Absolutely stellar service. Had to get a part replaced (no fault of theirs) and had it collected, returned to them and a replacement delivered to me within three days - even during these rather troubling times. Couldn't ask for better.

Overclockers UK I just want to thank you for the amazing customer journey you have given me.

I recently purchased a monitor from you and it was defected which is perfect common due the the nature of monitors, the monitor would randomly turn off and on, I called the customer support line and the person that I spoken to was so professional and helpful.

The amazing Overclockers UK resolved my issues in a matter of 5 days which in my opinion is amazing ! I did not even have to do anything at all like nothing I just had to put the monitor back in its package they collected it and got a replacement.

I am so happy with the customer service journey that from now on any future upgrades for my pc will 100% be bought for Overclockers UK I can't believe how fast the situation was dealt with and they kept me update all the way.

I wanted to post this review to incurring people to buy from Overclockers UK, defected products are a really common thing specially with monitors and it's the fault of the manufacturer not of sellers in this case Overclockers.

I've always built my own PC's but guess I've gotte...

I've always built my own PC's but guess I've gotten lazy and also it can now be cheaper getting them built than buying the parts your self.
I've used Overclockers in the past to buy parts and they have been around for a long time with a good reputation.
I'm now finding that maybe that reputation is based on the past and not current.
Bought a new PC and it arrived about 10 days later, within a day the system kept rebooting itself at random times, could be an hour could 7 or 8 hours, doing completely different tasks.
The system event log showed power failure.
I agreed to make things easy for everyone that they ship me a new power supply as that seemed the most likely cause.
Changed that but the reboots continued. Before every critical error was the same sequence in event manager exactly 1 second before.
I advised all this to Overclockers who arranged for the PC to be collected and said I could remove the main drive to save removing a load of confidential files.
A week later I get it back with the repair being them installing a new copy of windows on my secondary drive, that did contain all my family photos and music of the last 10 years until they overwrote everything. Who in their right mind would even do that. Oh look there isn't a drive with windows here, lets overwrite all these personal files with a new version, that should fix it.
So i put the original drive back in, remove everything I've installed and confidential stuff and send it back, again.
The manager I spoke to said they would be compensating for this aggravation and refunding part of the cost of the PC, I suggest that instead they do me a deal on a new gaming monitor as I'm after a new one.
Eventually get the PC back with a new CPU, drives, ram and motherboard!

I'm obviously unhappy at this given the amount of aggravation they have caused me and them already telling me that they will be doing that.
I ask to speak to the manager, but they aren't available at that time as they are on the phone but they will call me back within the hour.
1 week later I've had no contact from overclockers.
Bought a monitor elsewhere now and learned a lesson about so called good reputations.
I'm sure that if everything is good from the start then it will be OK, if you get a problem however this company has zero customer service and it's the customer service when something goes wrong that defines a company.

First and definitely the last time I order from overclockers.
Item showed as in stock, I ordered Friday morning (2pm cut off time) it's now Tuesday afternoon and it still hasn't even been processed.
Last part I'm waiting on to complete my build,
I could (and should have) ordered from ebay, currys pc World etc but thought these guys were supposed to be very good, I was very wrong.
No reply to Web ticket enquiry, they don't even answer the flipping phone! I've called and waited over 30 mins on 4 seperate occasions.
And the worst bit is if you want to cancel, you have to send them a letter and wait 14 days!
Absolute joke of a company. Avoid at all costs

Place an order 2 weeks ago (2nd December) at 14:22pm, I called them the next Monday asking for it and they said it was due to be deliver at the end of that week, so I waited.
I called them this morning again and the answer was literally the same.

Terrible ordering experience.

Ordered two MSI 3080s on release day (just barely as their site was hardly even usable) queued for both of them and paid on separate orders, then waited weeks for a queue date and unhelpful updates from their forum that were vague and often manipulated to look better for OC, then they canceled one order, with no reply to me when I contested it. Still 8 weeks from release without a card and not the faintest prediction of when it might arrive, plus no clarification on if the free Watch Dogs game code will be extended to when my card eventually arrives. Abysmal service.

Very poor customer service. When buying they maybe good, but when coming to RMA- you have to prove 10 times over that the item is faulty with no fault of your own. They make you feel guilty that you are placing a valid RMA within the warranty period.

