My husband bought 2 mattresses for 730 dollars and we are going to pay almost 1000 interest is ridiculous and they didn't tell my husband all the information when they called him. I had recommended this company to my friends but now I would never recommend them. it's a theft

Too much to try to explain in a single review. We used them once before and it was great. This time, was nothing short of nightmarish!!!! I would love for someone to reach out to us and leave us a number to speak with someone who actually cares about customer service and is capable of listening and understanding what would have made our dealings better.

This place is a rip off if you need furniture that bad you do better using Arron, or waiting until your income tax comes in. If you don't have the cash or a credit card to buy your furniture However, i called them 4 times before they were to debit my account at the end of the month for my monthly payment. I advised them on those 4 phone calls that i needed them to take an old checking account out of the system because my spouse and i were separated and that was no longer a joint account. I also provided them with the new account number they confirmed with me on 4 different times that they had the right account. Guess what they didn't. because of the high monthly payments and the laws in Texas about splitting up assets i had to go to court . They were begged on several different occasion by myself and the BBB to provide me with a letter stating their faults, they also had all the recorded calls never once did they take ownership of the issue they actually turned it around and stated that it was my fault even though they had the calls. I asked them to reimburse me for court cost and fee. I have yet to receive a letter . I was told that i needed to send them my court documents showing i went to court. I mailed this to them 5 different times and also so did the attorney. Each time they claimed they did not receive it though we had signatures for each delivery and i was told that no one work their by the names of the people that signed for the deliveries. the only thing that saved me was that i had the BBB transcripts showing they admitted to the mistake and the court through everything out. Never once have they tried to correct their wrongs. I also asked several times for a payout amount so that i never have to deal with them again each time they refused to give me that . I would think since they messed up my account and cause so much trouble they would agree to a payout amount. Mind you i wasn't asking to pay less even though i deserve to get a cheaper amount because of the money they made me loose. They have never tried to make things right . I rather sit on the floor than to use this company ever again

Great customer service and great company to use, if you're looking to pay off in 90 days. It would be great if they were to extend their 90 days off, giving you more time to pay off the account without interest. Would use them again for a 90 pay off option.

I purchased my mattress through Okinus. I needed a short term long to payoff within two to three months. It was an quick and easy process and I received my mattress the same day.
Now when it comes to the payment and payment options, that another story. The guy at the Mattress place enter my member number as my bank information to set my account up on auto draft. So of course my first payment didn't clear the bank and Okinus thought they were going to charge me an NSF fee because of the guy's mistake. A big No No for me. So I set my account up with the correct bank information. I wanted my payments set up to have my account paid off in 3 payments, but they charge $10-11 for each transaction. NOPE. So I thought the rep set up my account for monthly payments and I would just call in the additional payments. NOPE. I received an email a week later saying my account was past due. So I called and spoke with Cecilia Bradley. Ms. Bradley was amazing. She was very friendly and very apologetic for all of my previous experiences. She explained everything to me and fixed my account. I found out the previous Rep did not set my account up on auto draft and thats the reason I received the past due notice.
Overall I wouldn't recommend the company, too many mistakes and seems like no one wants to take accountability for their mistakes besides Cecilia Bradley(which she wasn't the one who made the mistake). If I ever have to call the company for anything, I will definitely be asking for Ms Bradley.
I gave the company two stars: one for same day service and receiving my mattress same day and my second star for Ms Cecilia Bradley's superior customer service.

This is the 2nd time I have used Okinus and I'm very happy to say that it has been a great experience. On the first lease, I didn't have any issues and never needed to speak with an agent. This second time however, I had a situation and was connected with Ms Joan Robinson. Wow. She was fantastic. I work for a major hotel chain and am constantly working with guests. So as someone who knows the up and downs with working with the public, I was floored by her pleasant nature and ability to make decisions quickly. She calmly assisted me while exploring options. Because of her tenacity to check one last option, she has made an instrumental difference in my financial picture. Thank you Joan! You're one of the last true customer service professionals.
I had spoken to several representatives, but I kept getting the wrong information. Finally, I spoke with Martin Lopez. Martin was very knowledgeable and patient. He handled each detail meticulously and even stayed on the phone to be sure the issues were resolved. He was by far the best part of dealing with Okinus.

