This training institute has an incredibly poor internal structure. Errors are constantly being made. No account is taken of the (working) students. An example here is that a week and a half before a lesson, the hours are moved without taking into account "working the Netherlands". Reason for relocation: the teacher goes on vacation. Whether the students just want to take it into account. There will then be 1 date on which the lesson can be followed. This means that several students cannot take this important lesson. Subsequent complaints will not be responded to. It is a shame that an institution that asks a lot of money for its training can do this with impunity.

I wrote an email asking if I could get more information and advice about a number of courses. I immediately received a registration form, this did not answer the questions. I have experienced this as pushy. This made me feel that the customer service lady was unable to provide me with the correct information.
I once again sent an email asking if I could be put in touch with a training teacher or (former) student. Then I got a call from the same lady with the answer that: Firstly, according to her, my previous education / work background does not suit the study program I want more information from. I found this a strange reproach. And that I also could not be brought into contact with a training teacher or (former) student.
Eventually I received a brochure by mail with the most expensive option of the courses. I find it strange and unfortunate that I have been treated this way. Perhaps this does not apply to the rest of the team or the NCOI training teachers, but this lady has treated me unkindly and I don't really know what she was talking about. While I just asked for more information.
What a bad company! Just want to see money and when canceling a week late due to unforeseen private circumstances you have to pay 550. So-called administration costs (10% of your training costs). After many e-mails and input from the legal counter this amount has dropped to 200.00, but this has to be paid. These are the administration costs. Please note: the training only starts in September, I have not yet received any books, teaching materials or the like, just a confirmation of registration. This confirmation therefore costs you 200! Never step into NCOI. The whole internet is full of bad reviews and they don't lie.
My experience with NCOI (part of the Board Academy) is positive. I had registered for a 4-month course in The Hague. Due to insufficient registrations for the The Hague location, the course was moved to Utrecht. For this I received an email if I agreed with this change. I felt I could have said No too, but in this case I agreed. Furthermore, at the 1st time I had login problems with E-Connect, the digital learning environment. I was helped well and quickly by phone, and after that it went by itself. General communication went to my satisfaction. After the 1st lesson I had problems that had nothing to do with the course itself. I had discussed this with study advisors Eline and Ineke from the Board Academy. The response was understanding and smooth. I liked the personal contact. The study advisers had thought along with me and a solution was found. I give 4 out of 5 stars. 5 stars means perfect and I think, in general, there is always room for improvement (fortunately, because perfection is boring; o)). Disclaimer: NCOI is a large organization and I don't know the internal structure. My positive experience concerns the service of the NCOI part of the Academy of Education in the Netherlands.
After my 2nd module was canceled, the last module for the 2nd time does not have enough registrations. The first time it could be followed in Rotterdam. 1.5 hours of travel time to get there and extra cost so no thank you. The module was allowed to be postponed. However, the person could tell me that there were already several registrations at my location for the same module and that they actually assumed that the lessons would continue. They would immediately adjust it in the system that I wanted to take class lessons in my preferred location from March onwards.
Now my module has to start in 2.5 weeks and suddenly there was a start date on a Monday while I take lessons on Friday. Just sent an email to see what was going on. Ms could see that I was registered for e-learning (thank you administration) and that again there were not enough registrations and the lessons will again not be given in my preferred location but in Utrecht ...
The best thing is that you can request a refund in case the lessons are canceled. I myself have 3 module a almost 4000 euros. If the lessons are canceled, you will receive 75 euros back for the food you do not take.
Experience has shown that the teachers of e-learning are not really looking forward to it. Homework is poorly checked and 9 out of 10 times the feedback was that it is all good. To find out when you made your final assignment that you had not completed an assignment that well. My e-learning teacher had also put all the answers of the entire module online during the 2nd lesson ... It is useful as a reference work if you do not fully understand the assignment, but it did not make any sense. The spelling mistakes could not be counted.
If another institution offers the same (type of) study, I would certainly choose the other one
Unkind approach, a newcomer who also charges very high rates and is barely familiar with what they want to know from you on the exam. They have only just offered the training. Glad I didn't do it! Don't fall for it. NCOI is apparently not aware that there are many more trainers for real estate agents who have been around for much longer and have satisfied candidates. In Nieuwegein, Leiden and other places. Take a look and ask around!
