Yesterday I was given a hornet on the back of the foot, this morning I woke up with a trotter instead of the foot and then I decided to take me to the emergency room in Pinerolo. After three hours of waiting they visited me in 2 min., Without even touching me, I have been prescribed the oral Bentalan for five days and my question if tomorrow I would be able to work (since I do not think I can put my shoe on ) I was told "I think so".
To end up teasing with white code then with a ticket cost of 25 euros.
This is my foot, judge for yourself.

2 August 2020, arrival at 7.30 pm, at 10 pm we are still waiting. Waiting for hours on end for a potentially very dangerous head injury trauma, unkind nursing staff and who does not hold back from making ironies towards patients. If this is what universities teach nowadays, I raise my hands, ashamed that the health personnel behave in this way, reach out to Turin in case you need it, which here make you die.

Kindness and availability on the part of the staff of the orthopedics, operating room and post-operative resuscitation departments commendably active also on Saturdays and Sundays, with punctuality and attention towards both the patient and his relatives

But easily accessible and with ample space to park.
In need of gastro and endoscopy I have to congratulate the staff.
Kind, attentive, helpful and extremely patient as it is an elderly person.
Very thorough in giving all the necessary advice.
THANK YOU!

Given that for what are my limited experiences as ...

Given that for what are my limited experiences as a user or relative of users, the Piedmontese public health system seems to me on average to be of an excellent level, the Pinerolo Hospital, of which I was recently an involuntary guest, struck me for its professionalism, efficiency, courtesy and humanity of the structure as a whole and of the entire staff, from doctors (obviously) to nurses but also to administrative clerks.
Happened by chance (injury) on a public holiday, I was quickly examined and was given a clear diagnosis, with the necessary prognostic and therapeutic indications and the prospect of hospitalization alternatives (thanks to Dr. Ronco and to the entire team of emergency room).
Admitted to the urgent surgery department in traction, I was operated on in the shortest time technically possible and taking into account other more serious emergencies in the meantime presented in the hospital.
Thanks to Dr. Fornero (I hope not to have crippled the name) and to the whole team of the operating room, with a particular thanks to the Anesthesiologist (whose name I do not know) professional, human and young and pretty (which doesn't hurt ) who performed an operation perhaps more complex than expected (reduction of a displaced fracture in at least three pieces of the tibia near the ankle joint and fixation with a titanium plate). I am still recovering but, as far as I can judge at the moment, the operation went well and I am confident that the final outcome is also positive (knowing full well that unpredictable factors can affect the same, first of all the patient's behavior and the his relatives).
Transferred to the pre-discharge surgery department, I was discharged on the fifth day.
Regardless of the professionalism of the doctors who treated me, I want to emphasize the competence, availability, courtesy and humanity of the Nurses and Nurses of the two wards I passed through, behaviors that I have observed not only towards me but also with Roommates , some of whom are very elderly and suffering.
The structure, recently built or restored, is functional and pleasant; the twin bedded rooms are large and each equipped with a nice bathroom.
The structure and the individual rooms are kept in a good state of cleanliness.
Finally, the food is far too abundant and, in relation to hospital meals (I tried to ask for caviar and lobster accompanied by champagne, but they told me they had just finished) varied and of good quality; the choice between 3/5 first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts is given.
As anticipated, the Administrative staff was also helpful and very courteous, which, in my opinion, is a sign of a well-organized structure in which a lot of attention was paid to courtesy towards users and taking charge of their problems.
In conclusion, thanks again to everyone who helped me. The Pinerolo Hospital (I think about 300 beds) confirms the saying that "small (it can also be) is beautiful".
