Overclockers have gone from strength to strength over the past few years, used to not be their biggest fan but since the move to Milehouse they've stepped their game up. Front desk could be a bit quicker but that's down to staff having to locate what you want in their massive warehouse!

1/3 products delivered faulty after severe delays ...

1/3 products delivered faulty after severe delays in taking payment for an order, ETAs changed weekly last minute. Solution offered by OCUK was to return all 3 products - 2 working absolutely fine - however the product delivered is not in stock and there d be no ETA in the foreseeable future, leaving me without the product and its intended use (exhaust fans for my PC). Will be avoiding and cannot recommend, also prices for GPUs and CPUs are marked up insanely high compared to other sellers such as CCL, Scan UK and AWD-IT (shop with them instead!)

Ordered a full custom build from OcUK. Stuck to their word with the 7 day build time. Package was despatched on the 8th calendar day and arrived next via DPD. System was very well packaged and protected from any damage that it may recieve in transit. PC is working perfectly and I'm totally elated with how the build turned out. Thank you OcUK, will definitely be returning in the future!

ordered from OCUK many times over the years. Have been having more and more problems with them as time has gone on.
Previously order a full list of components which at time were all in stock. I then receive a email telling me the ssd was not in stock, so i picked a new one. Then a week later receive a new email saying that now the GPU and Case were out of stock and i had to choose a new one. So they had not put these aside for my order at time of purchase when they didn't have the ssd.


call support and the person i speak to is nice and arrange collection.
Monitor received by them on the 3rd of july.
By the 31st of july, no new monitor and idea when they would have it in stock, after calling each week for a update and each week being told "oh it will be in early next week"
finally asked for a refund, which took one and a half weeks to clear.

Also posted a review of the monitor mentioning the slow return and also a note on the of centre vesa mount to warn people, but as the reviews filtered by OCUK it was not allowed to be shown giving a false rating to the monitor.

I have ordered from ocuk since 2007 but i really can not cope with this level of service. every other order with them has problems.

only reason for 2 star and not one is due to it not being 100% of the time with problems.

Used Overclockers a few times but my last attempts to get a graphics card has been a sham. RX 6800 XT ordered but notified later it was oversold so you will get a refund about a week after that i tried for an AIB. I waited and waited nothing for about an hour after 2pm. I called them which was a 45min hold to be told they didn't have any cards I asked why not tell people on FB twitter, I was told management told them not to. Tried for a 3060ti today and its another piss take by the look of it. I try to spend my cash with small companies rather than Amazon but this is just not good business wasting my time. I will not waste my time anymore going to use CCL and SCAN.

I have been ordering from OCUK for the last 8 year...

I have been ordering from OCUK for the last 8 years and can honestly say I have had no issues with this company. Had a faulty water cooler reservoir and the replacement part and new water was sent out to me next day, no hassle. Sweet's with every order is a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Always liked Overclockers. Used them frequently over the last 15 years. Drove to the store to purchase a CPU, and upon arriving discovered that the offer price on the website had returned back to its normal price; the guy at the desk was very helpful and friendly and managed to provide the processor at the lower price I found it at earlier in the day. Great job guys :)

I ordered a Ducky mini one 2 RGB (brown switches) and I am very pleased with my order. It was packed very well unlike a badly packed keyboard I received from a seller on amazon (keycaps rolling around, packed in some thin plastic sheet). Now, it did take a couple days more to arrive considering I did pay more for next day delivery. However, under the circumstances we are in, I do understand Overclockers have to take proper precautions and make a safe work environment for all their employees. The fact that they are accepting and processing orders during this time is pretty amazing. So, if you do decide to place an order with Overclockers (during corona), remember they are trying their best and with the volume of orders they are receiving it can be difficult to process your order as fast as they would like (just something to consider).

Good prices, good enough shipping times, awful when they ship with Dpd, they ve lost every package I ve ordered with them, I don t know why they use still Dpd when they also work with DHL. The customer service is absolutely awful as of the last few months, it used to be amazing, they d have you sorted out in 10-20 minutes, but now you ll be lucky to be done within the hour. I was meant to have a product here in the first week of January, which was then lost by Dpd on the day of delivery and then Overclockers sent out an email informing me that due to brexit, dpd would be cancelling all deliveries to Ireland and had informed me that I could receive a refund or get a replacement product sent, it s now been a full month and I ve heard NOTHING about my refund

I've made several large purchases from OCUK over the last few years, both for myself and others whom I've recommended the site to. Their product selection is probably the widest in the UK if you don't want to trawl through tons of garbage on Amazon etc, yet they still manage to be extremely price competitive in a very competitive market.

