My father was admitted to the hospital in Rivoli because he was from the area, not by choice. Despite the prejudices I tried to have my own idea of the structure and of the doctors and nurses who work there.
I noticed an extreme lack of communication between the departments, promised exams never booked, the need to ask several times for a painkiller and a tendency to want to discharge the responsibility of the patient on the family. Last but not least the lack of willingness to take a moment to calm down and talk with the patient's family if not with a certain nervousness and a lack of understanding that is familiar (in this case, even far away because I live 800km away and I am a daughter unique), one can have questions about the patient's health status and the prospects for healing and care.
