Over the last roughly 15 years I have purchased several appliances from Percy's, based on: lowest available price, variety of brands and models available for viewing in their showroom, knowledge of their product offerings - which I have a sense they've carefully selected as products they can stand behind, and most importantly their knowledge of home appliance technology in general. In addition, I've always found their staff and approach quite refreshing. Every salesperson I've encountered at Percy's has been pleasant, helpful and absolutely never pushy. Most recently I purchased several Benchmark series Bosch appliances at Percy's. Immediately upon installation I noticed serious defects in my newly installed slide in induction range. The most concerning defect was a stray current that created a shock hazard, such that I had to disconnect the range, leaving me without a cooktop. I immediately contacted Percy's and Bosch. On Bosch's customer service all I got was an endless apologetic recording attributing the unusual wait time to the holidays. Percy's, on the other hand, swung into action and, apparently without any help from Bosch, escalated the case by locating an identical replacement induction range and getting it installed and operating in my kitchen within 48 hours, no questions asked. The replacement range was defect free and has been performing flawlessly since it was installed approximately 12 weeks ago. Percy's management could not explain why Bosch had been so unresponsive but was genuinely concerned that my experience be satisfactory and promptly sent me a check for $100 to compensate for my inconvenience. Percy's is an exceptional appliance dealer in a field of many choices!
