Absolutely loved it. Its definitely worth the price. Good food by the sea with excellent customer service. A picturesque setting lovely views of the waterfront as you enjoy your meal. I am definitely going back.

The Customer service was atrocious. I made an $11,000.00 reservation the day before only arrive to a "I don't know" and "I'm sorry situation". And in explaining my frustration I was told I'm being demanding. He gave attitudex10 , mikhail that is.. I would not send my dog to stand up at the door much less go there and eat.
The staff was very friendly and attentive, not sure if its because it wasn't a busy night however I dig customer service and that was very evident. The ambiance was also really nice, food was prepared and delivered within a timely manner...its just the taste wasn't very good but maube its what i had ordered in comparison to what i expected it to taste like but overall a good experience and I would definitely visit again.
I only gave this a star because it wouldn't allow me to make the post without at least giving it one star. This place is way too overrated! I paid $4000 to secure reservation for 4 people. When we arrived people were already sitting in the seats we reserved then the waitress is gonna tell me she can't tell them to move. When we eventually got seated, myself and my family tried to have a conversation which was impossible due to how loud the darn music was. We had to be reading each other's lips. It cost me almost $12000 for the meals and we all left hungry. We had to stop at tastee and grab some patties as we left unfulfilled while feeling like we didn't get value for my money. I only tip the server because i knew she didn't have much control of the matter. I wouldn't return nor recommend.
I don't even know where to start. The customer service was poor, we sat 34 mins before a anyone noticed us, the restaurant was not even full. There were insects on the table and when this was brought to the attention of the manager he said nothing. The food was awful. It was a party of 8 and each of us order different things and it was very distasteful. And when we thought it couldn't get any worse they padded the bill.. $2000 of things we didn't order was put on the final bill. Would not recommend!!!
Very Poor Customer Service. We arrived at 8 30 pm for our reservation and could not place our order until minutes to 11pm. Why you may ask? Well after our server took our drink order at 9 pm and we received the drinks. Our server did not attend to us thereafter. Members of the group had to approach her more than once and her reply was always the same, she needed the tablet to take our order and could not find it. We then found the manager to explain what had happen and it was then that we got a replacement server to take our order at minutes to 11. Please also bear in mind that the kitchen closes at 11. At the end of it all we received no food and took the money we had to pay to reserve our table. It is safe to say that they have lost 6 customers.
This is one of the best sites for drinking with friends and enjoy a wonderful sea view. The food is good and the prices are fair, but the staff is not attentive or friendly. If you can live with this terrible service, this is your place in Kingston downtown.
This place is horrible. The food is not all that very small. The ribs was very tiny and didn't taste good. The SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!! Very long Wait for food. They don't seat u to a seat very poor customer service. The workers forget what u order and don't even apologize. Been here twice and I won't be coming back. Great venue and scenery but very poor in customer service and food.
The security guard made rude comments about the accent of a young lady at our table and tried to intimidate us by pretending to reach for a weapon on his waist.
atmosphere is nice.. music is gd.. but the food took forever to come. we almost left. some of the staff need retraining.... NO Manners... our main waitress Mezon(think thats the spelling) was a doll tho.
Very nice atmosphere. Its way more relaxing than the one in Barbican but i guess the location defines that. Food is good, good customer services and though a little wait as it was really a busy night the staff made it seemed like nothing with how friendly and accommodating they were
The ocean view is excellent. Food is tasty but I often get my food cold and I'm not sure why. The service has deteriorated in recent months. the wait time is increasingly longer.
Went to Ribbiz for a pre Christmas dinner with my friends. Had a great time. Service was good and so was the food. I ate the pork chops which I'm still dreaming about, lol. Atmosphere was enjoyable, my only critique is that the music was a bit too loud. We couldn't hear each other and we had to shout all the time. They need to make adjustments to that but other than that, would definitely go again.
I was so excited to visit this branch of Ribbiz because the first one had such excellent food and service. But boy was I in for a surprise. Firstly, the wait was tremendously long, what I got was nowhere near what I read on the menu, it was almost inedible. Then as icing on the cake I found a rolled up piece of napkin in my drink and struggled back and forth with having it taken off the bill. I understand that newer places will have issues, but this seemed like way too much for a first visit.
From the start of walking in and seeing a sign that says please wait to be seated at the host post and no one approaches you for 5 minutes and bartender just stares at you. (We should of left then) Seated ourselves, waited another ten minutes for a waiter to come over, no one did so I stopped one walking by and asked if she was our server? (Because she was serving tables near us) With an attitude, she says "Are you ready to order." We say no because no one has approached us with menus even. She gives us two and walk away. We enjoyed view and hear other tables talking about bad service and food. We continue to wait (15 minutes about) had to stop her again. Asked for water and order drinks. Then ordered our soup and lunch together. To shorten this up, the waiter brought us soup, my lunch, then my boyfriend food 6 minutes later. Still never had our drinks or water. She comes back and confirm what kinda drink we had. Got mines right, Mai Tai but suggested Henniken for my boyfriend and he order red strip. Comes back 10 minutes later with my drink, then 5 minutes later brings the beer! At this point we are done wasting the food. That we did not enjoy. I order alfredo pasta with lobster and I had more shell in my food than lobster meat. My boyfriend plate had random lettuce on it with salamon and fried plantains but fish wasn't good and the lettuce wasn't needed it, it wasn't a salad and didn't make plate look good. I wouldn't suggest going here ever.
My experience was amazing.However, the customer service is alright to an extent. If u plan to visit don't visit on a holiday place will be pack. Food is great will presented but dont try their plaza idk what that is. Otherwise its a great place A1 view good vybz the environment is pleasant.
Poor customer service went at 9pm and the waiter gave us the menu an md didnr return until 9:30, to tell us the kitchen is now closed, we order drinks which she then took 15 mins to get to us..... first time there was a horrible experience
1st visit i was on the waiting list and decided to wait in the lounge area, no one called even though they took my number. Witness persons who came after being seated so i left. Decided to try another time when i thought the traffic would be a slower. Service was poor, orders appetizers and a main dish got them the same time. My partner got his before me and i was left waiting. Then when i was through with appetizer my main meal was cold. Had to ask for water as none was given. The ribs was just bone.
The food is good but as usual the service falls down. It was a very slow afternoon and they still struggled to properly serve the sparse tables there were. The drinks are still pretty good
I ordered a chicken pasta and it was cold the pasta was watery like soup the food tasted real nasty,I told the waitress and she query about it and the chef came out drinking alcohol arguing with me so unprofessional the worst experience I ever had going to ribbiz, I recommend ribbiz ultra lounge..the waitress was nice and the drinks as well.
Had the tour on loose cannon and then stopped for a drink, was informed that each person who was on the tour was entitled to a free drink, however the staff disregarded us for about 30mins,then told us it was a special type of drink which had to be made, drink was made but everyone who waited didn't get a drink as enough wasn't made available for everyone, the drink tasted like piss and they were left on the counter, customer service is of essence when doing business
Customer service has deteriorated since my last visit. The drinks service is ok but waiting for a hour for food is not acceptable. The waitress did not even offer an excuse for the delay.
Very chill spot immediately on the waterfront. You can dine indoors, with multiple TVs for your entertainment, cool A/C, bar e.t.c., or on the outdoor terrace by the sea. Very scenic, spacious, good food and moderate prices. All in all, a good spot in downtown Kingston.
