Percys appliance Review

Percy's is awesome! I've been roofing for twelve years now, it's messed my back up, and I thought one of those nice expensive mattresses would help me sleep at night, but never thought I could afford one. So I just dealt with it. I had no idea I could find such a high quality bed for such a low price! Since I got my new queen size mattress and box spring for a ridiculously low three hundred dollars I've been sleeping like a baby. Thank you so much, Gina Warren, for helping me out!

Upon entering, the staff was very friendly. I was helped by Product Specialist Jeremy Nork. He was very courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable and staightforward regarding my inquiries about refrigerators, specifically in their outlet section. It was my first experience at Percy's and I will be glad to return to Percy's for all of my future appliance needs.

Had an amazing experience at Percy's. Had been to Home Depot but at Percy's, Jeremy, my sales rep, was so helpful, knowledgeable, and informative, never pressuring me about anything! I ended up buying a Bosch dishwasher with the latest technology along with a fridge, microwave, and conduction range. Will never go anywhere else for future appliances! We decided to go to Percy's as we were updating our kitchen. We were fortunate enough to be assisted by Meira Kaplan. She was very, very helpful and made our buying 4 appliances an enjoyable experience rather than a nightmare. I would recommend her to anyone who may be interested in purchasing appliances. She is terrific.

After shopping at 6 different appliance stores to replace our broken dishwasher, shopping at Percy's was by far the best experience. Adrian was most helpful directing us to the Bosch dishwashers that we were looking for and was very skilled in describing the differences and features between the models. We never felt pressured to buy but ended up special ordering a model they didn't stock. The following Tuesday the DW arrived as promised. We installed it and the dishes are once again clean! At the beginning of March, 2020, (March 3rd, more specifically), we suddenly experienced an error code on our expensive Bosch dishwasher. It could not have happened at a worse time - 4 displaced family members of ours moved in with us and exponentially increased the number of daily dishes that now needed hand-washing.

Our calls to Percy's began at that time and I was lucky enough to speak with Tina. (I also spoke with Andrea as well, and she was also very nice!) From the beginning, Tina was professional, attentive, helpful, and honestly made me feel as though I was the only customer in the world that mattered. She took care of making calls directly to the warranty provider, and she followed-up when initial paperwork was processed incorrectly. Meanwhile, she always kept me updated as to the progress being made and we always felt as though she was working persistently on our behalf,

I was able to speak with Tina this morning to get a new dishwasher ordered and she was extremely thorough when I asked for details about every line item. She explained and clarified with great specificity, and delivered a final sales order exactly as we had discussed.

Percy's should be very proud to have Tina as a team member. It is clear that she takes her job very seriously and that she works tirelessly to ensure that customers are 100% satisfied. As consumers, my husband and I have always found service after the sale to be extremely important and maybe even more important than the actual sale itself- and this was never more evident than now as to how important this is to us. As a result, we will be lifelong Percy's customers and we both have and will continue to recommend Percy's to our friends and family - even strangers too!

Great find! We searched for a while for a washer and dryer to fit in a tricky space. Finally we tried Perry's and the saleswoman took lot's of time with us to make sure we found the best solution.

Yet another great experience at Percy's, even under the cloud of Covid-19. We have been buying our appliances here for over 20 years - staff is always friendly and helpful, and provide excellent installation and product service. Percy's staff was knowledgeable and friendly. There were no high-pressure sales tactics, just the information we needed to buy a dishwasher. Staff and customers wore masks, which I appreciated. Delivery on our dishwasher took a while but we are very happy to have it.

Jeremy has the patience of a saint and talks you through every option and feature of an appliance. His enthusiasm for your great customer experience and love for his profession is self evident. Most recently during COVID19, Jeremy helped me virtually with a washer and dryer purchase, and just this week with a dishwasher upgrade. The delivery team is excellent for the way they professionally navigate heavy, cumbersome appliances in and out of your home without a scratch. Be sure to tip them because these guys deserve it. As I left Percy's newly remodeled showroom last night, I looked around thinking about how I can't wait to return for my next appliance purchase and wondered when I would be giving Jeremy Nork a call again.