The second best reason for shopping with them is their customer service, something which I've yet to find better in any industry, let alone the computing world. Their call center will walk you through any problems you may have with any purchase, they cover return postage and do their best to make sure the customer is happy, not just satisfied. Then their is the OCUK forum, which is a buzzing community of tech fanatics and OCUK employees, who you can interact with easily whenever you need to. They'll walk you through RMAs, post special offers, review tech, and generally give a great wonderful personal touch to the bland world of online shopping.

Their prices may sometimes be a pound or two more than a competitor, but are often cheaper, however when you're talking about a several hundred pound GPU or 4k monitor the peace of mind knowing you'll be looked after offered by shopping with them far outweighs this.

TL:DR - They are the best, buy from them.

Amazing service could not wish for better or more.

I had problems with a motherboard and contacted OcUK about it and was helped immediately and when it was established it was faulty I was told to return it for replacement or refund.
When at OcUK I was seen in a few minutes and they way it was dealt with was simply the way to go, customer service that you could only dream about, I was treated with courtesy and made sure what I wanted was done.

Very professional and the best service in the industry, there is a lot other companies could learn from OcUK.

I bought a corsair H100 cpu cooler (manufacturer reconditioned unit) from Overclockers UK for a very good price. It arrived next day as promised I even got an email with a one hour delivery time slot. Once I installed my new cooler I noticed one fan was noisy and staying at full speed. This was no fault of Overclockers as this was a sealed manufacturer refurbished unit. I messaged them and described my issue through the customer service section of their OCUK forum (very useful and convenient for advice too). It was late at night when I messaged and I received a message back first thing the next morning from Bailey who offered to send me out a replacement fan which I accepted and it was sent out on a next day delivery. This is perfect customer service. I always say you can never truly judge a company till you see how they deal with problems and in my opinion OCUK can not be beaten for there level of service. I know where I will be doing all my future computer shopping. Great prices, excellent offers and unbeatable customer service. Free Harribo sweets too!

Well where do I start I would leave a good review but I normally have major difficulty with overclockers parcel service! or I have to drive 10 miles to the nearest sorting office when they can't be bothered to deliver the item even though I live in a city! There drivers are literally useless! they will claim delivery attempted and you could have waited in all day for them to take a photo of your road sign 20 yards down the road or take a photo of the box in the back of the van, it's a shame really because I build a lot of PCs and spend quite an amount with overclockers, but the last time I had yet again another delivery issue the response I got from overclockers customer service was, we've spoken to DPD and they have said "the driver may try and get back to you today but he's very busy" which was not a good solution for me as i had waited in half the day for his item as it was, not to mention I have pc build deadlines too which makes me look silly, he's probably very busy because they miss drops 24/7 I had no delivery refund no sorry no nothing, in the end I cancelled the order and told them to take it back a so will not be shopping here again I'm gutted I've rated them in the past to be honest and spent so much here in the thousands easily.

Standard Setting Customer Service - 10/10

I have been a PC building enthauast for the last 10 years. Over this time i have learnt many lessons. QUALITY and the BEST customer service doesnt always come with the lowest end user price tags.

OCUK do over and above what is expected from any retailer. Staff are efficient, polite, friendly and very enthaustic within their jobs.

Highly Recommended !
Even if somethign is a little more expensive the support they give (when they really dont have too) is 2nd to none.

Oh and we all love the free Haribo with every order :)

Amazing service. I was having a issue with my GPU water block. I havent tried resolving the issue just yet because the phone cut off but the guy was genuinely so nice and a lot of knowledge. He is part of your technical support team. Talks a lot and definitely would of been talking longer if the phone didn't cut off. Amazing support. :)

This company is just trying to make as much profit...

