Nice and clean room. Rest of the hotel has good amenities. Price was reasonable.
Nice and clean room. Rest of the hotel has good amenities. Price was reasonable.
Everyone has been very helpful with service from our stay, to directions as to how to get to medical assistance for our child, to vallet parking.
Beautiful hotel; staff are professional and friendly; bathroom sink of hotel room did not work; sink folled with water; I called front desk to fix it. Maintenance responded in a timely manner and apologized for the inconvenience. Rooms are very comfortable.
Outdoor pool great and Jacuzzi available !
On the menu features a Buffet Lunch.
When we arrived there we got told, it is no Buffet, just regular a la carte "because it is slow today". Not an excuse for me. It's should be communicated on the web page if any changes.
Service mentality E-.
My wife and I spent our 9th anniversary here. We booked our stay here on priceline. When we went to check in priceline didnt book our suite. When I showed tbe staff our itinerary with our confirmation number, the front desk manager honored the reservation. The suite was great, the beds were very nice. Trevias restaurant was really good. The M Bar has strong expensive drinks. The only issues we had were that there were no public microwaves to use. The staff will bring one to your room, but when you have one dish to warm up its not really worth the effort. The other issue we had was with the T.V. The hotel has about 15 channels and you can pay for wifi for additional channels for Hulu or netflix. But you have to install those on your phone for a cost. Maybe we didnt understand how it worked. Other then those minor issues the staff are very helpful and the rooms and views to the canal were beautiful. We will be coming back..
This is my second time at this location and it is falling apart. I was here as part of a conference and I found the catering and engineering services to be below average. The locations age is showing for sure.
Attended an event there, hotel was very clean and attentive
Absolutely beautiful hotel.. Very friendly and attentive staff.
The Omni was great. The rooms were clean and full of nice and unusual amenities.
Hotel is very clean, rooms are a little outdated, but overall facility is nice.
I really enjoy my stay at your hotel. I can even tell I'm not at home. It is far and above all the hotels I have every stayed at.
Wow very beautiful hotel and decorations. The view on the patios are nice. Nice roomy apartment like suites.
We have never stayed at Omni Hotel before and we enjoyed our stay.
Looks awesome, but we were supposed to be going to the Park West Omni, about 10mins away.
We come to Atlanta every 4 months for a wonderful 3 night getaway. This is our hotel of choice. Beautiful large rooms and spectacular views of the skylines of Dallas or Fort Worth. A gracious staff is there to make your stay a memorable experience.
Just ok.... nice room service was good. BUT do not make a phone call from the phone located next to the toilet we are Texas residents and we called our cell phone to locate it just to be charged $22! BUT they did refund us just a heads up! Have to pay $10 for wifi. Food very expensive... VERY and parking is a pain in the ya know what..... overall nice stay but just very expensive the bar down stairs $12 for a bloodymary it was good but not to die for, not to mention the bartender was drinking all left overs from drinks she had made #classy
We were visiting friends staying at the hotel. Staff, as with our prior Omni experiences, was excellent - attentiveand courteous. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The grounds were nice with good amenities.
We wanted to do a quick family getaway before school starts on Tuesday. Our incredible package was an awesome deal and included valet, pizzas, drinks, in room movie and breakfast at Trevi's. We lounged by the pool and enjoyed the live music, poolside and in the lobby. The complimentary cookies and water at bedtime were a treat, and we weren't even charged for chips and drinks purchased at the pool. It was a restful, lovely weekend and customer service was top notch. We love it here, and we will be back!!!
I mixed up my hotels and first reviewed wrong. I am so sorry about that. With that said, I did enjoy my stay in Irving at this hotel. It was friendly service and very nice rooms
This upscale high-rise hotel on Lake Carolyn is 1.1 miles from the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas and 10 miles from downtown Dallas.
Traditional, refined rooms with lake and city views feature flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi (fee) and coffeemakers. Suites add separate living areas, as well as balconies, wet bars and/or fireplaces. Room service is available.
Amenities include an upscale Italian steakhouse and a lounge/bar, plus a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, a 24-hour fitness center and a spa. The hotel also has a business center and 31,000 sq ft of event space.
This Omni is in a prime location in Las Colinas and offers many amenities. We had a great experience from the time we made special requests during reservations until we left. Chris made sure we had a great room with an awesome view of Dallas skyline and Lake Carolyn. John in Concierge made sure our 22nd Anniversary was one to remember. He sent up strawberries, cookies, and drinks for my husband and I and my kids. Lance in the Trevis restaurant made sure our "evening out" was unforgettable. He placed flowers on the table, brought me a rose, and delivered impeccable service. We will definitely come back to this Omni.