We have been customers of Percy's since we first bought our home 15 years ago. We always shop around, but we continually end up at Percy's for the final purchase. Their sales team is professional, knowledgeable, responsible, and efficient. Our most recent purchase was for a BOSCH dishwasher. Scott Anderson was our product specialist. He was friendly, not pushy, and incredibly responsive. We will be back...I think our refrigerator will be the next to go!

Rick Medeiros afforded us exemplary customer service!!! We were seeking several appliances (a dishwasher, above range microwave, and stove) to accompany our kitchen renovation and wanted to shop and support locally. As things are different during this time, we did most of our shopping online to begin with. Once I had an idea of things I liked the look of, I called and spoke with Rick Medeiros, who walked me through the whole process, and used his expertise to give suggestions and detailed information on each product to help us choose the best match for our family's needs. Rick went above and beyond when our originally ordered appliances would not arrive in time for our renovation (due to backup from current circumstances due to COVID), and he matched us with the most similar products that would be available from Percy's Warehouse to ensure that we could keep our contractor on schedule. We highly recommend Percy's, and can't speak highly enough of our experience and interactions with Rick.

Purchased a 5-year extended warranty on a fridge in 2017 and had to use it once for a defective gasket.

The fridge is giving me problems again, so I called Percy's. I was told that I only had $60 to use and had 2 options; either apply it towards the purchase of a new one or get a credit from the warranty company.

Buyer be aware! This is deceitful.

Spent $16,000 for appliances. The dishwasher needed a tip bracket installed under cabinet. Percy's would not fix the problem and denied it. The oven failed several times in first year.

I had the very good fortune of working with Katie in Customer Service.

Katie was able to help get a part for me that I didn't think was available. I was very happy when she advised that the part was available and she could get it for me and she did. She carried through and contacted when the part came in and helped to schedule a service call.

In the future I plan to buy appliances and appliances from Percy's. Their prices are very competitive and their service is excellent!

My wife and I have been shopping for all of our appliances at Percy's exclusively the last few years due to their awesome customer service and the honestly of their salespeople. Our latest purchase was a BOSH dishwasher . My wife had a eye for the BOSH before coming in but Jeremy really sold me on this . We previously bought a Speed Queen washer from him earlier in the year and couldn't be happier .Both of these top of the line products are well worth the money. We were worried that we would have to wait for this product due to CODVID and the upcoming tax free weekend because we desperately needed a new one as our dishwasher broke down that day. Instead of waiting to buy it on the tax free weekend , BOSH gives the discount of removing the tax for its customer so we could skip that whole process and buy and pick up that day. The next day , it was installed by our plumber. It was so quiet that our plumber didn't think it was even on! Highly recommend Percy's , shop local!

We purchased appliances for our new kitchen from Percy's in the fall of 2017. We purchased all Kitcken Aid appliances including a 5 burner induction stove top. In approximately five months, 3 of the 5 burners failed. It is now December 27, 2018 and will still have 3 non functioning burners. Percys Customer Service has done nothing to help. The parts to repair the stove top have been on order. They have sent repair people twice (without even scheduling an appointment) with no parts. They sent a part, scheduled an appointment then had to cancel the appointment because the part delivery was incomplete. At this point, we have been without a fully functional stove top LONGER then with a fully functional stove top. As a consumer, we deserve better service both from Percys and Kitchen Aid. If the stove top (which was under waranty) could not be repaired in a timely fashion, a new top should have been offered. We are very disappointed with both Percys and Kitchen Aid.

Salesperson Jeremy was very knowledgeable and helped us find the appliances we wanted. The store was stocked with many high quality ovens, dishwashers and refrigerators. An excellent experience overall.

I went to Percy's because of past positive experiences. The showroom is clean, large and easy to navigate. My salesperson, Rick, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I purchased a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Percy's prices beat those of the big box stores and the family owned stores that I had researched. Percy's IS quality. I will be back!

Percy's was recommended to us by a neighbor who had purchased several appliances from them. After scouring the internet, we decided to go with Percy's to purchase a Bosch dishwasher. This decision was based not only upon price, but also on reputation. The entire purchase took place over the phone with the help of Product Specialist David Brown. He was very helpful and professional. The dishwasher had to be special ordered so I cannot comment on the delivery process yet but I am confident it will be just as smooth as the sale itself.