This company is just trying to make as much profit as possible without caring at all for their customers... I've ordered a brand new CPU and GPU about 3 months ago with OcUK. While I appreciate the current situation, OcUK have been taking thousands of orders they were not able to fulfil, asking people to pay thousand of pounds just to place a pre-order they would have to wait months to get. I tried to contact them 4 times by emails to make amends/upgrades my orders and I never had a reply. I tried to call their customer service twice (once beginning of December and once last Tuesday), each time after one hour waiting, the line was cut off. I even tried to reach to their executive director on LinkedIn in a desperate attempt to be able to talk to someone about the whole situation and never got any answer...
On top of that, they are as well lying on their website and FAQ. On their website they keep their Google review as 4.7 when as of today it is 3.6 and on their FAQ regarding their new RTX 30 series, they promise you will get an update on your queue position every week, the last one I receive was on the 11th of December...
In the end I managed to secure a GPU through another company which costed me almost double but I still went for it as 1.at least I am getting it now instead of having to wait for many more months and 2. I won't be giving money to OcUK.
I am extremely disappointed and moving forward, I will avoid as much as possible doing any business with this company....

I discovered Overclockers last year while contempl...

I discovered Overclockers last year while contemplating buying an Xbox One - and realised quickly that buying a pc was a much better idea!

Since then I have made several orders from them (including an entire system for my flatmate). The massive selection of parts they have there is incredible and at amazingly competitive prices. Service is always excellent, with orders being shipped out the same day if ordering before 4.30 (though I once ordered something at 5.30 and it was still shipped out!) with next day delivery with DPD.

If something goes wrong with a part, their customer service is excellent. Really quick turnaround and excellent advice given beforehand. They give updates every step of the way if asked.

I would definitely recommend becoming a member of their forums. Great advice given on there with regards to building a system and overclocking, water-cooling and part selection. Not to mention the free delivery from OcUK once you have 100 posts ;)

Overclockers provided exceptional support during the whole Nvidia 3.5GB memory issue. Nvidia failed to accept any responsibility but OCuk actually helped out all customers by giving a full refund for the gtx 970 if anyone wanted to return it. I sent it back because I wasn't too happy with how Nvidia treated their customers even though the card was pretty good.

Amazing service from Overlockers UK. Will shop nowhere else after how they were the only ones who looked after their customers during this whole Nvidia debacle.

I have used Overclockers 3 times over the past 9 years to build myself and other people pc's. They've never let me down, and I'm constantly impressed with their customer services and ability to delivery a PC to the specifications I request and require. I cannot honestly recommend anyone else.

Terrible customer services interaction - I ordered a Glorious replacement mouse cable, which didn't come with all the parts in the listing (the video on the listing mentions that it comes with skates - it didn't).

Unfortunately customer services have told me I need to complain direct to the manufacturer and were pretty rude. This is a real shame as I've ordered a lot in the past and have always had a good experience. However now I will just have to order what I need from Amazon.

I have used overclockers regularly over the last 4 years for both full builds and upgrades. On the rare occasions there have been issues (usually outside of their control) they are dealt with quickly. Even when I bought something without researching properly and it simply didn't fit they took it back without any issue and all it cost me was postage.

Prices are rarely beaten by other sites unless they are running special offers. I hope one day to be able to afford one of the specialist 8-pack build PC's, which look simply awesome.

If only every shopping experience was so good. I don't buy my PC components anywhere else.

Shamefully leaving this review 6 months later, but we were absolutely impressed by Overclockers and their service. We built our PC back in April and most of our parts were bought through these guys who were clear, informative and knowledgeable. Packages arrived very quickly (free sweets!) By courier. Prices were very competitive, but where they were pricier than Amazon we still picked Overclockers because of their service. When we inevitably upgrade or I purchase a second PC for my editing work, we will be calling OC again.

Had a fantastic level of customer service from Overclockers UK recently, after buying an expensive graphics card from them which turned out to be faulty. Needed to RMA it, they offered a refund immediately after receiving and testing the card. Faultless.

On the other hand, from several of their competitors I have had the exact opposite experience.

Excellent, friendly and helpful service from people who know what they are talking about. For computer hardware I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Bunch of crooks
Ordered a case from them and got sent back to them due to Brexit, they asked me if I want to get it sent back and I said yea. Now 2 months later still no sign from them and they say they have an "IT issue" which is their way of saying "please cancel your order so we can sell the case at a higher price Thank you".
My first order with them so you'd think they wanted to retain new customers and take care of you but I guess they are too greedy for that.
Stay away if you actually want to get what you pay for!!!

