The rooms were great. I had full control of the temperature and the beds were pretty good too. We had dinner there and their service was great! Made sure we had water and would cater to our types of diet such as having a vegetarian meal.

Wonderful venue for a ball and great rooms. It is a magnificent hotel and great room services. The stay was superb . But valet was a bit unorganized without good support from back room gals and dropped communication- waited an hr to get car.
Tons of history and an elegant hotel from a bygone era. Be sure to visit the hall of photos on the way to the spa to see a retrospective of all the celebrities who stayed or were a part of events here. Fantasic lounge with wonderful staff willing to chat and share memories!
Stunning lobby and public areas. Room was large enough for 3 people but very dark. The electrics needed updating and the beds were small for doubles. The bathroom was ok, clean etc with nice toiletries, but the bath/shower had a horrible clingy shower curtain (yuk!).
They did unfortunately mess up the bill but sorted it out quickly when we notified them.
No free WiFi however, which you would think comes as standard these days.
The room design is phenomenal; the rooms look modern, and the bed is super comfy. They also have a TV with DirectTV, which hangs right over the bed, so you can watch some TV while comfortably lying in bed.
The hotel on the outside looks great, and upon entering it is much better inside than on the outside the lobby is very beautiful, very decorated the receptionist was friendly when booking I liked the attention I received, and the rooms are super nice and very comfortable bed
An absolutely stunning hotel that beautifully maintains itself in a bygone time. The beautiful architecture and decor is unfortunately a thing of the past, but at least we have the Millennium Biltmore Hotel to go to to reminisce about the early 20th Century. Did you know that the Academy Awards used to be held here? Unfortunately Pershing Square is still disgusting but at least we have this gem in downtown Los Angeles.
Extremely elegant interior and staff are exceptional. Rooms a bit outdated and walls/windows/doors are thin - bring earbuds if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, a great stay.
It was a stellar hotel service! No hidden charges compared to others! Mike managed to find me a room right away as He promised me. Their place was fabulous! The dining area was spacious. The lounge bar serves good mixed drinks as well. Thank you so much to all of you. I will surely come back! "5" stars all the way!
It is one of the most glamorous hotels and has appeared more times in American movies. 50-60's style, very clean and tidy. An essential stop if you visit Los Angeles.
Beautiful hotel with gorgeous architecture and ceilings. Poke your head in here if you're on the area. You'll definitely see the beauty. Large, gorgeous ball rooms for weddings and large formal events. Check out the historic corridor for old pictures of events held in the hotel.
Loading dock is tricky, and doesn't make it easy to come in and out of, but staff is really friendly and accommodating to our needs. Worked a wedding inside the Gold Ballroom.
Love, love, LOVE this place! Beautiful venue, beautiful rooms...it feels like old glamour. The area is sketchy, but they're trying to revitalize, and there are so many things within walking distance. It's not a hotel where you're just spending the night, but one you want to experience and savor.
A nice, ornate but stuck in the past hotel. My personal preference is more modern hotels...the rooms were basic, but roomy; no complimentary water bottle, below average WiFi speed and not even a glass in the bathroom to place your toothbrush in. None of these are big problems, but other hotels I ve stayed in, do a better job. Overall, good but not amazing.
Staff was absolutely great. Very friendly and responsive with any and all of my needs. Room was clean and comfortable. Such an beautiful hotel, very well maintained, especially since it's almost 100 years old. I would definitely stay here again
We really love the place! They could offer a terrace where you can sit and relax. They are neat and prepared with great care. You could feel like you're at home. I really wanted to stay longer. It is situated in a good location to visit other spots. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for this marvelous stay!
It's pretty damn nice, everything is clean and the staff are very helpful. Small rooms lack a fridge which was disappointing, and there is no microwave.
Very nice interior design in public spaces, lower tier rooms show their age a bit but that cant really be helped with the age of the building. Restaurant and bar both solid, but definitely priced for their environ.
First I did not stay at the hotel I had dinner in their dining room for Thanksgiving. It's a beautiful hotel but it needs some love. There is a fountain in the lobby but out of the four Jets only to work. There are places where the paint needs to be fixed and these are just minor cosmetic things but they make the place look dated. This should be a 5-star rating but instead of giving it a four-star. it's a beautiful beautiful hotel that needs some tender loving care.
The place is pretty creepy. The old windows allows for a good amount of outside noise, even from high floors. The staff upgraded us immediately w/o question after we noticed and complained of blood stained shower curtains.