I Communicated with Jeramy on line and over the phone He assisted us in buying a new refrigerator. He was knowledgeable about the product and helped us make a decision. The item was in stock and we received it in 4 days. The men who delivered it were excellent, professional, and made sure every detail was completed. This was our second trip to Percy's this year, we are replacing older appliances. Walking in the door we were asked if we wanted any help. A friendly sales person that knew the appliances we were looking for was called over. Jeremy Nork was very knowledgeable about the Dishwasher we were looking at. We knew coming in that we were interested in the Bosch units. He listened to our wants and needs and showed us the options they had in stock. He did not instantly direct us to the most expensive models but instead showed us each model and all the pros and cons of each. Jeremy told us about each of the models and their corresponding rebates and discounts that were available for each.
Our experience was very smooth and comfortable - there was no pressure to buy now or to buy a specific model. Overall, this was a very good shopping/buying experience and we are sure to return as our appliances are in need of replacement.

These kinds of experiences are why we go to Percy's for our Home appliances.

Just bought a new wall oven microwave combo and had Percy's do the measure and install. The 2 gentleman that came were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did an excellent install and my kitchen was left spotless! Very much appreciated the terrific service-thank-you Jim and Dave!

Mixed feelings. We did get a pretty good deal as we had to buy all new appliances (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer, and dryer) for our new house that was being built.
However, the washer and dryer were not delivered with the rest of the appliances as we were told they would be, which was mildly inconvenient seeing as we moved in and had no laundry for almost a week (like I said, mildly inconvenient as we really didn't go too long without it). But the inconvenience piled on as we needed to schedule another time to meet them at the house, and then that particular they were late. We were given a 3-hour window and they came about 30 minutes after that window had ended, meaning my husband hung around longer.
We also are in the middle of an issue with the stove. After using it for the first time, our carbon monoxide alarms went off. We needed to call in the fire department, who tested the house and obtained a reading of 65ppm. This meant we needed to air out the house - in freezing January - and also were advised to not use the stove.
Percy's will send a tech out, but told us they couldn't have anyone out there for 5 days. That means we will be at least a week, if not more, without the ability to cook.
It's frustrating as we just moved, which is stressful enough, and want to settle in. So the combination of waiting for the washer/dryer for an extra week, and then losing the stove for who knows how long, etc... hasn't impressed myself or my husband much.
Customer service at the store is good, but it's hard to stay in touch with one salesperson.
This has been our experience. Cost is competitive, and I'm sure these issues are not common, but, communication on delivery etc... could definitely be better. I also feel that our sales rep or someone from the store could have reached out at some point during these issues.

Talk about great customer service! Brendan at Percy's is fast and provided me with a number of options. With COVID there is a lot of delays but Brendan was able to track down some appliances for a rental property that worked great!

My dishwasher broke and I needed to purchase another. I was uncomfortable going into stores to shop for one given COVID-19. I researched highly ranked dishwashers in Consumer Reports and decided to buy a Bosch, but was unsure which model would best meet my needs. The Percy's web site had many models displayed. I preferred to purchase from Percy's because it's a local company. I spoke with Adrian Chambers over the phone and he assisted me in selecting a Bosch 500 series dishwasher with a recessed handle. Adrian also arranged a local plumber, Gabriele Plumbing & Heating to pick up, deliver and install my new dishwasher, as well as remove and dispose of my old one within a few days after purchase. It was an excellent, stressful, purchasing experience. I highly recommend Percy's TV & Appliance because of their high quality service, products and competitive prices.

I bought a refrigerator at Percy's TV & Appliance Warehouse in Worcester. Their staff could not have been nicer from the sales guy Dave Brown to the front desk ladies to the guy working the loading dock. All great people and a really great, affordable product. If you're looking for anything, TV or appliance, you should check out Percy's. You won't be disappointed.

Why is this the first time I went in to this store? This is a great appliance store.

