Service department at Motion Kia in Hacketstwn was quick, efficient and personable. I recommend asking for Todd Gaba. Before purchasing our Sorento we went to 2 other locations. We were acceptionally pleased with sales there too. The car is excellent. We've owned and own a number of vehicles including BMW, Audi, Toyota and this car is a great value and lacks nothing.

Do not recommend that you use this dealership. Had a terrible experience here. I tried to return my END of lease KIA here and they flatly refused to take it telling me they are independently owned when I pointed out that they are a KIA dealership and my vehicle is a KIA. My lease ended the same week that I was here - they told me to go to the dealership I leased from which I told them is closed & sold that dealership was Sussex KIA. Shame on MOTION KIA very very poor customer service.
We had many problems, they are rude on the phone and do not know what is going on. It takes many phone calls and many days of the run around to get anything taken care of.
Motion Kia made it SO easy to get my new (used) car! Ashley was super helpful throughout the selection process, and was able to answer all of my questions on the test-drive. She explained all the features and functions that were brand new to me since I was upgrading from an '06 Honda. Mike and Orlando made the financing and paperwork a breeze, and before I knew it, I was driving out of there after no more than an hour and 45 minutes. No pressure, no games, just a team of people who wanted me to get a great deal and leave happy. Thanks Motion!
If I could give more stars, I would! I was referred to Bob Lizanich in 2014 when I bought my very first brand new Kia Forte. He made me feel so confident and relaxed about buying my first car. He answered every question I had and I left happy. Fast forward to today and Steve Mattison has helped me so much and in the same way Bob did. I left the dealership with my second car and even more of a loyalty to Motion Kia. The staff is super courteous and they truly care about their customers. The finance manager lied right to my face when he told they do soft pulls just to see where they are at. That night, I received a credit card alert about a hard pull. Don't appreciate being lied too.

Motion Kia by far has some of the best lease prices around. There are no games. They are straight forward and work really hard to make the customer happy. It was a pleasure to work with Steve Mattison. I would absolutely recommend him to friends and family.
The service department is not honoring auto sports free oil changes. They also got rid of their coffee machine and replaced it with an old school one that didn t have any coffee made at 8 am. The phone rings constantly and loudly and their WiFi is not operational. Not the customer experience during waiting for service that I had learned to expect through auto sport. Let s hope with time they improve.

Accessory Rip Off. I called to have get a price for installation of the OEM Kia remote start. They quoted me $946. That is over $200 more than any other dealership. When I asked them to confirm the price because they were so much more expensive, I got hung up on.
Purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Sedona about one month ago.
- Salesman Connor was nice to work with. - Prices posted are misleading, particularly with CPO vehicles. The cars are CPO Eligible and they will tack on $1500 to certify the car. - CPO vehicles are supposed to go through 164 point inspection. Mine apparently did not. Within a day I had to replace a rear turn signal bulb that was out when I bought it. When I took off the lens it was filled to the brim with water. - Days later I discovered the 12V power port in the middle console did not work. Had to replace a fuse. - Clearly the CPO checklist was not followed. - I emailed the General Manager, Bob, who has not called or emailed back in what is now several weeks later. - I receive regular emails from Bob telling me how service is their top priority. - They gave me a free oil change coupon. I don t intend to use it. Not when the service team can t ID a busted rear turn signal and power port that has no power.
Will be my first and last dealing with Motion Kia.
I love the service work they do here! There was a issue with my car and they took very good care of me and got my car fixed asap! Highly recommended! I want to update this review because it's about 2 1/2 years later and this place still does a fantastic job! I was dealing with family Ford to possibly do a trade in and they made it the most horrible experience ever. I came back to Kia and it was such a smooth comfortable process and they gave me the best deal possible and got me lol into a certified preowned Optima. Which I love! I will always highly reccomend motion Kia because of their amazing work, they make you feel at home and its like family. Excellent customer service!
Great cars, but the service dept is a ripoff. I walked in for an oil change and they told me I needed brakes done ASAP, and if I had them done in the next 2 or 3 weeks it would cost $200, but if I waited longer then that the cost would raise to over $500. Thankfully I never had them done, because 6 months later during my cars inspection, I was told my brakes were fine and had a least another year to go before being serviced. Unfortunately that wasn't an isolated case. You never walk in there for an oil change without them hitting you up for some other unneeded work. It's a shame too, because I love the cars. The service dept however, not so much!

