Had a great experience today with Bridgette Moore she was a professional and provided me with excellent service's that I needed.

I got approved very fast for a loan got a gorgeous table that I absolutely love auto payments came out on time every time I was able to purchase my table through the 90 days same as cash program I had a little hiccup because my bank made an error and put my money in the wrong account causing my final payment to be rejected okinus worked with me extended my 90 days out one or two days until I could get the problem resolved and also wrote me a letter for my bank to reimburse me the money that okinus had to charge me for my bank charging them a $30 fee because the payment didn't go through Alison Brown was the rep I spoke with and she was a tremendous help

We love how friendly and helpful Okinus is and today I had the pleasure of speaking to Bridget who helped me get the payment date changed to one that works better for us.

I decided to utilize Okinus for financing for a $500 furniture purchase for a Christmas gift. I planned to have the account paid in full within 90 days due to extremely high interest rates.Although the account was approved, Okinus declined to proceed with the purchase due to me not living in the Albany area (I live three hours away), but the merchandise being purchased will be located in Albany. My bank account information was included for payments; so it makes no sense that it matters where the payments are coming from as long as the payment are made. Doesn't matter, the purchase was still made., but I will not recommend this finance company for this stupid policy.

Tameika Flemmings did a great job!! She spoke very clearly and worked very quickly to resolve mi issue!! She really make your company look good and your customers feel important!!

The representative at Okinus was very patient and help me through the process. He took his time and explained everything clearly. Also, he ensured I understood the approved amount and help to find a participating retailer. Thank Charles W. for all your assistance. :-)

Mrs Marteaka Moore From Okinus Furniture Finance Department was so wonderful and and Customer Service was A 5 Star she help me paid my Furniture off she deserves A raise and more love her Spirit she handle every questions I ask her in a timely manner again Great Customer Service and on point!!!

I have had several loans through them and I would recommend them. However in saying that the key is paying your loan off within the 90 days. I've never not paid a loan off within the 90 days so I don't know how it is after your 90 days is up.

My agent was very professional and efficient. He was quick with letting me know my options to pay off my accounts.

Please very bad experience and i have learnt my lesson. A furniture that costed me approximately 5000.00 plus dollars, i paid 2990.00 down payment. I am paying 246.00 plus every first of the month. i just learnt from the staff that 120 .00 plus of this monthly payment goes toward the furniture, the rest goes to the leasing fees. By the end of the 24 months contract i will be paying approximately 8000.00 plus for the furniture. Please it is better to save money, wait to buy your furniture. this has been a nightmare.

This place was started out great, we got our Mattress and loved it. But then I had to close down a bank account and forgot to switch okinus over to my new one. My fault, once I got a call I had it charged to my Debit card and took at 10.00 fee. But then when I would sign on to the web site it said I owed about 200 more dollars than I should. Once I called them they said they never received a payment and I told them thats not true. They told me they never received a payment. They are horrible

I suggest purchasers visit reviews of this company on the BBB ( Better Business Bureau) website. TO ALL BEWARE!!.,, Okinus is a predatory financing company. My 1500.00 purchase turned into a 3000.00 purchase because it was not paid in full within 90 days. If you are using this company, it will behoove you to take the extra time ( that the agents do not) to FULLY READ YOUR CONTRACT in the FINE PRINT!!!!!! Otherwise, you willl fine yourself worrying more about SAVING YOUR CREDIT than you will enjoying your purchase!!! PlLEASE READ ALL of the first page ESPECIALLY the fine print!! I wish I had just placed my purchase in the lay away store plan... I am now paying twice as much as my purchase and I have NO idea why!!!! PREDATORY!!!!!

Option to pay off the merchandise is the best way to go with the 120 day same as cash option, they work with alot of big name companies where you can use your approval with!

My experience was amazing! Rosalynn Williams was so patient and answered all of my questions. My experience was so good, I asked for her personal extension because I don t want to deal with anyone else other than her. Not saying that every other representative is bad just that she was the best! Thank you, Rosalynn!

The few times I ve had to call into Okinus the employee whom answered the phone was always nice and informative. And it s always nice calling a customer service department that is based in the United States. Called in to make my final couch payment to get the 90day pay off price. And even went nice and smooth

Okinus is the worst place ever to do business with. I purchased almost 1,000 in furniture with them back in 2016. I made payments and they continued to say I didn t. I went to the bank called them while there and was offered early buyout option. Despite not wanting to pay them because I knew I already paid them off I allowed my bank to send them a check in the amount quoted to me. Now it s 2020 and they now have people calling saying i still owe them over 500 dollars and we need to pay it. Even tho I sent proof of early buyout amount they still are calling accusing me of lying. Me and my lawyer are meeting Monday on this whole situation. Lesson learned DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

Scam artist. Will take your money and go. They also work with a fraud computer company called Global Computers and they too are fraud. Go the opposite direction QUICK

This is by far, one of the best finance companies I have ever dealt with. The customer service agents are always so friendly and polite and willing to help resolve any issues you may have with your account. I highly recommend Okinus!

I haven t had a bad experience with this company and I been dealing with them for a year now. Tanya Caraway helped me when I need to adjust my payment dates with no problem. When I lost my job months back they help me stay on track with a payment plan so I can keep my merchandise. They get 5 stars from me.

