Old and poorly kept. A cramped bathroom with a loo...
Old and poorly kept. A cramped bathroom with a loose shower head and a rude hotelier during check in are unacceptable in a hotel of this stature.

Wow. I wasn t a guest and actually just needed a restroom break (touristing does that) when I encountered this magical place. In one of the many hearts of LA this hotel was home to so much magic - and movies!
It s worth a stop to look around, for a coffee or brunch on their restaurant.
Wish I stayed there!
Currently on day 4 of a 5 day stay and have had nothing but horrible experiences since arriving in LA. The hotel placed a hold on my card when I arrived and I spent the entirety of my trip trying to resolve the issue while getting the runaround from every employee I interacted with. Every time I got in contact with a manager, they reminded me how busy they were, and made it seem like my missing $1000+ was a non-issue to them. The hotel upkeep was also pretty rough all the way around and at one point they had an emergency water shut off. Thanks for ruining my trip, Millennium!
It s far from everything strip and not as big as I thought. The u we goes in circle before getting the actual location
The hotel feels very premium generally, but the internet is VERY slow.
I have been here with my girl friends for a get together! And yes, we really enjoyed everything - feeling like celebrities. From the facilities to food to services, our money was all worth it! Certainly, we will be back here to have more girl bonding experience.
Period building helpful staff thanks for making our day trip to LA memorable for right reasons
We stayed at your hotel for a week on a business/holiday trip. It was such a great location, it's easy to get to the center of the town and all the tourist hotspots were amazing. The food was also very delicious and mouthwatering. What a nice place to relax! The overall experience was absolutely amazing! Strongly recommended to all!
Nice enough hotel. Room we got has 2 beds and is pretty big. Also has a fridge and tv. Only stayed there 1 night out of 4 so far but I don't expect anything bad to happen. I stayed here 2 years ago for Anime Expo (same as this year) and that was also a fine experience. Would recommend this place. There is a shuttle right across the street that takes you straight to the convention center.
Jaime serves me my morning coffee at the ground level of the back of the Hotel. Truly a pleasure to start the day. 5 star customer service is worth everything. That is what Jaime gives to everyone. When you wake up in the morning, you should start the day off with 5 star service. Go to the ground level of the back of the Hotel.
A classic hotel built in 1923. If you love at art deco then this is the place for you. All of the ball rooms are as beautiful as they were when they hosted the Academy Awards in the thirties. This I'd still a favorite of celebrities and dignitarys. However this at times come with the cost of smaller rooms and tiny closets of hotels built in a bygone era.. Access to elevators can feel slow and the stairs are narrow in comparison to modern built hotels
Correct location in downtown, near buses and subways. The incredible reception, like the bar, all very well decorated. The staff very friendly and correct. The correct rooms, the bad thing is that they are not modernized as they should, the bathrooms are correct but small, the closet is small, the room is spacious, the windows are not well insulated and the street is perfectly heard even being on the 6th floor. I would not recommend it if you have a light sleep.
It was pretty cool. Customer services was very good and the venue was very clean.
beautiful hotel, feels like it belongs in a different city and time.
Nothing special. Nice lobby that needs a serious cleaning. Watch out for hidden fees by the hotel. They wouldn't remove and could not validate the charge.
The roomsare beautiful, almost perfect! The food is excellent and so is the service!
Hotel well located, but suffers from its years of decoration. Bathroom with shower in bathtub with curtain. Average cleanliness, just the need. Nearby I recommend public parking for a fee of $ 20 / day.
For the uninitiated, the ghost buster film was shot here.
I love this place it is wonderful it's quiet and everybody is very nice they help you with anything you need
The Most Beautiful Hotel in California. Great Service and Beautiful rooms. One of our Favorites in US
Very historical hotel, with great bed and cozy room
Lobby was great, landmark hotel. Rooms and service- not so much.
Checking in was a mess. 30 minutes in line to learn my room wasn't ready, I should go leave my bags with the bellman. Had to wait another 20 minutes at the bell desk for someone to show up and take my bag.
Room decor was fine, but defiantly dates. My pet peeve, in a modern hotel to only have to 2 outlets accessible is absurd. Put a power strip in there if needed.
Windows were so dirty I couldn't hardly see out of them.
Hotel allowed folks from a promotion company to leave convention ads and brochures inside my room when I was out. Did NOT like that.
