Astoundingly gorgeous location the Villas were absolutely impeccable and the food in lodging was spot on. Is located right between Palm Desert and Cathedral City for easy commute to anything you may need or want in the low desert with quick freeway access

Decent property, good rates.

Decent property, good rates.

Came here and stayed one night in one of the villas for business. The room was very nice and spacious, cames with a kitchen and a living room. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the room is on the 2nd level and there's no elevator, so I had to walk up and down the stairs in over 100 degree heat, not fun!

The check-in process was also very confusing because the property has the hotel side and the villa side. I went to the wrong side and they couldn't find my reservation. Parking was pretty easy next to my building.

Have stayed 9+ times over past 3 years. Excellent staff and clean, pretty villas with elegant furnishings. They're always updating interiors which are impeccably clean. Amazing pools and grounds. Healthy meal options @ restaurant. Super family-friendly, but also great for a romantic or last-minute golf trip getaway too. Secure entry and staff always make us feel happy to return. Our #1 Go-to place to stay in the desert!

I roomed with a Brazilian whose wife in Brazil sent a couple things she ordered from local stores for her husband to bring home from the US. The items came in two small boxes and a small package on the same day we arrived at the hotel. The hotel charged him $64 for storage and delivery. Thinking that price was absurd we went to the receptionist to request they remove it reduce the charge. After talking to the manager the receptionist came back saying they wouldn't remove the charge. Besides the horrible management and the room service not getting to it room until very late in the day, everything was pretty much as expected.

Check it was very quick and there was someone at valet that drove me to my car (since the lot is very large) and then he drove me to my room. He asked if I wanted to repark and he'd be happy to drive me back to my car so I can repark. Very nice staff and the place was really nice looking and the rooms are large. Only thing I didn't like at first was how confusing it was to find the lobby.

Quite ok, though there s 2 things I didn t like. As much as I love animals, there was duck business right in front of my door every day. By day 3 I already figured out I was in the duck s way and not the other way. The other thing I didn t like is there was no soda machine where I was. If I wanted to have something to drink I had to call room service every time.

Our stay was awful. We arrived late at night and we were hungry, this hotel didn t have room service food so we went to sleep hungry.

Also the service is terrible. The employees don t know anything about the hotel. The hotel has no system.

We were in a horrible room away from the lobby so we asked to move, the employees told us that they would move our baggage s. Late at night we come to our room and our luggage is no where to be seen! After this inconvenience we were promised to get a deep cleaning. We come back to our room the next day and nothing!

The employees are rude. We wanted to rent bikes so we went by the pool. The employee there kept rolling their eyes at us. Finally we got our bikes and they forgot to tell us that they costed money. We explained that they need to let us know how much we would be spending and they didn t care one bit.

Finally the employees lack of common sense. When we arrived in our new room we checked our messages and we had a message saying that our new room was ready! How were we supposed to get that message if we weren t even checked into the room?!

My family and I were very disappointed and we won t be coming back.

Great hotel. Employees were very attentive and enthusiastic. The resort fee comes with some perks. One of the perks is that it comes with two free drinks at the bar. Beds were very comfortable and the size of the room was good.

Great destination for families. The employees feed 2 giant Flemish rabbits and a tortoise every day, they'll even let you kids go in and let them. Pool was great, nice slide for the kids to use.

Beautiful grounds, friendly and professional employees, pool area is a really great layout and size, and having a great golf course on-site is even better. Rooms are nice, but for what you pay, they aren't anything super special. It's also not really close to anything "touristy" so you can expect a few minutes drive to get to downtown Palm Springs or the airport. Overall a fun experience.

Extremely dated, dark and rather creepy room, no mini bar, only decaf coffee in room, screen missing on patio door, bulbs in bathroom flicker - waiting for Anthony Perkins to jump out, not much for the money. Sad for a Westin.

We stayed at the villas - they were good. Nice and clean. A bit dated. Easy access to pool from our building. Slim pickings on the kitchen/housewares. I took a star away because of the cheep skate daily parking fee. We re there on vacation - they are in the middle of the desert - we all need cars. That was just tacky to charge $15 a day. The grounds and pools were all very nice though. Restaurants were both just average at best and we ate off resort or prepared something in the villas. Played the Pete dye course a couple times. Was really nice but not a desert course and also not one of Pete dye s more challenging tracks - definitely a resort course just a really nice one.

