They sold me a Lemon 2010 Chrysler and has Electrical Problems I told them about it and the said there is nothing wrong with my car and as soon as I get it back the same thing happens and the car shuts down on us lost all power and now when my wife was driving home the other day the car lost power as she was turning into a street and was almost hit by an oncoming car now I'm afraid for the safety of my family
Wish all these reviews had been here two years ago. I would have saved myself about $10k. Put less than 5kmi on my 2008 HHR and it died. And I found out it had been in an accident, they said "carfax shows no issues". Will only take $5k to fix their mess. Here's the tip of the day DON'T.
My husband bought a car 4 months ago from Mark. My husband had a really good experience while he was there buying BUT afterwards he did not get the two things that were promised to him. Mark was supposed to take care of it. My husband called him several times within the four months, and Mark kept telling him he would get it taken care of, but four months later still waiting on Mark to keep his word! I called twice myself, the first time I called him was two weeks ago, he said that he thought it was taken care of and would look into it and call me back by Monday. Still haven't heard back from him. I called again yesterday, someone else said they would find out what's going on and call me back in about 15 minutes, still waiting on him to return call also. I tried again today, Mark was off, General Manager said if Mark promised that he should deliver on what was promised and for me to call back Monday when Mark is working and he will talk to Mark. Let's see if will be taken care of. Why should we have to keep calling? Why doesnt he take down my name and number and make sure he calls me back, and that the customer is taken care of?? I have been in the customer service business for over 20 years, you can always tell how good a company is by how they treat their customers AFTER the sale. I am very disappointed. I am thinking about buying another car for myself, but will definitely not buy from this dealership again.

So far very personable. bought used vehicle. after weekend, 5 minor problems found. we'll see if they live up an make it right. to be continued. After two months, they denied there was anything wrong with the heater. After second visit leaving vehicle, they admitted I needed a heater valve. I asked for second key, they promised,. Never delivered. I moved on. They were great to make the sale. Terrible follow through!
Buy a Chevy Cruze 12 car The car did not turn out well because dsd that I bought it has given me little problems and I still do not have the year with the car, the real one I am afraid that the car will leave me lying. I wish they could change my car.

In June, I bought a 2010 Grand Cherokee from Rock Auto Group. I must admit I was apprehensive about buying from a used car dealership. I visited rock on Saturday morning after finding a truck they had online..I walked into the shop and was greeted by Phil. It was truly a NO pressure place. All the employees were great and they gave me a great deal! Friday I get to pick up the truck as they wanted to detail it and fix a couple minor issues.. I will definitely visit them again next time I need a new car
This dealership is absolutely the worst out there. I have been trying to get a refund from them that they owe me directly and I keep getting the run around from them. I still have not received a response email or a phone call. I have sent over 20 emails and called over 50 times and I keep getting the run around when I call or the person I need to talk to is either off/ at lunch or they just can t find them right now. I have filed a complaint with BBB and will now take legal action. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!!!

Buying our daughter's 1st car from Rock Auto was an amazing experience! We walked on their lot at roughly 6:30pm and drove away just before 8:00pm the same day. Service was exceptional, friendly, and expedient. Granted, we purchased one of their "teaser" cars from an ad, but nonetheless, this was the first car I have ever purchased where I drove it off the Lot with more value in the car than I purchased it for. Found a Flex online that I liked. Went up there and the salesman Mark was great. Very attentive and very helpful. The issue I have is that I told them those tires are pretty bald. Paying 20k for a car you would expect them to be willing to replace the tires. The main floor guy said they are fine just bring it back and I will hook you up. Well the next day the tire light is on. I bring it in and theres a slow leak. They fix the slow leak by taking it across the street to the used tire shop. Shante then proceeds to tell me its all good...well I have been trying to get in contact with them to get new tires and now they are saying they will give me a discount on new tires and not replace the bald ones they sold the car with. Not sure I would recommend anyone buying a car here because its just about getting you out of the door with whatever car. Makes me feel like if it starts then they will sell it to you. 2 payments in and I need to buy new tires that are running around $900-$1200...a little shady if you ask me. they get the 2nd star because the salesman Mark was good..they lose 3 stars for everything else.
This is a very unethical an unprofessional people to deal with, from the sales person to the owner that never returned my phone call. The sales person Anthony lies to customers and the staff that process the applications Mike is very uneducated and rude. It was a waste of my time, I will never recommend this place. It was the worst experience in my life.

He even paid for us take our car to an independent third party for an inspection so we could be confident we weren't going to keep having issues.

