet Sales Department. He was very polite and cordial and answered all my questions in a timely manner, even for a customer requesting to custom order a vehicle -- one that was not on their lot or stock in the state. I did not end up purchasing but as soon as I am, I will be reaching out to Cristian.
Very well taken care of! Stuff happens sometimes, the key is taking care of it right away for someone. Chris and the servicer department did an excellent job taking care of my JEEP. Dude, I enjoy my JEEP so much, making sure all is well for me gives great confidence in having my JEEP serviced / maintenance done only at Poway with Chris and the service group.

Everyone I met on my short visit was very friendly. I spoke with someone in parts and sales. I have since been back twice for vehicle service. I am very impressed with both service advisors Dennis and Thinh. They are very responsive to my concerns and the mechanics do high quality work.
Drove past several Dodge/Ram Dealerships to come here. We came here due to their Ram selection and found something instantly, if that wasn t the one, they had 7 more next to it. The staff was great; no pressure, honest, friendly and upfront. We test drove a truck and had worked out an out the door price just as the test drive ended. The 90 mile one way journey to get here from Los Angeles was well worth it.
I needed a new key and they were able to fit meet in the same day. To me that is good customer service. I will be taking my car there for all services.

Went in just for a test drive and talked with Jim. He was a great guy who knew a lot about Jeeps and you could tell he had a passion for the vehicles he was selling. I gave them my budget and they did everything they could to get under what I could afford and I ended up driving away with a brand new 2014 Jeep Wrangler. They were very helpful and the staff was great. I would recommend you give them a chance to make a deal that's right for you.
