My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Omni Mandalay Las Colinas for a baseball tournament. Everything about our stay was enjoyable. The rates were reasonable for the service provided. The room was perfect and we were able to get rested on a hectic baseball weekend. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Only went for conference. It has great rooms for the conference. The breakfast was fancy but did not have a lot of choices, only pastries, bagels and muffins. The temperature was nice. We could here the speaker from the next room just a little bit and after the conference leader mentioned it nothing seemed to be done about it. Overall it was okay

Great service by the staff, they handled the tornado warning well, however my last I woke and my face had large 2 spider bites on it, the front desk staff acted like it was nothing and it wasn't addressed. luckily its cleared up with no problems.

The only thing worse than the accommodations is the service. Besides the receptionist wanting to argue with me about my call earlier in the day, requesting a high floor, on both nights staff was using the staircase immediately outside my room beginning at 4:00 AM; and, slamming the door multiple times in the process.

Friendly staff and clean, nice rooms. Lots of small "nice touches." The food and bar were expensive for what it was, but there are quite a few options within walking distance (nearby craft beer bar was awesome). Elevator area in lobby smelled like diapers, but that was not a major issue to me. Would recommend staying here, got a king room for $125 on Priceline. Comfy bed, quiet, and great room temperature control.

very nice hotel , they are remodeling and some areas are not available. a great buffet with the omelet chef who has worked there for over 30 years, great omelets !!!! great buffet and restaurant staff !!! looks like the clean up crew missed this in the main lobby not a good sight for a 5 star hotel
also called for a limo ride and the phone rang over ten times before I finally hung up and took an uber,
and the manager Kennyaraz Zephyr totally took took care of this she rocks ...
the bar staff is outstanding, Monica remembers what you're drinking and , is vey engaging with the customers.. a 5 star experience......

Very clean rooms , great customer service, lots of wonderful amenities and very comfortable beds. Only thing that I did not like was the toilets and bath tub. The toilet is extremely low to the ground , since I am 6ft it was so awkward to sit on. The tub is a regular bathtub you find in your house, small and awkward. Overall still a wonderful place to stay at.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing service. We were upgraded to a suite upon check in which was a very nice surprise. Pool was nice and service there was very good. Our suite was very spacious and overlooked the lake. Beds were comfortable.

Rude front desk clerk. Rude manager. I did not even waste my time. I'd give them 0 stars if it were possible.
I drove up from Houston to return home ahead of the bad weather Hurricane Harvey was forecasted to bring and ended up picking up a stray dog hit by a car and taking her to an emergency animal hospital a few miles from this hotel. I did not get out of the vet's office until after midnight and was too wiped to make it another 70 miles home, so I called this place and was told if I wanted their best rate, I needed to look online. Given my situation and the fact it was after midnight, I asked if they would be willing to offer their best rate upon check in. They said no, they could not. Not for walk-ins- I would have to book online. I asked for the manager and spoke to Rogelio, who gave me the same answer- No- I had to go online and book. They were unable to offer the lower rate if I were to just walk in.
You'd expect employees in the hospitality industry to be the most welcoming. At Omni Mandalay, both the employees I spoke with were the least courteous, least friendly, and least helpful folks I had encountered all day. Do yourself a favor and go to the Hilton Garden Inn a few minutes up the road. When I called them, they told me to come on in- they'd grant me their internet price upon check in, no problem. You'll be welcomed in there, taken care of, and made to feel at home. Don't waste your time or money here.

For the price point and brand you would expect a great stay. False. I've literally stayed at Holiday Inn Express's that had better service, more amenities and better location. Rooms are mediocre, location is inconvenient to Dallas and Fort Worth and you have to pay for wifi and sub par coffee at a "coffee shop" that is so slow that you're coffee is cold by the time you get it. I can't get back the 48 hrs of my life wasted here. Recommend ANY hotel down the road for better service and better amenities. Checked out and relocated to Hampton Inn less than a 5 min drive away - quarter of the price and same experience with free coffee and wifi.

