Now Larimar Punta Cana Resorts & Spas Review

I am staying at the hotel since Sunday, I can say, what you have are kind and many good things. <br/> But what eclipses, is the PESIMA attention in the bars ... it's the worst, they do not take good care of you and they ignore you if you do not give them a tip in the moment. To graph it, there is a guest at the pool bar (turtle bar) that has been waiting for more than 20 minutes while the bartender is eaten secretly by a hotel passenger in exchange for better service or drinks (liquors) ) of better quality. I can conclude that if you do not bring a tip or food they will treat you VERY BAD. <br/> I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Can t say how nice and efficient the staff was. The entertainment was great and food spot on. Only gave it a 4 star because of the beach. Had seaweed and water wasn t as clear. They hotel did work it s hardest to clean the beach. We walked about 5 miles north and the beach was clear and blue. Overall I would come here again for the food,entertainment, and pools. Had a great relaxing time here.

You can choose both sides. Being in the relaxation area or being in a more fun area

Really great time staying here for 7 days! Good food and nice resort, only issue was being hassled every 20 mins to buy things or excursions.

We were a group of 10 people, among friends and family, and the truth is that although at the beginning we went with the uncertainty of the beginner, since it was the first time we traveled to the Caribbean, in the end it turned out to be the vacation of our lives.
As soon as we arrived, we were surprised by the organization of the hotel and the good work of its employees, both at the reception (Esteban and another boy whose name I don't remember), as well as the guys who took our bags for us.
Then it was time to visit the Canibal buffet and the a la carte restaurants. Well, after having read some negative comments regarding the food they serve at the buffet, I have to say that there are assholes everywhere. PLEASE, the food is delicious, super varied, abundant, whatever you say is little. And the employees who work there go out of their way to serve you well. Special mention to Mr. Ortega, who was always attentive to the lack of anything to drink.

Special mention to the hotel entertainers, who are in the pool area in the afternoon doing contests and in the evening in the central square. I don't want to miss out on naming the girl above all, Miss BARBY, sweet as herself, nice, nice, come on! all a luxury of employee.
Well, how can I forget a person like me, a real taster of a good copichuela of Ron accompanied by soda, those gentlemen at the bar LOBBY, such as HENRY, JUAN D., DANIEL and ROBERTO, all professionals where they there is when it comes to knowing how to treat a client. And the girls on the terrace like Marcy and the rest.
Nor do I want to let go of thanking the rest of the staff who are there in the background and that it seems that nobody sees them, but that without their contribution it would not be possible for everything to be prepared and ready so that I and the rest of the clients can enjoy an unforgettable vacation. The staff I mean are the girls who make the rooms. In my case, the one who worked at night cleaning the area of my room, 2236, and of which I do not know the name, I must say that every night we were surprised when we returned to the room, where we found the bed full of flower petals and with a different drawing made with a towel: an artist. As well as the replenishers, gardeners, cooks, laborers, cart drivers, etc ... Many thanks to all of you.

Because with your collaboration you have achieved that both I, and the rest of my group, are looking forward to this year to come back next year. Thank you and goodbye. It was a pleasure.

Our family just returned home last night from a great vacation with immediate family and friends.

Now Larimar is a great place with a great beach front lacation. We highly recommend the upgrade to the preferred club.

The staff, especially Henry Ramirez, Esmerlyn, Santos, Robinson and Franklin made our stay spectacular. Friendliest and most accommodating staff ever.

The only reason I cannot give a five star rating is the food. I wish I could give a 4.9 rating overall rating since the food was just a small portion of the overall trip. While it was plentiful, fresh and with great variety it was bland.

We recommend Now Larimar for family vacations. We had a great time.

Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, spacious and comfortable rooms. A place for families with children and for those seeking silence.

The Now Larimar Entertainment Team was excelente!!! Cappuccino, Mini Baby, Black Panda and Barbie made our stay a 10/10 :) They really go above and beyond to make your stay worth it. Plus they have some pretty sweet dance moves!

The installations are very good. But the food requires improving the variety and flavor.