Buying a car at Motion Kia is like buying a car from family. We have purchased three cars from Motion and the process has always been fair. It doesn't end with the sale as they have taken care of servicing our vehicles when needed. Sales, service and being treated like family a perfect combination.
Let me begin by saying that I had already negotiated a great price and put a down payment on a car at another dealer but Motion had 1 of only 2 cars in the tri state that was the color, trim and package I wanted. So 60 miles away and countless closer dealers to my house I picked up the phone on a Tuesday morning. Jeff Sanchez answered. Pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to negotiate over the phone. Within a few phone calls to confirm the car was still available and a quick price negotiation, we had a verbal agreement that we would speak again on Thursday as Jeff had Wednesday off. Thursday morning we began talking again. I spoke to Jeff and Orlando. Orlando was also a class act. Jeff then arranged to have one of the service guys drive to my house to pick me up. Rich the driver was great. I got to the dealer and the car was right up front. Went in and introduced myself to Jeff and then Kevin the finance guy. He was also a pleasure to deal with. What can I say, a little over 48 hours and the car was in my driveway. Great experience overall. I can't speak for anyone else's experience but mine was fantastic. Highly recommend Jeff and all the people at Motion.

I have now purchased 3 cars from Motion Kia. Howie is my go to salesman at motion Kia. He is very cautious and has made my three purchases a great experience. My most recent purchase was a 2020 Telluride SX. Amazing vehicle and Howie contacted me immediately and thanks to his customer service I was able to get this car which is on a waiting list. The prices are competitive and my buying experience is under an hour in and out. I will continue to purchase my cars from Motion Kia.
Went for a scheduled test drive for the Kia Stinger and was told that I can not test drive the car because I am not looking to buy a car today and I mentioned I would be paying cash in a few months if I like the car. Strongly don t recommend this dealership. After reading other comments as well I see there have been other people who have gone through the similar experience. These are scam artists. I do believe that I would have been able to test drive the car if I mentioned I d be financing the car in a few months rather than pay cash. Dealerships make all they re money in the finance office and because they know they can t use that against me they wouldn t let me test drive.
By far the BEST dealership and NICEST salesmen. Howie and Motion kia gave me the best deal all while making me feel confident and comfortable with my first lease. I have been going to 100 different dealerships to try and find a good "First New Car". Because I am a college student, I needed something that I could afford. I visited Honda, Hyundai, ford, and Jeep and not one of them tried to work with me when I told them my budget. I then found myself at a different kia. Here the numbers never stayed the same, the starting price of the base cars was much more then what is online, and the numbers I was given NEVER added up. I called Motion kia just to get a quote and Howie picked up. I can not say enough good things about him. He gave me a fast quote over the phone (Because he knew I didn't live close). I came in the next day, test drove the EXACT car that I would later buy (no "bate and switch"). Before I even pulled out of the lot during the test drive Howie explained all the features and buttons that the car had. Then we sat down and went through all the different numbers (what it meant, where is was coming from and why) and different options. He then gave me a paper to take home (this was STRICTLY prohibited in the other dealerships) with all the numbers so I can discuss it with my family. It didn't take me long to decide that I was going to lease their car. When I went in to sign the papers and get the car the financial guy sat with me and explained everything until I understood where every number was coming from and why. AFTER everything was signed and the car was now mine, HOWIE came outside with me and again sat in the car for 30+ minutes to make sure I understood how every button, knob and switch worked. I never once felt like I was getting taken advantage of or nervous to ask a question. The whole time I truly felt like he had my best interests at heart.
I also wanted to add that I stupidly left some stuff in my car that I traded in and Howie went the extra mile to retrieve it from the lot and place it in a box for me to get when I could. This is my first time doing business with a car dealership, but I don't know if every salesmen would do that.

