I was ROBBED at the Miramonte Resort in Spa on December, 30th 2013. Someone got inside my Hotel room and stole my purse.
I was at the room 503, building 5. My husband and I were having dinner at the restaurant at that resort and when we came back to the room, my purse was GONE!
There are no cameras on the parking lot, no cameras outside of the rooms on the ground floor, no security person at all .
Then, I found down later reading the reviews on TripAdvisor that I wasn't the first person to be robbed at that resort!
i WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THE MIRAMONTE RESORT AND SPA TO ANYONE!

Excellent location.

Excellent location.
We were in a pool side suite with a small patio. Our room was comfortable and clean. They lose a star because some of the furniture was damaged. Replace or repair.
Ate brunch at the restaurant both days and we enjoyed the food. Above average but not spectacular.
We spend sometime at the pool on Saturday and the pool bar tenders were great. Nice pool plenty of umbrellas and it wasn't overcrowded.
The best part were the staff members. Everyone was polite, helpful and seemed to genuinely want to make you happy.
Oh our 9 month old loved it.
We will be back.

I was here for a photoshoot. The hotel has an odd layout that seems disconnected in a way. Could use a remodel. In spite of all the confusing walkways and hotel layout the resort was clean and maintained in an asthetic that was pleasing. I liked the giant outdoor firepit and the outdoor alfresco dinning space which is part of the desert lifestyle. Finally, there's a parking problem here. Limited parking with overflow parking next door in a gravel lot.

Staff was very friendly and helpful when I gave them a chance
.
Room was average, my room bathroom had half finished repairs and the toilet requred multiple flushes to empty even just fluids and often ran constantly. Refrigerator made an annoying humming noise constantly, I had to unplug to get it to stop. I probably should have just asked for a different room. But that meant walking the 3 minute walk back to accross the grounds to the front desk and 3 minutes back to my room and packing up to move who knows where on the spread out grounds etc.. I decided it was just easier to unplug thr refrigerator and flush as many times as necessary to clear bowl and get tank to stop running.

The resort is not close to anything. So if you don't have a vehicle you need to get a cab or Lyft to even get something from a convenience store or a restaurant off property. Minimum mile and half walk to anything.

Fortunately, food on property was very good but pricy.

Exceeding 30 years, I have lived only a few miles from the Mira Monte, and when family or friends visit, I often recommend this resort. Several times, I have joined them by staying at the Mira Monte, and feel very competent to write a review. The grounds are exquisite. The location is second to none. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and always available. The rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable, and bathrooms are large. The restaurant and room service menu offer a variety of health conscious choices catering to wellness. Speaking of wellness, The "Well" located in the middle of the property is Mira Monte's signature spa offering treatments and services difficult to resist. So why have I given 4 out of 5 stars to this magnificent resort... Well, on more than one occasion, and specifically during this latest stay (1st week of February, 2018), housekeeping has been less than acceptable. As a VERY tidy guest, not much cleaning is required, but not any cleaning was performed for several days in a row except clean towels and pillows fluffed. Dirty room service dishes were ignored and left on the counter, the ice bucket remained full of water (melted ice), the bedside stand was left with rings and stains, toilet paper ran out twice, but more, the bathroom floor was given no attention. I expect more than poor housekeeping from a resort of this caliber. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would never allow days to pass without bringing any housekeeping issues to the attention of the general manager. In closing, should you choose to book a get-away at the Mira Monte, I doubt you will be disappointed!

It's a nice resort, the type you would expect to find here in Palm Springs. The food at the restaurant is average, nothing great. The pool area is nice, but otherwise nothing unique. Comfortable, great staff, and ballrooms were nice.

Phenomenal resort with excellent service all around. For those into keeping fit while on the road or vacay, the resort offers a nicr little gym with free weights and good cable machines. There are 2 nice pools on site and a giagantic hottub at the main pool.

Breakfast at the on-site restraunt was delicious.

There are movie nights at the pool and poolside bar service for those playing "margaritaville".

Room service is quick and professional.

Thank you Miramonte for a wonderful stay!

The resort was beautiful, and the rooms were very clean. The staff was helpful with inquiries about any toiletries we missed and they provide a free shuttle to the other adjoining resorts. Only stayed one night but it was awesome I would definitely go back.

It's very expensive but it was the best spa experience I've had. The masseuses were very professional. It would be better if I had a coed sauna because I went for a couples massage. But there was a pool and a jacuzzi in the mixed area.

It's a very nice place and the rooms are extra spacious. The common areas have been updated nicely, but the rooms could probably use a little updating to make more modern. There are two vanities in the bathroom but the bathtub used small. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the Citrus and Palm was really good.

Nice, modest hotel. Reminds me of an apartment complex in many ways. Room I stayed in was a little tired, but large and comfortable. Small hotel overall, and with that, pretty quiet. Seems very suited to business travelers or this just seeking a home base while exploring the region.