The Rock Auto Group claims their vehicles go through inspections and safety checks before they are sold - but they don't. I bought a vehicle from them only to find out the headlights didn't work and a seatbelt was broken.
Fast forward a month and the check oil light comes on. We go in for a replacement to find out all three gearboxes were low on oil and one had so many shavings in it that you could tell it had never been changed.
The General Manager is an absolute joke and should be fired. Every other word out of his mouth is "I have to check with the owner", who just happens to always be off. Why have a manager who is incapable of making a decision and is running your business into the ground?
I bought a vehicle from these guys then they towed it out of my front yard 13 days later with no explination. My meds and valuables were in the truck and still are. These guys are scam artists.
Rock auto Group is a good place to go if you are in need of a vehicle. Their selection is surprisingly big and they also have a full service body and mechanic shop on the lot. The staff was extremely helpful and lucky enough I was able to make a deal on a used truck. Overall excellent experience and prices weren't bad either!

Place is horrible I wouldn't recommend anyone spend their hard owned money here. I purchased a 07 S550 that had transmission problems 3 weeks later. I took the Benz to a Mercedes dealership where they informed me that Rock Auto Group had the car inspected by them and they told them to repair the car. I was told by Rock Auto Group " Its a great car we had a bumper to bumper inspection" blah blah blah DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS

The salesman, finance and paperwork people were very professional and expedient. From walking on the lot and leaving with the car was less than one hour, including the test drive. I highly recommend this dealership.
I stop by one of their used car sales outside Walmart off on aero drive and the experience was not quite what I was expecting. When I first came in the lady at the door before even saying hello she made a funny remark about me wearing a walker boot on my broken ankle. Which I did not think it was funny at all I was then helped by a nice gentleman named Victor who was really nice patient and professional I was clear when I said I have fired credit due to medical issues and they said they were able to help me. I I left and I S I am leaving the parking lot another sells wrapped made another funny joke about my hurt ankle which again did not think it was funny or appropriate. I had promised to come back and test drive a second vehicle which I did at the end of the day after work. They run my credit did everything that they normally do they told me that I needed to put more down payment in order to qualify I offered to put in thousand dollar cash and they promised I was going to receive a call the next day around 10 in the morning which I never received not even to tell me I did not qualified. I find this company auto dealership to be really unprofessional. I do not recommend buying a vehicle from this place they are many other places where they are really nice sales representative willing to help you any they cannot do anything for you do to your credit or finances they are nicely professional to let you know

He followed us home so I could retrieve ,sign and He then returned it to Rock Auto..saving us a trip. RUN AWAY. Bought a car from them, then discovered they added a charge $400 charge for worthless security scheme. While the car fax indicated no accidents, I discovered later, that body work had been done. With a credit score near 800, they offered a high 9.5% interest rate. They said that if I could find a lower rate, and show them within three days, they would rewrite the contract at that rate. When I brought them the lower offer, they said that they could not honor it. They also showed me a bogus Kelly Blue Book value for the car, which I fell for. When I got home, I looked it up on KBB, and the car was worth $1000 less. Stay away from this place, at "all cost."
I've dealt with many dealerships over the years and I've never felt comfortable or that I was being dealt with in an honest matter. Victor R. made me feel confident that I was in great hands and I was extremely happy with the outcome of my purchase.
I was not planning to purchase a car, my friend wanted one, my other friend needed one. While waiting for them, I was welcomed like an old friend by Todd - great guy! Ernest was shocked and very patient when I told him I'll need something big enough for full drywall sheets. Sheer boredom made me tell him, 'I'll be back Sunday and if you can get that Pathfinder down to a price I can live with - we got a deal'. Well, my friend didn't get cars but I did!!! At Blue Book price; and after driving it 400 miles north on the 5. I'm the happiest HandyGirl I know. I'm gonna get those girls in there to see Todd and Ernest yet. Update: I was contacted by Kyle and he arrange for me to meet the owner today (monday). We meet up with Shawn and explain the entire situation my father medical history and all. He was very under and even help us out so that this can neve happen again with our dad. After talking we realize that the employee yesterday really had no jurisdiction on helping our situation and that is why it seemed we were getting the run around. The meeting concluded with both parties being satisfied and not taking so much of a lost. I would once again thank employee Kyle for reaching out and to the owner Shawn Saggart for being understanding and working with us. Based on our experience today which was very informative if I had to buy a car this will be the place I go.
So my father who had a stroke and is mentally delayed purchased a car from here. That is not the problem. The problem is the next day we went to explain the situation and try to talk to the company and r w solve this matter on taking back the car. However, we were given the run around. We went to tent sale where the car was purchased. Upon entering explain the situation was told go see the boss in the back. Went to the back the boss ask why we would like to return, explained again he then told us have to see the boss at the main office. Went to the main office and explain to the boss there again the situation. He then tells us that he can not help us we have to talk to the owner who will not be back until Tuesday (2 days). When we ask the time he states to call and make sure the owner is in on Tuesday somewhere around 10am. Right now this seems very uprofessional. We are trying to resolve it without taking legal action. However if business runs like this on Tuesday like today, we may have to take legal action. We have already contact our lawyer.
Great customer service and the sales person are very helpful in finding me the car I want and giving me good deals. I would definitely refer this company to my friends and relatives.

