Excellent medical and nursing care in the ward where I was hospitalized (Cardiology) for intervention following a heart attack and long hospital stay. I am not able to have my say on other departments, but having done several exams, I have always found kind and helpful people.
I especially thank Dr. Cerrato and all the department staff.
Terrible, my great-grandfather was three days waiting for them to be visited, on a cot in the emergency room with constant complaints by doctors because of staff shortages. In addition, my grandmother the nurse responded very badly, while she was only trying to call someone because her great-grandfather wanted to tear the drip. We had him transferred to San Luigi, where they immediately visited him and discharged him after all the tests that lasted about 4 hours and not three days.
For me it is the second experience at the Rivoli hospital, my faith in health care has completely collapsed because of the poor service, too bad considering the high taxes we pay, a clear cause of the cuts made in the neighboring valleys. Nightmare first aid, grueling waiting times, hurried and summary service, little time dedicated to the patient, neglecting individual peculiarities, human side cleared. They speak well of cardiology but it is not enough, everything should work.
Done gastroscopy. Minimum expectations, very kind, helpful staff. I was very agitated and they made me feel at ease, reassured, so much so that I didn't even have to use sedation. All very professional! The hospital is then new, well-stocked and equipped. I also did a resuscitation internship, there are fantastic people on the staff. I will always book all exams there!
The emergency room of this hospital cannot deny the bad reputation it has managed to create over the years. The urp of Pinerolo, which receives complaints, entrenches itself in formalities (respond on time, be polite, put in contact with those responsible) without being able (wanting?) To do more.

I put three stars because, fortunately, not all doctors or nurses are rude. I felt ill in the waiting room from my attending doctor who promptly called an ambulance because the pressure was very low and I had lost consciousness. Arrived at the emergency room and after two hours of air conditioning I recovered but with a tingling and a crazy headache ... the nurse told me that it was enough that I ate something salty ... I didn't have the strength to send her to that country, suddenly I came to call and I turn my head and I had to lie down where it happened ... answer ... we're not on the subway. Hospitals always leave a different impression depending on how worried and frightened we are about what we went to do. I have always dealt with competent and kind people even though I understand that not everyone has the same experience. In this hospital they saved my life twice.

Me and my partner introduced ourselves at 9.40 am for the visit of the child booked at 10 am and after waiting in the room we were informed that the doctor for health problems was not there ..... they said they tried to contact us , but on the phone the call is at 9.12 (....), the result was 4 hours of permission smoked by me and my partner and the child's lost school, now the visit has been moved to May .....

What I would like to say, not without difficulty in expression, is that from when I was admitted to the emergency room on Saturday afternoon to when I left the hospital yesterday morning I have only met friendly, humble, nice, human, professional people, and I am proud to be able to say, because I consider it necessary to gratify all the people who are part of the emergency room and cardiology.
I remember some names, but not remembering them all for correctness I will not mention them.

I only say this: arrived in the emergency room with twinge in the chest. Entered at 11.00 in the morning, left at 21.00 in the evening. Computers out of use since the morning restored later in the evening. That hospital did not come back anymore I entered with hallucinating colic pain but after so much suffering I left alone and I came back to my house.
So I went to the emergency room and the nurses started looking for my veins. Bucchi made me so much that my pain that I had arrived was nothing. I am traumatized. My veins came out blood like an open cabinet, Jesus too cancer and passing through this suffering I remained impressed. First aid is a horrible thing.
For my experience (unique, a year ago) in the ER, apart from access to the triage I prefer to overlook , I was welcomed and treated perfectly by Dr. Tatarciuc.
Recently, however, I happily "landed" on the eighth floor, Anesthesia and Intensive Care Department, directed by Dr. MICHELE GRIO, Anesthetist of high energy value, in the sense that, with the utmost professionalism and superlative assistance (including psychological), he has provided me with excellent personalized care.
Furthermore, the human content received is noteworthy: Dr. Grio offers great empathy that inspires great ... sympathy.
And the patient, reassured, already feels ... half cured.

Very rude first aid nurses (nurse with white hair and one with curly red hair), having to call the carabinieri to be able to speak with a mother hospitalized in the emergency room of Venaria and kept 10 days on a stretcher and then transferred to the Rivoli hospital. Nurse work must be done from the heart, not because you have a permanent job. Now I understand why nurses and doctors are repeatedly beaten.

I wonder if the Triage nursing staff is in charge of determining whether the patient is worthy of clinical investigation? I wonder if, if the answer is negative, it is correct to conduct ironically before a frightened or worried patient or even before a child assuming inadequate tones? Is the Triage staff not instructed to deal calmly and reassuringly with the users who, obviously, if they go to the emergency room, consider themselves in a state of urgent need for assistance?

Surely there will be better departments than others in the complex of the structure, but I remind all those who leave negative reviews to do so only if they have paid every penny of the taxes they have to pay. I hear too many people complaining about public services, with outrage and arrogance, and who, however, maybe evade taxes at full blast. Yesterday I had to deal with my mom again though through the emergency room ... Hallucinating, I understand that there are rightly the most serious cases that bypass the less serious ones but they should review the attitude of the staff in dealing with the patients who ask for information after 16 hours. Unprofessional rude answers.
It is the worst public hospital in the province of Turin, disorganized, with schedules that vary daily, doctors unavailable. Do what you can to avoid it.