Poor service, first they promise you golden mountains and anything is possible with a training voucher but if it threatens to go wrong then that flexibility almost immediately disappears ...
I regret having trained here. Very poorly organized and if you have passed the training at the end, you will not receive the diploma you are entitled to in accordance with the agreement and training information. If you want a lot of frustration for a lot of money and get little in return, definitely do it. I had already been warned about the NCOI, but if I had only listened.
Do NOT choose NCOI as a trainer. I am a professional master of business administration (more or less the first year of the MBA). But what a disaster, a waste of my money. The guidelines for the final assignments that are given appear to deviate from the assessment criteria of the evaluators. Result: a rain of insufficient results. 3 of the 13 participants have a pass. Appealing costs 75, - takes 6 weeks and everyone who has objected are the objections declared unfounded. But yes, the exam committee is also from the NCOI and will therefore never drop the examiners and teachers. If NCOI gives different criteria to the exam criteria, then the student is the victim and the Examination Board rejects your complaint. Submitting a complaint to NCOI itself is also pointless, because the teachers are also being held over here. A rain of inadequacies is dismissed with 'the teacher only gives advice and perhaps a student misunderstands it, among other things.' During the classes, teachers in front of the class read aloud in a chair from unreadable ones because they have copied all the material from the books in the sheets. In doing so, they try to promote their own invented models. What a joke and that for 20,000 For me and my employer the badkoop of the century.
Most troubled training institution ever, has been waiting for months for a response to receive no response. For me it is expected that I will simply pay the invoices. I advise people to look at another institute.
So worthless. They don't have their records in order. They offer nearby lessons, but they are usually 100 km away. And we have been waiting three months for the diploma to be called repeatedly every time the answer is that the diploma is on its way. Well the postman has been around the world 3 times.
Update It has now taken so long that some courses have to be redone, so after a two-year course and 8000 euros no further diploma. Now we are going to demand money back.
NOT TO BEGIN !! Then throw your money straight into a well. A lot goes wrong. From mistakes in the curriculum, to giving incorrect information to a potential student, to curriculum that does not match each other. To download links that are not good at all. Someone who draws products should not have architectural drawing. If you ask how autoCad is given, do not say that it goes through your eConnect, but that you must have a strong laptop yourself. I did not have it, so I would have chosen something else, now I am hunted for expenses by incorrect information from you. And now, a few days later, I hear from the teacher that I can also work with an older version of autoCad. So now I bought another laptop for free because my old laptop does attract the 2016 version. Is going so nice NCOI !!
By the way, I also had absolutely no 3D drawing, something that was part of the course.
The 3-month support is also only available on paper. Ask 1 week before the end of the support and you will receive NO ANSWER. And then they just say that the support has ended.
Don't start! Poorly arranged. Modules that cannot be given in class because of too few registrations. Maybe in a year there will be enough registrations ... while you want to finish your education in a year.
If the lessons are given in class, if you then ask any questions, you can whistle for your answer.
Generally good teachers, but because I was not (correctly) informed by MVP or NCOI prior to the training, I am not admitted by the branch organization the RB after completion of the training! Thanks for that MVP / NCOI !!! How bad. How difficult is communication after agreements made in September 2017!
NCOI / MVP: don't do it !! Please read the RB response, see image! ================================================================ ======== Dear NCOI Training,
Following the response under my review.
Perhaps this is a standard response from the NCOI, but what response has been received from NCOI / MVP? Nothing at all certainly not a targeted solution. Not even then.
The only so-called solution that was offered was the transition from RBc training to RB without compensation. Only more sales for NCOI / MVP.
Again: what bad information is provided at the start of a course: gross error; after completion of training no recognized diploma by professional association RB.
