The lady who checked me in was condescending and laughed in my face about a mix up with a tax exempt form. The room was nice and the Wi-Fi was too expensive. The pool was nice. The lady who checked us out was incredibly nice.

Comfortable and quiet room. Nice and roomy. TV was a bit small to see from the placement. Room was clean but not perfectly clean. Normal amenities. Great location, great view. Good price. Would stay again. Worst part was parking and valet. Forced to use valet due to no avail parking. Valet at night was pathetic to say the least. Had to go to registration desk to get valet.
We stayed at the hotel from 14-21 September in connection with FSEMC. We left the hotel in the afternoon the 21th to travel to Norway. Our flight was canceled due to the flood that day. We called from the airport and asked for availability, you had one with a king size bed, but could not keep the room for 10 minutes when we were on a taxi. Instead, we had to take a suite at an expensive price. Having been a customer of the hotel for a week, this was a simple way to treat us, after all, we were going to Europe and needed sleep for 5 hours. Lousy treatment, and poor poor customer care. We will never stay at Omni Hotel again, we will also recommend all 400 attendees at FSEMC.
I booked the Omni Mandalay Irving through Hotwire and had a very nice stay. The rooms were quiet, pretty and clean, plus mine had a lake view. There is a walking path around the canals and lake, which I enjoyed.
We enjoyed our stay at the Omni Hotel while attending a conference there. The staff was very polite and made sure we taken care of. We enjoyed lunch at the hotel restaurant one day. The only negative thing was we got locked out of our room one night and had to call security for help.
My personal experience was bad. Took forever to check in. Only 1 person was working desk till she opened door and said I need help. Gave me wrong room that I paid for, they changed me to a different room which still what I didn t pay for. Even though I called ahead 3 hrs prior to being there and told me Dallas skyline view would be ready at 3 we showed up at 3:40 got there and told us that room was not available until later. Outlets and lamps by bed did not work. Had to charge phones in bathroom. Phone in room was broken, had nothin but static. First time at Omni and it was no where near the 5 stars on booking.com like we thought. Manager was trying to fix things but could not cause it was all booked up.
Great hotel, recieved a great price on a magnificent room. Front desk attendant TaVodrick is one of a kind, he made sure that everything was accurate and up to Omni standards.
Superb location, great outdoor space, great facilities, very nicely appointed rooms, super cuisine (the breakfast - amazing) if a little pricey - fantastic staff who couldn't be more friendly and helpful.
As a constant business traveller it's my favourite place to stay. Home from home!!!
Very nice hotel. It is slightly outdated, but they have maintained it very well and has nice finishes. The staff are great and the rooms were very nice and large. Peaceful place to stay outside of Dallas, but just a quick drive into town. It's also conveniently located near the airport, but still far enough away you don't hear planes all night.
Very nice. Typical luxury hotel. Wifi costs unless you're a club member and then there's only 3 devices allowed on the club account. Room could've been cleaner. Found socks from the previous guest by the TV (at least they were clean). There were some random dust bunnies and the honor bar items had a layer of dust built up, so doubt they were fresh. Pool was lovely and warm on a cool January night. Beautiful setting, right on the lake. Room, bedding and mattresses were comfy. The TV was nice but the way the picture settings were set up, the pic was too dark and other settings were not right but the adjustment options were locked out in the menu. Great views. Staff extremely helpful, professional and accommodating. I reported an issue with one of the pool lights late our first night and it was promptly fixed by the next morning.
My most favorite place to be in Las Colinas area. Staff very friendly and attentive, valet guys were so fast and nice, very clean all throughout the building. Our room was very clean and everything was in great working conditions! We will most definitely be back when in the area. This was our view from the 23rd floor
I usually go to West Park. I guess we just had bad timing on our trip because it wasnt a good experience. The floor we were on smelled like smoke. The next floor smelled like paint thinner. There was an altercation and someone dropped a drug bag by our vehicle. I understand some things were out of their control however, overall it wasnt a pleasant trip. Then housekeeping was terrible. We literally got no towels the whole time. Then the ones we asked for got taken when we went out the room. Not to mention there was mold in the shower. The receptionist did attempt the make it right. She was very nice, and is really the only reason I'm leaving 3 stars. Although hotel is beautiful I would rather stay at West Park. Peace of mind and overall customer service is a bigger value than appearances. I loved the trail behind the hotel. It was beautiful
The bar near the front desk was amazing . Good food and better service . Made the weekend awesome. The female bartender worked hard to keep everyone happy .