I will never buy from OCUK again. Scan, Ebuyer, tekheads much better customer service and better prices as well.

Shame for the "sheep" people in the forums and rules where you cannot discuss competitors (who obviously have better prices than OCUK at any given time of the year). Go suck on a boiled egg.

Waiting 45 mins on the phone and then they just hung up.

I emailed and then admitted it was a "b" quality and was added back to stock by "accident".
I asked them to call me back after 2 days of email tennis and there 10 hour wait time between emails.... And they point blank refused as they were to busy ???

Emails take ages to reply... Weren't willing to send a replacement or like for like so I have to wait for a refund and try and find a replacement elsewhere.

Shocking customer service absolute shambles.

My friend had a whole pc built and overclocked by them.

Mines less spec but runs rings round it.

Won't use again.

Update on this i contacted support and got a cheeky reply saying I would just have to wait and if i cared to call the manufacturer. How about you don't lie about having the stock in and taking the payment before shipping. Have even opened up a paypal dispute and no response from Overclockers UK

You will not receive your item PERIOD , wating a week now with no update and cant contact them, other companys like SCAN, EBUYER AND CCL are still managing to deliver next day and update customers. OVERCLOCKERS Will loose so much custom after this! just check trust pilot aswell for more negative reviews.

A simple message from overclockers to explain there will be a delay and a delivery estimate would of solved everything. But they dont reply! and good luck getting through on the phone.

Im a 10+ year customer of theirs and wont use them again.

Having been in store and ordered online I can say that regardless of method of purchase that customer service seems to excellent within this store. Having recently made an online order I was a little concerned I wasn't getting the usual email trail informing me my item had been dispatched, I rang them to figure out what was going on. Found out my item had gone out of stock, a bit of a let down, but we sorted out a replacement and it was delivered next day (Sunday) at no extra charge due to the mix up. A very nice gesture on their behalf and one of them many reasons I will continually keep buying from them.

Leaving an honest review - I can totally understand the frustration left from previous reviews regarding deliveries, as my partner paid for a Saturday delivery that did not happen.
I called on Monday morning to chase for an update and I was feeling somewhat frustrated we had had no update on the parcel s scheduled delivery over the weekend.

However, after a brief waiting period on the phone line we were assured by Rich that the parcel was in stock, leaving the warehouse that day and was guaranteed delivery by the next day. Rich understood my frustration regarding the Saturday delivery payment and immediately refunded the delivery payment without me even having to ask.

The parcel was delivered the next day at 8am and in perfect condition. Due to Rich s polite and friendly manner and utter professionalism I am leaving a 5 star review as he totally resolved the situation and my partner is delighted with his chair.

Thank you Rich - you are an asset to the Overclockers team

Service was absolutely brilliant from Overclockers. Any questions or queries I had, they answered swiftly. After my experience, I don't think I'll buy components from elsewhere ever again. Would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Especially impressed with their dealings with customers who bought GTX 970 cards. No competitor even comes close in my eyes.

1 of the 3 items worked fine from the get go. Had to send back a kit of RAM which has lifetime warranty... lol. My Ryzen CPU, R5 3600, isn't even a year old and because of the PGA socket, it took two of the pins off when removing the heatsink. Latch was still down so it should have held the cpu.

Overclockers are my "go to" shop for anything computer related.

There is simply no competitors for them in terms of price, service, technical knowledge and after sales support. Not to mention that they happen to have an excellent community of people on their forums who are also keen to help and share the same sentiment about Overclockers.

They have been nothing but courteous and extremeley helpful with any issues i have had throughout almost 10 years of being a customer and as such, I will continue being a customer.

These guys set a benchmark that others cant match.

I have been purchasing from OCUK for 15 years plus for all my PC needs and they have always been fantastic. The prices are competitive and the after sales support which you really need with components is very helpful and impressive. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

They are having some very serious problems at the moment, and no effort is made to make the customer aware. A simple web note that orders will be extremely delayed would be the honest thing to do. Customer service line has a 20min delay. The only positive thing I can say is they did give me a refund after I canceled my order 2 weeks later.

I have used OC before and they were great. At the moment.. Genuinely avoid. I like to support 'local' business where I can but I recommend you avoid OC for the time being.