Heavenly place, top, super clean, organized, several choices of restaurants and food - as they say - excellent! Wonderful pools, bar services on the beach, dedicated and attentive staff, entertainment on site, if you do not even need to leave the place at night it has everything there, super recommend and will be back !!!

4 out of 5 stars. Overall, the hotel is very nice, large and recently remodeled. The pool and the beach are in very good condition. The point for which I do not give 5 stars is the food, they have a very good variety of restaurants but you must wait to be able to sit and / or make reservations in some. A plus is the care of children. In general, breakfast is the best part but as the day goes by the quality and variety decreases. I recommend that if you go as a group, bring your own drink, I didn't see much variety in it. The people are warm and very friendly.

Staff very nice, nice room, good service, food not the best could improve alot. At check in they try and sell the prefers club to you.If you really want the prefers club say no at the front desk and when the lady or man comes to take you to your room she will ask you if you bought it. If you say no she will offer it to you for free if you go to a 90 min breaskfast to learn about the vacation club other wise they will give you a 50% discount at check in but that is still $400.00 way to much money. If you don't have the perfered you have one pool to swim in the other two is for perfered club. Good not great that way I only have this place a 3 star food was not the best. Very little shade by the main pool . If you want shade be out at 6 am and lay your towels out. They say not to but everyone does and if you don't you will be laying in direct sun all day. I don't see my self comming here again I had a good time but compared to other resorts I have stay in if falls short on being a four star resort.

Perfect stay, very friendly staff. The best thing is that there are hammocks for everyone at the foot of the pool. Very good grill and Mexican themed restaurants.

Attention, facilities, friendliness, predisposition of the staff, everything is impeccable. A beautiful place to share with the family, rest and have more than good!

We went for a wedding, food was medicore not great, service was spotty some was good some was bad. We would wait forever for drinks. Need to check batteries on doors because we got locked out of our room and they had to tear it apart to change it. Would not replace my huge bottle of mamajuana that the housekeeping broke would not reimburse me for the ruined clothes and the assistant manager was rude as could be and called us liars. Good thing the bride spoke Spanish and called him out. Would not recommend this resort at all due to their lack of customer service and everyone pushing you to buy a timeshare or anything that cost. Luckily we had good weather and a fun group.

The staff is super friendly and attentive. The grounds are beautiful and well kept up. The beach is spectacular.

Great Resort and staff. Awesome pools and very family friendly resort. The quality of food in the buffet area could be a little better but wasn't that bad. The a la carte restaurants were better.

Simply overrated as there are basically 1 cheap and broken beach chair for 4 guests all over the resort. Overall Poor quality for price. Will certainly avoid the brand for the future !

This was my first all inclusive vacation and this was an amazing resort, with wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and great food. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for an all inclusive Caribbean getaway!

Only visited this as it shares grounds and beach with Secrets Royal Beach. Seemed quite nice and the beach is amazing. Staff are shared with Secrets and they are truly amazing.

Ultimately this is a very nice hotel! I'm going to go in different stages when leaving this review.
Host: From the time my party and I came in Joan "Juan" took care of us from the beginning to the end. He was very helpful, professional, humble, trustworthy and much more! He made our stay a more comfortable experience. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Excursion set up: Harvi was GREAT and very helpful with helping us to decide our excursion.

Restaurants: I love the Mexican, Japanese and French. I'm not a fan of buffet so I did not like the buffet. They should open a fresh breakfast spot and somewhere to eat lunch during the day. Keep in mind breakfast and lunch are at the bar Buffet. The only time the restaurants are open it is during dinner time.

Marciello was another host. My BF lost her shades $$ and he helped her locate the person that had them.

Outback Tours: Jorge was the BEST at giving the tour. Raymond way the driver both were wonderful. Jorge kept the tour alive with his entertainment.

Medical staff: We had a medical emergency while there and medical were on hand within moments and very helpful. Shout out to Mario who was first on hand vacationing with his family and stayed beside us the entire time. Can't remember the nurse name but she was WONDERFUL as well.