This makes the second time you all took money from my account without my permission. And now I have been told that the only way to get my money back although it shows on your account that you took it from me; I have to screenshot you a picture of my bank statements. This is not fair and it's very upsetting! It wasn't my mistake. You've been taking money from my account for the last 3 months so, surely, you know the money has been taken from my account as I have said. Why do I have to go through this to get my money back ? It is very upsetting.

When they contacted her through email after she did what they requested. They still weren't happy and not once did they apologized for their mistake.

Excellent customer service! I had the pleasure to speak with Ms. Cecilia Bradley who went above and beyond to get me the information I needed. She made sure I understood my payments and my total amount. I love that she listened to me and made sure my every question was answered. This is my first time using this company and I'll be sure to pass on how great this company is!!!

Great Company. I haven't had a problem with them. I purchased a bedroom set in February 2015 that was about $900. I chose the 90 same as cash option because I knew that it would be just plain STUPID for me to pay double that amount if i took the 14 month finance option. I kept records of all the payments that I made. Every time I made a payment I requested a confirmation sent to my e-mail. I have made all my payments ahead of schedule and I will be making my last payment today May 2015. All in all, I have no complaints with this company. Should issues ever arise I ALWAYS make sure to have record of any payment I have made. That would be my advise to anyone who maybe interested in them for financing.

I called to change something in my account and Alison Brown was the representative I spoke with on the phone. She was courteous and gave excellent service. It took no time to take care of my issue.

Let me start by saying, I before did have a decent experience my first time around with this company..so once again I decided to go back and ignore the reviews because I personally didn t have anything to bad happen with them..
Don t waste your time on these people, so rude, unprofessional, unorganized, and Matilda Hurst is supposedly a manager , she s yet to call me back after I ve tried to come in contact with her for a fault on Okinus s end. I m outraged at how I m being treated as a customer when Ive always been on time with payments and an easy customer at that. Stay away from this company unless you want to be like the other hundreds of people and I, ripped off and writing a review on google!

I had the pleasure of speaking with a Mr. Ruben Martinez and he was very thorough and knowledgeable when explaining everything that I needed to know about my plan. I am very satisfied with the service that he provided. I did not leave confused after speaking with him.

DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT finance anything through them because you will end up paying 3 times more than what the furniture cost. How the furniture cost $2500 & when it's all said and done your balance $6500. Then try to pay off when you have 15 more payments left and the payout is $2000 after you paid $3400 already since you had the loan and owe $2000 just to pay it off...I just don't understand..Will start asking other companies who they finance from and if it's these people ...I will walk back out ..run out

They're system doesn't communicate well. In an attempt to pay off within 90 days, I made a payment prior to my due date however They're system doesn't report payments immediately and they drafted my account screwed up my bank account. If I could give negative stars, that's what I would give!!!

CAUTION OF HIDDEN FEES. Ashley Furniture was experiencing shipping delays up to 10 weeks so we decided to utilize the 90 day same as cash option instead of allocating our available financial resources as we were in the process of closing on our newly built home. I can appreciate the professionalism of OKINUS customer service representative Bridgette. She was apologetic after notifying me that I would in fact be paying nearly 400$ more than the amount indicated on my contract. The additional fees included a fee for early payoff and tax fees. Needless to say this was a waste for me. It took Ashley furniture 2 months to send an undamaged table so none of this was at all beneficial plus now I'm out $400. And if you decide to return your items OKINUS will report you to the credit bureau and keep any payments you've paid plus charge you additional fees. Honestly, you are better off using your own money or credit to make purchases. Very big lesson learned!!!!!!!!!!!

Tanya Carraway was very professional in answering all of my questions and making sure i understood the answer before we moved on to another question she did not try to rush me off the phone either.

Every time I've been on chat with this company their representatives have been very short. Considering I work customer service I have a level of experience I expect in return. The couple of times I've called they are short as well and seem to not know the processes. We pay on time every month and fulfilled our agreement so I'm not saying this as a bitter customer just wanted to offer advised that if they would like to keep good customers, get better customer service. Can't say that I would use them again.

The customer rep was very friendly and explained everything great. He even gave me ways to save on my bill by paying off early. Only reason not 5 stars is because the company who we bought from did not explain the agreement well.

Terrible experience! I feel bamboozled. They will add unnecessary Interest. Original balance was 840.00 1st payment was due in june. I made a one time payment in the amount of 400.00 in june, now they are telling me I owe 1600.00 plus dollars! I will never do business with okinus. Customer service is horrible all they do is rush you off the phone, hang up in your face or leave you on hold for long periods. You can forget about speaking to a supervisor they are never available.

I thought this was a good customer. They lie and say that they report to the credit bureau and they DON'T!. Customer service is incompetent. NOBODY knows nothing and there is not a Manager available to help.
They have a very small credit department with one person in there to help the hundreds of customers that they have.Only one manager on duty and the other is always out to lunch!
Your on hold from 5-15 min at a time just for the person to come back and repeat the same thing.
I would never recommend anyone to this company. I strongly recommend anyone that uses this company to check your credit file!