You have to work hard, especially if you want to do a bachelor's in your own time. That is part of the game and if it means that you can do business less privately, it is a consequence of the choice. Teachers are often very experienced, knowledgeable and often passionate. Do their best to help you, it is certainly not the fault of the teachers if you fail. A bachelor's degree in 3 phases, at the 1st quotation the rates were f1 approx. 5000, f2 approx. 5000 and f3 6000. A lot of money I thought, but start anyway. In the end it became: f1 5000, f2 6500 and f3 9900. Almost 5500 euros more than was initially told. After phase 2, people know that you want to complete the bachelor anyway - and that there is nowhere else to do that, and that you are going to pay anyway - and then they mercilessly pull you off. You have your back to the wall and you have no choice but to pay. And when the new phase starts, different modules will not be taught with lectures and you cannot choose but to follow them per e-learning. A disappointment, you choose and pay for class but just get an e-learning. Bad luck! money away! No leniency arrangement is also possible. In addition, the promised planning will be extended from one year to 2.5 years. Nothing is possible, just 'no, sorry and no sorry'. Have you been working on a module assignment for weeks and almost finished, the module exam requirements are suddenly adjusted! You are shocked to death! Well, you can do 60% again. In the evening when you are learning, no one is available, you can chat with a robot, but .., that is of no use to you. Exemptions provision is very difficult, a discouragement policy so to speak. This involves extreme costs. A personal meeting with the exemptions assessor is not possible, everything goes through an intermediary. No logical arguments, if you want to do phase 3 you will suddenly have to do the 'new' modules of phase 2. The process takes weeks. They want more money again, it looks a bit like extortion. Then you have to take an exam with several hundred students in, for example, the trade fair halls, it turns out afterwards in the Whatsapp group that 95% of the students really failed. Just request one resit and then pay. Well also happens. And actually there is nothing verifiable for students. Nobody pays 400 for viewing an exam that has been taken if a 'herret' costs less. Moreover, you are not allowed to bring anything with you to the visit (max. 1 hour, only in Utrecht). You will also not receive a copy and you may not take a photo. This stinks. Big question marks about what they call 'Professionalisation'. Students have to provide a lot of private information, information about how they function at work and what is not going well. Who wants to share this now? Nobody! Nevertheless, it must be done by the NCOI, otherwise the training cannot be completed. Everywhere people try to respect the GDPR, except at NCOI. Subsequently, a 'development plan' must be drawn up and submitted. And with how many internal / external officials is this shared? Subsequently, proof must be provided for the achievement of the SMART development goals (even more private data on the street ...). And what was considered 'evidence' according to the law in this 20 years ago, money for the NCOI not as proof. . Can you learn a lot at the NCOI? Yes, but you have to dare to put your private appointments aside and stretch your financial principles. You are going to be heavily milked. Such as, for example, also with the so-called 'suddenly changed educational programs, which means that you' suddenly 'have to follow (and pay) many more modules. And no, 'there is no other way' if you want to graduate, you must follow this. The financial story is downright vulgar, in stark contrast to the efforts of the teachers. Which is good. I would not recommend this organization for an Associate degree, Bachelor or ID. Just too much disappointment, delay, paying more again, frustration. I would still dare to do this for a day course or weekly course.
Bad impression from ncoi. Emailed 4x with specific question about study and a person in our company. No answer. Finally after the 4th mail (and 3 weeks later) received a reply that I can contact you. DONE by phone, but receptionist did not know the employee, eventually transferred to MBO courses and then 21 min! put on hold. This really cannot be the intention of a training institute. It may be useful to train well internally.
I followed an education, but quit. The teacher I had was good, that's the only plus. The exam I had to take was dramatic. Many mistakes, unclear questions, theory questions that were not addressed in class. As if the exam was put together by an unmotivated intern within the NCOI. For a re-exam you just pay 195 euros, outrageous simply because the first exam was very poorly developed. It was promised that all teaching periods could be given at the nearest location, but except for the first period, everything was only possible at a minimum of 1.5 hours away. When I indicated to quit, where you are entitled to get the other paid training costs back, it took weeks before I got it back. I have had to email or call 5 times. Then it was said that I would get the money back, but out of the blue I was charged again for a new exam that I had not even applied for. I called again after many emails and phone contacts and it turned out that there was not even a system in my system that I would get my money back, they only changed it then and would take 2 weeks. All in all it took at least a month. NCOI is definitely not recommended, they are money wolves and the communication and administration is just bad.