Great hotel! Beautiful with amazing views! Clean, friendly staff, quiet at night even on the weekends! It is a short walk from the DART station and surrounded with charming shops and dining places.
The furniture and amenities are old. They have a small convenience store that closes really early so it's not very "convenient". You pay $10/day for internet. They don't have ice machines on every floor. The bed sheets and towels have stains on them. There was a sharp pin sticking out of the mattress topper on my bed that caused several scratches on my side that bled. I told the front desk and the manager called me to offer me a BANDAID like that's going to solve everything. Won't be staying here again.
I enjoy this hotel every time I visit. I come once a year and always enjoy the customer service. The staff is professional and friendly. The prices are fair and reasonable.
On a normal basis, I would have given this location a 5 star rating, but one particular evening (9/7/18) Manager named Kevin really made the start to a supposed to be great as usual stay turned sour quickly. He was not compassionate nor hospitable. After traveling through a bad storm with frightened little children, I expected a something way different than what i received as service Friday evening. As a frequent guest here (roughly the 7th stay this year) I simply felt let down. The remainder of the stay was decent with great service from all beyond the front desk. Even the lady straightening up the room was very sweet and friendly when she saw us still in the room when she came to tend to things. The door greeters friendly and the next evening gentleman the same as well. I shared my grievances with Jesse I believe the next day, but never heard anything back as a follow-up. I choke this one up as a stale encounter, but hope my next stay...if I go back is better.
The service it great, but the valet people are not very helpful. It is easier to park your car yourself because it can take 30 min for the valet to just bring you your car.
Although the hotel seems very dated it was in very good condition it just felt like the 70s but I cannot complain the service in the amenities were good the location was also good except for the construction outside but that's not their fault
It was comfortable but I was very disappointed with customer service. It was our anniversary and I had requested 4 months in advance, then 1 week in advance and even the day of to request champagne and rose pedals and chocolate covered strawberries and they did not deliver. It was suppose to be special to walk in to that and they did not do that. They then told me that they would do it around 6 or 7 pm when I went out to eat and they never stopped by. I am very disappointed with their service. When I called to try to get answers the lady at the front desk simply said Well we have over 400 people to take care of . Not the answer I expected. I like the comfort and cleanliness but I won t be staying there more than likely.
My stay at the Omni Mandalay hotel was awesome. The staff was Incredibly professional and helpful with all of my questions. My room was larger than expected and clean. Although the iron in my room was not functioning. The issue was resolved as close to imediately. I also stayed for a meeting at the hospital and it was spectacular space, and the wait staff and bussers we're awesome.
We use this hotel for all of our Dallas packages and everyone is always impressed. Haven't heard a complaint yet. Their group sales staff is very pleasant to work with, always making things easier on our end for planning.
Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with our stay. We celebrated our 12th year anniversary and the staff made it a very special and memorable time for us. Thank you Omni Mandalay and staff.......
very nice hotel. It must be one of the older of the Omni chain. It didnt have the flash of the other Omni hotels i've stayed at. All in all i will stay again. The only problem i had was finding an ice machine. they are only on 2 floors 11 and 14 and the one on 11 didnt work .
For the most part the facility is beautiful, except for the fact that the room we were placed in must have had a water leak at some point and paint was flaking from the ceiling and our mini-fridge wasn't functioning properly. Wouldn't stay again if I was only going for the small pool or over-priced and not impressive breakfast buffet.
The suite I stayed in over the Thanksgiving holiday had a beautiful view of the city. This spacious room and all of it's accommodations couldn't have been better. I had the opportunity of dining, for breakfast, in their restaurant - it was deliciously fresh and the presentation was nicely done. I do not think I have experienced such friendly and helpful staff. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Texas and staying at the Omni Mandalay at Las Colinas!