I want to try to warn potential customers of Motion Kia to stay away and go to another Kia dealership.
I have never done this before but I wanted to publicly condemn Motion Kia for their hideous customer service and inability to put the customers first. After purchasing a BRAND NEW car from them their detailer gave it to me with scratches, paint chips, a scratched wheel and the wrong color touch up paint on one of the doors. They tried to give me a damaged car but luckily I caught it and have all of this in writing acknowledging this was their fault. They have made me jump through hoops, and even cancelled 3 appointments for me to bring it in to get it fixed. It even sat there for 5 hours once, untouched. (It is still not fixed after one month!!!). No wonder why they have a 1 star rating on yelp.
General Manager is rude and condescending treating customers like they are trash. Does not care about customer loyalty, or happiness. I will be servicing my vehicle at Gateway Kia in Denville, and encourage everyone to NOT shop at Motion for their Kia. There are many other dealerships in town willing to go above and beyond to earn your business, Motion simply does not care. I have heard many horror stories but chose to give them a try since they are so close. I have never posted anything like this in a group before but really want to warn everyone about the lack of quality this Kia dealership provides and to hopefully stop people from getting screwed over as I have.
Motion Kia has not even made the payoff of my old car yet which will result in my credit report showing a failed payment, ugh!

I had my 12 kia optima engine go, payed a tow to my shop, then my shop said hey your starter went let us replace it, I said sure a day later thinking about the recall, then paid another tow to have it brought to this location and the starter, was Approved for new engine... Payed out of pocket for my own Loaner, dealership had nne available an d stated I will get my money back all of it. NOW kia consumer and motion have been beating around the bush and near avoiding me to pay me back, but the consumer affairs lady mentioned the dealership was approved and received their money back this is absolutley rediculous.
I wish I had read the reviews before buying a car here. I bought a used car from Steve who couldn t have been nicer when we were purchasing the car, and then when we had problems with the car, he (and his manager) pretty much told us too bad . It was a 2016 Ford Fiesta which we bought 6 months ago. I thought the brakes did not feel right to me, and Steve assured me that they put on NEW BRAKES. My son had to have the tire changed recently and lo and behold, the brake pads and the rotors needed to be replaced! My son was close to a point of having no brakes and we would have never known if he didn t have to have the tire replaced. When we called the dealer, Steve said that he never said that they were new, but that there were 5mm on the brake pads. Then the manager told us there was 8mm. So we were told 3 different things but after only 6 months of driving back and forth to high school 10 mins away as well as to local friends houses, the brakes were completely worn down. The mechanic told us that they were the original brakes and must have been in bad shape when we bought the car. Please read other reviews about how shady and untrustworthy both sales and repair departments are at this dealership. BTW, they added 3000 + miles to the actual mileage when we bought the car. BUYER BEEARE!

I did not, and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND shopping for a car here thanks to the sales manager Robert Lizanich. I had an overall fantastic experience with Andy Kamaris. Andy knew the in's and out's of the Kia Optima I test drove and was very informative. He was also very polite, friendly, and an overall nice guy. Robert Lizanich, however, is the one who screwed Andy and his team of salesmen out of a sale. When I told Andy I would like some time to think it over, Robert came over and started acting extremely pushy. He asked me several times, "What is there to think about? How can we get this done today?". I also did not appreciate his cocky, pushy attitude. He then started to raise his voice over me, and now several employees and customers inside the dealership were starting to notice. Then, Robert told me to name a price that I would take the car for right then and there, but the car was already priced $2,000 LESS than what I told them my budget was. The price was not the problem; I had many things to think over before committing myself to a car. He finally said he didn't want to argue, however, he was the one who came over and tried to bully me into a car.
I absolutely loved the car I test drove and I thought it was very fairly priced. I even considered paying cash for the car. But after such a bad experience why on earth why I buy a car from this guy knowing there are 10 other cars just like it down the road? Well, I in fact did purchase a Kia Optima the following day (1 level lower trim, I didn't need the back-up camera), less miles, same year, same price.
Robert, the days of high pressure, bully tactic car sales are over. The information on price and options is WIDELY available (you said it yourself). Not to mention I can shop for thousands of Kia Optima's online. You're not selling Porsches or Ferraris; the cars on your lot are not unique in any way. So bullying people into a family sedan is probably not the best sale's approach; especially when I can literally drive a few miles down the road and test drive the same exact car. How about friendly customer-service and provide a good shopping experience so they don't take their business else where?

