I arrived at the emergency room on 7/01 /
2019 with a fever of 40 and they immediately handled it. They diagnosed me with pneumonia so after the first treatments (antibiotic and paracetamol and rehydration), they sent me home asking, in writing, for a check-up for Saturday 12 in the morning. Excellent first impression from the triage to the handling by doctors and nurses, to the kindness and cleanliness in general.
Saturday I come back and at 10:20 am they register me at the triage where they ascertain that I have no fever, thank God, and the pressure is ok, and with my nice green code, I am going to wait, wait, wait. After 5 hours they call me to get a blood sample, in 5 min.
I'm back in the waiting room to wait for the results, which arrived after about 2 hours.
Now, everything is fine and I am the first to say that the yellow and red codes have ABSOLUTE PRECEDENCE, but why make me wait 5 hours if a sample that was done by a nurse was enough?
Question: and let me do it immediately, and then later with the results, let me see the doctor? In this way, in addition to staying 7 absurd hours on the chairs in the waiting room and it was really not easy, I "committed" a place for no reason.
Another hypothesis: why not let me go to the hospital during the week, so much was it a checkup?

To be honest a flaw, (which the staff manages to make bearable) there, and it's the logistics of that department. I understand that the structure is old and therefore cannot lend itself in an excellent way to the one for which it is designed, but the hospital management should be able to match the professional excellence of that department, with an equal logistics excellence, and if it could do so it would reach perfection.

On 08/06/2019 I went to the Hospital of San Luigi, unable to ingest solids and liquids, by 3.30 pm I will leave at about 10.30 pm, after having received a lot of attention from the doctors, who they book me a gastroscopy for the day 10/06 / 2019. Unfortunately I have a severe inflammation of the esophagus, therefore the problem cannot be seen. I take medicines for this inflammation and afterwards I am again subjected to a gastroscopy, which shows a diverticulum large esophageal. Only an operation can solve the problem. On 25/08/2019 I am admitted to the Thoracic Surgery department and on 08/26/2019 I enter the operating room, where I am operated by Prof.Francesco Ardissone and from his staff. The operation is fine, the assistance in the following days is fantastic, I can thank all the operators of the department, for the kindness and courtesy and we also say a lot of patience. I was operated on by the gallbladder with laparoscopy on April 8th. An intervention done very well, without problems. The medical staff, the nurses, the oss, were wonderful. They pampered me. Congratulations indeed. Keep it up. Infinite humility.

Hospitalized in general medicine in support of ENT, I found department staff and competent staff courteous and helpful. The department kept all the os and polite auxiliaries clean.