I am a master at the NCOI and I would have liked to know a few things in advance, so I share them here. The lessons are very focused on the final assignment you have to make, but once you are used to that, it is fine. I personally would like it better if there was more room for the theory, but in terms of planning you will encounter problems with creating the module assignment. The assessment of the assignment is a different story. The problems arise during the assessment. Your assignments are assessed by an anonymous person. I have had an inadequate and the following happens then. You may not have contact with the person you have assessed, you may ask 5 substantive questions via the Examination Board, but the assessor does not have to answer that question because the NCOI only pays for the assessment, not for the follow-up. Your first re-exam then immediately costs 195 euros. If you want to object to the assessment, you may pay 75 euros, but if you googled again, you will see that you hardly ever win such an objection and then you will have to pay 270 euros for your re-exam. I would have liked to know all this beforehand, that is why I am here. Then you can make a more informed choice than I did.
I have rarely been treated as badly as at NCOI. I have now completed my education, so this is no resentment.
My teacher for the 2nd part of my training had only checked 2 of the 6 lessons when I had to hand in my final assignment, so I had no use in terms of feedback. But the most frustrating thing was the examiner. After having received a 5 for my final assignment, I asked for substantive feedback so that I knew where to improve my assignment, this question ended up with the examiner 1.5 weeks after the first result. The examiner found that there was too much time to give an adequate answer, so I did not receive any feedback. In the end I made it, but not thanks to, but despite the NCOI.
I want to follow home courses and training in the future, but I will certainly not do that again at the NCOI.
Communication with NCOI is a drama. A lot of mistakes are made. Even my diploma contains errors and is incomplete. I do not recommend following a course here.
Very unprofessional. I signed up for a course in the summer and canceled it one month later by e-mail. Then in December I receive an invoice for the training that I canceled. So I call customer service with my story and I am told in a very rude way that I have to pay these costs because they have incurred administrative costs, which is not my fault. Administrative costs of 600 euros? I think it is very much for unfinished and also canceled registration. I find this outrageous. Certainly now that I read in the Google comments that it often goes wrong with the administration. Then the customer service representative says that I had to make a print screen of my mail. I don't even know what that is or how it should be done and before I could ask him what it was at all, I was again very rude told that he is disconnecting because there are more people on hold. I would therefore like to get in touch with someone from this organization who is prepared to solve this.
Edit- the training only starts in November so my cancellation was well on time, I also heard from the customer service representative that my cancellation was not in their system
Just a reply to the persistent advertising on Flemish radio. 7x "NCOI advertising does not want to" "NCOI advertising does not want to" "NCOI advertising does not want to" "NCOI advertising does not want to" "NCOI advertising does not want to" "NCOI advertising does not want to" "NCOI advertising does not want to"
And then again "NCOI advertising does not want" --- "HA"
In the middle of 2019 I started with the HBO assistant controller course. When the first module was completed, the second module was postponed due to too few registrations. The second module would be annual accounts according to the brochure and which I registered for, but later it turned out that you have adjusted this to Business Administration and financial statements. This is not what I signed up for. There was nothing to do but stop the training.
From December I am already working on getting part of my study costs back. You change the modules halfway through my education and then I have been waiting for my money for almost half a year.
This is outrageous, this is a small administrative process and I therefore do not understand why this should take so long.
Never starting is just a commercial company that wants to make money easily. As a result, they do not see that they should help students. Cross trees and contradictions.
Bad experience with NCOI. I am following a course and had deliberately purchased this from the NCOI because NCOI indicates that it gives classes on location. End position, therefore, no 1 module can be followed on location because there are too few registrations. You actually have no choice but to follow these modules via e-learning. Or rather a home study. If you indicate that this is not the way you want to study, you get a blunt answer on the phone that they cannot change anything about this and that they do not put a teacher on location for a few students. The moment I submit a complaint I am told that they have already covered everything in their terms and conditions. Why is it stated during registration that you CAN receive classes on location? It is not indicated anywhere that there is a chance that the modules cannot continue due to i.m. too few registrations. Afterwards this appears to be in very small print in the terms and conditions !! Also the costs paid for lessons on location are not properly reimbursed by NCOI. Here you have to call at the end and arrange it yourself while the NCOI really does not keep their appointments! Bad very bad !! I will therefore not really recommend the NCOI to anyone !!