Stopped in to look at a Jeep. I told them I did not want my credit pulled and they assured me that they would not. After reviewing my credit on CreditKarma I saw that they pulled a hard inquiry. That is horrible business practice and would not recommend them to anyone.
Excellent service. Listened to what my car needs were, offered some options and found a car for me quickly. It was ready for pick up the next afternoon.
I recently purchased a 2017 Kia Soul and had the best buying experience ever. My sales person Bob Nunn was fantastic and listened to all my wants and needs and gave me 3 options to choose from. Also working with Mike for financing was fantastic. With his relationships with the banks they work with, he was able to get me to my target monthly payment. Motion also offers tires for life if you have all your maintenance done at the dealership. I am now a raving Motion Kia fan!
Avoid, I was unhappy with the way that my lease end and subsequent purchase was handled. Reached out to them three times to request a manager respond and nothing but crickets....their customer service is atrocious. I will take my future business elsewhere
Dishonest sales tactics. Will add BS fee to make your trade look good. The vehicle I came to look at was being used personally by the manager. Kids car set and personal items inside, and car was dirty. I am glad I walked out and drove to a more reputable dealer to purchase. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I have never felt satisfied purchasing anything from a dealership until my experience at Motion Kia and they now have a loyal customer. My team was; Sal, Ernell, and Orlando whom all have delivered impeccable customer service beyond anything you would expect from a dealer. I would not hesitate to recommend Motion Kia to anybody. If your in the market for a vehicle this should be one of your places to check. Even after my purchase was done. I've had to come back for multiple reasons. They all welcome me by name and still talk to me the same way they did day one. They really do treat you like family. Thank you guys.

Went in to test drive a Stinger. Before even going to get the car, they required me to provide trade in and financing information to check my credit. I wasn t even sure if I liked the car yet, let alone buy it. I wasn t even greeted at the door; the salesmen were all watching TV.
If you re in the market for a Stinger, look elsewhere.
Everyone involved in the sale of my car were very helpful. I actually kept seeing adds on Facebook. 1 from Lehighton KIA and 1 from Motion KIA I know buying a vehicle can be a long process I sent Lehighton kia a message first asking if they could run my credit gave them a stock number and they wouldn't even try they just said I have to come in. So I than messaged the guys at Motion KIA saying the same thing and they were more than happy to help. A couple emails than a phone call asking when I was coming in to pick up my new car. I was so happy and pleased with the staff there. My fiance is in a lease right now which ends next year you can bet we will be going back to Motion kia for her next car!
This was the EASIEST process ever while buying a car. Usually buying a car takes all day and it's a dreadful process. This was nothing like that! I contacted Howie for a price on the car I ended up buying and he provided me the price and a break down of all payment options. I went in for a test drive and NOTHING changed. The price was the same as quoted, the payment options were the same and I was out of there in about 2 hours including a test drive and leaving for a few to run and drop off my car I drove to the dealer. They are honest people and made this process so easy! Thank you for all of your help, I can't recommend them enough!