We stayed at the Pacific Inn recently while our home was being treated for termites. Being Seal Beach residents, it was refreshing to be treated like neighbors by the staff. The manager, Freeman went out of his way to make sure our accommodations exceed our expectations. The room was clean, well appointed made out time seem more like a "staycation" than a sleepover. They offer a complimentary breakfast and the coffee machine in the lobby is like a virtual barista. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Seal Beach.
If you have been reading ratings and are wondering if they are accurate or not listen up friends..... the lobby and main hotel areas are exquisite indeed. The rooms, not so much. Our bed was rickety, the bathroom smelt of mold, furniture had huge scratches, towels were rough and stained and the sheer had huge lime scale deposits.
The associate at the Front Desk that checked us in didn't help start things off to a good start either. First, no one bothered to acknowledge us when we arrived. I had to walk up and ask if anyone was available! Beyond that, the associate barely made eye contact with us and didn't speak to us at all! Not even when she places the bill in front of us. It's so easy to offer kind, courteous service (I know because I come from the Hotel industry) but you can tell they just didn't try.
In summary, beautiful hotel building, great location BUT.....Expensive parking, crappy service, poor quality rooms and awful amenities.
The main attraction of this hotel was the lobby and common areas. They are absolutely stunning to see. The room was okay; however, you could definitely see the age of the hotel here. The service was wonderful and everyone was incredibly helpful. We loved the bar inside the hotel.
What a great place with great staff! I stayed here in the pre-pandemic times and it was very good. Now to see how they have adapted to these new times is truly excellent. I had some minor personal issues that nobody the whole in town could help me with, except the fine folks of the Biltmore! Gilbert was exceptionally helpful in assisting with my temporary disability, and also a wonderfully nice and kind person. I can see and understand why they are short-staffed but are handling it exceptionally well. As good as the building history and architecture is, it is the staff that make it easily 5 stars
An old hotel with renovated options, the place is beautiful and has history, details in all the main spaces and in the club house offer interesting things. It is worth staying, also has many points of interest near it.
Very beautiful hotel with a professional and helpful staff. Room was large and very nice. The staff made it easy to navigate L.A. and to accommodate our needs.
Beautiful place, earlier check-ins than any other hotels I've been, very comfortable and quiet rooms. My only complain is their breakfast. I had the cup of fruits and they had an after-taste like the hand soap, and the croissants were dry, stale and cold.
This hotel was so bad that I checked out early. The rooms look nothing like pictures, they are outdated and everything is worn out. They tried to charge me extra twice. Once for executive breakfast for the whole period of my stay and again for a valet parking when I didn't have a car.
Doesn't offer all the amenities of many of the newer hotels in downtown LA, but if you want to feel like you're experiencing a piece of history then this is the hotel for you. The grand high ceilings and historic ballrooms give you the sense of old Hollywood and the rooms are recently renovated and comfortable.
Beautiful place, stayed here a couple of nights, the hotel is great despite its age, but my wife and I had a horrible experience on our last trip. The security guards kicked us out because we were taking pictures of the building!! ( While other people were doing it too without problem) We wanted to have a couple of quick photos for our engagement, we didnt have permits so we understood and we complied after management explained to us. We want to walk around to show the photographer the place for when we had our post wedding photoshoot (with a permit) however the security guards were harassing us to the point of having 4 security guard escorting us out saying we were trespassing and that pictures were not allowed. WE WERENT EVEN ON THE PICTURES, it was just the building and the spaces.
The reception is great and I had the pool to myself most of the time, but the sheets need sorting out and the windows replacing. The bathrooms need an overhaul too.
Don't use valet parking if you can find parking around that crazy area----45.00 or 25.00 with validation, then the attendant wanted a tip--I gave him one,get another job.
Nice hotel, nice room, bus opposite the hotel. The only worry is the isolation of the windows, whether closed or open, we feel like we are outside. The impression that the windows dates from the construction of the hotel.
We just returned from a visit to the Millennium Biltmore. If you love old hotels, be sure to visit this one. Our stay was like visiting the elegance of a bygone era. The staff was accommodating and helpful with restaurant suggestions. As others have noted, the street noise was a bit intrusive because the old glass windows are single paned, but a pair of ear plugs fixed that pretty well. The bathroom was slightly small, but subtle restorations made it perfectly adequate. We loved the ambience!
Very pretty, historic, classic beauty. Nice switch from the cookie-cutter modern venues of our time. Respectful, welcoming staff. Proximity to Whole Foods (also an Amazon locker), a great Irish pub, Modern Times brewery, and a short ride to the convention center.
The hotel is very good, with some very good luxuries, not to mention that this hotel has been used for some movies and series, but apart from that it has a good location despite being old the hotel the rooms are clean, very elegant, excellent service, I liked