I don't travel often but I usually compare everything to my stay at the Venetian in Las Vegas. In regards to that, I found my stay at Omni Mandalay Hotel very pleasing. The customer service and professionalism of the staff was exceptional. From the doormen to the Room service, there was nothing but smiles and an eagerness to please.
The lobby was especially warm and inviting with festive decorations accenting large gathering areas.
The bathrooms are clean with marble floor but a bit too dark in places. The shower was bit dated and plain but it functioned as expected. The best part was the amount of towels they provided. There were at least 3 big towels, 3 hand towels, and 4 other assorted towels.
They provided a blow dryer, iron, ironing board, robes, shampoo, body lotion, hand soap, and bar soap. There's snack options along with bottled water on the desk when you come in. They also provide a safe for your valuables.
There was ample space in the King Suite. My room had two televisions, an office desk, a dining table, and a small private balcony with a view overlooking a body of water I didn't get a chance to research or lounge around due to the current temperature and the brevity of my stay.
The location of the hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants but I advise renting a car so you drive while there. There's several big shopping centers with a large variety of restaurants off MacArthur Blvd.
They do have room service available even for overnight hours. The menu was limited, however, I did not ask if they would accommodate custom orders.
The parking situation was nice as I didn't have to worry about looking for an open space in their covered parking garage.
I will definitely be returning to the Omni Mandalay again in the future as I enjoyed my stay. It has been my best hotel experience in the Las Colinas / Irving area so far. I feel a one-night stay is not enough time warrant a score but for now, I'll give the Omni Mandalay Hotel a 4.25 out of 5.
Everything was horrible. The lobby smelled like rotten eggs and dirty diapers. The hallways were like dungeons. The shower had black stains all over the tile. The champagne we ordered ahead of time was sitting in room temperature water despite notifying them of our late check in time. The wrap around patio is more like a fenced ledge. The omelet we ordered in the morning came with a complimentary hair not on top, but rather baked inside. Only good thing is the proximity to the airport. But please stay somewhere else.
Beautiful indoor garden makes such a fragrant welcome. Rooms were well maintained and staff was friendly and helpful. Refrigerator is locked but you can ask for a key.
They let us hang out to greet our beloved Packers in town to play the Cowboys.
Hospitality was HORRIBLE! My family and I had to emergency evacuate our apartments and we were placed in what s to be a expected high over the top friendly hotel. When we walked in the first person at front desk was nice but said he was unable to assist due to them not ever receiving our reservation. Then I contacted my apartment manager and she sent all the proof, I showed it to another front desk agent and was advised they were working on the issue but I d have to wait and they would come get me once they were ready. I then waited, not to mention I have a 8 month old and 8 year old with me that were super annoyed, fussy, and hungry. It took me a 3rd time to go up there and speak to a different front desk person and told them that when they felt ready to give me my room to call me; otherwise, I would have to go elsewhere to have my little ones calm down and relax. She immediately gave me my room keys. This was such a horrible experience. Yes, my room was provided by my apartment complex due to an unfortunate situation in our building. No one should have to go through more stress of being taken out of their home and placed in a hotel temporarily. I felt I was being treated different than all the other guest! Only because the hotel wasn t paid by me but my apartment complex . Only because you re Omni and located in Las Colinas, doesn t mean you treat ppl like trash if they didn t pay for the room! I am just another guest just like any other guest that is staying in this hotel and shouldn t had been treated different, and agents should ve been much more helpful in a very sensitive time instead of making you feel uncomfortable and not helped.
Attended a Weekend to Remember Marriage Conferece here for the first time and it was outstanding!!! So much so that I was in tears because I didn't want them to leave. Such a wealth of information for couples of any age or years of marriage. It was exactly what my husband and I need to reconcile our marriage. A great recommendation from some dear Christian friends.
Can't wait for their return next year. It was a life changing experience.
Lovely, nice pool, dont like their policy of prepaid incidentals
Loved this place my husband and I decided to spend the day for his bday. Found our new tradition.
Super staff! Everyone was helpful and you attentive to your needs. Went there for a conference and stayed on a couple days extra. Enjoyed the pool and Friday the set up a poolside bar where you can order food and drink if you like.
The decor is a little dated but the people make the difference to me. I'll take dated decor and great service over modern and mediocre service anyday.
Great experience all around. Thank you for being attentive without being overwhelming.
It was a very nice stay, great Italian restaurant below and just an overall wonderful experience. We will be back
One of our favorite hotels. Beautiful and relaxing.
Friendly staff, rooms with great views, room service taste as good as the restaurant, they really take great care of their guests
A special place with great hospitality, fine amenities and a classic feeling of quality. A great place for a meeting. The quality of the catered food is honestly the best.
