Tradition de France Review

We bought our dining room furniture here 20 years ago. Recently, I sold it because I'm downsizing. I was truly surprised at how much value it retained. I guess there's some truth to the old adage: "Quality doesn't cost- it pays.'"

Beautiful furniture. Bought two tables here and am very happy. Very well made. Pleasant store, great buying experience.

I came in off the street into this white store on King Street when the rain was just pouring down. I honestly had no real need for anything except a dry place. But as soon as I walked in I completely forgot about the rain and started to talk with a gentleman about the furniture and paintings in the store. The man was FANTASTIC!. Never once making me feel unwelcome. He even gave me a towel to dry off. As I walked around I noticed the bronze statues of birds, frogs, children, and DOGS! I immediately fell in love with one dog in particular... I just had to have him. Unfortunately, I thought since I live far away it was impossible. But the gentleman got on his phone a made arrangements to get him to me in the least pricey way possible. Now I have my dog at home and couldn't be happier for the man's kindness and helpfulness. And that as not even the main store! From that one crummy night on I will now make it a point to go back every time I visit Alexandria.

I purchased a Tiger Burl Side table from them. The Staff was Polite and when I said I was not sure if it would work the young man offered to make sure by bringing it to my home and setting up the TV room with the new Side Table. It was not an expensive side table. But they still treated me as a VIP. Great Service and Excellent Furniture. My next buy is going to be the bookshelf and oil painting. This store has EVERYTHING and I want it all. I highly recommend checking it out.

I see what everyone means. I don't ever leave a review or complaint unless they have done something horribly wrong. But this time I have to write some kind words about a young man in the new store location. I was on the hunt for a lamp and saw a few in his front window. When I went in I was amazed I never been in this store before. The young salesman greeted politely and helped me to the end. I am not exaggerating when I say he spent over an hour with me. Putting lamps side by side. Going through wattage limits, color selection and the list goes on. Respectful, professional and patient. I very much enjoyed my buying experience at Tradition De France. Thank you.

Working with Raphael was so easy, and he went above and beyond to accommodate my (admittedly inconvenient) delivery requests. The furniture is beautiful and selected with Old Town residents in mind. In other words, the furniture is particularly fitting for older homes with non-standard and/or smaller dimensions. I will definitely be buying from this place in the future!

Unique French gifts. Purchased a decorative hot air balloon that I've received many compliments.

Our family recently moved to a new house leading us to search more than a dozen furniture stores before finding our way to Tradition de France. Now, Tradition de France is our go-to-store for furnishings and there is simply nothing like it in the area!
Not only is the furniture beautiful, but the quality of craftsmanship and the selection of exquisite woods and fine fabrics is apparent in all of the pieces that we have seen and purchased.
The icing on the cake (or croissant) is the incredibly friendly and helpful service provided by Kevin and Raphael. We feel as though Kevin genuinely cares about our house and our family's happiness and his advice and attention to our needs has been unprecedented.
Our purchases from Tradition de France have brought such a warmth and elegance to our home that we cherish daily.