I was on the preorder list for the new Nvidia RTX 3070 and was upgraded to the OC edition for free. Very happy with 'Gibbo' who frequently updated on the situation of stock and deliveries (he is the one who upgraded preorders to OC editions). Amazing customer service. 100% would recommend buying PC parts from here.

Did not meet my expectations, I would not recommend this company to my friend because of the lack of transparency regarding GPUs stock and limited website functionality. I have a strong feeling that they don't care about their customers.

I ordered a set of components for my new PC build, which Overclockers delivered without any issues. But there are a few things which I did not like:

1. I decided to build the PC because I wanted to enjoy RTX 3080. With the current level of my progression in the pre-order queue, I might get the GPU by the middle of April 2021. I understand that Overclockers does not have control over the manufacturing, but where they have total control is communication with customers, and this turned out to be an extremely frustrating thing.

On their GPU status page, they say:

"Luckily, Overclockers UK is one of the UK's biggest resellers which guarantees we will always be one of the very first companies to acquire stock in the UK."

This is, unfortunately, is an empty promise without any specific details. For example, they don't give any specific information about the current pre-order queue size. And the only chance to figure your queue position is a Friday update once a week. But by that time you have already sent them your money and kind of committed.

If I have seen the actual pre-order queue size, I would not have placed the order with Overclockers.

One of Overclockers competitors behaves much more transparent. They publicly post the queue sizes, and expected delivery dates. They keep customers updated twice a day. Unfortunately, overclockers do not bother to do it, and all you could count on - is their sporadic post in their forum about expected deliveries. I hope this example could help them to improve in the future.

2. Website experience is not the best one. Filtering and sorting functionality is very limited and frustrating. I could not even sort by stock presence.

Look elsewere these guys will threaten you to void warranty if you are not happy with parts of your pc that do not suit you or that you are not satisfied with but if they "ok it" for you to change them then you can do anything you want otherwise you have to send it to them and they tell you its going to take months.
worst experience ever.
also in a new build pc they put a used psu in my pc which was causing booting issues(this was changed easily because they probably knew about it).Why I think it was used? Because of the screws that open the psu

Ordered parts on the 3rd May, charged me for next day delivery. It is now 7th and order still not here. Customer service worst than you can imagine. Blaming lockdown and everything else for delays but still offer false promises on their website that your order can be delivered next day. Keep hearing they need to check with warehouse. After telling i will cancel my order they refunded postage and have just marked it as dispatched with DPD tracking for delivery today but DPD says they have never recieved a parcel from OVERCLOCKERS. AVOID IF YOU can and don't believe what it says on their website. Buy somewhere else!

In the PC component space, things go wrong. Parts fail, recalls happen, and things break. It's part of the industry, and we deal with it. What keeps me coming back to OCUK time and time again though, is their web service team.

Upon receiving a bunch of new parts on Saturday morning, I found that one was quite drastically faulty. A quick (though uncharacteristically sharp, I must say) call to the helpline resulted in a return number being raised. I followed this up via the OCUK forum, where I provided some images of the issue, and discussed with Staff member, Bailey. On Wednesday (after the bank holiday) the item was posted back, and after an immediate turnaround today (Thursday) which included re-imbursement of my postage and delivery costs, my new part is on route with DPD for delivery tomorrow.

Within a week of placing my initial order, I will have received, returned and taken replacement of my damaged part. Warranty service at its best.

Ordered an RTX 3070 card from them on 03/03/21 and was delighted to have finally gotten one - I had been waiting a long while to finish building my PC.

Got an e-mail this morning 04/03/21 saying that oops, they oversold and that they wouldn't be able to process my order for another 6 weeks until they had new stock.

Speaking to a customer service rep on the phone, they told me that there could be no compensation/reimbursement of even the shipping cost as an apology for the new wait time, let alone store credit.

It's pretty despicable that you aren't managing sales appropriately to avoid overselling, never mind that you offer no compensation to those customers that you have oversold to.

The last 2 times I've tried to order from here they have messed me around. First I paid for next day delivery on an item in stock only for the item to take 3 working days to be delivered. Second time I decided to go for contact less collection, when I called them in the morning I was told it would take 2 hours, so I drove up to the town 2 hours after placing the order, only to wait 5 hours for the shop to close and my item still isn't ready. I'm sticking to ebyuyer now, shame as I've used this company for years

Been using Overclockers UK for years, always have good service and the prices are generally good.