Buy all my computer components from here and they are by far the best supplier of computer parts I have come across. The packages are always shipped asap and the parts are second to none.

Even when I had to return an item they sent me the replacement before I had sent back the old part, and everything was simple and sorted out instantly.

Advertise and sell used Gpus as new. I paid for a brand new gpu and was sent a used/scratched GPU in a tatty box. It was so obvious it was used from the state of the tatty box before I even opened it. Customer service was a nightmare - they finally agreed for me to send it back but they charged me the original postage cost! So I paid them to send me a second hand card then also paid again to send them it back!
Edit - I see you have responded to this. Are you seriously assuming I haven't ordered from you? I have the order number here. Where would you like me to send it as I didn't get any help from customer service.

Incredible service; the benchmark all other retailers should strive to achieve!

Basically, I bought x2 Asus Strix GTX970s at release: As usual, great service from Overclockers UK - quick dispatch, free delivery and some Haribo to top it all off. Omnomnom.

Then all that beef around the specs and performance of the card came about. Nvidia acknowledged an error communicating specs, then after that Nvidia have buried their heads and said it's meant to work that way? Don't know what I'm on about? Just search "nvidia gtx 970 memory issue".

I only noticed issues in games when running in sli at large resolutions with high AA - at 1080p and 1440p with lower AA this card will still rip through games, it's fast as hell. My issue is mis-selling from Nvidia who are doing nothing for their customers other than showing contempt and utter, utter greed.

This is where Overclockers UK stepped in. AT THEIR OWN COST, and under no obligation whatsoever, they are taking returns and giving full refunds on ALL gtx 970s, regardless of purchase date, despite Nvidia saying they won't be accepting returns.

You don't get that from anywhere else. I won't be buying an Nvidia card again, but you can be sure I'll be buying my crossfire AMD cards and Freesync monitor from Overclockers Uk, knowing that if something does go awry, they've got my back :)

Ordered a Noblechairs Epic Gaming Chair on 4th December. At the time of ordering, the website clearly showed it was in stock. Checked my order status a week later to see it still hadn t shipped. As this was a Christmas present I contacted Overclockers to find out when it would be shipped only to be told that the the chair is out of stock and won t arrive until January 2021. What an absolute joke!

This is my first and last order from Overclockers UK.

Avoid and shop elsewhere.

I've been a member of the OcUK forums for a considerable number of years. When I need PC parts Overclockers UK is always my first port of call due to their competitive prices and free delivery for long standing members of the forums. Another thing Overclockers simply cannot be beaten on is speed of delivery. DPD do a fine job on their behalf with stuff ordered even late on in the afternoon arriving the next day. Top effort!

I recently bought a graphics card from OcUK and it developed a problem with artifacts. I requested to return the card and the RMA procedure was carried out in a quick and efficient manner. I have to single out Jargan and Bailey from the Overclockers staff who were absolute stars in assisting me in the RMA process. It was very much appreciated and you guys are a credit to Overclockers UK. It's helpful staff who are true PC enthusiasts that make Overclockers UK the best place in the country in my opinion, to buy PC kit from and is one of the reasons I choose to return time and time again whenever I am buying PC components.

Been using this company for many years, and its all fine until you have a problem: Product was broken in the post and the only option I was given was to go to DPD and post it as a return to get a replacement in up to 5 days. No discount. No immediate replacement. I am a long term customer who has spent a lot of money there, and this product wasn't expensive, but they don't even trust me to send it back to them, even when the product is clearly damaged and worthless. What a mess. Time to follow the rest and switch to scan.co.uk

Paid more than everywhere else because I thought the service would be better. I was wrong. The checkout is terrible and I placed 3 failed orders. The order was then delivered a day late. My monitor I ordered is broken/faulty and they have told me I can't get a refund. I'll have to take this matter further as I know my rights and you cannot sell FAULTY products to people then tell them to go away. NOT HAPPY.

I recently purchased a high end gaming laptop (X3+) from OCUK. Their service both at point of sale and subsequently have been first rate. My laptop screen came with a small defect, which they organised an RMA of immediately and sent a new (and blemish free) laptop the following day. Their team (Bailey has been a standout) has been professional and pragmatic throughout and their service has ensured I will buy from them again in the future.

