Absolutely beautiful hotel, with so much cool history and architecture. Flipped my lid when I realized that Taylor Swift filmed "Delicate" in the main hall! I loved every aspect of my stay from the room itself, to the helpful staff, and the neat speakeasy style bar. 10/10 would stay again.

Stayed here for three nights. The receptionist are very nice and welcoming. The hotel could use some renovations and better cleaning. The issue we had with our room is that the shower was not draining. Came to the lobby and asked for someone to come by and check it out. Waited 30 minutes and no one ever came. It was late at night and we had just flown in and we were very tired. Decided to flow up with the situation the next morning. The receptionist apologized and said he would get someone to look at it. Came back to our room in the afternoon and checked the shower to find a dirty towel and a dirty shower. The room was not clean and the bed had not been made. My husband took the towel to the receptionist and showed it to him. He apologized and gave us a $50 credit for parking. I asked about housekeeping not coming to clean the room and he said it was due to COVID-19. When I check out I was charged a $25 facility fee for each day that we stayed. It would have been nice to have that waived due to the room not being clean everyday. Would I recommend this hotel to a friend or family member? No.

I so love this hotel! It has so much character, charm and history! Our room was very nice even though we got more of a discounted rate from a travel site. I just loved sitting in at the bar having a martini! Lots of places to eat within walking distance too. The front desk staff was very nice as well. be warned parking is valet only and $50. I think you can find cheaper parking off-site but not sure how far away. On the map it looks close to skid row but my husband and I walked to a restaurant in the evening and didn't have any problems. Tons of Uber's around though if you don't want to walk.

I contacted them the other day and they have raised the prices to $57 if you can even believe! I guess they realized they were almost $20 cheaper than everyone else. So know that going in. They are still a great company though, but whats with that extreme increase??

Our first room was on the 4th floor, facing the courtyard, facing brick walls and a series of deafening air-conditioning units. The toilet was leaking ... we complained and we were moved to another room at no charge. Larger, higher upstairs, so brighter and quieter, the room was ideal for our family. The receptionist offered us the Club Lounge pack for $ 50 per day: it is an ideal formula because it gives access to the breakfast lounge (varied, well supplied and good quality). We were 4 (with my wife and 2 teenagers) = 12.50 the breakfast / person in a palace, who says better?

Not a great experience. We ordered teddy bears for our kids at check in and never received them. The hotel was built in the 1920s and the rooms showed it. I would never stay there again. This is a hotel living on its past glory.

What everyone says is basically correct. Old world charm...beautiful lobby and confeeence rooms. However the actual hotel rooms are 3 stars at best. Bathroom tiny...horrible lighting, cheap luxury restoration that makes it look cheaper. Tired worn out wood with cracks, dents or missing wood....for some reason i have two tp holders next toilet. Oh and no hand towel or wash cloth. Now that i write this maybe 2.5 stars

This hotel looks more than it is. It is very expensive and the rooms themselves are ok but quite old and do not match the glamorous entrance hall. Don't make the mistake and take breakfast. They charge you 25$ for some eggs and tortilla. Better walk some meters to whole foods market. Will never choose this overpriced hotel again.

Ever since I saw this hotel in several movies I have wanted to stay here and I got my chance today. It is an elegant hotel especially in the lobby area, bar and restaurant. I even got a $50 at drink and food credit for booking. Loved the hotel and its location would stay here again.

The lower part of the hotel (hall, corridors ...) is fantastic. The rooms are old, especially the bathrooms. The windows do not close properly and there is a lot of noise from outside. It urgently needs a renovation.

Fantastic gem of American history and hotel fashion. The entrance from a car isn't very sophisticated being under a tower and all, but the interiors don't disappoint. Docked one star though as the historic nature of the place means that windows are thin and you get some sounds of the city at night. This is an amazing hotel for meetings and loaded with film and history magic.

Very nice hotel, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was nice and very visually appealing. Had a two bed room for 4 guest, a but on the small side but enough room for 4 grown men. The bathroom. Was also pretty small but still really nice. My only gripe would be that they had 6 elevators but I found myself constantly waiting to ride one down to the lobby floor. Aside from that though it was an awesome stay.

I loved this hotel upon arrival! But when it came time to check in thats when the problems started. It took us over 1 hour to check in. Luckly the manager was extrememly nice and brought out snacks for the guests. The poeple behind the counter however were extremely rude. I booked my stay through their website for two night for $320.00 to stay in a suite. However, we got a basic room nothing how it was described in the photos. The cleanliness was amazing though. When I checked my bank statement I had been charged $366.00? When we tried accesing the pool they informed us we had to wait 30 minues even tho we had made reservations when I mentioned our reservation the man said it's first come first serve even though he said there was someone aheda of us to use the pool so that didnt make sense. after 1 hour we made it into the pool.. on our last night I got an alert from my bank stating that this hotel was trying to run my card for $450.00 I was extremely confused as to why. So we just ended up leaving. Not to mention the parking cost $50.00 a night on top of all the hidden fees etc... And also we heard a lot of chaos at night like people cleaning our restroom? We seen shadows and experience paranomal activities as well. Looking into this hotel now, I realized is one of the most haunted ones in LA.

The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, they also had coffee, coffee maker and a refrigerator. We had breakfast at the hotel's buffet, food was great and the service was outstanding, everyone was very helpful and friendly from the restaurant to the valet. Miguel was one of our waiters and he was very attentive. Will definitely stay here again on our next vacation.

Beautiful and impressive hotel! Room was lovely and well kept. It's a famous place with incredible ceilings, hallways, and a crystal ballroom. Lots of old photos and memorabilia to explore. All staff were friendly and prompt. So cool to visit a place where Taylor Swift created her 'Delicate' music video. Loved visiting the little quick stop cafe for breakfast. The pillows on the bed were a little too soft, but I had everything else I needed to be comfortable. I liked the bathroom and closet. The bathroom was well-lit and the shower gel was nice.

Just two stars for the gym. No exercise/yoga mats in sight, so I had to use a small towel on the floor. The towels were worn and threadbare. Overall,
the gym needs a face lift and lots of updates. The elliptical machine worked well, no complaints there.

Quaint but beautiful hotel! This is a historical building that is often times chosen for weddings and other special events. The valet is polite and doesn't give attitude for in and out car use or not tipping every time.

My fiance and I woke up to bed bugs crawling on us! The manager was very accommodating and had all of our luggage taken to the dry cleaner but this was still one of the worst experiences in a "nice" hotel I have ever had. The hotel lobby is beautiful but the rooms are yucky. Food is ok, parking is $40 a day and the amenities are very old and kind of gross. I have bed bug bites on me and have a whole day to wait for my clothes to be returned. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone

This is our third stay at this hotel, and it has been great again. The staff and hotel are outstanding! During our stay, we interacted with many staff, and they provided first-class service. Angelica is truly an angel and is a great person! She is very helpful and assisted my disabled wife on many occasions. We will stay here again, this is a great hotel, and the staff makes it great!

The size of the rooms is ok. Room was not clean, dust everywhere. The water in the shower runs off very slowly. The rooms in general are already getting old. Parking in the hotel too expensive. However, you can park exactly opposite for 1/3 of the price. Location to the metro good, yes 25 minutes to the walk of fame. The hotel is only partially recommendable.