We, me and my family, planned to come to Westin to...

We, me and my family, planned to come to Westin to have a relaxing weekend after having a tough week. Since we saw the resort is not cheap, we were a bit hesitant. However, we trusted that the reviews and star ratings were accurate, so we went for it. What a terrible mistake!
Out first impression was wow because the resort is big and nicely decorated from the outside. After driving for many hours, we were looking forward to taking a hot shower and resting in our room. That s the beginning of a very disappointing and frustrating weekend.
First, the room was not entirely what we expected. One of our deciding factors for which room to book was the fact that netflix was included on some of the rooms. Well, ours did not have it even though the description of the room we choose said it was part of it. We let that one slide. At this point, it was late at night and we were hungry, so we ordered dinner via room service. While waiting for the food, we wanted to freshen up for bed and take a hot shower. To our surprise, there s no hot water. A four star hotel with a room without hot water? Really? We called the front desk about it and they sent someone to look into it. We were informed by their maintenance guy that he knew that there was already an issue with the pump and that he will make a phone call to have us moved and have our breakfast comped for the inconvenience. After being informed that we were being moved, we started packing our stuff again and contacted room service that we are being moved and to deliver our dinner to the new room. Next thing we know, front desk calls us again to inform us someone is coming to fix the issue. At this point, we re already annoyed and frustrated with all the misinformation, broken promises, and constantly changing information. Next things we know, our dinner came which we were looking forward to eating only to realize that everything was cold. Understand that this dinner cost almost $200, I expected it to at least be warm. Hungry and frustrated, we ate cause we are starving at this point. During dinner, 2 other maintenance guys came to tell us they fixed the issue. At this point, it was already past 10pm and our son was exhausted from our trip and all the inconvenience they ve put us through that he did not get to take the hot shower he is used to before going to bed.
Next morning, we ordered breakfast for 3 (pancakes and frittata with toast). The food came (again cold) with a set up for only 2 people, the pancakes without the maple, the frittata without the toast, and a bill for us to sign. This after being promised a comped breakfast because of the inconvenience the night before. We contacted room service again to ask for what was missing and about the charges. At this point, we asked to speak with the manager because we ve just had it with the broken promises. We spoke with Abdul, GM of the food/room services. He apologized and supposedly comped the breakfast. I say supposedly because the charges are still pending on our account. I am unable to see the final charges they have made. After speaking with Abdul, we received another call from Araceli (she said she is the GM of the resort). I told her about our experience thus far. She apologized and asked what we wanted. I told her that this was our first time at their resort and that we have no idea what options we have. I told her that all we wanted was to have a relaxing weekend. Frustrated, I gave the phone to my husband and he just told her to do whatever it is she thinks can make up for the horrible experience we ve had so far.
I have more to say but it does not fit here. So I will end it with this, the entire experience has been one bad thing after another. I don t think we were asking for much other than keeping their promises and decent service. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I will not go back to this place again.

Nice, clean, hospitable. Still, parking fee is a money grab; $15/night outside and shouldn't be. $44/day occupancy and tourism charge (tax) is another grab. 16$/day State tax!? a pass-through! Staff are nice but often cannot answer questions or respond (eg: one tv channel was off for a week with no resolution, reported a leaking sink and it was not fixed). Would we return? Maybe.

We had a traditional room so the lowest room. It was nice but the bath was a bit old. The bath's faucet leaked. And looked like it had a ring around the bath tub but it turned out it was a bad paint job.

My wife and I stayed at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort when we drove down for Coachella. What I saw of the facility was very nice but I can't really comment on all the amenities as we spent a lot of our time at the music festival. The pool area seemed about what you would expect for that class of place (several of them throughout the property, misters setup by/in the cabanas). Our room was quite large and the bed was firm and comfortable - better than most hotels I've stayed at. With all the space they allotted to the room and wash room I would have preferred a larger shower as the one in our room was smaller than ours at home and we don't even have what I would consider a large shower. My wife and I generally shower together and it was quite difficult to do that there. We did enjoy and make use of the back patio area off of our room (ground floor) which was fairly private.