Product page said "Order within next 4 hours for delivery by 24th December!". Placed order, order wasn't dispatched by their warehouse until after Xmas.

No way to email them.

They refunded my delivery charge, but if they hadn't advertised Xmas delivery I would have driven to the shops and not trusted them.

Note that this wasn't a problem with the courier, this was their company not dispatching in time. I understand it's a busy time of year but they shouldn't advertise things like this which they can't stick to.

I was put off by recent reviews regarding the poor handling of the 3000 series cards and the new AMD chips, that whole situation seems like a mess. However I was let down by other suppliers for a product and tried here. The pricing was good and free DPD two day delivery to Ireland was much appreciated. However when my product didn't ship after a few days I got in touch to which they informed me they had a backlog. I feel this is something that should be stated at checkout, I had also ordered a GPU from Scan.co.uk at the same time that arrived with me in two days, shipping the same day I bought it. Their customer service was happy to refund me and cancel the order, no complaints there, however I got no replies to the webnotes and had to use their forums to ask for this which seems odd in 2020. Better communication and easier access to customer service would go a long way but to be fair they helped out like I asked. I will try them again in future.

Ordered a WD Blue SSD as they wher cheaper than amazon and feel amazon have too much of the market. I was happy to pay extra postage but really expected my order to be sent within 48 hours. If it wasn't for the fact I don't have the money to order from someone else would cancel order as a week before christmas can't afford to wait 3-5 days for a refund.

I may edit this review once my issues are resolved, but I've had a poor experience with Overclockers UK so far which others should know about.



The tilt mechanism is also faulty on this chair and I'm waiting on a replacement for that too. It was in the warehouse to be dispatched today, but it's now close of business and nothing has actually gone out.

As a customer it feels like I'm low priority for dispatch because they have my money already. The amount of issues with the chair itself isn't something I expect on a premium chair at this price point and the poor service makes this poor experience even worse.

I've called OCUK many times and the staff are always helpful and polite, but the promises each time are empty. I've used OCUK many times over the years and the service is usually top notch. I'm sure my issues will get sorted eventually but it has been a frustrating time so far.

Have had some back and forth communication with OCUK over the last 5 weeks and at the beginning of contact, I was experiencing what others had with a lacking customers service unlike my previous experiences. Seems like OCUK's resources have been tested to the limit of late due numerous factors such as the festive period, effects of COVID-19 and component shortages, especially in the CPU / GPU areas.

However, I have noticed a clear drastic improvement in the last week or so with responsiveness so hopefully things are returning back to normal!

Anyway, wanted to say Chris in the returns team was fantastic to deal with, representing exactly what I expect in terms of dealing with OCUK.

I hope the hierarchy are reading these reviews! Stand by and enable your staff and in return they'll look after your customers, just like I have been looked after, who is now looking forward to my next business with OCUK.

I was recommended Overclockers UK a couple years ago by a friend, used them for many orders now. Never had a problem! Quite the opposite, they've been so helpful in my purchases, with great weekly and daily deals.

Always great service and communication, been using the forums a lot more lately and I get a very prompt reply to all my messages or queries.

The Staff are always helpful and lovely and each time the delivery arrived next day.

When items arrive its good. However items take very long to even be dispatched regardless of what shipping you use. Next day delivery is not next day or anywhere near it. I ordered an item 6 days ago and it still hasn't even been dispatched. Called twice first time i was on hold for an hour for them to tell me it will be dispatched the next day. The next day i called again and no answer I'm still on hold for more then an hour I've called them multi[le time and been trying to call them for the past 3 hours with no answer at any point. Also sent an email which didn't get a reply. really unacceptable customer service.

I've ordered twice from Overclockers since Christmas both orders have come within 2 days and the first I had contacted them through webnotes regarding a question and it was responded to within 2 days as well. so really happy so far with the service.

Please people don't get angry and put bad reviews on company's for delays in times like these , especially if you are old costumers that have bought for OCUK always. I can ensure you that even though many months have past since the quarantine the situation is even worse in business especially shipping is soooo bad, i mean really BAD.
I agree they should put a note on the website where they point out the situation but beside that they can't do nothing about the delays