I m currently staying in a junior suite here paid for with my Hilton points and am completely unimpressed. Unfortunately the negative reviews are the accurate ones. I ve stayed at other Curio Collection hotels and this is NOT what I was expecting. There was a long line at check in, as only one person was working. The map was barely legible because it had been copied so many times and the buildings numbers were super hard to read. We found our room, but could find no elevator to the second floor. There were no luggage carts to be seen anyway, so the stairs were unavoidable. The room is fine big and clean, but cheaply furnished. The bed is comfy though. There are two glasses in the room, no wine opener. When you call the front desk, no one picks up. One of our glasses broke so we called for replacement glasses and they brought paper ones and said for glass glasses we called the wrong number. ????? They could have said this over the phone. Anyway, we called room service like they told us to and it took another hour to get them. This is what I would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites something that s not full service. This is, however, advertised as a full service resort. The grounds are very pretty. It s a shame to see such a beautiful property go to waste like this.

The room was large. I stayed for three nights in room 1211. The towels were large and plush. The bed was comfortable. The landscape was beautiful. The facility was older but has been updated. My room had some problems. It had at least three broken tiles in the bathroom vanity area that moved when you stepped on them. The toilet was leaking onto the floor from the fresh water side. Mold was growing in the shower. I did report the problems to the front desk and they offered to change my room.

Old resort in need of more updates. This was the first Curio property I've been disappointed by. The main building and restaurant was recently renovated and trendy, but the rooms and pools are very dated, circa 1980. Rooms smelled a bit musty. Unless you're going to the tennis center next door, skip this one.

Positive - Food was excellent (had the seared Ahi on a bed of salad)
Not so positive - very small cabernet wine selection, and the one we wanted was not available.
Positive - Bloody Mary was very good!
Positive - bed was excellent
Not so positive - adult pool was small; no bar;
Not so positive - general pool was not as large as I would expect for a "resort" of this size.
Our vacation plans included sitting in the cool water, which did not happen for us.
Not so positive - bath towel came with a hole in it!
Not so positive - I still do not understand what the "resort fee" is, other than an upcharge$
Not so positive - they charge for parking$

When we arrived I thought we were at the wrong hotel because there was no valet or bellman. We were paying $500.00 a night so this was strange. In the end we, we carried all of our own things into our room and parked our own car. The resort is nothing special. The rooms are whatever. Bathrooms old and dated. Pool area didn t have enough chairs and there were no waiters or waitresses at the pool. You had to go to the bar and order. There is only one restaurant on the property. If you stay here and pay under $300 a night it s fine. Not worth more.

Amazing!!!!! Beautiful grounds- roses and herbs everywhere. Well maintained. Rooms were clean and big. Definitely the best value for $ I have seen in Palm Springs.

The food was mind-blowingly good! You won't have any reason or desire to leave this place for anything.

The pools are nice and heated. The hot tubs are classy. The staff is friendly.

We'll definitely be back!

The hotel was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pools we relaxing and not too busy when we stayed. They had live music in the bar on Friday night. Which was fun. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and expected better than we experienced. It was ok. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen staff. Overall it was a good stay.

We could not have chosen a more beautiful location...

We could not have chosen a more beautiful location for our December wedding.

The Miramonte is a beautiful venue in Indian Wells. It was large enough for us to have multiple events (Welcome Party, Hindu Ceremony, American Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception, Brunch) all in different locations!

But it's intimate enough that we felt we had the entire resort for ourselves. The mountain view background cannot be beat. Our photos look like a fairy tale.

The resort was recently acquired by Hilton for their Curio collection. And they underwent a HUGE renovation just before our wedding. We were a bit worried but everything was done in time.

This resort is wonderful as it doesn't feel like a huge corporate hotel. Felt intimate and special. Cannot say enough about the venue and location.

The food - Outstanding! We had several catered events (Rehearsal dinner, Welcome party, Reception, and brunch) and the food far exceeded our expectations. Chef Paul is FANTASTIC!

Our guests are still raving about the food.

We also ate at their newly renovated restaurant several times and the food there is fantastic. The bartenders also make wonderful specialty cocktails. You can dine outside and watch the sunrise or sunset. Really cannot be beat. If we lived in Indian Wells, this is a restaurant we would go to even if we weren't staying at the hotel.

And a HUGE shout out to Allan who coordinated the staff throughout the weekend. Like we said, we had multiple events. Two weddings (Hindu and American), a welcome party with Mehndi (henna), rehearsal dinner, a lunch, a cocktail hour, a dinner, and a brunch.

And the staff didn't miss a beat. And they were incredibly friendly. We don't know how Allan coordinated everything the way he did but he's a magician! Someone please give this man a raise. Truly fantastic.

Our wedding was a beautiful experience - 5 STARS!

Something to note - we had outside catering for religious and cultural purposes. The resort allows this exception if you speak to them in advance and caterer has all their paperwork. But there will be very high fees if the outside restaurant does not provide flatware, plates, etc. Make sure you negotiate everything in writing well in advance so there are no surprises.

Stayed here for our 9th anniversary and had a great time. Very friendly staff accommodated an early check-in request without issue. Our suite was huge, especially considering the cost, and was also nicely appointed. Jacuzzi tub filled up amazing fast and was quieter than most.