Finally, every amenity at the hotel is ridiculously expensive. $20.00 for a bagel and cream cheese. All in all was not a good experience at all. Will not go back.
Nice clean room.a little smaller than I expected but nice nonetheless.
When I arrived to the Hotel the staff were very welcoming and were very kind when taking our bags.
The appearance is very impressive,
Guest room passes through simplicity and can only say that it is poor.
I can not feel the front too
I did not have a very good impression.
Parking (valet ONLY) $40
Small room and even SMALLER BTH RM.no joke it was about the size of a small kids room, and the bath room my shoulders touched the Ped sink on one side and the shower curtain on the other side as I sat on the toilet (sorry) but its the only way to tell you just how small it really is
staff not to friendly just a good location with a nice lobby
the night before I stayed at a "lower star motel"
best western style that and a better nights sleep
THATS IT
I went here for my showcase and it was so beautiful the ball rooms and some other rooms the rooms weren't great they do need an update my room had no lights only lamps that were dim
Beautiful place. Love the ambiance. Service was excellent. Will definitely come back.
Hotel with a great history, ballrooms and magnificent ceilings, unfortunately a renovation was forgotten! Friendly staff
Quite rude hotel front staff. Shower is ancient. No lights. One broken lamp. Toilet is cheap.
The Biltmore has great location, and there is plenty within walking distance. The room I stayed in needed some additional cleaning, however. The pool area, while being "historic", also appears to be a bit run down.
It's great and full of history. I hear it's haunted!!!
First-class hotel! I am very happy and grateful that I was able to find this place on time when I badly needed a place to stay. The front disk guy never fails me on my high expectations. All of my questions were addressed on time, and He provided me genuine assistance. The best of the best service I've experienced my whole life.
Booked my stay for 3 nights here and while it is understandable that they do NOT provide room cleaning service due to COVID issue, housekeeping never supplied more than 1 day of shampoo, conditioner, and when I tried to call guest services, I was constantly put on hold because they had other guests to attend to.
Also, many people seemed to be smoking inside the rooms and the hallway was filled with smoke smell.
Gym is not open, yet they charge an amenities fee of $25 per day where there are no amenities to use whatsoever.
Not happy with the stay here.
The lobby on the Pershing Square side serves coffee and wine in the afternoons. I sat there with some family members on Christmas eve and marveled at the beautiful architecture and painted ceiling. I understand episodes of Mad Med were filled there and you can see why. Takes you back in time to an old Hollywood era
Walked through to have a look around. Beautiful hotel obviously, and it was super quiet as well
Beautiful hotel! I was a photographer at an event here so i didn't actually stay, but the staff was very friendly and the interior and architecture was beautiful!
Our first room was trashed. 2nd too small. 3rd the heating didn t work and we were freezing. We didn t discover heating issue until after midnight when we returned and after 2 room changes already we gave up and chalked it down to lesson learned we will never return. Bathroom has no counter space. Room has poor lighting and most outlets don t work for our phone chargers. Felt like we were in a third world country in sub par conditions. I ve stayed here before about 8 years ago and this visit was a far cry. So disappointed in how far they have fallen.
This place is horrible!!!!! the staff is very unprofessional!!!!!! they have bed bugs and the people that work here are stupid. The lady is racist and talks to you like your beneath her they have tenants in there that are crazy that harrass other people kicking in doors, yelling in the hallways!!!!!!!
antique
But the equipment is really old.
Amazing place. So grand and glamourous. Staff is fantastic.
The hotel was elegant, if not a bit old school. However it does have pretty modern amenities, and their rooms and the bathrooms the rooms are quite nice. The ballrooms are quite extravagant and the food that they had at the event I attended was quite good.
I tried to book a room for an employee who was attending a trade show in the area. I booked the room and then attempted to make sure that the room was paid for with the company credit card. I called three times before anyone would finally send me the authorization form. I faxed it in. They didn't get it. I faxed it again. I called to finalize it per their instructions. I was told. "all set". I asked if they had everything they needed. They again said...."you are all set". My employee arrives. " No card on file. We need a $300 deposit." Now I'm trying to call to straighten it out. I have two numbers. Both are constantly busy.
seen live roach crawling on the bathroom counter. bed sheet had a yellow stain on top of it. was not impressed with the amount paid in total $280.00 for this room. $42 a night for PARKING? that's ridiculous. Not satisfied with this hotel or stay. Service wasn't the best for check in either. Bell Hop was nice though.