My deluxe king suite was very spacious comfortable even if slightly dated. I also always think there should be a small fridge in any hotel room I stay in which this did not have. The lobby and surroundings were grand and inviting. I didn't utilise many if the facilities as I popped in for a quick course but there is an outdoor heated pool, spa and fitness area. I could see from the other clientele that it is also kid-friendly. I would stay here again.

I believe downtown is the better option, I went to the one in irving, but the furniture and such was worn and dated. Now if you're into antique flashback types of settings, go for it! I couldn't get comfortable. It reminded me of Miami Vice, very 1983. Walls are thin. No fridge, or microwave, and I could hear the folks next door, or television.............I got a refund, and went elsewhere with modern fixtures and such for less. Update those rooms, spruce them up a little would be the advice I have.

Large fundraiser event. 400 people. Elaborate dresses & suits to match the theme. Temperature in the ballrooms.... 90 degrees! These people travelled from all over the USA for this event & they were dressed up VERY NICE, to come to your hotel & sweat their butts off. Wow, way to drop the ball! Nice hotel, no clue how to handle the need for air conditioning! Multiple people became nauseated because it was so hot!

Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas

Stated room was recently renovated. The room I was in did not seem redone. If it was, it was very poor work. Paint and chips at the bottom of doors. A square was cut out of the bathroom wall then just "placed back in" still exposing the damage. Some of the wallpaper was peeling slightly. The paint around the boarder was scuffed up. Light switches/plugs were way outdated. A/C would make a quick modern level rattle noise as it came on and off sometimes. It really did feel like the room was a 2 star hotel from the bed, appearance to overall room/bathroom. Only decent thing about the room was the view. Other than That it felt like I could stay at an $80 hotel and get the same "room atmosphere". The breakfast buffet tasted like a lower star hotel unfortunately. I've stayed at some 4 star hotels (as this one claims to be) and they were better. $200 was not worth it for a night at this "4 star" hotel unfortunately. Staff was friendly and like I mentioned the view from the room was nice - and that's why I give a 3 star rating.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. In particular, I had the privilege of speaking with John and Hannah near the check in area. Both were very professional and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with my visit.

We were forced to switch rooms after our first night due to fire alarms not working from the 10th floor and below, when I asked how many people she had to move to different rooms she said only us. I find that really hard to believe out 8 floors of room we are the only one you had to move, curious to know why we were actually moved. Once we got to our new room our door was knocked on by staff about 4 separate times with i 30 mins and would keep knocking until we answered for no reason. Our key cards stopped working on 3 separate occasions which resulted us in to having to keep going downstairs to get knew ones. Every 5-10 mins there was this loud noise that would go off right by our door like a door was being slammed shut. I think its ridiculous that a nice hotel like this does not offer free wifi and they charge you in the end when you check out for using it. One morning I was in the lobby making a phone call and a bell hop came up to me and asked me if I was ready for a uber home. I said no I am a guest and staying at this hotel, he looked super surprised and walked away. After all the inconveniences we went through they didn't offer us anything not 10% off breakfast, or for lunch, absolutely nothing. I would never stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were large and spacey. They were very clean. The staff were very pleasant. We choose this hotel everytime we go to Dallas. We forgot a few items last time and the manager was very helpful in getting them returned to us quickly.

All I can say is Thomas at the front desk was amazing. When there was a misunderstanding on my part he was more than happy to leave the front desk and accompany me to the top floor to accommodate me - and I'm the one who made the mistake! He was personable, more than gracious, and extremely knowledgable in his field, telling us of all sorts of hotel facts and trivia. In the end, I was the one who had made a complete goof of myself and yet he was more than willing to work with me along with even offering me a room switch if I wanted. If the beautiful views, luxury stay, and water within walking distance isn't enough to get you here, visit simply so you get the chance to meet and interact with Thomas. So thankful for good-hearted people who are hospitable and professional to boot. Thank you Thomas, thank you