I paid $35,450.00 for a truck yesterday. We were treated very nicely by sales people and Sean, the owner. However, the person at the end signing the contract was a little rude. I drove off the parking lot and noticed that tank was on empty. Not cool. Didn't want to be a trouble maker,so I continued on my way and filled up the tank with $50.00. 15 miles later from El Cajon, I'm climbing the grade passing Alpine, and the check engine light goes on. A couple of miles later, "reduced engine power" goes on.Then I seen the needle pointing to the "hot" section of the temperature gauge. I immediately pull off the freeway. My heart sunk, I didn't buy extended warranty. But a diesel truck with 45,000 miles on it, who would think that you would need warranty? Called dealer number, owner called me back in 30 minutes. He seemed very accommodating, said he would fix the problem and make it right. He sent a tow truck, and took it back to the dealer shop. .I will keep you posted on the outcome and final review. My wife and I went to the tent sale of Rock Auto Group in Lemon Grove, CA to claim a price on a promo card received from the mail. We end up buying a used Toyota Rav4. The staff were friendly and helpful. Salesman James Duque assisted us, toured us in the lot and he was very helpful and friendly. Not in our plans to buy a car but gave us the best rate we could afford to pay. Also, I would like to commend Marcial, Service Manager for his excellent customer service. When we brought the car in their shop for detailing, change of tires and some minor fixing of the car, he took care of us as fast as he could. We left the car at the shop and got it the following day. We were very satisfied on the work they did, the car looks flawless. Thanks to Marcial again for his great assistance. He was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Great people and Great dealership. I m looking forward that the car we bought will work for years.
Came here on Saturday to check out a car that I had seen online, but it had been shipped to another location that morning. They brought it back for me and I got to test drive the next day. Kyle, the internet sales manager, was really nice and down to earth. Paperwork was a breeze and the whole purchase experience went smoothly. Would recommend stopping by if you're looking for a clean used car!
The owner is very accommodating, but it's not enough to make up for certain members of his staff. During the purchasing, I had the misfortune of having a floor manager that felt he should dictate my wants and needs, and then he completely underestimated the work that needed to be done to the vehicle. My wife dropped off the vehicle to have the windshield replaced, air filter replaced, seatbelt covers installed, and a ticking noise investigated, which the floor manager said should take no more than a couple of hours. I had to leave work, go all the way home to get a vehicle with enough seats for my wife and kids, and then drive to the dealership to pick them up because the service rep told her it would take all day. When I returned to pick up the vehicle at the end of the day, the only maintenance accomplished was the windshield replacement. I brought it back Saturday. The owner was present and promised prompt service, but, at the end of the day, they still didn't replace the air filter. That may seem trivial, but if they can't even deliver on the small things, I shudder to think of what's in store for me down the road with this vehicle. Enter if you dare.
The Car I bought here now sits in my driveway and will not start. It is a mere 2 weeks after I bought the vehicle. This dealership will not take the vehicle back or pay to fix it. Shady people.
I called this morning about a vehicle and received a text that said "I'm driving". I responded by asking if this is in response to the call I made in regards to the vehicle I'm looking for. No response. I called again an hour or so later, no answer. I call back, no answer. I then receive a text that says "sorry I couldn't answer, I was on the phone with the doctor, the Altima is available". But can you call back? His name is KYLE and he has the worst customer service of any car salesman I've ever experienced. He's more concerned with doctors appointments than selling cars. Pre-approval letter in hand from our credit union and we were just waiting to buy a car. I will never buy a car from this place.
Anthony was awesome. We love the vehicle, it was an amazing experience and at no point did we feel pressured into anything. Unlike most of the other vehicle we saw, this one was in exactly the shape it claimed to be when we arrived to test drive it. Anthony answered all of our questions and dealt with our super cautious concerns having been scammed by every other car dealer we went to. So happy to have found this place.
My husband and I got a killer deal on a Mercedes R350 that we just love! We really ended up getting more car than we thought we would be able to afford and the entire sales process was not at all pushy like some other dealerships I have dealt with in the past .I will definitely continue to bring my families business here in the future....thanks guys!!