The top of Los Angeles ... historic hotel but very efficient. Recommended
Old. History Interesting. Needs modernization again. Pool is bad. Rusty. SPA Built for 1920 size people. Too small. Staff friendly. Movie production noises kept me awake all night as they are being filmed on location.
History, interesting hotel, luxurious, old, 96 years old, can be said to be well maintained!
Exisite. Pet Friendly & Advocate Ready, Advocate less than 20min away for any Pet Service 24hrs. RSVIP.weebly.com
Historical property very rich cultural value, friendly staff good drinks
Great hotel, the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The impeccable service. Very nice stay. The hotel is well placed, the safe neighborhood.
This hotel is stunning. A superb mixture of historic and modern, with fantastic architecture and lovely staff. Made to feel really special, in our club room.
Location and the hotel itself is fantastis as welk as breakfast, maintenance and cleanness of the rooms is below expected level, very dirty windows with dust and the quality of fitness and spa (closed) was outdated
I understand it's a historic hotel and the lobby has gorgeous ceilings, but everything else about this hotel is very disappointing, starting from the front door to the rooms and bathrooms. Hotel has a tiny entrance and the wait in the lobby is usually 20 mins to get checked in.
Second major gripe is about the internet, I understand 4-star hotels charge for it and $9.95/day is fine by me, but these clowns charge that per device so be warned that it is 9.95/day/device. For certain days charged me $40/day for internet, once for my cellphone, once for my laptop, once for my tablet and again for my roommate.
Third problem is that the rooms are super small and have a horrible dank/moldy smell. I guess this is the historic flavor to the hotel. The caulking in window is all cracked and chipping off.
Fourth, the bathroom is moldy, tiles are stained with dirt in between.
Finally, they only give you two pillows that as some reviewers said are cotton candy.
So, in conclusion, this is like a 2-star hotel.
Very good ... has an excellent reception and good accommodation !!!
Awesome hotel. But charged a deposit AND put a pending charge on my credit card at check-in. I felt like doing both was highly unnecessary.
Last month, I spent 20 days at this lovely Hotel. It's a 3-Star Hotel with the heart of a 5-Star. I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to save money. The service is incredible and the staff is highly professional and courteous. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner they cover it all. The room I stayed in was very neat and modern. A sleek tiled bathroom with all the amenities you can ask for, and a quite ice-cold air conditioner to escape the heat.
Wow so much history in this hotel. Hosted the Academy Awards. Beautiful interior and hallways.
As we arrived we fou d out that they charge 31$ per day for valet parking. We then waited in a line to check in for 45 min. They made no attempt to compensate us for the wait. We missed the first act of the classic west concert. When we arrived from concert, the bar was opened and they took 20 min to get us a glass of wine. The next morning the water pressure in shower was very low. We ordered room service and asked for a pitcher of water and never received it. We went downstairs to the small store to get a water and it was closed for an hour. We went to get some complimentary in the lobby but both containers were empty. We asked for directions to Starbucks and was told it was on the other side of the street and it was on the same side as hotel. We got in from the 2nd concert later on and saw the bar was closed but the bartender was still there but again we were thirsty and were going to ask bartender if they had any bottled water and the security yelled at us twice saying bars closed really nice! We got up in the morning to check out and decided to go to atm to have $$ to tip the valet. The atm was empty. For the price we paid for the room and valet and poor customer service we got ripped off. I would never stay at this place again
Beds are ridiculously uncomfortable. The hotel might have a nice lobby but so far for me that s about it. The place looks historic and classy but it s also falling apart. And wait till they hit you with their $50/day parking. Just an overall terrible experience. Hundreds of better rooms to book within walking distance. Don t let them trick you. The pics they put on the website are total B.S
No service, we do not change the bath towels, old room, cold staff, not worth its 4 stars!
Beautiful hotel. Great for events. Only had valet for parking which was $45 comped to $22.
History of the hotel obliges to recommend the place. Attention very expensive parking.
The two gentleman bartenders who took care of us from 4-9pm were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive and fun and made us feel like we were a priority for the entire time. Bershan even checked on us mid-way through the evening, and I thought that was so considerate.