I would not recommend this dealership. My husband and I drove 45 minutes to test drive a Kia Stinger and Connor Nicholas was unbelievably rude. We went inside and met with him to speak about the car we were test driving. We had mentioned that we were not looking to purchase today but to test one of the bigger options on our list of cars we like. Connor became very disrespectful and told us that he could not let us test drive any vehicles if we weren t planning on buying that very second. He told us You have me on a very busy Saturday and you are wasting my time. Keep in mind that there was one other customer in the room. It was not busy. He was just very rude and had us leave after not even five minutes in the building because we were not looking to throw money at a car we hadn t even known if we liked yet.
On October 26th I purchased a used 2016 Kia Sportage from here and they were very fair and nice people. Maria let me take the vehicle for a test drive and it handled great and I could tell they just put brand new brakes on the car. I just wanted to thank Maria for being an all star sales rep, very down to earth and no pressure at all she was fantastic. Mike also was really nice and unlike other places I was able to make my purchase quick and no pressure it took about 30-45 mins that s including the test drive and they detailed the car for me and I was already driving back home. I still need to get the car inspected in PA, but I feel it will have zero problems as the car was very well maintained and had exceptional service records. Overall I would say my experience was a very good experience and I will be coming back. Three great things about Maria and Mike were that they were professional, easy to work with, and very kind. The service level and support at this Kia dealer is amazing. From the same day purchase of both my Kia vehicles to the present I have experienced nothing but valued customer service from the sales team to the service team. I am glad to be member of the Kia family.
Very unhappy with this place. We had our hearts set on the new telluride and had put a deposit down on a car for them to have it ordered. When we go to finalize the sale they completely changed the price because the package that was going on when we put the deposit down was no longer eligible. After going through the sales process the guy selling us the car told us the first payment is included only to find out from the accountant that it is not. So that was an extra 250+ added on. After getting the car and trading in my lease, they tell me they will handle my old lease so I thought great nothing to worry about . After getting phone calls and emails from the previous leasing company I find out they never sent the check and the previous leasing company is trying to charge me for late fees. I had to call Kia to get them to send a check. Once that was resolved I realized my temporary tag was expired. I had to pick up a new temp tag which isn t a big deal until we get closer to the new expiration of the temp tags and it s an unorganized mess to contact someone about it. They told me they d call me back, never did. I called the next day and they told me I had picked up the plates already?? Uh nope. Finally fed up we went in to talk to them and they had no answer for us. One guy assured us the plates would be in in a few days. A Few days passed and my second temporary tag expired. I called them and they said they were in and I could pick them up. Why wouldnt they call me to tell me they were in? I m just supposed to guess? Such an unorganized and frustrating experience.
Incredibly unhappy with service. The man that works in service has no clue what customer service is. It is pouring out and I see him sitting at his desk but he will not unlock the doors to let me in? The hours say your open. Further, he then acts like I am bothering him when he talks to me about my car. Isn't this your job? I am incredibly disappointed with the last experience as it was actually rude. I will be not be coming back.
First time and last time at this dealership. I went in for a oil change and a recall on a kia sportage. They talk me into a $599.00 60,000 mile service. I asked them to look at 2 things that werent working to see if they were under warranty. They had the nerve to charge me an additional $112 . I let them know that was ridiculous and they still charged me. Stay away from this dealership.
Salesman was gracious enough to stay after hours (9-10pm) for me when I couldnt make my original appointment. Car was just as pictured although there was a lot of water in the tail light (which Steve reassured me could be replaced for $45.....soo why not replace it before selling to me lol?). If you get a PREAPPROVED quote online, dont expect them to honor it. Including taxes, tags, and registration, my quote was about $230 a month for 60 months with 4.4 or 4.9 apr. Steve thought he made the sale and was hype before even talking about money and I didnt ask because I assumed the quote I received on THEIR website was what I d be paying. Well they offered me $280-something a month for 6 years and I was like nope. Not doing it. Then the BEST they could offer me after I was going to leave was $241 for 60 months with a 6.99%. I told him I was going to my bank for the loan and I ll come back bc I know they have a 3.9% apr. He said that wasnt possible, his deal was the best one I ll get, that he s been in the industry 15 plus years blah blah. Then the salesman cried that I waited until 10pm to tell him I wasn t getting the car and he stayed for nothing. Obviously didn t care about me getting a good deal. Well yesterday I went and got that 3.99% apr loan from my bank and I will be going ELSEWHERE with it. It sucks because I LOVED the car after taking it for a test drive but nah thanks for nothing! All you will find here is washed up salesmen with pathetic pressure tactics lol better luck elsewhere

Love this dealership! Great customer service. Howie was wonderful salesmen, easy to communicate with and very knowledgeable about features ect. Showed me how everything works. Parts and service are tops too! Easy to schedule appointment on line or call and they are so helpful.
I just walked out not because of a price I wasn't happy with but because Steve Mattison was rude and condescending. Twice he did this the first time I asked to try out a feature on a car and with no explanation at the time just said "uh no we can't" come to find out we would of had to drive 3 more miles to a faster speed limit road to do so. Second on price negotiations he was condescending and arrogant on what he could get for the car (full MSRP) pointing to the price on the sticker when I asked what I would be paying saying "uh this price right here" at which time I just got up and walked out. Kia you make nice cars but you should get better salesmen! I'll take my business elsewhere. Call me when this guy is gone and I'll come buy a car from you @motionkia
This service department is the worst I've ever seen, I've dealt with this dishonesty with the service manager as well as a service employee. They don't seem to care about you it'seems all about money and manipulating customers, they told me I said something that I did not say just because they fixed and charged me for something that did not need to be fixed. My best advice to you is to go elsewhere.
Service department is a rip off and rude. Tried charging my wife $200 for a semi synthetic oil change, air filter replacement and multi point inspection on a 15k mile car. When I was trying to explain to my wife this was too expensive Ceda an employee was continuously talking over me. I asked her to please give me a minute she scoffed at me. Then on the way out she had the audacity to tell me I was rude. This is probably because I cost her a big commission on my wife. (Yes service people make commission I have a friend who does this) Waited 10 minutes to talk to manager Dave who never showed. Guess he was too afraid to handle a customer complaint. Wont ever service or buy a car from here again
