They refused to warranty a motherboard in a machine they built because the computer technician who worked on it last had removed the hard drive cables to preserve the data present on the hard drive. The motherboard had failed due to bad cap syndrome. The failure was clearly obvious.
This was a computer belonging to a non-profit sporting club.
How will they treat your warranty claim? Especially if you've built it yourself!