The lobby was exceptionally exquisite. Flowers and gold accents aplenty, against wood grain walls. A classy professional fellow checked us into a high up suite on the corner facing the city. The elevators were speedy and quiet and the suite itself was gorgeous. The balcony overlooking DFW was pure bliss. Big tv's with Hulu and Netflix were a plus the bathroom was just as nice. You just have to be there. I hated to leave.
Very near hotel with plenty to do around the premises. There is a fabulous Latin American restaurant down the road called Gloria's. The beds will enjoy you one of the best rests you have had!
Excellent breakfast and lunch. Lovely view and beautiful rooms.
Wonderful stay! Special touches and services everywhere you look. Enjoyed my welcome chocolate birthday cake, the piano music at night, and walking along the canal.
Omni Mandalay is a special experience. The comfort and luxury welcome you from the entrance to the pillow. The in-room experience is spacious, comfortable, and includes every necessity.
First time in the hotel,,,,was a good time, really enjoyed the stay,,
Always wonderful service, great facilities, and amenities
The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and kind in regards to all of our wedding needs!
I enjoyed my stay at the Mandalay. Infact one associate in guest concierge her name is Allie made it even more wonderful. Please when you go to Mandalay please see Allie. She is the best Omni ambassador. She is very kind and amazing, Thank you Allie.
Very friendly service. Nice, spacious, clean rooms.
Staying here has been one of the most pleasurable times I have had staying in hotels. The staff is very accommodating. I will be staying here most likely every time I come to Dallas from now on.
Amazing experience this is definitely my favorite Omni property in the DFW area. Wonderful views, wonderful rooms, quality of service and he MBar staff and bartenders made me the most amazing drink. I will continue to have this as my number 1 hotel in the DFW area.
Very clean and well kept even. But they do not have much of store to get items you may have forgotten. In addition to it being a small store it must close early like before 6pm
Awesome chill location. I will be back with the kids next time
I love staying here when I'm in town for work. The rooms are big, they have an awesome outdoor walking/running path around the pond and you get a daily complimentary beverage that can be delivered to the room or claimed at the bar or cafe. If delivered they always go all out, during my last visit I ordered hot tea and they also included milk and honey and a little muffin. Their TVs have Chromecast which is awesome! They also have a free shuttle that'll take you anywhere within 3 miles and have really developed more local eateries. But if eating on site their room service is delicious and the bar has a few menu items, plus their breakfast buffet is yummy too!
Went there to attend a professional dinner event for an organization and the overall look and feel of the place felt exceptional.
Stayed in a suite on 21st floor. Rooms are old and simple. When getting out of elevator on that floor the carpet was lifted and tripped couple of times. staff was not friendly at all. Was never acknowledged, guess you have to look rich in order for them to help you. NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID FOR. Will not be coming to this hotel again.
Fantastic hotel, the views are amazing - especially when you re on a higher floor.
Great experience at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel and room was clean and presentable. Parking was easy and accessible, with no extra charge.
Had a great view of the lake. Everything was really overpriced. Wifi is not free, fridge is a bar, so you can't put your own things in it. No microwave either.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner, nice enough but feels painfully dated and could use a refresh badly
This review is long overdue.
My experience has been immaculate since the first time I stayed at the Mandalay. Every time I stay here the service and care I receive exceed my expectations. Two young men named Martin always push my stay over the top with the care and service they provide, they are part of the reason that I will always with choose the Mandalay.
Great experience, nice rooms great price, friendly people!
My wife and I finally got the opportunity for a brief weekend getaway .The staff at the Omni went above and beyond to try to make it special. Great experience!
I love this hotel. It's in a quaint location and is a great place for a get away even if you live nearby I recommend this place to relax and take some time for yourself. The staff is incredible and provides some of the best customer service with an attention to detail that is amazing.
Great stay! Beautiful hotel. Room was spacious, nice and clean. Had a great view of the water. Only drawback was that the ice machines were not working on all floors. Would stay there again. Shuttle was great, didn't have to use our vehicle at all.
Great position. Staff really nice. Clean room even if a little bit small. No noises from the street. I should come back.
I had my bachelorette sleep over here on Saturday. Everything was good until we received a noise complaint which was confusing because we were sitting down playing uno..no loud music no loud TV at all. But the head of security was so nice he opened up the conference room where we could continue with the party! He was very accomadating! Thank you Thank you! I can't remember his name lol but he was very nice to me & my guests!!! Will book again for our honeymoon
Never go. Terrible. Over priced and grossly undeliver and lie.
Excellent food at Trevi's and outdoor seating this time of year was perfect.
Nice hotel, fantastic value. It s a true 4 star on the hotel scale so that s what it gets for this reveiw. feeling a little dated but I think that s the brand. Will stay here again for sure!
Nice, comfy bed. Friendly staff. Great views of the city. Our room exceeded our expectations!
