Located very near eateries and 26 minutes to downtown Dallas. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Amazing view of the west. Check in was easy and quick. I wasn't aware of the incidencals charge prior to arrival. Each night costs $50. I won't be using any but it would have been nice to know. The scent when you walk into the entrance is not exactly pleasant. Smells of cheap men's cologne.

This property is well maintained. The service is well executed. They have good values. Book the bed and breakfast rate and enjoy the wonderful breakfast buffet at the restaurant on location. Enjoy they stay.

I missed my weekend because of that old spring mattress and so much back pain. I talked to reception about it and they just said they could either apologize or turn the mattress over. 08/24 #1517 that's my middle name.

Beautiful place, service is spectacular, they really understand that the client/customer comes first. I always have a great stay and recommend the Omni Mandalay to anyone. P.lus, it's just right down the street from a superb italian restaurant.

We stayed at the Omni Mandalay for 3 nights and overall the stay was fantastic. We ended up receiving a sweet surprise from the Concierge right when we walked into our room that was well appreciated. The bed was comfy, views were great and the service overall was very good. The only complaint I have was that we couldn't get hot water in the bathroom (and after a long day of traveling it was very important.) Finally on our last night we were moved to a higher floor with working hot water - I just wish they would've done it sooner as we called 4 times and they knew what the problem was. Overall we would definitely consider staying here the next time we're in Dallas.

I am sad to report that my first stay at the Omni was not great. First, the lamp on my nightstand table had a burned out bulb, meaning the most useful lamp in the room was non-functional for me. Second, I was amazed (and left in a lurch) by discovering the room had no USB outlets for connecting common cords like cell phone chargers. Nearly every hotel I've stayed at for years has some USB connection option, if only in the bedside radio (but not at the Omni). Third, the breakfast buffet was very disappointing. At the time of this review, the buffet was twenty-two bucks, plus tax/tip. In this price range, it should have been amazing. Sadly, the scrambled eggs were runny, the meat options looked like they had been sitting (only 3 sausage patties in the pan), and the service was so slow I almost missed a meeting. Finally, I was charged for a seven-plus dollar bottled water to my room, that supposedly came from the in-room mini bar. I never, ever use anything from a mini bar as a rule, and did not at the Omni, either. Fortunately, the front desk attendant removed that charge with a minimum of pushback, but many guests likely do not catch (or maybe don't report) these little nuisances. Leaving me to believe this is more of a revenue effort than oversight. Any one of these items would likely be easy for me to forgive. All together, it leaves me unenthusiastic about booking here in the future. Efforts need to be made to address these types of items, that frequent travelers like myself have come to expect at hundred-dollar-a-night hotels. Which means they should never be an issue for rooms costing twice as much. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay at Omni Mandalay. Beautifully appointed rooms, friendliest doorman and staff we have ever seen. Beautiful, generous lobby to comfortably enjoy coffee or gathering with family and friends. Love this hotel; Absolutely great experience. Our new favorite Dallas Hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

I did not stay at the hotel overnight but was there for a company Christmas party. The food was excellent, as always, and the bar service was not stingy. We have stayed at this location in the past and have always loved our experience here. I highly recommend the Omni, the Mandalay in particular. The very much treat the guest like guests and not an intrusion their time spent earning a check.

Beautiful standard king room, was able to walk out on to the canal and go for a run first thing in the morning, pool was clean and offers pool side service. The gym was okay, the only negative. Bartenders were great, very attentive.

Made a wonderful 20th anniversary for me and my wife. Will stay there again. The service was great from arrival to check out. Located in a beautiful area and is convenient to anything in Dallas and Fort Worth.

Stayed here for 2 days on conference. The rooms were clean but it stunk like someone had used the bathroom in the next room and no matter what I did to mask the smell. Could not mask it with cologne or deodorant sprays.

Not sure if it was the AC or something else. But we stayed on the 7th floor overlooking the water

Very nice staff and very nice hotel overall. I appreciated the free parking and very easy late check-out.

The M bar is average at best. The room we were in had a bidet (thank you!) But it was disconnected and inoperable (booooo!).

This property is a little older and it shows in some places but overall we were very pleased.

great comfortable hotel. The room was really big and the view really nice. It is right in the middle of everything. I went on a trip to Dallas, Arlington, FtWorth and surroundings. Great 6 days in Dallas. Hope to come back soon.

Will be 5 when the rooms are redone. New pool and outdoor deck is great! New public space is very nice. Bar in lobby is busy. Hidden gem in Dallas for staycations. Fire pits for s'moors as well!

Met a relative for dinner at Trevi, the Italian restaurant downstairs. It was pricy (most of the menu is at least $20 a plate), but well worth it. Some of the best pasta I've ever had. The staff was extremely courteous as well.

Booked this hotel through Priceline and discovered they had charged my credit card (2 different times) on top of my payment to Priceline. Headache to get fixed!!!!! I had to call the hotel 3 different times, only to be put on hold, hung up on, and never called back. Never even an apology for the mistake. This happened in December of 2017. I just opened this months credit card bill and see they have charged it AGAIN and we have not returned since December. Really sad, we like the hotel, location and comfort, but will never return or recommend to anyone.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The ac was very quite which was nice. The staff was friendly and very hospitable. The one thing that was annoying is that they advertise a fridge in the room, however it's a super old one from the 80s,and it's stocked full of beer wine and such. There was no room for a bottle of water or anything. They do offer 2 bottles in the room but they are an insane $6 a bottle. They also do not have any vending machines on property to buy any water.. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel with very easy parking. Have stayed 2 times now and both times were enjoyable. View was very nice of the lake. Close enough to many restaurants for walking. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Pool was under renovation during the 2nd stay, but look forward to seeing it complete

Loved our stay at the hotel. We had a king room that was spacious. We came in for our anniversary and requested a nice view. The view was beautiful. The room was clean and they give you wrapped and bagged items to avoid contamination like the remotes and coffee. Will be back next year!

20 minutes equals over 2 hours... still not in a room. Not to mention having a manager make up laws instead of offering a solution until 15 minutes later. I will not be bringing any of the many clients I work for here ever. You lost out on many high end clients