I have used Okinus on multiple occasions and always had a great experience. However, my last experience has ended this working relationship. Paying extra to have the option for the early buyout is a loan shark mentality. It is my fault because I did not pay attention to their financing changes, because my using them so often I understood how it works. If you have another option please use it. This company acts just like rent a center. There should not be extra charges because you want to eliminate the excessive cost that come from extending beyond 90 days.

The staff at Okinus' customer service center are always professional and polite. I worked Bri. Moore today and she was patient and explained to me available options and solutions to an issue we were having. She waited for me to look up the information O have and we compared what we had and found a solution that works for me. I appreciate this company as they have taken a chance on me as I work toward repairing hiccups from my past.
If I were able to give this business zero stars, I WOULD!!! I purchase $7400 worth of furniture in June 2019 and they have failed to report any positive payments to the credit bureaus. I sent them a letter requesting that they fix this (because if I were late or not paying) they would report negatively! Anytime I requested to speak with someone in there accounts department, I was told, "she's not here" or "she's gone for the day". I also plan on reporting this business to the BBB. They are the worst and are I'm sick of getting the run around with them.

A few others have commented down below about making sure you pay off within 90 days OR ELSE. I was under the impression that the interest would increase after 90 days, not a full additional charge that was 3x what the actual initial bill was. Meaning that the way it was explained to me (not sure about the others) was that if the bill was not paid off by 90 days, the interest would jump significantly.
The reality is that if the bill was $1500, despite payments, they tack on on an additional $4500 because they can. So if you borrowed $1500, made payments, but don't pay it off before 90 days, you will have this additional $4500 added on. So I was lied to in regards to this 90 days rule. Someone commented below saying they were $100 off from 90 days and got charged several thousand dollars after that.
I was unable to create an account to view my outstanding balance despite calling them. They just said they were having problems with it and IT is working on it. So I was never able to log onto their site to even see my balance or info during my entire time with them.
I never got any notification by mail or email of my overall balance or this 90 day deadline. I got emails of receipts of how much was paid, but never any remaining balance or 90 day notification. I called them to pay off what I was expecting to be a few hundred dollars left, only to be told I owe them $3800.
I have no problem paying interest, but this is extortion. The owner replying keeps mentioning the Better Business Bureau and their rating with them. The reality is that it is shading dealing and this is a corrupt company.
The lady told me I could pay $1800 which would be viewed as a "settlement" and I could never do business with them again. So in a final sweep, they hit my credit and take another grand from me. I'm not going to pay them any more than I have to.
When I've called, I tried speaking to a manager. No avail, all busy. Lesson learned.

My experience Today was very Professional and Productive!!!
I used Okinus to finance but payoff in 90 days. First, they charge $69.95 for the option to payoff early. Next, you have to call them to let them know you intend to payoff (you cannot do it at the time of purchase). I received a notification in October saying my first payment was 9/23/20, but I had not received the furniture on that date and no payment had been drafted. I called Okinus and they asked ME my furniture delivery date. They then said the payments would start 10/23/20 with a payoff date of 1/23/21. I only received 2 correspondences saying payments would start on 9/23/20, but it was random as though the payments were getting ready to start although they had been drafting already (it was the same original email I received). I did not receive any bills, notification of draft or anything during the 90 days. I called on 1/14/21 to pay the balance and was informed the date of payoff was 1/11/21. I informed the rep the the emails I received said 9/23 as a start date but that i had not received the furniture and she only restated what her notes listed. The rep let me pay off for an amount slightly above what it should have been. I paid it without question because due to the tone of the rep s voice and lack of professionalism, I could tell the conversation was going nowhere fast. I will never use them again.
Well this is my first time using okinus for financing and the representative that assist me with my question and answers today was Miss Cynthia Walden and she was very patient with me. she was polite and very knowledgeable about financing options helping me understand how this process work and what to expect so yeah customer service skills are exceptional thanks again

I have being working with Kim for over a year. I every time i have talk to Kim over the phone or via email,she has always given phenomenal customer service. She goes beyond and above to make sure to accommodate you and make sure to offer you assistance with your account.