I am working on a HBO TB, which is a modular course, so you hardly have the same students in the class. Other students who also happen to have that subject are therefore in your class, so you do not have a study buddy. The re-exams are expensive now, I think 195 euros an objection costs 50 euros if not right. said to me. I think exams are very heavily checked, because lowering someone to a 5.4 is acidic, then give a 5.0 or that 0.1, but okay you can find something of that. I have personally experienced an objection where three questions were NOT answered because the teaching material was not given. Very bad you wouldn't have seen it, again 195 euros. Furthermore, the exam assignment is not checked in accordance with certain requirements. I had made an exam assignment, writing a plan of action (my plan of action on my subject so few references) I get a 5 ok can happen plan was not too good I went for a 6 .. When I did my best by applying the process of the book. I have applied two source references there, after all it is my plan of action again a 5 with the message you have not used enough source references. So a nicer PVA and another 5 that is never possible! In contrast, I had to write a PVA for another module there, I get an 8 while I have gone through the same process steps, and I only had 1 source mention. How?? The teachers are self-employed. I can still write a book about the NCOI ps NTI, Scheidegger, Schoevers all the same owner, so no better either !!
My advice GO TO A REAL HIGH SCHOOL !!! and it is cheaper !!
You are very unfair. Apparently I was 4 days late to cancel the training after I registered for the pedagogical employee training in May, which in my opinion is quite expensive at around 3,900 for a 1-year course. Now I still have to pay 239 in cancellation costs while the training only starts in September and it is now May. I think the reflection time is too short and the costs for canceling too high.
I am not writing the bad online review but now I make an exception. What a bad educational institution you are not helped at all and they are only making money. Very disappointed in this organization and how they handle complaints.
Enrolled on time for a study program. Registration is nicely confirmed. Invoicing is arranged. And then you will not hear anything for a long time. Until I contact myself because the start date of the training is already over 2 days. NCOI calls back that there is a change, the training in the chosen form does not take place, there is no invoicing, under the argument of "this is how we work here at NCOI". Unfortunately. NCOI, 'how high do you set the bar' when it comes to customer-oriented work? Probably it is a threshold .......
I am following a bachelor's degree at NCOI. I have been working on this for quite some time and have also had a lot of contact with the NCOI. The bottom line is that as a student you have to take matters into your own hands when planning the study. They do not come here themselves. You can (re) plan the modules together with your study advisor, but do this on time. Unfortunately, the teachers who were really good can be counted on one hand. This therefore also has an effect on the assessment of the assignments and thus the grade. The knowledge of the study advisers is also very variable, so the answer received may not be correct. It would be nice if a study advisor can unburden you during your studies instead of taking care of even more administrative tasks. I give the NCOI 1 star, other trainers are more involved and have more empathy towards students, I also think that the price / quality ratio is not right. The other star is for the few good and committed teachers.
Very disappointing, very unprofessional and very, very unfriendly.
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend a lesson during the correct Dutch course due to private circumstances. I have clearly indicated this to the service department with the idea that I can catch up with a lesson somewhere before my exam.
Here I found out that the NCOI has no interest at all in helping students further, it is only about money. You would expect customer service to think along with you to look for a solution. Unfortunately, the answer was we are not prepared to, maybe the other students have some notes for you that were made during class.
I really hope people will read this review and make a good decision.
My advice stay far away from this disaster organization. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------
* Response to owner *,
You should really stop abusing the Dutch language, see below.
"For this reason, we can no longer offer you an opportunity to make up for the missed meeting."
You can do this but are not prepared to do this. Just put that down ...
But thanks for the response, the whole internet can see how you treat customers.
Again my advice stay far away from this disaster organization.
Everything has to be done via their surface, except for scheduling modules. The latter is very confused and slow and there is nowhere a clear overview. I have now paid 3 times for the same module, now about 7,000 for a 1-year course.
Badly arranged company. more than 7000 euros will be deposited for my training but the service is hard to find. It is suggested that assignments are not submitted to be able to ask for even more money. Numbers remain while exams have been taken. Far too much money for such a scant training where no effort is shown in the students. It is only about raking money.
Last year I completed the full HBO Management course at NCOI. The lessons were generally fascinating and sometimes inspiring, brought by experienced teachers who work or have worked in the relevant field. A single teacher was so intelligent that he knew the material well, but was unable to convey it to the students.
The feedback (teacher following an assignment or exam, module, script) sometimes takes a long time (1-2 weeks). In a few cases, the feedback was limited and you could not use it that much, in general it was sufficient to continue.
