The available amenities are lacking compared to similarly priced and located hotels while definitely showing that the hotel is far from young. The one thing that makes up for this is that some of the staff are amazing and go out of their way for you. But unfortunately there are others who take away from that.

Had an amazing time staying here celebrating my wife's 40th birthday. The hotel staff was amazing, the room incredible! They even surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake, champagne and chocolate strawberries!! It was perfect and we will most definitely be coming back and recommending the Omni to anyone who asks.

Attended an all day conference. The food was good and has a nice variety of unique treats to accompany the coffee. The chairs however were not so nice. As with any hotel conference chairs, they are not meant for long term sitting. The road construction in the area makes it very difficult to get to/from the hotel conveniently. The parking garage had enough room even with it being so small.

Decent hotel, and convenient to the area I was visiting. The amenities are a bit dated (old fixtures, no USB ports for charging devices, 80's tiling). For the price, I would just as soon have stayed someplace else. The staff was nice, however, and there is a hotel bar and restaurant.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff was very helpful. The event was organized very well. The catered food was delicious. The hotel rooms were very nice and clean. Elevators were fast and front desk was easy to contact and respond. 10/10.

A little dated. The rooms are overpriced for the area. You can stay in as good or better rooms for cheaper in the area but the service is great and overall it s a nice hotel. Lots of great amenities and again the staff is top notch. The shuttle services are a huge plus as well when traveling locally to restaurants and offices.

Stayed here for anniversary and did the gondola boat rides on lake carolyn. We had a great trip. Omni was extremely helpful and professional. Excellent customer satisfaction. Definitely recommend it.

The Omni Mandalay is a gem. Arrival was easy, with super close, complimentary self-parking. Valet is also available. The Guest Services team is great! It's funny what a difference the small gestures make, like the warm welcome of the doorman consistently holding the door open and saying hello. The Front Desk agents are thoughtful and personable. Taylor impressed us beyond words. The lobby decor feels comfortable and elevated. Our suite was spacious, and we had a nice view from the Juliet-style balcony. The bed was fine, and we slept well. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent. We ordered room service and also dined at Trevi's. The breakfast options at Trevi's we're fantastic, and the service was top-notch. Even with a busy checkout time, the staff kept on top of things and truly conveyed a spirit of hospitality.

The view of the canal is amazing, unfortunately the room we had was a two or one star room. The bathroom had toilet paper holder literally hanging off the wall which couldn t hold the toilet paper and I had to say something twice to the front desk which came on the second day to look at it and super glued it to the wall which didn t work. The maintenance person was very nice and gave us a great restaurant ideas. The wallpaper was literally hanging off the bathroom wall and I won t even talk about the horrible condition of the bathrooms on the LL level ( I wish I could upload pictures).

On the 2nd day I had to call housekeeping and ask them to clean the room! I m not sure if they forgot or what and when they cleaned it they only left two face towels even though three people were registered for the room, didn t change or leave linens for the rollaway and no restock of toilet paper.

The pool was packed which was nice but not enough chairs or staff to help at the outside bar area. I usually stay at the Omni in Chicago and never had any issues in fact the service and hotel are impeccable. However, my Omni days are over. I had told everyone I was with how great the hotel was and we had so many problems that I was embarrassed.

Was not there as a guest. I attended for a conference but did not stay overnight. Hotel not the best when it comes to coffee shop/refreshments. One person working in small area holds things up. Parking not great either

Overall, a nice hotel. Located in a quiet area of Irving and situated next to a lake with a promenade. I stayed in one of their suites for 3 nights; it was spacious and had a balcony, albeit very small. The room decor and furnishings are outdated but tolerable. Very clean property. The lobby was inviting. Check in/out was routine. Nice TVs in the room with decent channel selection. The bed was quite comfortable. It was quiet when I stayed there, except for the usual idiots who let their room door slam shut at 11 p.m.; that s not the hotel s fault. If you want a small refrigerator for the room you have to request it. These days, refrigerators should be standard in every hotel room. Bathroom is basic. In addition to a regular toilet, which is too low, there was an old, non-functional bidget that looked like it hadn t been used in years...they really should remove it. Shower is average. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient, which to me is very important. Friendly and helpful staff. The Trevi Restaurant had a terrific breakfast buffet, which I thought was reasonably priced for the selection of food. I didn t use the spa, pool, or fitness center, so I can t comment on those amenities. I thought parking was great. The garage is close to the entrance of the hotel and I never had a problem finding a parking space. There is self park and valet options. Quick access to major roads from the hotel. DFW is about 15 minutes away, and there are plenty of food and shopping options around the area within 10 or so minutes. I like that their check out time is 12 noon vs. the usual 11 a.m. There s a decent Japanese restaurant right around the corner, and Subz N Stuff across the street is awesome! I do think they need to work on updating room decor and furnishings, but I d definitely stay at the Omni Mandalay again.