Excellent hotel to spend a good vacation. Good facilities ... and I treat you kindly. We would go back

Wonderful holidays in this hotel, very nice rooms and very clean, a sublime well maintained, a restaurant with a lot of choice, as well as restaurants around, a beautiful place where you can walk without forgetting a very good welcome from all services, I highly recommend this hotel

I loved this place! Beautiful, clean, nice choice of restaurants to eat at (love the French one personally, great creme brule), lots of planned activities if you want to be involved, nice beach, game room, had a casino and night club and nightly shows. Just a great all inclusive and very friendly staff. They went out of their way to remember your name and what you like. Thanks staff you were great!

Room not re-stocked, housekeeping inconsistent, not recommended for single female travelers due to staff overstepping and population in general being too familiar and pushy. Beautiful setting. Despite nice room very musty, the food was delicious. Not actually near the beach. All activities, shops, beach access is at a sister resort, Now Larimar. Next time I'd just go there.

Really nice hotel. All inclusive... That includes the mini bar, room service and all amenities apart from spa treatments..

Excellent deal beautiful place to vacation with family

The hotel has a great infrastructure and has service on the beach, great for those who want to enjoy a place well located, with a beautiful beach and very comfortable. The complex is still up against a second hotel called now garden which has pool and etc which you can also enjoy.

Our stay here was restful and enjoyable for the week. The entire hotel staff was were very friendly and always around to server and help you. The accommodations were very nice and up to standards... they do a great job at maintaining More

I was at Now Larimar from Nov 1st to the 4th. I love every day that I was there, I took tons of pictures, the place was beautiful, the pool, the beach, the sand, the people , the hotel,the food, the service. The only sad part for me on this trip was that I left my very expensive camera on the bus that took us to the airport. When I got off at the airport, I left it on my seat and the bus driver or the attendant did not turn it in. The camera cost more than my trip. I cried all the way home back to good old USA. Not sure if I want to go back, I had hope that the bus drive would have turn in my camera to the hotel. It was not the hotel fault. Would have love to bring back better memory of this country. Still crying.

Went with the kids (5 & 10) and had lots to keep them and myself busy and entertained the whole week. The staff are amazing and super friendly. The facilities are clean and lots of options for eating. We went for a wedding which was beautiful!!! They did such a great job with the arrangements! I would recommend Now Garden to anyone. We stayed at Now Garden and shuttled to Larimar. It was nice and quiet with entertainments short walk or shuttle away.

Beautiful hotel and friendly people. Food was ok but not outstanding.

Rooms are okay except there is no privacy with the toilet. They called our room constantly which was extremely annoying. We walked in on one of the employees going through our room (we know because he was eating snacks that were in my purse in the bottom of the closet. All our money and valuables were in the safe) reported it and heard nothing back. Called the front desk about kids screaming and running up and down the hall at 12 am and they told me to deal with it. The management staff is really unexceptional but the restaurant staff is very good. If this was my first time here I would be very unimpressed with Punta Cana. The beach here is very full of sea weed and the chairs are uncomfortable. Half way through the week several bus loads of large groups showed up and have been making the place their own trailer park. Also if you're expecting anything special for your special occasion you won't get it here, they could care less. All and all love Punta Cana but would never recommend this resort and would never come back.

Excellent hotel, very good food and very clean areas and modern rooms

Now Larimar Punta Cana is a very fun and enjoyable place to go. The food is good. The beach is awesome. the resort is maintained very well. the rooms are very nice. Their is one restaurant for lunch out on the beach area that has an amazing view to eat at. The resort is worth eating here. The big knock at this resort is they do not know how to make pretty much any alcoholic drink unfortunately. We tried so many drinks, but never could find something they could make well... that is the big knock on this place.

this place has 2 areas to stay at this hotel. You can stay over by the water or they have a side area that is a little walk off the main resort is is secluded and nice.

Excellent hotel, excellent service, I loved everything and I felt comfortable, I plan to return again. Waaooo la Parrilla faces the excellent beach.

Would recommend this resort to any family. It's perfect in every way. We stayed in preferred club we has a concierge 24hours they were fantastic all staff were amazing we also had breakfast in the room and private pools. It also caters for weddings in very beautiful surroundings, whether it be by the pool, lush gardens or even on the beach. Restaurants have amazing food. My kids loved the kids club. Have to and must visit now larima again would recommend to anyone