The bar and restaurants were great too. Food was excellent, and our drinks were tasty and generous.
Overall had a wonderful experience.

The resort itself was nice and somewhat clean. My brother and I stayed there with our families. As soon as he walked into his bathroom, there were roaches in the tub. That was a bad start, but we tried to be positive so we tried to enjoy the rest of our stay. In regards to my room, we had a suite on the first floor. I could not sleep due to the constant walking from tenants above. Its not the hotel's fault, but the light walking from the tenants above could be heard as if someone was stomping deliberately on the floor to annoy us.
HUGE PROBLEM:What they don't tell you about the hotel is that there are a ton of hidden fees. We got a great deal for a two night stay, but at the end of our stay, we paid over $250 on additional resort fees, gratuity fees, service fees, and yes, even SELF parking fees!! We did get some dinner vouchers which were great, and some spa vouchers; however, there is a minimum amount of time that you must schedule a spa visit before the voucher can apply. For example, in order to use $25 dollar credit, you must book at 60 minute massage which runs for over $150, then you MUST pay a 20% gratuity and service fee. At checkout, there were several people complaining with the checkout dest one after another. It was pretty sad. For the price that we ended up paying at the end of it all, I'd should had stayed at the Hilton across the street. I would give this place a 4 or 5 if the hotel cancelled all of its hidden fees and kept it to a minimum. Resort fee alone were about $30 per day, thats too much.

There was a discount code sent from the organizer and a wedding ceremony at this hotel, but it was not possible to set up the website as soon as the reservation was made, so I made a reservation by phone. As for the price, "It will be a guide at the fixed price because it is not currently set up on the Web, but it will be a half price upon payment. I will send a confirmation e-mail." I confirmed the reservation by saying the confirmation number. It is said that the price is higher than what is actually displayed on the Web at the payment stage, and resort fees and other Taxes are different, and even if you say a confirmation number, it is half price instead of resort fees and other Taxes included. It was not like talking. There was no confirmation email, there was no evidence, and I did not want to be cheap. The quality of the bed linen and towels in the room was poor, and it felt too old and too old. Soji also is not good enough. The orange juice was delicious.

The rooms were so beautiful and well-appointed with everything you need, including robes. I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 for the following reasons: our rented cabana was messy when we arrived, the phone in our room didn't work so we couldn't call room service. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay, the hospitality we received, and the quietness of this resort. We will definitely consider coming back again.

The service at this resort is completely abysmal. I purchased an overnight stay as a gift for my parents and every step of the process was like pulling teeth. I had to call the resort several times because I hadn't received a confirmation that the booking had even gone through. Then after my parents stay, I received my receipt and discovered I was overcharged by about $200. I was assured over the phone my credit card would be reimbursed but still have not received a cent back. Beware of terrible service, hidden fees, and review your receipts carefully if you intend on staying here.

Once the rude Mexican family that overtook the entire pool/jacuzzi area left after Memorial Day, we recovered and liked the rest of our week here. BTW, that Mexican family rented one room for one night but had about 25 people with coolers, backpacks filled with food, and booze. It was a nice picnic/family reunion. They didn't buy so much as ice from the resort and took over the place, unapologetically! Now, I love Mexico and Mexicans, and even lived south of the border for three years, so I'm not blaming them. The resort says no outside food, beverages, etc to the rest of us. Our family paid their hard-earned money to stay here under those restrictions. How come they didn't?

Miramonte was one of the worst experiences I ve had at a hotel. We got to the hotel at 3:00PM and were told we would get a call when the hotel was ready. At 4:45PM still no call. I called and they said the room wasn t ready. I went to the front desk and was told the same thing by an employee that seemed annoyed and in a bad mood. The manager also in a bad mood finally gave us a room. Still confused why they were so upset with us when we just wanted to check in. I booked a room with 2 queen beds. When we got to the room, it was a king. I went back down to the lobby and the manger fought with me and told me that s not what I booked even though I had the receipt. As we were talking someone called having the same problem and the another group next to us was complaining about the same thing! We didn t get into a room until 6PM. Other people around the hotel were waiting around with their luggage also at this time. It seemed like the hotel was overbooked. We ended up getting a floor level room and brought a roll away bed but when we told the guy who brought it in thanks, he didn t say anything and walked out.

Also Although it was offseason, you would still expect music at the pool. There was nothing.

We ended up getting a credit for food and drinks after all of this but still not happy with the horrible customer service and awkward encounters. BTW they stilled charged my card for the food credit. Still waiting to see if I get my money back. You are on vacation and shouldn t have to deal with rude people. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

We had booked this hotel to stay a couple of days this week but got extremely DISAPPOINTED.
When we got there and realize they have one pool that was out of service due to a leak. The other pool was very dirty and had no servers or music. The concierge explained to us that they have "NO SERVERS ON WEEKDAYS AT THE POOL AT ALL" why they don't explain that before we book and save us time and stress Despite the terrible service when my boyfriend had requested something special for our two year anniversary and they totally ignore it. We ended up canceling our reservation and finding a new hotel.

I write this review as a suggestion for this Hotel to improve their service so other people don't have to deal with it ever again.

Thank you,