Only issue is the reviews on their website are exclusively cherry picked, so you could be buying a product they only have 5* reviews on their site and in reality it's trash.

I've repleadly attempted to leave a polite-descriptive review of a product I purchased from them, warning and describing a long term side effects it can have. Even months later it has not been approved because I have given it a low rating.

Don't trust any reviews on their website... Anyway you won't find any product reviews less than 3 stars on any product.

If a product has a bad review it won't reflect poorly on Overclockers, if anything it shows they are an honest company and people should know what they are buying. But corrupt review system does look very bad and makes me distrust everything on their website.

I've used them a few times now.

It's mostly been good. My Noble chair is still comfortable after a couple years (my wife recently said it's more comfortable than our recliner sofa's that are only a year old) and I'll definitely buy another one when this one is more worn. The only issue I've had with it is the left armrest went loose recently, and after tightening it back up, the padding on top has warped. I wish I could buy new parts for it as it would be a waste to throw it out for that.

I ordered a cleaning kit for it the other week and arrived quickly and worked really, really well.

The downside has been this week when I ordered 3x AOC 24" 144hz monitors. I ordered on Monday evening on next day, expecting them to arrive on Wednesday ahead of a project I wanted to start and complete this weekend. When I ordered it stated 9 in stock, however when they didn't arrive, I enquired expecting perhaps a delay due to COVID, however I was told by email that they'd been shipped out on other orders, which left me feeling a bit second-class if I'm honest, especially if that stock count was accurate and there were 9 available when I ordered. The other issue is that if I hadn't been in a hurry to get them, I'd had no correspondence to tell me that they couldn't fulfil the order on time and it was only when I enquired would I find out.

To their credit, and as I really wanted the monitors this week so I didn't have a tonne of other boxes laying about beyond this week ahead of my project this weekend, when I got through on the phone they instantly refunded and apologised, so I've managed to order them from elsewhere for next day delivery - a bit more expensive, but I had my heart set on those monitors.

Ive used overclockers a fair amount over the last 15 years but I've decided I'm not using them anymore. Customer service has gone completely downhill. They don't answer email/webnote system. When I rang them the guy on the phone was not interested. I've been trying to send back some components for weeks but not getting any response to my RMA request after the initial guy responded asking why I wanted to return then heard nothing since. Next day delivery is a scam as I've never had next day delivery despite paying for it every time.

I thought I would write this review while I am sitting on hold almost an hour now! This is the third time I have called and was on hold for 40 minutes the first time and gave up the second time 1 hour and this time who knows!.

I placed an order 3 days ago which showed all items in stock and ready for delivery and I just wanted an update on my items as no communication has been given. Reading other reviews it seems if your lucky enough to get through to them you get your order the next day. Yes, we are in a pandemic, but now that I have listened to the voice recordings more times than I care to count they are covid secure and open so why can they not answer the phone. I want to build a water-cooled high end pc and support UK business during this time but this is beyond poor. I am working during the pandemic and I am thankfully offering a better service than this highly rated well established business. Buyer beware. Also they offer 36 month warranty on all built pc's unfortunately it takes 37 months to contact them

If you are going to only offer expensive paid delivery options I expect an in stock item to be dispatched in 1 working day. No excuses. No other large retailer consistently fails at this but OC UK. Covid is no longer an excuse. You have had a year to adapt.

Excellent service. I ordered a laptop on 21st December and needed it by Christmas. I wrote to them on the 22nd in the evening asking if they could expedite delivery. Although they couldn't promise anything, the laptop arrived on the 24th before 9am. I couldn't be more impressed!

I've been using Overclockers for all my gaming PCs for over 30 years and will continue to do so. They're excellent with custom builds, using quality components and all my PCs have lasted in excess of 10+ years.

Highly recommend them for those happy to invest in their gaming hardware.

on hold to get through to someone for 45 minutes (which is actually short compared to normal it seems) and then my order which stated 10-15 working days... now been told 3-4 weeks.

Disappointing. Not the best of starts with this company. Hopefully the finished product is great and then I will be changing this from 3 to 4 stars (which i think is fair)

Update - Ordered My PC on the 27th March - received on the 22 April. Overall customer service when I have managed to get through has been great, I have updated the review from 3 starts to 4.