We went to check out one of their tent sales. From the moment we walked in every one was very friendly. The sales associate was very helpful and took his time answering all of our questions. We had been without a car for a while and they seemed genuinely happy for us. We had our 3 toddlers with us and they were very accommodating. We absolutely LOVE our vehicle and would definitely recommend Rock Auto to our friends and family members.
I was in yesterday looking at a vehicle. Everything seemed fine at first but after the test drive I felt very uncomfortable and not welcome. There was another customer in the store and the gentleman salespeople asked about naming their vehicle. The customer told a racist story about her car's name. One of the salespeople said he named his after a girl because he liked the name. The who I believe was the manager, made a gay joke about another employee names his after a guy. I felt like I couldn't get out there quick enough. Even during my time there the guy processing my paperwork, never introduced himself, decided to sit behind his computer from 30 feet away and yell questions to me. This place was the most unprofessional business I have ever been to.
Total freaking rip-off joint. Saw the car I wanted on line, went to the tent sale to test drive...so far so good. Agreed on a price. That is where the good ends. They offered me 4k for my Mustang Bullitt, ok, they were going to pay off my lease of a Kia Optima SXL. They lied, what they tried to do is tack 2500 on the back end of the price so they could pocket more money, even though I was giving a Bullitt (which they later said could only give 3k)and 3k cash down. I was working with the so called owner Sean, he seemed nice but was only interested in one thing...changing the deal so he could pocket more money. The actual sales person Ryan was also nice, but useless. This place is a scam at best, total rip-off artists at worst. Stay away...
Jay was great!!!!!!!!! This place was amazing and Jay as well as everybody there was so honest and sincere. Anthony handled our concerns very well since we questioned everything right down to the smell of the oil cap ,because of being burned by every other dealer we went to. Jay was so patient with us and that made me feel so comfortable. The vehicle looked exactly as advertised and was in great condition, not to mention the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend going to these guys. And trust me, i feel like an expert having been car shopping for my young adult for quite some time now. It can get stress full, however, this place was not.
Bought a vehicle less than a month ago from these guys and it's broken down 4 times. Transmission problems. Less than 30 days in! Now I'm told that I have a deductable that I need to pay for repairs. This is ridiculous and generally the service manager is unhelpful. I'm being told it is being repaired , but am not given any information besides "transmission problem maam" no detail into what the actual problem is. The car should have never been sold in this condition. I really feel regretful about doing business with this dealership. Please save yourself the trouble and do not go here!
RUN!! CONSUMERS DON'T DESERVE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY! I know this negative review will cost me "a free oil change" but it's ok. People must be warned. I can afford my own oil changes. They promise a free oil change for a 5 star review on Yelp. Edwin, Shawn and Tim these guys are a bunch of liars, SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY & HEADACHE. I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata on 5/24/17, yes less than a month ago!!
Tips if you decide to buy here: 1) Make sure the monthly payment Edwin promises you, it's on the contract. Edwin promised me $340. Shawn change it to $405, because he added extended warranty without my consent, after much debate & removal of the warranty, He lowered my monthly to $349!!
2) If the car you buy is missing something ANYTHING, make sure the Due Bill reflects the missing part!!!
My car was missing a cover for the trunk, (second key, manual & 1 floor mat)
On 5/24 Tim & Shawn promised me the DUE BILL would show the missing cover (the other items I discovered missing on 5/25/17) and that it will be ready on 5/25. LIE!!! On 5/25/17 I read my copy of the DUE BILL it did not show any promised parts After 3 wks of follow up, Edwin scheduled me on 6/16/17. He never showed up to the appt. The Service Rep Marcial finally gave me this missing cover on 6/16/17. Which was simply taken out of another car in the lot! The other items were never provided. GHETTO!!
3) CHECK THE CAR FACTS!! My car has TWO OPEN RECALL CLAIMS. The manufacturer is checked it on 6/19/17 for seatbelts safety, and discovered other immediate repairs needed. Possible Dealer Fraud or LEMON LAW Claim...SMH, I just want to enjoy a safe car.
4) and last, Edwin promised the car was ready to go & DETAILED on 5/24/17. ..GUESS WHAT, IT WASN'T, aside from everything mentioned, it was DIRTY.
Didn't buy anything. We are still in the shopping around for the right car. Sales personnel were very polite and helpful. Most likely will return if/when the right car becomes available.

called these guys about a doge van, priced way high over other comparable vans iv'e seen. The 'manager' ( didnt say he was a manager when I asked him for a manager} he hung up on me. I called back he asked me what " I wanted to spend?. I said it depended on the vehicle and mileage.