Let me start by saying Trevi's was amazing! Breakfast buffet , lunch buffet was amazing and reasonable prices. Staff very friendly. The rooms were nice with a great view but we had issues with both rooms, the first room the sink could not be fixed. (Sink backed up with blank/ Brown water) we needed to get ready for our dinner, our reservations were at another location, we got ready with no sink. We returned after dinner and were left a note saying we could move rooms. Our new room was nice same great view. This room had a bidet, excited for that but, problem was that it didn't work. We were pretty much feeling like there were some serious plumbing issues at this point. Lots of gurgling noises when showering. We were not offered any $ off our bill, or any other compensation. I was very disappointed.

First time here. This is a beautiful hotel to stay in. I had a great view of the water and all the city lights in the distance. The bed and pillows are the best, wanted to take them with me. Located in a great area with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room service food is excellent. The hotel staff is very customer service oriented. If you're going to this area, this hotel is the place to stay!

I stayed in a suite here recently and I will not be back. The furniture was extremely old and had stains. It smelled musty and the air did not blow very cold. The breakfast was good but other than that there are far better hotels at a cheaper price in the area. I stayed at the Texican Court right after my stay here and the Texican Court, for a cheaper price, blew this hotel out of the water.

We are staying here for a s hool competition but everything costs extra. Our room had only one bed for 3 people, the internet costs $9.95 per day, and there is no free breakfasts, microwave, or refrigerator.

I was there for a work Christmas party. Parking was a nightmare and locating the restaurant after parking was just as much of a nightmare. The whole place was WAY too formal for me. If you're looking for a super formal location where common sense means nothing, this is your place. If you're just a regular person, steer clear.

Not exactly what we expected. My husband decided to surprise me with a birthday staycation. He booked the suite and paid upfront for what he thought was a fancy brunch. The service was fantastic, but the facility itself was mediocre. We were greeted warmly by the front desk upon check in. All interaction with the staff was fantastic, but that s about it.

We stayed on a 10th floor suite. To be completely honest, it surprised us that the room was so dated looking. The room was VERY worn; wallpaper was peeling on almost every wall, stains on the upholstered chairs, popcorn ceilings, the mini-fridge appeared to be from the 1980s and required a key (which we received during check-in), the view was really the only desirable part about the room. The mini-fridge we acquired the key to was stocked full of warm (supposed to be cold) beverages. We couldn t even put our wine in there had the fridge been working anyhow. Dust was accumulating on said popcorn ceiling right near the a/c vents, the what we think was a bidet didn t work, the tub was a standard run-of-the-mill tub that was very worn, shower water pressure was poor, basically I was not seeing anything upscale about the suite we stayed in and felt like staying home would have been more luxurious.

I was willing to overlook the accommodations and just enjoy it for what it was, but then night came and the a/c we set to mid 60s temp earlier in the day never actually reached the target temperature. The room was humid and probably never actually got down below 74 degrees. This made for a very uncomfortable sleep. Again, I brushed this off and figured the brunch the next morning would make up for this mediocre room and poor sleep.

The breakfast...it was a slightly better than La Quinta warm breakfast. My husband was under the impression this was going to be a fancy brunch considering the reviews for the restaurant during lunch/dinner times were fabulous . The most impressive part of this breakfast was the coffee and sausage. That s about it. Don t walk in there at breakfast in your nicest attire and expect a fancy-pants breakfast because it is NOT that even though the pricing suggests that ($22/person).

Overall, not impressed. What we thought would be a fancy, special staycation birthday getaway really was a downgraded version of home with a slightly better than average free continental breakfast at your La Quinta or Holiday Inn.

I stepped into the back hallway of this hotel and it felt like I had entered a mental asylum from the 1980s. An incredible sense of fear and weary faces. Very narrow hallways, grown people running around in circles without destination and the elevator functioning at a hot 12% of snail speed. Felt like a dozen handyman were pulling us up from an oxidated chain. As a guest the marvel floors are the only good sight about this location, otherwise it felt like an odd museum that you want out in a heartbeat. I rather spend a day in court or at the DMV all day then to peek into the backbone of this hotel

We stayed in the king room and it was great. The location is wonderful and the view of the las colinas "river walk" was great! The facility was great and the staff was very helpful! We really enjoyed knowing and using the complementary shuttle service, it was like having your very own free uber (they take tips of course). Overall it was far enough away from the crazyness of Dallas traffic, lights, and sounds, but close enough to get to all the main attractions easily. All the amenities were great. Sadly there is no free breakfast, even texas shaped waffles, but they do have free apples and champagne in the main lobby during regular business hours.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I've had nothing but ISSUES! This hotel will not let you unload your baggage at the entrance, the bathroom was flooded this morning when I woke up, they don't have basic CBS, and they refuse to give me the receipt, because they "lost" the tax exempt form. I've called multiple times attempting to get assistance, but I either get put on hold or they hang up on me!! Horrible service!!!!

Staff was attentive to the needs of my group And went out of there way to accommodate. They did tell me that the incidental deposit was only a hold but they deducted from my checking account of the second day of the week long stay. MBar was awesome.

I had a wonderful stay. It's always refreshing to not be nickel and dimed while traveling. The free parking and wifi was appreciated. They went the extra mile delivering free coffee to my room in the morning. They even gave my daughter a coloring book. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have fantastic views. The Christmas decorations were well done. My matress was broken and sagged on one side but overall was fine.

This is my first choice for hotels in the Las Colinas area and I prefer it's location to the Four Seasons.