The teaching material is clear and well-organized. The NCOI clearly states what is required of you and how you can build it. Except for 1 module, I was able to follow all the lessons except for the course I indicated.
The re-exams are expensive and I have sometimes questioned the real need for a re-exam. But ... In addition to a family and a full-time job, this training was fine with one evening a week to school and the rest self-study. It takes perseverance to do such training. At the Hogeschool I had to go to school 2 evenings a week and learn on top of that. You have to make the choice that suits you best. For me, this was successful. I am now considering taking a master's degree at NCOI because I liked it during my first study.
Employees on the phone are generally cautious and live up to their commitments. I generally found it very long to wait 4 weeks for a grade, but that was up to me ;-). Recommended!
This is a red flag. Never do an education here. You can get nines and tens continuously, but this doesn't matter. Your final assignment, on which you work for months, gets a big fail with extremely meager comments that you cannot use. Completely beyond credibility. In case of a reassessment, they are happy to give an even lower mark. This costs you money and is assessed internally, to their advantage of course. STAY AWAY. This organization has no right to exist.
Very bad company. Never give your details here because they (despite the offer of legal studies) have no right to be forgotten. If you notice from them that everything has been deleted, you will receive an email again the next day. Now there is no response at all to my complaint. Worthless!
Advertise with opportunities for evenings and weekends in the own region. But once the training has been completed and paid for, these options have never been found. I signed up for an evening course in Almere and am casually referred to Utrecht Eindhoven and Rotterdam during the day. During the three-year course, only the first year could occasionally take place in the Evening in Amsterdam.
According to the NCOI, the conditions state that they may adjust location and time. And otherwise you can always do the home study, but you can of course forget about money back.
I recently started a Masters study. So far my experiences have been positive. The online environment works very well and if you have a question it will be answered quickly. I have also received the books. I am so positive.
MEGA bad customer service problems from the first month. The people at NCOI themselves know nothing about the training courses, they respond late and send you in all directions except the right one. Due to corona my last day of class has been canceled (in March). Unfortunately now in November I still had no lesson, not even virtual and I have already been thinking for 8 months that I want the lesson. And then I got Personal guidance for 2 hours. Where no teaching material was taught. After this I asked when I could take my class so that I can finish my exam and get rid of them. I got the answer that I was no longer entitled to this, even though I have already paid for my entire education! This attitude gives me nothing but a LOT of stress.
There are also errors in the exams, so this is really not possible. And of the 3 teachers, 1 was very bad. INADVISABLE
Worthless training center! You will be put to self-study without mercy while you register for a classroom training. That is why you want to stop the training because they do not live up to their word, you are sent from the cupboard to the wall and they do not respond to your request! So never start a study here !!
Very bad experience. Exam is delayed for 1.5 months. Was wrong on the exam online. Could not login. Promises to get a rash in 4 weeks, now it's been almost 6 weeks, still no info. Problems with practice. Could not upload attendance list, therefore in system as failed .. In other words, never start ... This is about PIT3 course, process automation.
I have been busy getting the education of the NCOI done. They have helped and advised me enormously on this. Just after I received my login data from e-Connect / two days before the start of my training, there was a multi-day failure of e-Connect. I received the information by e-mail and I knew where to go and what to prepare. Big thanks for that for the entire team.
Unfortunately already registered, but what a dramatic organization. Hardly being able to get in touch with customer service or study coach. Think very carefully before you start here.
Great training with good curriculum / books and ditto teacher.
The administrative settlement, however, is moderate. NCOI has independently devised to adjust my billing address. To then send me a form to have the address adjusted again (?!). The administrative and email handling had a long lead time.
The locations is also such a thing: can be in Amsterdam, eventually Utrecht. There nice and centrally located location with very good lunch and coffee.
Opaque assessment methodology, anonymous / impersonal / unsubstantiated assessment and an inaccessible objection procedure mean that I would not recommend this institute for a course!
A 1.9 out of 5 stars says it all, of course. NCOI should be quite ashamed of its reputation. It is poorly organized, things are not (well) documented, feedback is too late and in some cases even useless and to top it off you can also find an unprofessional teacher who takes pleasure in people and plain audiences to take care of and treat as a child of 4. I got my piece of paper and am now pursuing further education, but of course not at the NCOI. Never again. Might as well have thrown my hard-earned money into the canal.