Salesman said appliance to be in on Tuesday and I could pick Wednesday. It was not in until Friday afternoon. Salesman also said he would accompany the email receipts etc with a hard copy. Not done

Have purchased from Percy s before and it always is easy and good. Matt was our salesman and he did a great job explaining our options and helping us make the right decision on a dishwasher. If you're looking for a new appliance ask for Scott. Scott made purchasing a new washer machine during a pandemic as easy and pain free as possible. Just bought a new Bosch dishwasher from Percy's. Super quick and easy, Adrian was great, and the prices were very competitive. I'll be shipping here again in the future.

This should be the only place you go to get appliances and TVs in this area. Super clean showroom, super friendly staff and best prices around. Oh and they price match without question as long as you can prove another retailer has the exact same model for cheaper! Best extended service plans around as well! Go! You won't be disappointed.

We went to Percy's today to purchase a dishwasher. I had already done my research and we knew exactly what we wanted. We had an appointment with Jeremy Nork and we were early. He was ready for us and had already reviewed his online conversation with my husband. He was prepared with all the information I needed and was happy to show us the dishwasher up close and personal and had the answers to all my questions. I was very impressed with his level of knowledge of all the ins and outs of the Bosch that I wanted. It was clear that he knew what he was talking about in regards to Bosch and he was clearly a fan of it. He researched every discount we were eligible for and made sure we got the very best price. After getting nowhere with Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, and another appliance store over the last two days we got exactly what we wanted a lower price than we were prepared to pay. Couldn't be happier and will use Percy's for all our appliances from now on.

I don't live in MA but was trying to order a part from their store online. I called first to verify a few things with them directly and the lady that helped me was incredibly helpful. Even though she let me know that they didn't have the item that I needed in stock, she gave me A LOT of information that helped me find the item from somebody else. Overall, I was very impressed with the level of concern and professionalism. I wish that all interactions I have with sales people (both online and in stores) could be this good. Our fridge and freezer stopped working overnight so we needed a replacement quickly! I found the model I wanted at Percy's for a really, really good price. Nickolei sent me pics to make sure I'd be happy with it and we had it delivered the same day. Great customer service there.

The delivery guys were absolutely brilliant - helped us lug it in the house and took the doors off and put them back on for us as well as taking our old fridge freezer.

We entered the store ready to buy multiple appliances. Gina worked with us showing us the units we interested in and also showed us comparable appliances. She was knowledgeable, answered or researched our questions and allowed us to take our time.

With all that is going on with the pandemic, the last thing I wanted to worry about was a leaky dishwasher. I found Percy's on the web and was immediately helped by Jeremy Nork first online and then by phone. We quickly picked the replacement I wanted and needed, purchased it, and will have the old one removed and the new one delivered and installed quickly.
Being new to the area, it's always hard to decide where to put your trust. I am glad that we found Percy's.

Last night my refrigerator died, so I rushed to Home Depot early this morning. I waited an hour in their appliance section for help, just to be told I couldn't walk in n walk out with the refrigerator of my choice. I had already rented their pick up truck, so I ran into Percys just a few blocks on Glennie St. Although they were not open for another 10 minutes, I didn't have to wait! I got out of the truck n was greeted by Alan their VP, he let me right in and introduced me to Rick. In less then an hour I had accomplished my mission. Walk in with a truck and walk out with my much needed appliances including an AC for my kitchen! Thank you guys I will not forget this! They also deliver.

Despite being in store on black Friday weekend , Saturday , and atleast 6 employees and less than 10 customers, I was not helped for the entire 30 minutes I was there.
Plus best buy down the street is cheaper and better service

I bought a Bosch dishwasher yesterday Nov 19th. The salesman, Rick Medeiros, answered every question my wife and I asked, demonstrating his expertise on dishwashers. He never pushed us toward one model or another, just sought to find the right model that met our needs and budget. When I went to install it, 2 critical parts were missing. I phoned Rick and after apologizing, he located some spare parts and incredibly in this day and age, delivered them to our home. After completing the install and running the washer, my wife couldn t believe how clean they were saying they look brand new. This is our 4th dishwasher in 13 years, first Bosch. We re impressed.

Needed a D/W in a hurry - Talked to David Brown at Percy's very helpful in recommending different models. Didn't like the ones in stock. Next day, saw another model show up in stock, and called him back. Was able to buy it and pick up within 3 hours! Great service.