Find out for yourself that a module will not go ahead without NCOI reporting. After contacting, the story is reversed that they are waiting for my choice Whether e-learning or waiting a year until the end of September 2018 and the module will still be given with sufficient registration, but they cannot provide certainty and another location in the Netherlands was also not possible because it was canceled everywhere.
Another module according to was not possible, study switching not possible, canceling not possible yes very annoying madam but many modules are only given once a year
Very bad. The big suit the pay show. Enrolled in 2016 for a 4-day course on location with a teacher of around 3,000. The location was canceled, so I used an e-Learning variant assuming that this would be something interactive with fellow students and teachers. In e-Learning form it was something of a 100 cheaper. So I expected some involvement from a teacher on those e-Learning days. Not so, at NCOI e-Learning includes sending you 3 books with a value of 150. Then you get access to a set of pre-set questions where you are always asked to submit a word document between 1 & 4 pages based on what is in the books, other articles that are available online or questions such as' Watch the youtube film below ". You will receive feedback from the teacher in 2 to 4 sentences within 1 to 2 weeks. Organization: one of the e-Learning sessions was even a Saturday, n / a 31/12, so people do something in the area of planning. The exam was to draw up a 20-page practical plan that you can have the teacher review. Again 5 lines of feedback. This is then assessed by an 'external assessor' whose identity is not disclosed. If you fail, an additional re-exam is an option. All in all, an expensive joke and not to be taken seriously.
I am following a training nurse IG, I like it very much. However, I can also find myself in some frustration regarding administrative settlements. But on the other hand, I have also experienced that people think with the heart and not with the stock market. I am happy with the training!
I followed an MBO and a HBO study at NCOI. They promise a lot, but cannot deliver much. There is often no question of classroom training. In addition, guidance is very hard to find and at NCOI you are not a student but a product where NCOI tries to get the maximum profit. Some examples:
The examination regulations have been changed regarding the inspection of exams. Previously, the exams and answers were posted on e-connect the week after the exam. Now you have to register for a viewing time (during office hours) in Hilversum. They will not come to the working Netherlands. According to NCOI, they have had requests from several students for this method of inspection. I haven't come across one in 9 years of studying at NCOI.
In addition, costs are charged for submitting an objection. These costs will only be charged when the objection is well-founded. However, this is often so subjective that it has often happened that the Board of Examiners came up with a nonsensical answer that did not get off the ground, which you had to do with as a student.
You get 3 options for each exam. If you fail in these 3 options, you have to redo the entire module. For written exams this was only possible on prescribed dates. However, if it is not possible to participate for any personal reason, this option will lapse. That's where my vacation went.
When you register for a resit of a digital exam, it must be scheduled within 6 weeks after the application. If you already have other modules running, then you are out of luck. Resit opportunity and money gone.
Even more misery starts when writing the thesis. Again, I do not think that this is corrected objectively. In my case, the research proposal was not approved. For this I received feedback with points for improvement. After adjusting these points and submitting a corrected version, it was again not approved. Improvement points were already given that were already in the 1st version. This is mopping with the tap open, but there is no point in making a complaint here.
If you have to retake your thesis, you must purchase new supervision hours. Even if you did not use any of the original guidance hours. These may not be included in a resit.
It has happened that the thesis supervisor had approved the thesis in order to defend it. Subsequently, 3 other assessors came to the same conclusion. However, NCOI found it necessary to appoint a new assessor who did not approve the thesis. Therefore, the thesis had to be retaken (with the purchase of new supervision hours).
From teachers to decision they have been told that they are not allowed to have personal contact with students. The student has to make do with the classroom lessons (if they even go ahead). If additional contact is required, the student must pay for it.
When you have finally successfully defended your thesis, you are not yet rid of misery. To get a diploma you must first request all certificates from the examination committee of the obtained modules and then send them back to the examination committee! When I requested the certificates, I did not receive all certificates at the time. The certificates that were obtained in the old program (The program has been accredited in the meantime, as a result of which 2 courses were created, as it were. One before accreditation and one after accreditation) could be requested using an application form. Costs 50 per certificate.
I'm glad I have nothing to do with these money wolves anymore.
N.a.v. response below. I don't feel like getting in touch yet. The points I indicated above have already been raised when they took place. Then nothing was done with it and that will not happen with this facade.