Because of Nicolae Mazuli I am a loyal fan of Percy's. We are in the process of selling our house and moving into a condo. I had to buy all new stainless appliances to stage the house. In addition, I had to pick out appliances and a bed for our condo. What could have been overwhelming was fun because Nicolae did all the heavy lifting. When the refrigerator I picked out didn't look right in the house, he did all the research and found a perfect fit. He advised us on all our choices, so we were able to make well informed buying decisions. He is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, hard-working, and provides a fantastic buying experience. Nicolae is a joy to work with and has made Percy's my #1 buying destination!

I was very happy with my service today when purchasing a Bosch dishwasher. Jeremy was very helpful and patient, offered me many options, took the time to show me the features of the different models. Prices are comparable. I have used percy's in the past and have always had good customer service and have been very satisfied.

Over the last roughly 15 years I have purchased several appliances from Percy's, based on: lowest available price, variety of brands and models available for viewing in their showroom, knowledge of their product offerings - which I have a sense they've carefully selected as products they can stand behind, and most importantly their knowledge of home appliance technology in general. In addition, I've always found their staff and approach quite refreshing. Every salesperson I've encountered at Percy's has been pleasant, helpful and absolutely never pushy. Most recently I purchased several Benchmark series Bosch appliances at Percy's. Immediately upon installation I noticed serious defects in my newly installed slide in induction range. The most concerning defect was a stray current that created a shock hazard, such that I had to disconnect the range, leaving me without a cooktop. I immediately contacted Percy's and Bosch. On Bosch's customer service all I got was an endless apologetic recording attributing the unusual wait time to the holidays. Percy's, on the other hand, swung into action and, apparently without any help from Bosch, escalated the case by locating an identical replacement induction range and getting it installed and operating in my kitchen within 48 hours, no questions asked. The replacement range was defect free and has been performing flawlessly since it was installed approximately 12 weeks ago. Percy's management could not explain why Bosch had been so unresponsive but was genuinely concerned that my experience be satisfactory and promptly sent me a check for $100 to compensate for my inconvenience. Cannot be more pleased with my experience with Percys. Purchased a bosch dishwasher for a great price.
When Roy, the installer, arrived, he measured my counter height and realized that it was too short for the model I ordered.
Roy immediately called Nicolae Mazilu, the sales person with whom I had worked. He was able to quickly research additional models while we were on the phone, and found one with all of the features I wanted that would fit into the space.
He was also able to get me that model for the exact same price so I would have no additional expenses, AND, put a rush on the order.
Thank you Roy, Nicolae, and the store manager, for making Percys a store that truly puts customers first.

Excellent service! My sales person, Tina Sunden was helpful but not pushy. She was very knowledgeable and made my purchase very fast and easy. The delivery guys were very polite and on time. When does THAT ever happen :). I will definitely recommend Percy's to my friends.

Purchased a TV on cyber monday. They were able to hold the TV for me to pick up the weekend before Christmas. SO HELPFUL! Thanks Brendan. My son opened his TV and was so surprised. The TV reception is awesome. It is HD capable and he has been able to connect his computer to it.

Meira Kaplan at Percy's was very helpful and patient when we purchased a new refrigerator. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for any new appliances.

Don't waste your time, they are not interested in customers! Came there 3 times, payed for the measurements, had top equipment chosen. In one of those days we told them "we are going to buy today" however after a series of very confusing information and waste of time they let us walk away without buying, promising they would get back to us. They never did! Very disappointing! We decided they didn't deserve our money. We went to another store payed more and bought our top brand induction+downdraft. I regret having to make this review a one star.

We shopped around at all of the big box retailers first, they were all out of stock. Thank you Percy's for coming through during the pandemic so we could purchase a Dishwasher at a fair price. We had multiple options to choose from and your sales person was very helpful to guide us. From purchase to installation was less than a week. I will definitely start at Percy's for my next appliance purchase.

We went to Percy's to look at washing machines and dryers. We had done some research and had an idea of what we wanted. Jeremy Nork was our salesman and he was informative and offered different scenarios with the washer and driers.
We purchased a washer and dryer and felt confident we made the right choice and received a great deal. I would highly recommend Jeremy and Percy's if your looking for appliances.
